Above and beyond amazing!
Our wedding was seriously the best night of our life. You guys thought of everything. It turned out so perfect. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! We felt like royalty and the entire wedding/wedding planning process was stress free. Rachel guided us and helped plan every small detail that we wouldn't have thought of, and the food was amazing! Thank you so much for curating the best night of our lives!
Rachel, I want to thank you for doing such a great job and calming my nerves on my big day. Everything was flawless and flowed perfectly.
Jose, thank you so much for keeping our cups full, making sure we ate dinner, and helping out with everything we needed during the reception.

Beautiful venue, great staff, great value!
My husband and I had our wedding at SeaCliff Country club in November 2020 and want to highly recommend this venue! This is such a beautiful country club that offers indoor and outdoor areas, many great locations for photographs, and plenty of space for guests. We toured many venues in Orange County and this one was an easy choice. Don't be put-off by the affordable price; SeaCliff provides everything you could want for your wedding (catering and kitchen staff, full bar and bartenders, linens, Chiavari chairs, chargers, TV to use for a slideshow, indoor/outdoor areas, heaters, a large parking lot, and more). SeaCliff's menu is not your typical wedding food! They have a very wide variety to choose from and include a tasting session for you to try out some of the options.
The staff at SeaCliff was incredibly helpful, even when we had to rebook the whole event twice due to COVID. They were flexible, supportive, and reassuring that we could still make our wedding happen while maintaining the proper restrictions to ensure a safe event for our guests. I want to specifically thank Robin Shelton, the general manager, who stepped in when the event planning department was furloughed to the pandemic. He took the time to meet with us twice and responded to many emails as we had to rework the entire set-up and timing of our event more than once. He was incredibly flexible and helpful during a very stressful time for a bride!
Our wedding turned out to be a beautiful day and we could not have asked for a better venue. Our guests had an unforgettable time and we ended up with so many beautiful photographs to remember our day. Thank you SeaCliff!-

beautiful, romantic, and affordable
We got married at Seacliff Country Club on 2/8/2020. Our venue was beautiful, romantic, and affordable. Our guests complimented how beautiful this place was and it was perfect for our 100 guests wedding.
Staffs are wonderful. They are responsive to all of my emails and made it very easy to work with them. I got to bring in some appetizers and additional desserts from outside vendors and the staff made the process simple. We even got to do a sparkler send off and again, no hassle from the team. They made it work. This venue is supportive and flexible to their client's request. I would highly recommend this venue. -

SeaCliff Made Our Wedding A Reality!
I do not even know where to begin. Our experience at SeaCliff was wonderful! To begin, the staff a SeaCliff truly went above and beyond in every way to make our wedding reception possible. The staff, especially Victoria and Renee, were truly a joy to work with. Everyone we encountered at SeaCliff was professional, flexible, and more than willing to help however possible. I cannot imagine having had a smoother experience; the staff at SeaCliff made it so easy! What originally sold my (now) husband and I on SeaCliff was the scenery and setting. The picture options are endless! Close enough for beach pictures, beautiful terrace overlooking the golf course, and areas throughout the property that provide such unique backdrops. The service, the beautiful property, the staff, the location...we could not recommend SeaCliff enough! -

Extremely Flexible and Accommodating! Plus, Amazing Food!
I'm so glad we went with Seacliff. We were lucky enough to have rain on our wedding day, but the entire staff at Seacliff went out of their way to make sure our entire day was still perfect. Everything went great without any hiccups! The entire staff is extremely flexible with all requests and very thorough when it comes to all parts of the set up.
In addition, many of our guests made a comment on how delicious dinner and the hors d'oeuvre were (the cranberry gorgonzola puffs were amazing). I'd go back to Seacliff just to eat!

