Simply amazing

We hired SEI as our caterer for our wedding. All of the food was simply amazing! Jen and her team were so easy to work with. All of our guests raved how good the food was, including the apple crisp! We highly recommend SEI for all of your catering needs.

Great Food and Service!

Jennifer was very easy to work with throughout the planning process. She was responsive and was able to answer my many questions! During our wedding, the food was amazing. We received so many compliments on everything that was served!

Simply amazing

SEI Catering was the perfect choice for our wedding on 10/12/19! The staff was fantastic, and the food was amazing. We received so many compliments on how good the food was. The staff came the day before the wedding to set everything up and the set up looked amazing. As soon as we sampled SEI, we knew that was who we wanted to work with. I definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of a caterer for any event!

Five Stars for SEI

SEI was AMAZING! We actually didn't know SEI existed; my father-in-law's friend had recommended them to him, so we decided to check them out. From the tasting to our actual dinner at the reception, SEI was fantastic! Lori had handled our tasting and she was very friendly, helpful and informative. Jen was quick to respond and also friendly and helpful. The food during the tasting was great!

We opted to have our meal served to us during the reception and the catering staff was prompt in getting us our meal as soon as we finished our first dance. While we didn't get to interact with the catering staff much, we are very pleased with the work they did! We had so many compliments from our guests about the main meal. We had a few guests who had the vegetarian option and they loved it. We missed out on the cheesecake, but we heard from our guests that it was delicious! We had 200 guests and they had them all through the lines in about 20 minutes.

I initially was worried because we had recently attended a wedding (the kitchen was on-site) and the food was cold, so I had inquired to Jen about my worries regarding the food getting cold (especially since we didn't have a kitchen on-site) and she reassured me they wouldn't have a problem keeping it warm. It was just a fear I had, but there weren't any problems at all!

They were so great with cleanup and they packed everything that was left over for us. We actually didn't have much food left because our guests ate a ton! We heard nothing but positive things from our guests about SEI.

We highly would recommend SEI to anyone. They really are wonderful and so helpful. They have a large menu selection; it was hard to decide what we wanted! Two of the things I liked was 1) they charged one price for the appetizers and it wasn't a per person price and 2) they offered salads with the meal at no additional price. Some of the caterers we met had salads as an additional charge. With an initial guest list of 250 guests, we learned food gets expensive quick when there are per person prices and additional charges, but SEI's prices are very reasonable! You will not be disappointed if you would hire them for your wedding!

Amazing food

My Husband and I just got married May 4th and Sei catered our wedding. The food was amazing and so tasty. We received many compliments from the guests, also. We would highly recommend SEI to anyone who is looking for a caterer.

Lakefield Wedding

I just wanted to say thank you to your catering staff who catered our wedding at Lakefield Weddings. SEI catering was so helpful at figuring out all the details. The food was amazing and we received nothing but compliments. Their staff did a wonderful job.

Sei's Catering was absolutely fantastic. You can't beat their prices and the food is so delicious. From the generous tasting (complete with to-go boxes for leftovers) to our our June 2017 wedding, everything went perfectly. Jen even worked hard last minute to find square black plates, rather than round. I can't say enough great things about their business and the quality of their food. Definitely consider Sei's for your next event if you're looking for a savory, filling meal.

SEI was wonderful!! We received so many compliments from guests. The food was so good, we would definitely use them for another event. They were great to work with and provided so much help with answering all of the questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

We were very pleased with SEI Catering. The food was great, the table settings and linens looked stunning and the staff were excellent. They were an excellent value for their affordable price. Dear SEI, Once again you've outdone yourselves! It's hard to believe but two years ago you'd catered our son's high school graduation party and we were so impressed with the service, quality and quantity of food that we kept you in mind for our daughters party. Last weekend you again delivered as our guests raved about the chicken and pulled pork, and don't forget the two pans of Mac-and-Cheese - a huge hit! Thank you so much for your caring, the food presentation, ease of set-up and attention to detail; it sure made our day much easier knowing we didn't need to worry about the food arrangements. Would absolutely recommend using. The food was Delicious we heard nothing but compliments all night. The staff was so polite and couldn't have been more helpful. Jen was wonderful to work with. I would recommend Sei Catering without hesitation.

Great food at an amazing price... what more can I say?? Seriously, SEI Catering is a wonderful catering service - very flexible, works with you and will meet your needs and more! I requested a few tweaks to some dishes, which were no problem, and the food was a hit and plentiful!!! Professional staff as well. Thank you SEI for catering our wedding reception on June 12th, and apologies for the late review (we got pregnant at the end of June and had a bumpy several months, though baby and I are both healthy!)! Thank you again!!!

