Authentic, Dedicated Photography You Will Love!
I chose not to have a videographer for my wedding, and had it covered only by photography. I sit here now, barely two weeks out from my wedding, already enjoying my entire wedding photo gallery from these amazing photographers that captured every detail as if they were using video recorders instead! Not only did they guarentee quick turn around on my photos (I think their words were "before you're back from your honeymoon") but the quality of work speaks for itself in the photos. They were such an joy to work with- often splitting up to cover ground and their easy banter with each other puts you right at ease when they're pointing those big cameras at you. I will never be able to thank them enough for making our day so special, and I'll enjoy it with their photos for the rest of our days. -

There are so many things we could say about the wonderful way you expressed our day through photos. You were there early, were able to capture all of the moments we requested, ended up getting moments even we didn't get to see, and helped us capture memories that will live with us forever. Seeing Southern Photography was unbelievably amazing! Picking a photographer to capture your special moments, especially your wedding, is a stressful decision. Being on a budget I was very worried about finding photographers in my price range that would capture my big day in its entirety. Seeing Southern Photography went above and beyond my expectations, I truly felt like I won the lottery with Len and Judy. If you are at all stressed about your event do yourself a favor and let Seeing Southern be your photographers and have one less thing to be stressed about.
Communication was a breeze with them. They are wonderful about scheduling times to chat around their schedule and yours. Len and Judy are two wonderful people that want to make sure they are capturing what you want. They ask great questions to get a feel for what is special to you and to make sure you get what you want. The online platforms they use for your prints and communication are so well put together and easy to access.
When our wedding day finally came everyone that was in the wedding party was nervous including me and the groom. Once Len and Judy arrived, they put everyone at ease. They are so kind and have a great sense of humor. Not only do they give great direction they make you feel like you have known them forever. They keep everyone laughing so you get real smiles. Even our flower girl, who was two, was having a blast with them. I was so happy that they were a part of my special day that I asked them to sign the guest book.
Today it is easy to forget that photography is an art form. Anyone one can snap a photo and post it to social media. Once you receive your photos from Seeing Southern Photography you will be reminded that good photography is an Art. Len and Judy captured everything I wanted but also gave me pictures of things that I would have never imagined. I will cherish these photos and heirlooms forever. They truly have an artistic eye and leave you going “wow”.
My husband is a wedding caterer and I have been a bridesmaid in three weddings. We both have never had an experience this amazing with photographers. Len and Judy are great at what they do. They take wonderful photos and bring magic with them. They truly care about their clients and try to help wherever they can. Any time in the future that we will need photographers I will be going back to them. Seeing Southern Photography is an all-around amazing experience, and I am so blessed to have found them.

We met Len and Judy at Lilly Creeks Vendor Expo in 2021, we knew we chose the right photographers immediately! They made us feel like family, and they really cared about giving us a great experience. Len and Judy were AMAZING! From start to finish it was an incredible process. Having two photographers instead of one made for such an unbelievable photo experience on my wedding day, as they were able to capture moments that a solo photographer otherwise would never have been able to get. They truly understand the vibe of a couple almost instantly and they work with you to make such a special day come to life on film. The photos are absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for a better team and I have already recommended them to other friends of mine who are getting married. -

