Jenn's lovely design was exactly what I was looking for when I searched for invitations for my daughter's bridal shower. her designs are quite simple and elegant, but perfect.
the whole process was without a hitch and jenn was so responsive.
i cannot imagine a better experience.

I contacted Jenn at Seahorse Bend Press to customize my Scottish Castle destination wedding invitations. I thought our theme was challenging mainly because there were specific reasons why I did not want plaid or images of the castle. Jenn is a genius! She created the perfect invites that captured the theme and the tone of our wedding with creativity and flair. Jenn designed a beautiful Scottish thistle logo that we used for all of our corresponding pieces of stationary - which we loved.

It's your wedding. You want everything to be perfect. Your invitations will be perfect if you work with Seahorse Bend Press.

In addition, Jenn responds quickly to emails, she's super friendly to work with, very flexible, and carefully crafts your invites so you are thrilled with the outcome. You can't ask for a better stationer for your special day.

I cannot even put into words how wonderful Jenn is to work with and how fabulous her work is! My wedding invitations are exactly what I wanted but better. She was so helpful in listening to my vision and putting together the perfect collection. All her suggestions were so helpful and not at all pushy. She has a wonderful way of translating what you want and putting into the perfect invitation collection. Working with her you feel like you are working with a friend that you have known for years. She even moved up the production of the invites for me when the calligrapher needed additional time.

The collection itself is perfect from the invites, to the response card, festivities card, bag tags, rehearsal dinner invites. Everything Jenn did goes together as a beautiful cohesive collection but is distinct and couldn't fit our wedding any better

I will be telling everyone I know who needs invitations to work with Jenn. She was one of the best decisions we have made during wedding planning. If you want beautiful invitations and with no stress choose Seahorse Bend Press.

You should know three things prior to working with Seahorse Bend Press:

1. Your invited guests will comment on how fantastic the design/quality is.

2. You should purchase a frame to display your invitation set- because what will be created for you is truly art and should be featured in your home.

3. You will wish you lived closer to her, so when all is said is done, you can hug her.

I found Jenn's shop on Etsy and immediately knew her work was goregous; obviously. What I didn't know then was the countless time, energy, and care she puts into each design to make it special for you. She is inspired by your love and your vision for the day to create only the very best. I can't even begin to describe how touched I was to read her emails and look through her Pinterest boards and her creations - everything she does is filled with excitement for you and the amazing thing really is that she wants that for each of her clients.

I am so honored to have worked with someone that is not only extremely talented, but also kind. She definitely can not be replicated. Your special day deserves the quality and passion of Jenn Herrington.

Jenn was beyond accommodating. I am very picky (especially when it comes to stationary) and Jenn was very patient through everything. I took my time responding to her after each rendition of the invitation suite and she never once pressured me to speed up my decision making-this made the process a whole lot less stressful. Jenn went above and beyond to answer my questions and provide me with a variety of design choices. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her through this process!

I love my Vegas inspired wedding invitations and RSVP cards! Jenn is fantastic to work with and always replied to all of my emails quickly. Delivery was super quick, I'm from Melbourne, Australia so I was very impressed when I received them in 3 days. I highly recommend Seahorse Bend Press to anyone looking for quality invitations. Im surprised to read so many negative comments regarding Jenn and SHB.

I recieved a quick quote response after initally contacting the shop. We quickly hashed out major details and she got me a pasteboard shortly after getting all my information. I was supposed to get 3 pasteboards to review. I ended up with 5 because Jenn so graciously allowed me make changes that I had overlooked in the first couple rounds.

Once approval for printing was sent I got my invites shortly after. I realized after the fact that I would like to add liners to my order and she worked with us quickly to get them printed and shipped. She answered emails quickly and always strived to provide us with the best product she could.

I love my invites. They are designed beautifully and the printing quality is good. I cant wait to send them out and get the feedback from our guests.

I am still working with Jenn and SHB for our programs and have no worries about that process going just as smoothly.

I have to say that I had a great experience with Jenn at Seahorse Bend Press, LLC. I contacted her back in March to start work on my invitations for my wedding; and due to my work schedule and travel schedule - I had to push back working on the invitations. She was very accommodating and worked with me, and created beautiful invitations that I was excited to send out to our guests. I also contacted her to do our table numbers and menus, once we get our RSVP's back to know how many people are coming.

I completely disagree with all negative reviews of Seahorse Bend (SHB) Press below. Jenn was a dream to work with, completely responsive, and always willing to make sure that I was satisfied. My fiance and I love the collection, as do our families. She did a fantastic job!

