We had a wonderful experience with Sedona Golf Resort. The venue was beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing and they did a great job with the event, the staff were very on top of everything the entire day and everything ran so smoothly. Caite was very helpful throughout the entire process and all our guests loved the venue! -

You will not be disappointed with Sedona Golf Resort - their service, food, staff, venue, etc. is all amazing. We planned our wedding without even seeing the venue because we were out of state and Caite eased our minds by sending photos and being there every step of the way with our questions. She truly made our vision come to life. Javier was our day of coordinator and was so sweet and accommodating. Our wedding day went perfect thanks to SGR. Book this venue, you be happy you did. Our guests are still raving about the food. -

Absolutely lovely our experience getting married at the Sedona Golf Resort. Caite was accommodating, supportive, and the entire team supported us in making our dreams come true. We had a very involved team of family members and friends to support with aspects and fine details, and Sedona Golf Resort saw no problem in making sure everyone was comfortable for our eclectic needs. The drink package was easy to set up, the food was impeccable (and the absolute cherry on top was the chef recreating a family recipe in the meal!)
Clean up the next day was laid back and easy. We picked up our items with ease. Javier was AMAZING for dress rehearsal. He understood and supported our requests and made sure everything was seamless.
Our only note is for queer couples- the suites are inside of the men's and women's restrooms so one of you will get the suite inside the restroom and the other may be in the closet (they did their best to place coverings on things, dress it up, and still offered a getting ready cocktail to both of us but of course there's only so much you can do to make it not feel like a closet.) If the bathroom/suite situation could be made more accessible to all, this place would be perfect.
It was beautiful, easy, and extremely supportive. We highly recommend! -

Sedona Golf Resort, the most beautiful venue
Sedona Golf Resort was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception! The whole staff was amazing from start to finish and made the whole process stress free! They're super accommodating and willing to help however possible. Food and drinks were amazing! Also love that they're dog friendly and our dog was able to be there on our special day. The views from the venue are fantastic! It's a great location because you get the amazing Sedona Views without getting stuck in Sedona traffic. The staff recommended great hotel accommodations and restaurants nearby as well. They completely got our vision and setup all the decor as we envisioned. Cannot say enough great things about this venue! -

Sedona Golf Resort did an AMAZING job with hosting our wedding in October 2025! Caite is super fun to work with and was very patient with our many questions throughout the wedding planning process. She helped tremendously with the table layout as well as the hashing out of the reception details.
Dana, our day-of wedding coordinator, was also 10/10 fantastic. She brought all the notes with her to our rehearsal and confirmed all the setup details with us to make sure everything's set up the way we wanted it. She also took great care of our decor items as many of them are fragile and sentimental stuffed animals. What really touched me was that after Dana packed up everything for us at the end of the reception, she left one stuffed animal out as I'd told her that I couldn't sleep without having one in my arms when I sleep. :') Her patience with answering all our questions also helped relieve our anxiety on our big day.
The tables and centerpieces were also set up perfectly. The SGR team really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best night of our lives! The team is all very professional. Needless to say, food was delicious and drinks used high quality alcohol as well. All our guests had a great time and we cannot recommend it more to future couples! -

We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding than Sedona Golf Resort. From the moment we began planning, the team was attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful — they truly went above and beyond to make our day seamless. So many little touches were included and we didn’t have to lift a finger. They put in efforts during rehearsal and the wedding day that made the day feel perfect.
The breathtaking red rock views provided the perfect backdrop, and our guests could not stop raving about both the scenery and the food. Speaking of food — it was beyond a 10/10! Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. -

Not only is Sedona Golf Resort a beautiful place to get married, but the WHOLE staff is above and beyond. Especially Caite and Magdalena. They were amazing from the beginning, they made us feel comfortable and supported, and we truly appreciated their constant communication, flexibility (especially with the weather- it rained and snowed on our wedding day in April!), and calm presence throughout the entire process. The day ran so smoothly thanks to their hard work and organization. We’re so grateful for everything they guys did for us. -

