I want to emphasize how grateful we are for Christian & Emilio at Natura Collective, who did the most gorgeous and unique photography for our engagement and our wedding (we also did a video for our wedding which we haven't seen yet but are very confident it will be incredible). It took us a while to find photographers/videographers who had portfolios we loved and were affordable. Additionally, as a queer couple, we felt it was important to hire queer (or queer-friendly) vendors, so we were really excited and proud to support Natura Collective.
Christian and Emilio are very personable and easy to get along with. Their process of figuring out what we wanted and communicating our preferences was straightforward and seamless. The preview gallery we have is dreamy; they delivered beyond what we were looking for, and when I look at the pictures, I feel like I'm transported right back to our wedding night, which I'm already feeling sentimental about because it's over. Thank you!!!! Book them!!!! You will not regret it. -

Natura Collective did our wedding photography and videography in January 2024 -- as well as our engagement shoot -- and we could not be happier with the process or with the final products. They knocked it out of the park! Photos were a particular concern of ours because one of us is more-than-a-little averse to having her photo taken… and Christian and Emilio were so sweet, patient, and understanding of this throughout the entire process. From the very beginning with our engagement shoot and onto the wedding, they exceeded our expectations in terms of setting a comfortable, inclusive, and non-awkward environment, which made all the difference for us. They also managed to wrangle huge and rambunctious families together for great shots and they were also just a joy to be around, making the whole day more fun, relaxed, and festive than it would have been without them. They’re stellar professionals and stellar people, and we feel genuinely lucky that we got to work with them. Especially notably, we got the sneak peak of our photos from them a mere TWO DAYS (!!) after our wedding – which was absolutely bonkers but SO appreciated: As we were coming down from the high of the wedding, getting to relive the day through their beautiful photos was extra appreciated. Our friends and family have raved about the photos and about how wonderful they were to work with. Definitely book them – we can’t recommend them highly enough and are SO grateful to have gotten to work with them! -

Christian and Emilio are amazing (and I do not say that lightly). In the middle of a very busy life, as busy as NYC life can get, we needed great partnerships (let’s not call it “vendors”). We needed partners that would be professional, responsive, reliable, patient and kind. Natura Collective checked these boxes from the very beginning. They respected and creatively added to what we envisioned and wanted, they helped us to feel comfortable in front of a camera, they were incredibly kind with our family members who did not speak English or are disabled. Can’t wait for more big moments in our lives that deserve a photo shoot, we will be working with Christian and Emilio for as long as they will have us! -

I loved working with Christian! He is SO creative, kind, thoughtful and I genuinely just really enjoyed the process of working with him. He brought the best energy to our wedding and was so excited to be there, which felt so great on our end. We really appreciated how he handled the pandemic; he protected our date and made sure he could be at our wedding and it meant the world to us. And then, of course, the photos are AMAZING. Like stunning. I would recommend Christian and Natura Collective far and wide!!! Adore them! -

Wow! where to begin? To all the individuals out there who are perfectionists, detail-oriented and planners, let me tell you: this is it, the photographers you need to book! I'll be honest: One of the things that I was most concerned about while planning a wedding was picking the right photographers! After all, those memories will be forever immortalized in those images! We hired Natura Collective for several reasons: from the moment we connected with Christian, we knew we wanted to hire them! Every FaceTime call, email and session was an experience, not a transaction!! During our engagement session, both Christian and Emilio were super professional and caring. They cared about the type of photos we were looking for and were super flexible to accommodate locations, dates and times. Our wedding date us set for next year and we cannot wait for them to capture our big day! -

Christian & Emilio were absolutely amazing. Photography was such an important part of our day & I was so excited to have them capture our day on photo and video. They came in with the most positive attitude & totally alleviated my stress! They truly focused on us and the shots and moments that were important to us. They helped us pose & feel comfortable while taking pictures and we had so much fun shooting with them! They never made us feel rushed and really let us take our time even if we were totally running behind schedule. They went above & beyond to get the hanging dress shots & throwing veil shots and even sitting on the bar shots I wanted :). They even helped to do a bunch of family group shots during the reception. Our preview photos came out absolutely beautiful & I cannot wait to get back the rest of our photos & videos. For the best day of our lives I am so glad to have Christian & Emilio be a part of my day and shoot all the photos & videos for us to keep forever. Christian & Emilio are just the sweetest most fun photographers ever & you will be so happy to hire them! -

Christian and Emilio came highly recommended, and they have lived up to the billing! Our wedding isn't until July, but we met today for an opportunity to get to know each other and take a few engagement shots. We aren't typically very comfortable in front of the camera, but Christian was incredibly easy to work with. He really helped us feel natural and at home during the shoot. He was incredibly patient and personable and really made us feel like he wanted to get to know us. He wasn't just going through the motions, it was definitely a team effort! We can't wait to see the results of the shoot, and we're more confident than ever that our wedding photos are in good hands! -

I cannot say enough about Christian and Emilio! We felt so comfortable with them from the second we met. There was no other choice of photographer, in our eyes, to book for our best day. Christian has an innate excitement that is absolutely contagious, in person and email/text. They are brilliant and full of unique ideas to make your photos magical and breathtaking. Their photo quality is unmatchable. They are worth EVERY penny and more. -
Jenna Sent on 08/23/2018Booking Sea Shack Photo and Films was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. We met Christian at a bridal show and we knew almost immediately he was who we wanted to document the best day of our lives. He was incredibly personable, funny, attentive, and professional. The package we chose came with an engagement shoot. We almost wanted to skip it, but we're so glad we didn't. Christian made sure we had fun and we couldn't stop laughing. He really went above and beyond - even almost standing in a marsh to make sure we got some great shots. After our engagement shoot and getting our photos back, we knew we were going to have an absolute blast on our wedding day, and we were right. Christian and Emilio were so much fun to work with on our wedding day and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were super organized and made sure we got every shot that we wanted and made everything so stress free. We got our wedding photos back just 3 weeks after the wedding and they were absolutely breathtaking. They captured every aspect of the day so beautifully, even the smallest moments and details. We would choose them over and over again without hesitation. Thank you both so much for everything and for capturing the best day of our lives. We are so excited to see our wedding video!!!