We used SEI for our wedding in October 2015. They were awesome to work with! They were very helpful, professional and great to deal with from the moment we inquired about catering our wedding till the very last minute of our wedding, The food was very good! We had many compliments from our guest of how yummy the food was. It was really nice that we could take home any leftover food. For the price we paid, it was well worth it! My sister booked them and had them for their wedding this October, again, they didn't let us down. Very good food!

My wife and I used SEI catering for our wedding reception and they were a dream to work with. They even went above and beyond when they had the extra time to do other tasks. Sei catering is awesome. My friend highly recommended Sei catering and we were extremely impressed with this company.
They were so flexible and willing to work with new ideas.
The food was outstanding. I never had roast beef this tender in my life. Honestly I don't even care much for beef but all I can say is wow!!!
The portion sizes were generous and the prices are unbelievable. Many guests Raved about the dinner.
I really felt Jen was so professional and always responded to my calls and questions on a timely manner. She was awesome at the wedding with her staff. I did not worry about a thing and truly enjoyed the entire wedding.

Everything from the website that was very straight forward with menu options, pricing and upgrades, to our contact with Jen was great! We had a buffet style rehearsal dinner to plan and Jen at SEI was just fantastic, at the last minute we found out that a couple attending the dinner was vegan & Jen went above and beyond to accommodate them. The table settings were so pretty, the food was delicious, we couldn't have been happier with our experience. SEI will be the caterers we use in the future for any parties we are planning in the future!

Review of Tasting:
Jen at SEI Catering is fantastic to work with! We are getting married about 3 hours from where we live, so I relied heavily on the internet to find our vendors. My searches led me to SEI's website, and I'm so glad that I found them! We decided to make a weekend trip out to do some wedding planning and Jen was kind enough to arrange a tasting for us on short notice. I let her know that my Mom and Aunt would be joining us and she included them when preparing food, as well, which was SUCH a nice surprise! The food is truly amazing - everything was so great that it was hard to choose for the wedding! If you're looking for homestyle Pennsylvania food for your buffet, look no further! Jen was prepared with all of the information that we needed and walked us through the selection process. We are so excited to be working with SEI Catering and can't wait to have them cater the wedding!

My husband and I hired SEI catering for our wedding day. They were amazing from the moment we met them. Our guests kept telling us how good the food was and my family was able to enjoy the leftovers(they allow you to keep!!!) the next day=) My husband and I and all of our guests were very pleased with the food and the service. I would definitely use sei for other events and I have already recommended them to friends for their wedding!

Sei really helped my husband and I when we were in a tight bind, 2 weeks before the wedding. The service was great and we didnt have to call them a bunch of times to keep in touch with them. We had well over 20lbs. of food and we were able to send some home to our family and freeze some for us. Caesar salad was AMAZING

SEI came through, receiving TONS of compliments from our guests. We still hear people telling us about our food! Our initial meeting with them was very nice. They have a lot of options for food and table settings. They can meet many different price ranges. They took REALLY great care of our head table! The best thing about SEI is, even though it's a buffet (that we had), they packed up ALL of the leftovers for us and sent them home so that we have lots of meals as newlyweds. It was so nice and the food freezes great!

At our first visit to Sei's, we were very impressed with their professionalism.
At our second visit, we sampled the food and were blown away!! We had their chicken cordon bleu, ham, mashed and scalloped potatoes. Everything was excellant, we received SO many compliments. Thanks Again!

We had an evening wedding with a wide array of Hors D'oeuvres like fruit and vegetable trays, Italian meatballs, quiche, chicken cordon bleu, chips and pretzels, and various hot and cold drinks, and ice cream to serve with our cake. They also happened to work with our cake lady so they cut and served our cake and returned the cake trays to her so we didn't have to worry about it. They are family owned, friendly and professional.

Great food at a great price!

My husband and I hired SEI Catering for our wedding in mid June 2022 at Hertzog Homestead. We had a great experience doing our tasting, and they were very accommodating and professional the day of. 1-2 months to the wedding day, there was not much communication which lead to deposits being late and some details being worked out last minute. There were no late fees or hard feelings, but as a bride it was a little stressful! Other than that minor detail, everything was great. The food was very good, and all of our guests thought so as well. There was a variety of food options for us to pick, and as I said previously, our tasting experience was positive and professional. Being able to have china at a venue that typically uses disposables was a HUGE plus for me. On top of all that, the pricing was really reasonable! I would definitely recommend SEI to anyone planning an event or wedding.

Great service

Working with SEI Catering was one of the best choices we could have made for our wedding. Not only is the food delicious, priced great, and wonderful staff but SEI was very accommodating when it came to a few hiccups with our venue. Jennifer did everything she had to in order to make sure they were approved for the venue and supplied all necessary items. The menu is extensive and for the price you get a large amount of food. Everyone loved the it and I would highly recommend them to anyone else. Thank you so much for everything!

Jenn at SEI Catering was SO great to work with! She was responsive in answering all of my questions as I planned my wedding, and she was friendly and flexible. SEI definitely goes above and beyond in the service they provide and the quality of their food. I can still taste the mac and cheese, beef brisket, and pulled pork:). You won't be able to beat the value either! I would recommend this caterer to anyone planning a special event of any kind...in a HEARTBEAT!

I can only say what we experienced but their set-up, their service and their food totally complimented our setting! Plates were empty and bellies were full with food to spare. No worries about running out of food. 3 people there to set-up, transition from appetizer to meal to dessert with one refilling water glasses as each table went up to get their food. We had a barn wedding and a buffet meal and were totally satisfied. Their meals even included dessert which most others don't do. Very reasonably priced (and I did compare) and the food was yummy! I do recommend them for your catering needs.

SEI was great! Everyone still talks about how amazing the food was (especially the roast beef!). They also were great about letting you do a tasting to choose what to serve and they accommodated a vegetarian we had. I was a little concerned when five days before the wedding I got a confirmation email and half of the details were wrong (such a tablecloths, dessert, etc.), but I emailed back and got the information corrected. Overall, everything went very well and the food was AMAZING!

We chose SEI Catering because they had the best prices for a picnic style menu. We were greatly suprised that you don't always get what you pay for, sometimes you get more! The food was fantastic and everyone raved about the the pork barbeque. The ladies who worked at my reception were extreamly helpful and accomodating. Everything ran super smoothly and was delishious.
They ere very flexible about set up times, considering my venue had somewhat restricted hours. Everyone at their company was very friendly and flexible.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for great food and a great value.

Yum Yum Yum! The food was delicious and was a huge hit! Everyone just loved the food! The staff was amazing and very professional. They are a little slow to respond with e-mails but they do respond and will respond quicker to phone calls. i would use them again in a heart beat!

Won't find a better caterer for the price. Some of the better catered food out there, plenty of compliments on the roast beef. Very friendly and easy to work with!

The food was exceptional! Our guests were very pleased and the Chicken Cordon Bleu was the star of the menu. Two thumbs up!

We received no complaints at all about our wedding food, people really loved the coleslaw and brisket. SEI is affordable and so yummy!

The food was absolutely delicious and the owners were great! We made them a one stop shop after tasting the food, one and done! Very friendly and easy to work with! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food for amazing prices!

We had about 90 guests or so at our wedding. The price is invaluable. The food, was absolutely delicious. I have never heard so many compliments about wedding food in my life. I actually had one guest say it was the first wedding he's ever been to where the food didn't taste like garbage. They were on time, and they worked well with my tent company to set up the night before. That being said, if you email them, they take forever to respond back, also the contact form on the website wasn't working when I tried to fill it out several times. Some days I'd get a reply within the same week, other times I'd have to email multiple times. When I called though, they did answer, it's just emailing they seem to have a problem with. I also wasn't given full details of what they needed from me. I rented my linens from them, and it wasn't until the WEEK before my wedding they asked if 3 of my linens were for the buffet and if I had 3 tables for the buffet. I had no idea they needed their own tables, nor did I know I had to rent the extra linens. I ended up doing so, but it added more to my bill, one week before my wedding, so I had no choice but to pony up the extra money or have bare tables. I was told they liked everything to look uniform, so that was their nice way of basically telling me I had to get the extra linens. I also didn't like that at 8 pm (dinner was served around 6) that they started taking off ALL of my linens, they were pushing my centerpieces all onto ONE table (they were candles, and my guests were STILL at the wedding!) and they were blowing my centerpieces out. So my tables started to look like crap and my centerpieces were in a pile on one table. My maid of honor stopped them, but she says she got some attitude from the head caterer about how they linens HAD to be back by Monday. I was NEVER told they were going to take the linens away ASAP. Luckily, one of their younger workers stayed behind and I think he took the linens around 10 pm (most of the guests were gone by then) That being said, the food and the price was fantastic. Everything else, is at your own risk really.

We had a nice meal and they did a good job. Was just upset because drink and apetiziers were not ready when cermony was over. It was an outside wedding and it was warm.

Overall, I was very pleased with SEI. The prices was right and the food was tasty. I liked that they sent all the food home with you. It's in our freezer (because I hate to waste) and we are eating it for meals here and there.
There were a few things that concerned me such as they were hard to get a hold of and they didn't serve coffee with the cake like they were supposed to, but it wasn't a big deal. The only thing I recommend is that you line someone up to clear the tables. They will tell you people do it themselves, but at my wedding, they didn't Fortunately, my family helped out, clearing away the dirty plates, etc.
