Claudia is amazing! I reached out to her and she was nothing but kind, sweet and very responsive! At my appointment, she was very sweet and made sure my mother and I understood how to do certain things! Above all, her work is amazing! The attention to detail and work done to my dress was absolutely astonishing! It fit beautifully but was also comfortable! Can't recommend Claudia enough ❤️ -

Claudia is comfortable, professional, and incredibly talented. When I purchased my wedding dress I did not imagine how much more I would love it until Claudia began her alterations. She transformed THE dress into MY dress. I felt so beautiful and well taken care of at every appointment. She is honest, knowledgeable, and the best by far. I'd trust her over and over again. I had a destination wedding and although I live in Maryland my mom and sister live in the Midlothian area and I found her! My dress required a lot of alterations and her professionalism and attention to detail made it so easy. You could not tell that my dress was altered in any way shape or form. She is a rock star! Thank you for making my dress fit my curves. I felt like a queen! -

Claudia is the BEST!
Claudia was a dream to work with! Her home studio is so calming and clean, and she really gets to know her brides. She made my dress even better than it was when I bought it. She understood the small imperfections that I wanted to cover up, and even recommended the perfect shapewear for my dress. By my last appointment all I kept saying was "I feel like a princess!" and I was so sad taking the dress off. I highly recommend Claudia for your wedding dress alterations, you won't regret it!! -

Claudia is a magic worker!!
Claudia was so fantastic to work with! She came recommended by the store where I bought my wedding dress and I am so glad! She was so friendly and made me feel so confident throughout our fittings!! My dress had extensive detailing at the bottom where it needed to be hemmed but Claudia knew exactly what to do, and also created the perfect bustle to show off the detailing!! Something I never would have thought of. My dress ended up fitting and looking absolutely perfect!!! -

Claudia is incredible at what she does! I went into dress shopping knowing I would never get a strapless dress because I didn't want to worry about fixing it all night long. After I fell in love with this dress the boutique directed me to Seams, knowing all of my fears of a strapless dress would go away with how well Claudia does her work. They were 100% correct and I never thought about adjusting my dress all night because the alterations were that good! The bustle even stayed in place after hours of dancing! I cannot thank Claudia enough for making this dress fit better than I ever could have imagined, she is the best! -

Claudia is INCREDIBLE! She talked with the boutique I got my dress from to help assist in ordering my correct size to assist in making sure the alterations for my specific dress would work perfectly. She also worked with my different jackets and accessories to help style my dress. She is phenomenal and would highly recommend her to anyone needing alterations for wedding dresses. -

Miracle Worker
Words can’t ever express how thankful I am for Claudia! When I bought my dress I was advised to buy it many sizes to large. When the dress came in it wouldn’t even stay up without being clipped. It was a total nightmare. I didn’t believe anyone could fix this dress to the way it needed to be. It had a lot of detailing in the top and a lot of lace on the bottom. From my first fitting meeting with Claudia she helped put me at ease. She did major alterations from taking the dress in many sizes all over, doing a full hem over lace, doing a bra, rearranging the straps, to making the front panel so it wasn't see through. She also used her many years of experience to help me pick the right bustle for my dress that never broke all night! When I got my dress back on the second fitting I cried. She made it fit beyond perfect and did what I thought no one was going to be able to do! She made one of my most important wedding elements turn from a disaster to the most perfect dress for me! She was worth every dollar and more! You can trust her with your wedding dress stress free! -

Oh my goodness one of the BEST decision I made during wedding planning. Claudia is amazing. I was not an easy client, during my first fitting, after she had beautifully pinned my dress for alterations, exactly as I’d asked, I fainted. She was so sweet making sure I didn’t feel embarrassed and also that I was ok. THEN when I later found out I was pregnant and had to have my dresses re-pinned, she was so accommodating. When alterations were complete both my ceremony and reception dress fit perfectly. I felt so beautiful and also felt that Claudia’s personality and workmanship sets her apart. -

