    Beautiful venue with great staff

    Thanks so much to the team at SentryWorld for making our day incredible! Cheryl went above and beyond to help plan everything. I live in another state and she helped make the process easier. She and the whole team made the day run smoothly-- we had an issue with meals matching our seating chart, and they did some quick work to fix it. Cole was also super friendly and helpful throughout our venue visit, menu tasting, and our wedding day.
    I also recommend for newlyweds to stay at the new hotel, which is basically connected to the venue. Our guests really enjoyed their stay, and we had a beautiful honeymoon suite as well.

    Incredible to work with!

    We hosted our New Years Eve wedding at SentryWorld. Every bride and groom wants to work with a venue that looks beautiful, serves amazing food, and makes guests feel comfortable the minute they walk in the door. The staff at SentryWorld did exactly that. The planning process was incredibly smooth. Even though we were asking for some out of the ordinary things - 30 person dinner, 175 person late night reception, dueling pianos instead of a DJ, etc. - and were planning from out of town, we always felt like our requests were no problem at all. Cindy, our event planner, was intimately involved every step of the way. She never missed a beat when we needed to make a change or had a question. The day of, everything went smoothly, leaving the wedding party and families to enjoy themselves instead of worrying about how things were being handled at the venue. I hope I never have to plan another wedding but for those of you who are still searching for the perfect venue, I'd recommend SentryWorld 1000 times over!

    Cindy O'Sullivan and the rest of the wedding team was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout our wedding planning process! From our menu tasting and additional planning meetings, each and every meeting was focused on what we wanted our big day to look like and how to best make it happen. We received so many compliments from our guests on how smoothly everything flowed during our event, and it's all thanks to Cindy and her team working to keep everything on track. I didn't have a single worry throughout my day as to whether or not something was going to happen, as Cindy worked with all of my vendors to make the day exactly what we had dreamed of.

    Where do I begin...from the spectacular views, to the delicious food, the friendly staff and incredible event coordinator (Cindy), our day was beyond magical. As an out of town bride, Cindy's suggestions as to who we could look into for vendors (DJ, Floral, Hair, etc) was crucial and she did not steer us wrong! Our ceremony was in the Atrium with our Reception in the grand ballroom where both had stunning views and modern decor. The day of the wedding went smooth as could be and I feel so lucky to have gotten married at such a wonderful place with such helpful people.

    Sentry provided a beautiful venue for our wedding. We also had the bridal salon, which I would highly recommend, as it allowed me and my bridal party a place to get ready, eat and store our things securely. We had our rehearsal there as well and everything went smoothly. Cindy was there during our rehearsal to make sure everything we wanted was planned and we had everything we needed. In addition, Cindy took the time to work with us and checked in during the wedding to ensure everything was going as planned and worked extremely well with our wedding planner. Another bonus is that you do not have to set up or clean up. I would recommend Sentry.

    So professional and helpful. The room rental covers everything you will need to celebrate your big day! Highly recommend! Plus a beautiful facility inside and out! Does require a minimum on food and alcohol though if that is an issue.

    SentryWorld is STUNNING. There's no words to explain their professionalism, and their kindness.

    I had my wedding at Sentry and every aspect of the venue is so elegant, but modern. It's a gorgeous venue for all seasons, not to mention they are AMAZING to work with. DEFINITELY recommend.

    At first we did not look at Sentry because we thought they would be the most pricey. Little did we know they had one of the best deals compared to other halls. We had the high Courts as our venue which is a little smaller but that was what we liked about it. There wasn't a huge gap in people that were clustered away from the dance floor and at the bar, everything was relativly close. The people we worked with were polite and acommodating however at the time there were some people vacationing etc. so we weren't always talking to the same person or the person we initially talked to was not able to answer our questions. That sometimes was challenging but again they all worked with us and were helpful!

    Top Notch Service

    SentryWorld was great to work with, especially when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19. We worked very closely with Daniel, and he is absolutely the best! Our wedding day was flawless, thanks to all of the staff at SentryWorld!

    I took a random guess at the total cost I think we spent at Sentry. But when I said $9000 I meant for everything. This was both our ceremony and our reception site. It was somewhere around $700 to book the gazebo, and the courts for the reception. Our plates were $20 each, and we bought 290 dinners. The bar tab was about $1700. There was also a food and bar service gratuity that was automatically calculated into our total bill.
    I would say that the only real problems we ran into was with the cake. My husband and I had our hearts set on cherry cheesecake instead of the traditional teared cake. When we talked to our food coordinator the first time about this, they had been going through Sysco, and told us that it would be no problem to get our cakes through them. Also this way they could provide us with refrigerator space. Somewhere down the line they stopped working with Sentry, and failed to tell us this until my Mom was talking to a food coordinator about something else on the phone. So I called every bakery in the area, and either they were booked, or didn't serve that big of a group, or didn't do cheesecakes in the summer, etc. We decided we would just have to make them ourselves, at home, and freeze them, and bring them in coolers the day of the wedding. My Mom went to the grocery store and bought probably 30 boxes of cheesecakes and shortly after Sentry informed us they couldn't allow us to bring in food that was not from a certified baker due to health code reasons. Which is half understandable, and half not...seeing as though we would be making it, bringing it, and storing it, and serving it ourselves, AND we were serving it to our family and friends...not to clients of Sentry. Therefore if there was a problem with the food, the guests would have only us to blame and Sentry would not have been responsible for it in anyway. Thankfully the store let my Mom return the box mix for store credit, but we ended up having to get sheet cakes from Copps for our wedding cake. It tasted fine, yes...but it was our wedding cake...and it's pretty sad that they had to be from a grocery store at the last minute.
    My point of that story was simply to say that I realize that Sentry couldn't allow it even if they wanted it to, and I understand that isn't their fault. However they didn't do a very good job of informing us that they were no longer affiliated with Sysco to begin with. And it just seems to me that if you tell a Client they are going to have something, and then your company decides to stop working with them, you should first follow through on your previous obligations.