Top 3 venue tours so far
This is one of my favorite venues we’ve visited. They have beautiful places to take picture and fairly priced packages. The event coordinator was very friendly and offered great January specials. Definitely considering this venue because the price is reasonable with all of the extra perks -

Amazing Venue to Work With!
I had my wedding at SeaCliff Country Club last June and our whole experience with them was wonderful! They worked with me and my now husband to create the perfect wedding. The staff is so nice and responsive, and they were willing to do everything we asked them to do in order to make our wedding vision happen. Everything turned out beautifully and so many guests raved about the delicious food and friendly staff! -

The venue was set up very nicely. Beverages and Continental Breakfast was very nicely done. Service was excellent. Water on the tables was replenished as needed. Lunch was served very timely and dishes were cleared as needed. Very well done!! Also noted.....the venue was quiet for our meeting! -

Beyond my expectations. The table setting was embellished with a mirror center piece with candles. Really helped to set the mood. The staff went beyond their duties to make sure the sound system was perfect. I can’t thank Tara at SeaCliff enough for allowing us to have our Banquet at your amazing facility. The entire staff at SeaCliff went above and beyond to make sure that our fundraiser event ran smooth without any hiccups. The room setup was wonderful and the few last minute changes that we had were handled right away. Everyone who attended the event raved about the food! We got married at Seacliff Country Club on 10/7/17. The wedding was everything we could ever want! When I was searching for venues I went to about 10 before stumbling across Seacliff. When I left Seacliff that day, I knew that this was my venue. It wasn't only beautiful but it was affordable! The team at Seacliff definitely strives to make the bride and grooms dream come to life. During our planning process we worked closely with Ashley and Keely, and our day of coordinator was Tara. They were all amazing!! Super responsive and most importantly, I felt that they truly understood my vision! The day of, everything went smoothly, all of my decor was set up exactly how I wanted it, the bar staff and wait staff were excellent. Tara did a great job organizing my large wedding party and she made me feel as though everything was taken care of. All of my guests had a blast and it was a beautiful day. If I could go back in time I would choose Seacliff again and again!
P.s have your reception outside on the terrace! It was absolutely beautiful. The staff at Seacliff did a great job flipping from the ceremony to the reception on the terrace and it was PERFECT!-

Everything was smooth, the room was lovely and the food at the buffet line never ran out – the staff really hustled! And that’s not magic. -

SeaCliff is a beautiful venue! We are so happy we had our Wedding Reception there. The Events staff and the Food Services staff were wonderful! Keely provided us with outstanding customer service. She was friendly, professional, and very attentive throughout the process. Tara was amazing on the day of our reception. She too was friendly, professional, and very attentive. SeaCliff is AMAZING!!! We just had our wedding there and it was everything I could've wanted and more. Everything ran so smoothly and on time and there wasn't any mishaps or issues at all. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and the girls coordinating did a great job. So many people came up to us after commenting on what a beautiful venue it was and how great the food was. We also got so many compliments on how great the service was - everyone was served at the same time and their food tasted great. I cannot thank Ashley and Tara and the whole team enough for all their help with the planning the past nine months and for making our day so special.

Ashley and Tara were amazing! First off, we did not think SeaCliff was going to be within our budget, but from the get go, Ashley worked with us in order to show that it would work out. When we came in to see the facility, we were sold, especially with the ceremony site! The entire process went smoothly and was very straightforward. Ashley and Tara were generally quick to respond to any questions or emails and never made me feel like it was any inconvenience. I thought the process of the food tasting was great as we were able to try many of the available menu options in a group setting. The day of our wedding went very well with no problems from my point of view and I didn't hear any complaints from our guests. At the end of it all, I just wanted to make sure our guests had a good time. Afterwards, I heard a lot of compliments on our venue, the food, and how much fun they had! Thank you for helping us have such an amazing wedding day! -

Ashley answered all our questions when we were trying to find the perfect place for our wedding. We kept looking and knew that SeaCliff was the perfect place for our special day. Keely always was helpful. Always got back to us if we called or emailed with questions. She was so super sweet with our little girl. After any meeting, we always left happy and with less stress. These girls and their team made every step towards our wedding that much easier. On our wedding day they made sure to go above and beyond to ensure that our day was amazing. From the service to the decor, everything surpassed our expectations. Days later, our family couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was and we couldn't have been any happier. My husband and I are so thankful that we chose SeaCliff as our venue. Everyone was so friendly and nice to work with--and incredibly accommodating. We were able to stay within our budget, have the food that we wanted, have the vendors we wanted, and were close to the beach. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is amazing, and the staff just made everything so easy for us! It was the third venue we went to and we signed the same day we spoke with Ashley, the Events Director. SeaCliff was perfect for us and we would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding! -

I had my wedding of 150 people at SeaCliff on April 9. I had the sincere pleasure of working with Chelsea throughout the planning process. Chelsea and her team at SeaCliff were incredibly easy to work with, and were always quick to answer any questions. They guided us through all stages of planning, from minor details like napkin folds to bigger things like floor plan. When rain was in the forecast, Chelsea assured us that moving the ceremony inside would be just as beautiful; she was right. The ballroom was transformed into exactly what we discussed, and all staffers were incredibly kind and efficient. SeaCliff catered to our every need. I am SO pleased I had my wedding here and I highly recommend this venue to any bride and groom. -

I had my wedding here on 11.7.15 and I could not be happier! Jessica was my coordinator and did an amazing job (and kudos to Misha for helping on the day of & keeping me calm before walking down the aisle!). Every vendor we used through SeaCliff was awesome and everything turned out absolutely perfect. My husband and I are still beaming from this magical day. SeaCliff was recommended to me by one of my coworkers who was married there a couple years ago. I was very impressed with the service and my coordinator, Emma. Working with weddings cannot be easy, but she was always extremely nice and professional and called, emailed, and met with me whenever I asked. She was extremely attentive to detail on the day of my wedding, walking outside where the ceremony took place making sure the aisle and flowers were perfect. Walking around the dinning room making sure all the centerpieces and place settings were just right. Plus she was by my side most of the time making sure things were progressing throughout the day smoothly. The waitstaff was unbelievable and I received many compliments on my entire wedding. I could not be more happy with the our wedding! Emma you were great! Thanks for an amazing day!

Our wedding experience with SeaCliff and its staff, Juliann, Micah and others, was exceptional. SeaCliff at Huntington Beach this past November 29, 2014 provided for a very quaint and elegant terrace ceremony to my daughter, Kaitlin, delight. The compliment of options at SeaCliff allowed for a beautiful backdrop and tailoring for the serving of excellent food, drink, dance and merriment for all our family and friends to enjoy. And enjoy they did!!! Thanks SeaCliff, Micah and Juliann for all the fond memories!!!

We had our wedding here and it was a dream. The coordinators here are so helpful and will do whatever they can to make your wedding exactly how you want it. Jessica and the coordinators that I had were so nice to not only myself and my husband but to all the wedding guests as well. If anyone needed anything, it was done.
Even before the wedding day, they are responsive and care about you and your big day. If you have silly questions or just want to be assured that everything is going right, they will let you know.
Seacliff is a beautiful venue already but I couldn't have imagined that it would look the way they made it look. I told them what I wanted but they went above and beyond and even added a little special surprises for us as well.
There are so many different things you can do here to make your wedding special and original. Thank you Seacliff for making mine and my husbands dream wedding. We couldn't imagine it any better!! -

Our wedding was a success. I have no complaints about SeaCliff. We received so much attention and accommodations to our needs. If we couldn't hit the budget for something particular, we sacrificed it to get what we really cared about. And the team at SeaCliff made suggestions to make it happen. -

SeaCliff Country Club took care of all our needs as we prepared for the wedding day, and it certainly showed on the day of the wedding. The Coordinator listened to our concerns and everything was addressed. February can be tricky weather wise and we were assured of a Plan B.
On the day of the wedding I saw the bride and groom enjoying their party and not worried about the details that the Coordinator Adrienne Richards said that she would take care of. It was a very beautiful, memorable day and I would strongly recommend this sight for a wedding. -

WONDERFUL! Kelly & Lindsey with SeaCliff Country Club did such a wonderful job! (Kelly more of the contractual, appointments, deposits & Lindsey day of coordination). Lindsey was so awesome & helpful before, day of, and after the wedding. There was a few issues caused by other vendors earlier in the day which caused some of the wedding items to be misplaced. We couldn't find the cake topper and the time schedule was a little mixed up. She fixed everything and found a cake topper for us to use. My bridesmaid and I was able to have a little quiet time before the reception and received a private champagne toast and tray of h'orderves while relaxing our toes from our ridiculously cute shoes. The serve staff was so attentive and in no time, all our guests were seated & served. Their glasses were continuously refilled and table was always kept neat. Day after the wedding before we were set to leave town, we stopped by SeaCliff once more to pick up a few items we left behind. Lindsey was there with all the the items put together and a cart to help me to the car. Again, we cannot express enough the wonderful service we received throughout the night. Thank you so very much!! -

Lindsay and Denise were soo helpful! They answered all of our questions and concerns. They were very receptive to all our requests and changes. The food was great as was the wait staff! The ceremony itself was just perfect and the weather down near the beach is perfect!

There are soooo many great things I can say about SeaCliff. I just had my wedding on Sept 16 and they went above the call of duty. From the start of looking for a venue til we left for our honeymoon Seacliff was amazing. Absolutely AMAZING!!! I just can't say it enough. I'm pretty sure the girls at SeaCliff are tired of me telling them that. Linsey, Sharen, Chelsea, Banquet Captain and setup crew..Thank you for such incredible service and awesome food! Filet Mignon and Chicken Marin were top notch! I had my ceremony and reception on the Oval Terrace and Pacific Room. Everything from the set up to running the show was outstanding. SeaCliff Country Club aims to please. With all the changes that I made throughout the process, I was met with nothing but a can do attitude from everyone. Seacliff Country Club is an awesome place to hold your wedding reception. I'm sure they provide nice ceremonies as well, but we got married in a church and had the reception there. The surroundings are gorgeous. This is a country club, not just any golf course that provides wedding facilities. The interior looks like a 4 star hotel. Chelsea was the one who helps us and she was just great. They have an array of mouth watering foods to choose from on their menu and honestly, everything tasted great. Ever had a filet mignon at a wedding and it was dry and tough to chew. Not here! Melted in your mouth! and their pecan crusted halibut was so tasty! Definitely worth a look if you are planning a wedding in the Huntington Beach area. -

SeaCliff Country Club hosted the wedding of my dreams! Everything was absolutely perfect, and they accommodated for everything I wanted/ asked for. I worked closely with Ashley, who was amazing throughout, but huge props to Keely for helping out the last 2 weeks. She responded to my last minute emails within minutes, and was truly amazing the day of, as well! The set-up, food, bar.. EVERYTHING, was exactly how we planned it out. I cannot say enough good things! Best wedding venue in the OC! -

I just had my wedding here 3 days ago, it was such a wonderful experience! The SeaCliff Country Club was the last venue we visited, my husband and I fell in love with it! We booked it 2 days later, almost a year before our wedding! The country club includes so many things in their packages, and there are so many options to pick from, it really allows you to customize your wedding. I loved the different things that almost every package included, such as: valet parking, champagne and wine greeting, hosted bar, butler passed hors d'oeuvres, and the ceremony package even included the cake! Also, the event coordinators were so helpful! Mine was Shelby, she really helped me out, I was so clueless on so many things! She put up with my almost weekly emails with a million questions. And she really helped keep things together with my other vendors and guests on the day of, (she even brought me and my girls a bottle of champagne before the ceremony!) She was one of my many life-savers that day.
All in all, everything was perfect. The price could SEEM expensive, but when you look at all the things the package includes, it is such a great deal! All the options create such a classy and unforgettable day! -