Claudia was initially recommended to me by my mother-in-law (Claudia actually altered my husbands tux for his high school prom), so when the bridal salon also recommended her for my wedding dress alterations, I knew Seams Alterations was where I needed to go. Claudia is AMAZING. She immediately knew what needed to be altered on my dress, just by looking at it. When I finally put my dress on, after all the alterations were completed, on my wedding day, it was absolutely PERFECT, and I have Claudia to thank for that! There is no one better than Claudia and I cannot recommend her enough! -

Perfect Dress!
Claudia was amazing and made my dress exactly what I wanted it to be and more! She expertly placed an applique over an illusion slit I wasn't crazy about, and created the perfect most seamless bustle. The top fit so well and didn't slip once all night! She was so fun to work with and I'm so glad my friend recommended her. Very reasonably priced as well. Definitely use Claudia, you won't regret it! -

Claudia is absolutely amazing! She is so personable and caring! Because of COVID and my family living in NY it was only myself coming to my appointments. Claudia was so great and took a ton of photos each time I was with her so we could share them with my mom. Claudia's prices are fantastic, especially with all of the wonderful work she does. I thought my dress was sized well and there would be very little that would need to be fixed. On my first appointment Claudia pinned it and it immediately looked like a different dress. On my wedding day, everyone told me that the dress looked like it was made for me and that is thanks to Claudia! Thank you Claudia for everything! -

Claudia was extremely professional and her background in fashion allowed her to fine tone small details to make my dress fit perfectly. She even took the time to video tape how to bustle my dresser since my family couldn’t be there. Her prices are also extremely reasonable for all the work she puts in. Claudia is the absolute best! I heard about her through a friend and turns out, she did about 3 or 4 of my friends' wedding dresses! She was timely with the alterations, affordable and so sweet. My dress fit absolutely perfectly and she did the BEST bustle...I never thought people would notice but several people commented on how beautiful and not even noticeable it was! -

I can not say enough great things about Claudia. She is so skilled and was able to add sleeves to my dress and make it look exactly how I wanted. Her flexible schedule attracted me to her in the first place, but her skill and attention to detail will have me recommending her to all of my friends for years to come. She was able to fit me in for an unexpected last minute appointment before the wedding to adjust my dress after some unexpected weight loss. Not only is she knowledgeable, but she is so sweet and has very reasonable prices! -

Claudia made the alterations process a BREEZE. She is so sweet and makes you feel genuinely beautiful throughout each fitting. My dress was about two cup sizes two big in the chest with a lot of lace detail - I have no idea how she did it, but you would NEVER know that it had been altered. The dress fit me like a glove, and I am SO glad that I worked with Claudia. I drove from Williamsburg to see her in Short Pump, and I would recommend her to any bride! -

Claudia is amazing at what she does! She was not only sweet but also honest during the entire alterations process. During my very first fitting of my wedding dress (that I purchased about 8 months in advance), about 3 months before my wedding date, I let her know that I just found out I was expecting. I was absolutely terrified that I would have to give up my dream dress to accommodate my changing body due to my pregnancy. She set up a schedule for fittings and alterations that would work to make sure I was fitted correctly on the day of with my changing body. Claudia listened to my concerns about the fit and the parts that were most important to me, and my dress turned out absolutely perfectly on my wedding day. Thank you so much for saving my day, Claudia!!! -

Claudia is AMAZING! My daughter's dress was very low cut and we were not sure how a seamstress could fix it and make it look natural. Claudia immediately knew what to do - she fixed it perfectly and the altered dress looked like it came that way. I would definitely use her again!! -

So I loved, loved working with Claudia! She’s amazing at her job and will make you look fabulous. I had a moment where I saw my pictures from my bridals and absolutely hated my dress. It was really a horrible feeling. Claudia fixed my dress to fit me exactly how I wanted it to. She was willing and ready to change it again if I wanted her too, but, it turned out perfect! -