Jackie, Magdalena, and the entire team at Sedona Golf Resort could not have given us a more fantastic wedding. After we got engaged in Sedona in January 2024, I dreamed of holding our wedding in the same gorgeous place. However, I feared we wouldn’t be able to find a venue available in 2024. We met with Jackie in February and were able to snag a September (Saturday) date just seven months away! It then began a busy period of preparation with our tight timeline, but Jackie was fantastic at keeping us on track the entire way. She walked us through menu options and seating charts, and handled small details so I could focus on the other planning work. I was so grateful to have her and the resort’s support. They took so much work off my plate, including having their own restaurant and day-of-coordinator. When it came time to the day of the ceremony, Magdalena, our day-of-coordinator, was incredible. She kept everyone and everything in place and on time the entire night, allowing me and my family to savor the special day. Words can not express how grateful I am for this team. And of course, the views at the venue are stunning. For the bride wanting a beautiful wedding and a great team to support her, you truly couldn’t pick a better place! -

Beautiful Sedona Wedding
Out of state bride, appreciated the ease of working with a vendor that was experienced in wedding venues. We picked a package, provided the decor, cake, DJ, photographer and seating chart and the golf resort handled all other details. They kept the event on time despite a storm that passed through at wedding time. The red rocks in the back drop made for a memorable ceremony and great photos! The guests loved the event and the quality of food. Thank you SGR for a beautiful venue and thank you to the staff for a wedding that exceeded all expectation. Highly recommend. -

Jackie, Magdalena, and the entire team at Sedona Golf Resort were absolutely spectacular. From the moment we signed the contract, their kindness and professionalism were evident. One thing that really stood out was their refreshing approach to pricing; they weren't penny-pinchers like some other venues we considered or heard about from friends. This, along with the fact that Sedona Golf Resort is one of the few places in Sedona that can comfortably accommodate over 125 guests, made our decision easy. Despite being a large venue, it's surprisingly affordable, and they were incredibly flexible with our specific requests, like holding off on shots until after dinner.
We hosted our wedding ceremony, reception, and farewell brunch at the Sedona Golf Resort, and the staff exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Jackie was a dream to work with, always responding to emails within a day and keeping me on track with planning. She provided timely updates on the food and beverage details and helped me stay organized with deadlines for appetizers, menu selections, signature drinks, florals, DJ, and more. I initially questioned whether I needed a wedding planner, but Jackie and the team made everything so seamless that I realized they were right—I didn’t need one.
Magdalena, our day-of coordinator, was incredible. She managed every detail with precision and made me feel at ease throughout the day. One of the most memorable moments was when she bustled my dress in less than three minutes—a task that took my family more than ten during practice! Her experience and expertise shone through, whether it was coordinating over 25 people for the rehearsal, fixing small issues like relocating the cake when it seemed unstable, or ensuring that my husband and I could sample all three cake flavors. Every instruction I gave was executed perfectly, and the team even elevated my vision to something more beautiful than I had imagined.
For any bride considering Sedona for their wedding, Sedona Golf Resort is a top-notch choice. The venue’s beauty is undeniable, and the photos we took just 10 minutes away at Bell Rock Pathway were breathtaking—exactly what I envisioned for our day.
A word of advice: if you're taking photos off-site, bring umbrellas, paper towels, and water, especially if your wedding is in a warm month like ours was in August. It is a 5-10 minute easy walk (I did it in my heels) to beautiful photos at Bell Rock. The remaining photos we took at the resort were equally stunning.

Best day ever!
I would highly highly recommend having your wedding at Sedona Golf Resort. I cannot say enough good things about it. They made the entire day amazing. It ran so smoothly, and I was so relaxed as a mother of the Bride. I knew exactly what I needed to bring and exactly what was going to be included. Communication was amazing both before and day of.

I got married here May 11, 2024 and I could write a novel how amazing our experience was at SGR. My husband and I (and all of our guests) are in awe of how fantastic everything was. I want to give Jackie and Magdalena a huge shoutout because these ladies are INCREDIBLE and every bride should be lucky enough to work with a duo like these two when planning their dream wedding. Jackie and Magdalena made sure everything went off without a hitch and some (not just on the wedding day, but for months of planning as well), extremely helpful and kind, professional and knowledgeable in their work, and the list goes on. From helping me with vendors to helping me plan the smallest details to even just making sure I had a drink in my hand, Jackie and Magdalena are the best! You will get the highest level of service at SGR, hands down!
I am still getting texts from our guests about how the food was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding — it was absolutely delicious and you can’t go wrong with any selections. The bar and serving staff were very friendly and kind as well.
I can’t emphasize enough how grateful I am for this experience — between the level of service and support to the food to the beautiful venue details to the scenery, I can’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. I would highly recommend having any wedding here from a large crowd, small elopement, or at the bare minimum a rehearsal dinner/welcome party. This venue and its people will not disappoint! -

Jackie was the main contact while I was planning the wedding, we live in Illinois and booked the venue on a whim without seeing or speaking in person to anyone! Jackie never made me feel like I was asking silly or too many questions and ALWAYS answered right away. We got married here in November and it was the perfect wedding. Having Katie and Jackie help with the planning in the months leading to the wedding was extremely helpful. They answered all my questions and made the planning actually easy! Magdalena was the person the day of who made the day go so seamlessly. She was so wonderful assuring we were on schedule and that we had everything we needed. And the food was absolutely amazing. All my friends and family raved about how great everything was.

We are from Montana and decided to get married in Sedona Arizona. Without even seeing the venue, we chose the Sedona golf resort. As nerve-racking as it might be not knowing what things will look like until you get there for your wedding I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jackie was so hands on and answered all of my emails. She was so detailed and attentive. Her and the staff made my vision come to life. They all were so kind and genuine. There is truly nothing better than being able to show up knowing everything is set up and taken care for you. All we had to do was just enjoy our wedding day. Our wedding was absolutely PERFECT! We can't say enough wonderful things about the SGR and definitely can't imagine our wedding anywhere else. We live in a different state and having Katie by our side answering all questions and being available for us was a godsend. She really went above and beyond helping us pick out vendors and guiding us to create the most magical day of our lives. We were elated on how everything turned out from decor down to the food. The food was incredible! Everyone was raving about it and they just wanted more. The wedding coordinator Magdalena was also a standout! She was so very sweet, hard working and helped make sure we were well taken care of. Katie and Magdalena are a super team you NEED for your wedding! They set up all our decor exactly the way we wanted and it was just gorgeous. We heard from multiple people how our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. We can't thank SGR enough for all the effort they put in making sure we had nothing to worry about for our big day. 5/5 stars! It truly was the best decision to have our wedding here. It will now always be our special place and we can't wait to come back. We love the SGR and will be coming back to visit whenever we are in Sedona. -

Best wedding venue!
Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Everything went perfect. We had a blast. We do not have enough wonderful things to say about Sedona Golf Resort and we are so happy we got to celebrate there. The decor and set up was amazing, Sedona Golf Resort and all the venders went above and beyond. I was speechless how pretty it was. The food was also outstanding. Everyone was saying how yummy the salmon and steak and chicken were. The wedding coordinator Magdalena was such a sweetheart and helped me every step of the way always making sure I was well taken care of, on top of the wonderful bartenders. Magdalena always made sure I had a drink, my dress was bustled, I had my phone and got plenty of pictures. They set up all our decor exactly the way we wanted. I also loved the special touch of serving the bridal party our signature drinks as a suprise right after the ceremony (martinis and Moscow mules). Thank you again. 5/5 stars! I Thank you to Katie also the director, who responded to my emails so quickly and helped me plan the wedding over the year. Best decision to have our wedding here. Whenever we come back to Sedona we will make sure to stop by for lunch or dinner. -

Had the wedding of our dreams at Sedona Golf Resort last weekend! Katie, who serves as Director of Events at SGR, is an added bonus when you book this venue as she more or less fills the role of wedding planner. She answered every email I sent her (and there were a lot) immediately, even while out on maternity leave and made my planning process for an out of state wedding so much easier!
Want to give a special shout-out to Magdalena, who is the Banquet Manager, and served as our day of coordinator in place of Katie who normally does wedding day coordinating as well but was unavailable the week of our wedding. Magdalena made everything ran seamlessly on our wedding day from doing event set up to setting up bride/grooms suites and coordinating me and my wedding part as we walked down the aisle to our songs. She also made sure that every drink that was served to our guests had our custom drink stirrers with our dog on them, which was so special to me, made sure my husband and I were well fed during that busy day, and most importantly made sure we always had a drink in our hand!
We just can’t say enough amazing things about SGR. The views for the outdoor ceremony are unbeatable as well as the views from the reception area of the red rocks through the floor to ceiling windows that sit right behind the dance floor. All of our friends who traveled from out of state told us it was their favorite wedding they’ve been to. Everything from the food to the bar service was top notch. We did buffet style for dinner and all of our guests loved our food selection. The ones they raved the most about where the coconut shrimp, the stuffed mushrooms, steak skewers, and crab cakes!
The best part of this venue is that it’s kind of a one stop shop for vendors which means you don’t have to also worry about shopping around for catering and bar service because it’s all just part of the package at SGR. In addition, all the other vendors that they have on their recommended list are top notch and they all work incredibly well together which makes the whole process run super smooth. Katie’s recommendations led us to our amazing photographer, DJ, florist, cake baker, hotels, and even rehearsal dinner space!
10/10 would recommend! -