When my now-wife and I went to our very first bridal show in Jan. ’17, we didn’t think we would end up booking a photographer that day! Being novice photographers ourselves and shooting a couple of low-key weddings, we knew what we were looking for. The number one quality in a photographer was their personality – we didn’t want to be in a “forced friendship” with our photographer just because we were their clients. We wanted to be able to connect on a personal level and as soon as we started talking to Christian at his booth, we knew it was a vendor marriage! Not only did we click right away, but he was LGBTQ accepting which was the second most important aspect we were looking for in a vendor. From there, we looked through his work and liked what we saw. We gave him our date and got booked! Post-expo, we hit some hiccups along the way with our venue but it actually worked out for the best because the date change meant that Christian would be able to shoot our wedding himself!
Not only was his photography service package a steal, he kept constant communication with us – easily reachable, flexible, and answered any questions we had! We traded out our boudoir shoot for a second engagement shoot (which was at Disney World!). We absolutely loved all our photos from both engagement shoots and of course, most importantly, our wedding! His turnaround time was about 5 weeks after our wedding, which, in the wedding photography industry, is very fast! Everyone loved the photos! Christian and Emilio had a great time at our wedding also!

Andrea Sent on 03/22/2018I will just get straight to the point here for those of your searching for a photographer for your engagement/wedding/ANYTHING, Christian is AMAZING! To me, photography is one of the most important parts in booking for a wedding. Pictures tell a story, they last forever. I could not be more in love with the photos I've seen from our big day. I was so very lucky to have found Christian through others I knew who used him as their photographer. He went above and beyond to capture the most gorgeous photos I have ever seen. I'm talking climbing on furniture and running around a lake to get the perfect shot. Christian and Emilio are simply amazing and made our big day even more special. Thank you thank you thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for capturing all the emotion, love, and fun of our wedding!

I went to a bridal show and my sister stumbled across Christian and his portfolio and personality sold me right away. We were so lucky to have gotten them as our photographers! Picking a photographer for your wedding is no joke and I was so stressed just thinking about the daunting task, but I don't think I could've chosen any better. Not only was the picture taking process effortless for a person who doesn't pose in front of cameras often, but I also I received a treat of like 100 photos the very night of my wedding that were all so stunning. It was just icing on the cake to an already perfect experience. Would totally recommend them 100%. -

Marissa Sent on 10/19/2017To state this simply, Christian is nothing short of amazing. He is spirited and enthusiastic, which easily rubs off on you, making your experience a pleasurable one. During your shoot, he interacts with you and facilitates his ideas when necessary. He notes small details which made our pictures turn out personally unique and overall exceptional. He adjusted in every situation thrown his way during our shoot, and went as far as standing in MARSH on the edge of a lake to get the perfect shot (a picture which is now hanging in our home and included here). I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants that above and beyond experience and product. -

They can take your ideas and execute them into a fairytale photo and then Christian thinks of idea that is even more breathtaking. At our wedding there were so many moments that were gone with a blink of an eye but they captured them all. Thank you for everything.

We were very happy with Natura Collective. Christian and Emilio's creativity first shined through at our 2019 engagement shoot that took us via car and subway all over Manhattan. They were flexible despite the pandemic, delaying our 2020 wedding date to 2021 and honoring our original rate which helped us keep on sanity amidst the chaos of rescheduling.
Our wedding day in September was similarly busy (with photos of us getting ready at our apartment in central Brooklyn, the ceremony and dancing at our venue in Dumbo, and beautiful family photos in Brooklyn Heights) and they handled it deftly. When we ran behind schedule and couldn't all pile into an Uber, one of them ran and hopped on an electric scooter to get to our next location! The shots that resulted, which were supplied to us a few days before Christmas, have just the right mix of spontaneity and poise, energy and elegance. Everyone even looks great in the dancing photos, which is no small feat. Our one nit would be that on occasion they'd take a while to get back to us, but hey, here we are leaving a review five months later so who's perfect? Regardless, we would absolutely work with these guys again. -

amazing pictures
I’m not sure I need to say much beyond the amazing attached photos, but Natura Collective has amazing wedding photography and we cannot recommend them more highly. They were super responsive and flexible (even as we accidentally lost them in our spam filter until a month before the wedding!) and we first met them on the day before our wedding (we turned our engagement photoshoot into a last-day-of-engagement photoshoot). They were super friendly and very good at making us feel like natural photo subjects - which is impressive given that my wife’s biggest source of nerves for the wedding was maybe having so many photos taken of her! They were super receptive to our needs and desired photo style, never pushing us to take more photos when they knew we had enough, and we cannot recommend them more highly. -