Seacliff was an AMAZING place to have a wedding. The ladies of the wedding staff were so helpful throughout the whole process and especially on the day of. We had both the ceremony and reception at this location, and it went so smoothly to have no travel involved. They did show our reception set up to potential brides, which frustrated my father, but didn't affect me much at all. The venue is beautiful and the day was amazing! -

Double Check Your Contract!
Seacliff offered THE best deal by far of all the venues we visited--it was an amazing value. One of the "perks" they offered us when we signed the contract was wine service with dinner. There was a change in management and it didn't get relayed to our event team. The day of the wedding my mom had to provide evidence that it was part of our original contract... Not ideal!
Fortunately, I was none the wiser and the day was absolutely beautiful. -

We were not easy customers. Lots of questions, last minute requests, a multiple item menu, and a huge rainstorm. Sarah and Tara were able to be flexible and accommodating. There were high winds and pouring rain the day beforehand it was supposed to rain on our wedding day as well I requested a 12pm call on if we would have our outside ceremony Tara agreed. We were so lucky that the rain stopped. Our wedding was beautiful and just as it should be. -

Seacliff had everything that we were looking for in a venue. Chelsea was so amazing and dealt with all my "Bridezilla" moments with calm and collective responses. The only 4 star I would give is for flexibility because we were not able to add a round of golf (even though we know it is a private golf course) which was so very important to my husband as he LOVES to golf (hence the country club wedding). Other than that, they were flexible with pretty much all other requests.
I would recommend Seacliff to any Bride and Groom looking for fantastic service and a perfect flow of a wedding. -

Finding the right venue was the hardest part of our wedding. My (now) husband and I came across SeaCliff just before we decided on a different venue - and boy were we happy! SeaCliff was beautiful from the beginning, and our experience was wonderful. We ended up choosing to have our reception in the Terrace area. In the beginning I was nervous that the dance floor/dining areas were separated by the bar/wall, but it was just perfect! Our DJ had worked at SeaCliff and knew how to keep people engaged and going from room to room. I did have a transition of 2-3 people that we worked with during the course of our planning, but each person made sure to look into our unique situation. I would *highly* recommend going to the tasting - it was not only fun but really helped us figure out what food we wanted. There were a couple details on the day of that I noticed (yes, I'm a bit neurotic) that weren't exactly as I had requested, but it was beautiful nonetheless and I didn't bother myself with it. We were there to enjoy everyone, not fret over things like that. The food service was fantastic, and all of the servers were very attentive and friendly. We had use of the entire terrace, and many of our guests were outside at the firepits throughout the evening. I'd say that what you get for the price can't be beat - other places cost the same or more and did not have the quality that SeaCliff offered. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place for our wedding! -

We had such a wonderful experience at Seacliff, that we would whole-heartedly recommend it. The site is beautiful, and we were very excited to be able to book the venue. Our coordinator initially was Emma, and Victoria took over the wedding. We really appreciated how thoughtful everyone at Seacliff was in taking into account our needs, budget, etc. We were so lucky to have the event coordinators that we did. Victoria was a rock for me throughout the planning, and also the day of (she coordinated the ceremony). Everyone we worked with, including Chelsea (the events director), is stellar and know the ins and outs of everything that can happen during a wedding.
I don't think anyone can say that any wedding can ever go without a glitch or two, but we were lucky that we found a great venue with great staff that we could rely on. We felt everyone went out of their way, they are just very nice people. We feel very lucky we found Seacliff, it was my dream wedding! -

We looked at tons of venues and chose SeaCliff for several reasons. We loved the open, airy elegance of the terrace and Pacific Room. The price point was extremely reasonable for what we got - e.g. a (great) professional DJ included (!!!). Definitely the best bang for your buck that we found in our extensive search. And we loved Jessica, who was flexible throughout and tailored a proposal to include what was most important to us.
We worked with Jessica and Alyssa (our Day-of coordinator) to refine the proposal and map out the details. We even worked with the chef to craft an appealing ethnic meal for some of our guests. Everyone was open to our suggestions and very accommodating. At times, there were some delays in getting back to us, but after being persistent, we did get all our questions answered.
There were the inevitable miscommunications, which were corrected prior to the wedding - all except one, which I am sure was an honest mistake. Our agreement was not to have premium beverages displayed at our open bar but if someone specifically requested one, we would allow it. However, on the day of, a premium bar was displayed and served, resulting in a much higher bar tab than expected. In the end, we were able to get SeaCliff to adjust the tab to reflect the lower prices of what we'd agreed on. It was a minor stressor in the weeks after the wedding, but in the end, it all worked out.
Overall, we loved loved loved our wedding! The venue was gorgeous, and we didn't see or hear the other (earlier) wedding in the ballroom. The food was great, including all our special requests. Alyssa was such a sweetheart the whole time, taking care of our every need. I felt like everything was taken care of so I could relax and enjoy the best day of my life. I'm so grateful for their care and attention, and would definitely book with them again if we had it to do over again. Thank you ladies!!! -

We booked our team banquet with the club very late (only two weeks prior) yet the staff was very helpful and everything was handles with professionalism and class. The event came off beautifully and we had a great time with great food and great atmosphere. -

Everything was great except one item. When I asked the banquet Captain if he fed my 3 vendors he said no. He also said most of the time the vendors don't get fed because the people getting married don't pay for them. Well, I did, and told to feed them. He did. Everyone was happy with their meal, including the vendors. -

Beautiful venue! The whole planning process is extremely stressful but the on-site planners helped to make my wedding dreams come true! We were able to work out a deal because my wedding was just prior to the "high season" but I did not sacrifice any of the quality of service. Shelby was absolutely amazing in helping us plan and execute our big day from beginning to end. The venue is great and had so many options which were important to us. Just make sure you choose the right bar option because your tab can rack up a lot quicker than you think and they use a "tally" system instead of ringing them in so that is the only sketchy thing. Otherwise great venue, great value! -

I booked Seacliff Country Club for my Wedding on May 25, 2014.
It was the last venue I looked at before coming to a decision and locking down a venue.
I never really paid any attention to this venue until coming across an open House event that they were having.
My fiance, sister and I went to go check it out and we were amazed how beautiful the scenery was and was hidden away from main streets etc.
We booked with them a good year and 2 months out before our wedding. We got good incentives from them and I believe they were pretty reasonable in trying to work out things that we could have in our wedding.
In the months getting closer to our special day, i kept in contact with the day of coordinator who ended up changing 3 times. It did become frustrating because, I would then have to re explain everything to the next person that I would be working with, just to make sure we were all on the same page.
My final gal who ended up being my day of coordinator was Alyssa. She is a sweetheart, and really was helpful.
Although she was not really helpful in trying to accomodate my needs without having to charge me more she was trying her best to be helpful and trying to reassure me that everything would be done on the day of.
On my wedding day the ceremony music was not in coordination and it didn't stick to the way it was supposed to because Alyssa didn't listen to me when i explained things to her. Also on the day of i was greeted by another coordinator whom i never met and she didnt know what was going on and neither coordinators were on the same page.
I was promised that the cocktail hour would take place in the lounge area and guests could go in and out onto the terrace during cocktail hr, that didnt happen. Also the hors d'voures were not passed out and the fruit and cheese platters were not in the area that it was supposed to. That was disappointing to me and really frustrated me on the day of, because it was not something we agreed. -

Chelsea was very charismatic and took great care of our special day. The responsiveness and promptness was a huge value in planning our day. The venue was gorgeous, and we loved the extras that they threw in. The only draw back, was that our wedding coordinator did not stay until the end of our wedding which created chaos trying to "cleanup" and getting things figured out at the end of the night. We were also bummed to not have food and drinks waiting for us upon our arrival from our ceremony. We were very happy overall! -

I had my wedding reception at SeaCliff. As we prepared for the wedding there were some touch and go situations where I was nervous about how everything was going to come to gather. That is mostly because I normally need to be involved in everything. But when I entered the room with the draping and the uprights and the crystals behind our sweetheart table, the room was breathtaking. The staff is beyond amazing always making sure that I was ok with every decision and step they and I were making. The run through the weeks leading up to the wedding were great! My entire wedding party and guest literally told me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too! -

They require to use their own preferred vendors for the decor, supplies, etc. Just beware of this if trying to pursue outside vendors. -

Beautiful venue. Staff was very professional, but sometimes took a few days to respond back. Regarding value, you will spend over $2000, when food and beverage minimum is set at $1500. By the time you add valet, gratuity, sales tax, etc, you’ll have reached $2k. I requested a few things to be substituted, but certain things were not allowed. The chef wasn’t too flexible and the manager didn’t approve certain requests. Overall, it was a beautiful day and a beautiful event, but it’s definitely costly and things add up quick. -

This would have been a much better experience with a venue coordinator that actually had time for you. If it wasn't for hiring my own coordinator, this could have gone south on the day of. The venue itself is beautiful and the terrace ceremony, gorgeous. At the end of the day, everything got settled, but it irks me at how customer service is definitely not priority here. Our wedding was still beautiful and I wouldnt have changed a thing! -

Unresponsive and unorganized
Beautiful location, but the event planner and team is so disorganized and hard to work with. We are from out of state and Rachel scheduled our final meeting in which we flew in for and the team told us she was out on a planned PTO and her team didn’t know about our meeting. So we are just standing at the location waiting for someone to tell us something since this is the final meeting, a month before the wedding !
We then tried to get in contact with her when we flew back home. We didn’t hear back until about 3/4 days later requesting to schedule a new time to chat over the phone regarding the FINAL details of our wedding since we weren’t going to book a new flight out there. The day of the final meeting call comes around, she doesn’t call us and doesn’t pick up our call after waiting 15 minutes past our scheduled time. This is the second no call no show from Rachel.
Once it was 30 minutes after our scheduled time, we found the event team’s general email and the general managers email and emailed them trying to get in contact with anybody. She didn’t call until an hour later.
During the call I asked how involved they were during the wedding day and she said they are there for whatever I needed, so I asked if they can tie flowers to the aisle chairs and that’s all I needed, nothing else. The flowers are already made and her team just needs to tie them on. In which she confidently assured me it was something easy they can do. She also mentions that we can have a Golf Cart to help us go around for photos.
Day of the wedding, I arrive with the flowers in hand ready to give to the team to tie to the chairs… no one is there. So I am running around, hair and makeup already done, trying to find Rachel before the wedding and she is giving a tour to another couple. I asked her about her team that she said will help put up the flowers and she grabbed a man who was nice but he seemed to not know that he was suppose to do, so my cousin ended up putting up the flowers herself. We also did not get the golf cart that was promised and we planned for.
To be honest, mistakes happen and I can look past it as human error, but she didn’t genuinely apologize once, it was just a quick “hi, sorry I was [insert excuse]” and moved on as if we didn’t fly all the way there for a meeting or waited an hour for a call…
Overall my wedding was good, but was too stressed out to fully enjoy it. -