Sedona Golf Resort
Katie Cook, Sedona Golf Resorts wedding coordinator, is what every bride needs. I had been planning our wedding for almost two years due to Covid and she had been nothing but accommodating and helpful. Her email response time is less than 24 hours which is unheard of! The day of wedding, she made sure all the vendors showed up on time and made everything perfect. The staff was so sweet and helpful. They made sure our glasses and tummies were full. The appetizers and dinner was so yummy everyone I can’t say enough good things about SGR. -

Beautiful views and great service
Sedona Golf Resort is a beautiful and well-managed wedding venue. We had a wonderful time at our wedding in September 2020, which was postponed from our original date in April 2020. You never think you'll have to cancel (or postpone) your wedding date. Then a global pandemic happens. Right away, Katie offered us new dates and helped talk us through our options. She followed all the government rules she needed to, and by the time September 2020 rolled around, covid restrictions allowed us to have 50% venue capacity which was way better than nothing! Katie was very responsive from the beginning--and helped answer many questions that a wedding planner would. We met with her twice after booking the venue and were able to try some of the food before finalizing our menu. Katie worked hand-in-hand with our vendors to ensure a smooth wedding day, and I have absolutely no complaints on communication, overall pricing (which was very average/fair by the way), food, set-up, or flow of event.
My only hiccup was I was not expecting my guests to drink as much as they did. I guess that's what happens when people stay home for six months. So, my only advice to future brides and grooms is to budget extra for the bar (you get back what you don't spend in most cases) and be sure to think about if you want guests to be able to order shots/doubles. It can be hectic to make decisions about increasing the bar tab night of, so maybe set a top line limit for yourself. Guests can always pay for their drinks once the limit is met.
Otherwise, I highly recommend SGR hence the 5-star review. Katie, Scott, Mags, Jeanette, and the other staff were very pleasant to work with and all of my guests have been raving about the event with the beautiful red rock background. -

My now husband and I chose Sedona Golf resort because of the obvious competence, professionalism, great pricing and delicious food. Katie our coordinator who heads SGR weddings was absolutely fantastic- and it didn’t stop there. Her ENTIRE team and wait staff went above and beyond. This experience was made as stress free as absolutely possibly by the SGR team. A whole hearted thank you for making this experience so special and keeping it that way the entire time. Might I add, Katie had a baby in the middle of the process but we were never left alone! She and her team were always responsive and helpful. The wedding experience from start to end was flawless. We had our wedding here in October and could NOT have been happier with the way everything turned out! As stated in previous posts, Katie is amazing! She is sweet, patient, helpful and knowledgable! She alone made this whole process so easy! Personally, I didn’t even need a wedding plan we outside of her and I didn’t feel as though I even needed one at any point! The Venue itself is gorgeous and no one regretted the flights and drives to get to this amazing location. Additionally, everyone remarked on how good the food way (we did the buffet option #2). If I had to do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing! The only caveat is that the Open bar tab was quite expensive bc you have to pay per drink and apparently our friends drink way more than we anticipated :) (Sedona doesn’t allow drink packages so this is the case for any venue up there - not just Sedona Golf Resort) -

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Sedona Golf Resort as our wedding venue! I grew up spending my summers in Sedona, but currently live out of state, so I knew the area well but was planning completely from out-of-state. We booked the venue in January of 2018 sight unseen, and didn't visit until September of that year. Katie Draxler, the wedding coordinator at SGR, was incredible to work with, even at a distance. She was always happy to answer questions, and provided helpful feedback when needed. After my first phone call with Katie I felt very comfortable planning from over 2,000 miles away with her running the whole operation! Our wedding day was completely beyond anything my husband and I could have ever dreamed of. I was a fairly hands-off bride, so the success of the wedding was really owed to Katie and our vendors! Everything at SGR ran very smoothly from the ceremony to the last dance (I also recommend Rob Godridge for photos, and JH Soundscapes for DJ - he kept the party dancing all night long!). The food was AMAZING!!!! We had several very picky foodies in the crowd, and they couldn't stop raving about the food, especially the beef tenderloin (but literally everything on the menu received high compliments from everybody). The bar also was a huge hit. The location itself was incredibly beautiful, where our guests could enjoy the stunning views during the ceremony as well as inside during dinner through the gorgeous big windows of the reception area. The space in the reception area worked really well also, where most of our guests were dancing and it didn't feel too crowded or too empty. More than 90% of our ~120 guests travelled to our wedding from out-of-state, and they were all telling us afterwards how happy they were that they came, and how much fun they had at our wedding at the SGR! We loved our wedding at SGR, and couldn't be more grateful to Katie and her team for making our wedding truly one of the best days of our lives. -

Stephanie Sent on 07/28/2018I can distinctly remember the first time I went to Sedona with my husband and I remember telling him as we were walking around Sedona and hiking that day that when we got married this is where I wanted it to be. 2 years after that day we made the definitive decision to make it happen. We talked and visited quite a few places in Sedona and it was starting to look like we were not going to be able to find something in a reasonable price range for our wedding. We met with Katie at Sedona Golf Resort and I fell in love immediately and what made it even better was that they were reasonably priced for what you receive with them! Katie was very forthcoming about everything from the contract to what is provided by the golf resort. That day we went home, discussed it, signed our contract, sent over the deposit, and made it official and it was the best decision we could have made.
Sedona Golf Resort is beyond beautiful. There are wonderful views and Katie is absolutely amazing to work with leading up to your big day. I have so many emails going back and forth with Katie leading up to the day of our wedding and she was always so responsive, understanding, and knowledgeable about everything. We could not have asked for a better place for our wedding and we both are so grateful that we were able to get married there. Just so you know they do have a preferred vendor list (which every venue has so that should not surprise anyone) and that is where we got our wonderful photographer, florist, and DJ, but we did choose a minister, bakery, and ceremony and cocktail music band that was not on their list and Katie was very accommodating and accepting of that!

The location and views were perfect, the hotels next door were awesome, and everyone at the Golf Resort made us feel like royalty. Katie Draxler, Director of Events, was so incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. She walked us through every step of the planning process, was open and honest and so helpful! (Everyone needs a Katie on their wedding day ladies!)
The wedding day went so smoothly and Katie helped coordinate the set up of everything. The food was AWESOME! The rest of the staff and servers were great as well!
Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about the Sedona Golf Resort! If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue, convenient location for you and all of your guests, great food, and fantastic service, this place is for you!

From the beginning planning stages through the end Katie was absolutely incredible with helping us by answering every question we had, helping us to think about the details we wanted, and being incredibly attentive on the day of the wedding. If you're looking for a venue that not only has an incredible view/location, but also an amazing person to guide you and help you with every detail, then Sedona Golf Resort is your place!

She was great from the beginning when we were just touring up until the very end! Katie made it easy for me to plan a wedding from afar. The view is stunning, the food was great and the service was fantastic. And we were told from many of our guests that it was the best wedding they've ever been to! -

Courtney Sent on 03/18/2015I am not really sure where to begin or how to find the words to express my gratitude for Katie, Brian, and the other helpful staff at SGR. From the very beginning when we booked over venue Katie went above and beyond to answer our questions thoroughly in a timely manner. Katie also made the very stressful task of wedding planning almost stress free for both of us! When we finally got to the day of the wedding, when we got to see how everything was set up it was well beyond our expectations and Katie was there EVERY step of the way to guide us. The staff did everything to make not only the entire bridal party but all of our guests feel comfortable. Our guests are still raving to us about how exceptional the food was and not only that- we were able to do all of this within our budget! I know we could not have picked a better place to have our ceremony and reception. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking to book in Sedona. Everything about this location is perfect- the views, the venue is beautiful inside and out, and Katie+ the entire staff will bend over backwards to make your big day that much more special. Thank you SGR for such an amazing experience!