Amazing Artists & Storytellers
Judy & Len were hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding. After seeing many examples online of stiff, unnaturally-posed couples with instagram-esque filtering, Seeing Southern was a breath of fresh air. We had other photographers ask what our "theme" for our photos was (moody & dark, dramatic, light & airy, etc)...but we just wanted good photos. Something that we wouldn't look back in 20 years and say "woah! what were we thinking??". With Seeing Southern, we got more than we could have possibly expected. Not only is their photography truly timeless, but they took time to get to know us as a couple and were able to capture who we are in ways we didn't know were possible. Many of their posts talk about being storytellers and I can't think of a better way to describe them. They told our story better than we ever could, without saying a word. Although, Judy wrote some things in our sneak peeks that still make me tear up - in the absolute best way.
Neither my husband nor I had ever done a professional photo shoot before, so having an engagement session included in our wedding package was an unexpected blessing. Judy and Len taught us some tricks for posing, but I never thought about it after the first 5 minutes. It felt like we were hanging out with good friends in fancy clothes. The engagement session made us both a lot more comfortable in front of the camera and with our photographers, the pictures were incredible, and it prepared us for wedding photos more than Pinterest ever could.
As for the wedding day itself, I personally don't know what we would have done without Judy and Len. They helped us create our original wedding day timeline (which was a lifesaver in itself since we had no idea where to start!) and adjusted that timeline seamlessly as things went awry in other areas. Judy kept me calm and collected during the most stressful moments of the day and even helped my MOH wrap my bouquet. Thanks to the engagement session, we were totally comfortable with Judy & Len during wedding photos. They made sure we got all the group shots we had planned during the shorter time slot, then we got to go "play" between the ceremony and reception. We had SO much fun doing tricks with my veil and the 70s convertible that a family friend let us borrow for the day. Some of the most consistent feedback we've gotten from our wedding from family and friends is how helpful they were, how much fun they were to have around, and how amazing the photos turned out.
I think what makes Judy and Len truly exceptional is the thing that is hardest to put into words - they call it "the in-between." When they tell you to pose a certain way or spin or dip or kiss, the pictures you'll treasure (and that make you friends and family say "wow!") aren't necessarily of the pose they asked you to do in that moment. Many of our favorites are of us laughing post-spin because I almost fell and my husband had to catch me. They'll tell you to suck in air before your lips touch for a "kiss" picture...well, I'm smiling in every single one because of the vacuum-like noise my husband would make. They also catch some of the best candids of moments that you may not expect or even get to see yourselves. There's a photo from right before our ceremony of my now-husband placing a framed picture of my mother, who passed away long before he came into my life, onto her reserved-in-memory chair, which just melts my heart every time I see it. I was standing nearby when it was taken and probably handed him the frame myself, but I never would have thought to ask for a picture of that moment. To have someone you've only met once be able to tell what is going to mean the most to you in the midst of wedding chaos, that's a quality that can only come with love for your clients and passion for your craft. It's something that is certainly hard to find, harder to name, and impossible to quantify.
To say that Judy and Len go above and beyond for their clients would be an understatement to say the least. They treated us like family from the very beginning and we could not be more grateful. To any future brides or grooms, please, do not miss out on this amazing duo. I can guarantee you'll get two amazing artists to tell your love story, but even better, you might just make two lifelong friends along the way. -

We did our engagement and wedding photos with Seeing Southern Photography and we are so glad we did! Len and Judy know what it takes to get a good shot and they will do anything to get it. They are fun and creative while letting your personalities shine in the photos. We brought a champagne bottle to our engagement shoot and took photos popping that, which continued with PHENOMENAL champagne photos at the wedding. They do quick work--they get the shots that they need to get and they don’t keep you captive to their timeline. It’s your day, and they let you enjoy it! Not to mention the turnaround to get the photos is incredibly reasonable; within a month, we had a thousand images of the day! They captured our day perfectly and we will treasure the moments forever, from my mom’s reaction to my dress to all the dancing at the reception. Working with them through planning eased our fears so much because we knew we could count on their expert wedding knowledge. We can’t wait to decorate our home with all these gorgeous shots and share them with our friends and family. Thank you for all you did for us, Len and Judy! -

Absolutely Wonderful!
Len and Judy were an absolute joy and we are so glad they captured our engagement photos and wedding photos. Their expertise and fun attitudes took a big weight off our shoulders on the big day. They made great effort getting to know us and what we wanted. They captured so many moments that we would have completely missed if it weren’t for them. All of the photos are incredible and we received so many high quality photos. They did a wonderful job capturing our whole wedding day and we will cherish their work for years to come!

Len and Judy of Seeing Southern Photography are such amazing people and such wonderful photographers! They made the entire experience of planning for our big day so smooth and effortless. From our fun engagement shoot down by the river to our wedding and reception. They are extremely personable and make everyone feel at ease. I don’t even remember seeing them at the wedding reception as they just blended in with all of our guests and were able to get some amazing shots. I can’t wait to see the full gallery of photos taken during our big day.
We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional photographers for an event or family photos. -

Len and Judy are Wonderful!
We chose to select Len and Judy as our wedding photographers because they were so personable and made me feel incredibly comfortable just chatting with them at the wedding expo, so I knew they would help me relax during actual photos (I'm a little camera shy). Their photos are not the super dramatic and are a more natural look (more my style but less my husbands), but they worked with us to get some of the more "dramatic" color contrasts and lighting shots my husband was looking for too. They were incredibly responsive to all of my questions and helped guide the timeline and make sure we hit all the major photos we wanted on our special day. Overall they were fantastic and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for beautiful, natural photos from a genuine couple that can help make things look more natural and less staged and make everyone comfortable in front of the camera! -