My husband and I did not have the best experience with SeaCliff. When we meet with them to look at the venue for a possible wedding location, promises were made that were not kept. We were told that we would be the only event on that day, the wedding party as well as my husband and I would be served drinks and appetizers during the cocktail hour, and that family members that are disabled would be picked up on golf carts to go to the grounds for pictures. My husband and I were also told that for over 150 guests we would have 2 bartenders. We were also promised when the contract was signed that we would be able to have the terrace that we were married on for as long as we need it. After telling on several occasions that I wanted to go over the details and schedule for our wedding and that we would be able to have the terrace, another wedding was booked that had the room that the terrace was off of, which meant we wouldn't be able to take photos after the ceremony. My husband and I expressed our frustration and they allowed us to have the terrace until 6 pm for a 5:30 ceremony. The promises that they made were not kept.
The contract does not have details of what they promise of course. The other couple that had their reception at SeaCliff knew the manager of the venue and were serviced faster and taken care of but we were not. SeaCliff is about making money and that is all they care about. They do not care about their clients (unless you are friends with the manger) and it shows. The only positive thing I can say is the food is amazing and the servers and bar tender were excellent. I would not recommend them for a wedding. Very disatisfied. -

The food and beverage team was horrible. My guest didn't eat their meals because the guests were not provided with steak knives and couldn't cut their food. The servers would not stopped when flagged. The F&B captain decided to only cut one tier of my cake and serve it. When my son requested the server provide him the the tier he selected for our wedding, the server informed him that they would only be serving one tier. They cleared all my centerpieces and party favors during my first dance and put them in a back room. My guests including my mother and mother in law did not receive their favors or centerpieces. I'm still trying to deliver the party favors. The older guests saw that the dining area was cleared and had no where to sit so they left our wedding after our first dance! The bartender complained to all of our guests that he had a broken foot and SeaCliff made him work. He stated they don't pay him much and he was telling our guests how painful it was to serve them drinks. Needless to say it helped him get good tips but kept my guest away from the bar and capitalizing on all the money I spent to have an open bar all night. -

This place became such a nightmare that I'm going to get to the bottom line before even writing the full review for this venue: Beware if you sign on with this venue for your wedding, they will pull a complete bait and switch on you.
We chose this venue because it seemed perfect for what we wanted within our budget. They provided package deals that seemed ideal when we initially signed on with them. However, when we started to look at outside vendors for specific items (linens, chairs, etc), we were berated for even consulting outside of their preferred list, claiming it was out of their club's policy. We reviewed the contract, and NOWHERE did it say that we weren't allowed to use outside vendors. It took way more work than it should have to be able to work with Seacliff in getting to use the vendors we wanted. On top of that, they were very unwilling to work with our own wedding coordinator.
Communication, needless to say, was also pretty poor. It was hard enough trying to get any information from our initial coordinator at the venue, Adrienne. Then, not so coincidentally, as our wedding date came closer, Adrienne was no longer with the club, and her replacement, Shelby, stepped into her position. While I will say Shelby was nicer to work with, it was clear that Seacliff was running way behind on their events, as it still took multiple follow-up emails to get answers from them.
Use this venue at your own risk or if you're ok with being upcharged pretty badly if you want to upgrade some of your stuff ($9 for chiavari chairs, really?) and also using all of their items that they provide, some of which weren't in the greatest condition (linens, for example). If you go in with this in mind, then our nightmare will not become your reality.

Deceptive Business Practiced
A month ago I booked a Celebration of Life event to honor my father’s passing. Our group size would be 75-100 guests. The Huntington Club presented a proposal, a contract was signed by both parties, and a 25% deposit of $1,300 was demanded to be paid within a 24-hour period. I complied with all stipulations. Three days ago I received an email from The Club informing me that they have cancelled my event because they scheduled their Men’s and Guests golf tournament over the same weekend of my event, and that it would require the use of the entire club all hours of their 3-day tournament. By this time I had received over 30 RSVPs for our event, at least fifteen who had already paid for airfare and booked hotel rooms. The Huntington Club’s casual disregard for the position this has left me in is at best unprofessional, and at worst is a display of fraudulent business practices (we had a contract). I must now shop for another venue with the event date swiftly approaching.
Think twice before doing business with this company. They don’t care in the least about disrupting your plans…even with legal documents involved. I still have not received my deposit. It seems the 24-hour rule only applies when they are demanding money from you.