As someone who creates and runs events for high level diplomats and government officials, celebrities and other dignitaries, I can honestly say that working with SHB was a great experience. Because my career demands that I work with multiple graphic designers on big budget events, I have a very high standard for individuals I collaborate with. Needless to say, I was very selective about a designer for my wedding stationery.

I was the client who nitpicked everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Jenn treated me with the same professionalism I expect from other graphic designers I've worked with on business rather than personal projects. Even on the days that she was probably really sick of me. We did disagree on one aspect of my invitations, but a graphic designer is supposed to give you their professional opinion about what will look best. This is their job. If you don't agree and request something she doesn't recommend, that is on you. She worked with me to get the look that I wanted while still keeping the creative aesthetic that drew me to the collection in the first place.

My invitations were completely worth the money and are very high quality for what she charges. Everyone who has seen them has said they are gorgeous and has said they are saving them (and let's face it, how many people's invitations do you actually keep after the wedding has happened) for ideas for their own weddings or events.

Additionally, she provided e-files for me to send out via email for wedding guests in the military who may not have access to regular mail. This was an extra that she didn't have to provide for me, but did so because she is great to work with. Simple as that.

Jenn is excellent to work with. She is extremely creative with a great visual and design sense. She was very patient, listening to our ideas and concerns, letting the design process unfold. We loved the invitations (and so did our guests)! Jenn is truly a gifted designer and artist.

We love our invitations, and we've received tons of compliments about how unique they are! We ordered invites, an information card, and an RSVP postcard. Jenn was really easy to work with, including sending our envelopes to another person we hired to do calligraphy in advance of finishing the invitations. The only bad thing I can say is that I wish the RSVP postcard was a little more durable. We've started getting them back, and they are a little roughed up. I'll be interested to see what the ones coming from longer distances will look like, but at the end of the day, they are still serving the purpose of letting us know who is coming. I did the basic paper she offered, so maybe the next step up may have been better. Either way, we're still really happy with how everything turned out, and I happily recommend her!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Jenn. Not only did she design a beautiful invitation suite for our wedding, she designed engagement party invitations for my parents, she worked with other local vendors and provided recommendations for calligraphers and illustrators, and she helped create a custom logo that I used on cups, tote bags, stickers, wedding maps and event signage. She was pleasant, thorough and incredibly attentive throughout the entire project.

I first must say that the final products provided by this stationer were lovely, and exactly what I wanted.

However, getting to that final product was a frustrating, difficult experience. I contracted this vendor in July 2012 for our May 2013 wedding, and we confirmed a timeline that she would have the items in hand by February 10, and first round of proofs to me the first week of January. On January 27, despite multiple outreach attempts, I had not seen even one proof. She responded to a direct and stern email with excuses and apologies, and finally proofs- but they were the completely wrong design/motif. She had confused me with another client. Moreover, every time, all the way from start to finish, there were grammar mistakes throughout the pieces, and not on family names or dates, but words spelled incorrectly and their instead of there. I would highly recommend 2-3 pairs of eyes looking over all the text, not just the names and dates, to make sure it's correct.

However, I will say that she did her best to turn it around for me. She apologized and then expedited delivery for the envelopes prior to the other pieces being ready so I could start on the calligraphy. She also provided an extra printed piece to compensate for the lost time and did as many proof rounds as I needed for free. For the price, the personalized design and unique pieces were great, but I do caution anyone wanting to work with her to make sure to be on your toes and be proactive regarding communication.

I used this vendor for my wedding invitations. While Jenn was friendly, the consultation process was a headache. Edits were not made, deadlines were not met, and email replies did not answer questions. I eventually received a bullying email from the "business manager" to let me know that they were no longer willing to work with me.

Absolute nightmare

Check the reviews on yelp.
They will take your order and then disappear with little to no communication.
They will have 100 and 1 excuses as to why there is a delay. They will also reassure you they will
Meet a deadline and that you should stay calm and trust them. BIG mistake!
Take your business elsewhere.
I have 1 week to send out invitations and 0 invitations. Im going to be printing them from staples through their one day delivery service because i trusted them to deliver on time.
I have emails as proof.
Brides, save yourself the hassle. Pay a little more and go elsewhere. They reel you in with fake promises and leave you high and dry.

I am literally at a loss for words with how I should rate this vendor. When I say this was the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with I mean it. The vendor threatened to bully and sue me into not writing this negative review after she failed to create wedding invitations for myself and my wife on time due to her failure to answer my emails and send out samples during the process and then finally she refuses to issue me a refund. As you can see from this review and many others I am not the only person who feels this way! She also changed the name of her company from La Belle Vie to Seahorse bend most likely to escape all the negative reviews which can be found on this page:
