  We got married February 2018 at Anthem Country Club with Jeff as our DJ, and he was AMAZING! We live in CT (I grew up in AZ), but Jeff Skyped with us and was super responsive over email to make sure all of the sound for our wedding was perfect. We were very picky about what music we wanted (oldies, country, pop, classic rock, etc), so I was nervous about booking a DJ, but Jeff was fantastic at understanding the overall vibe we wanted and getting the mood right at every stage of the wedding. He even didn't bat an eye when my fiance told him we wanted to play the Jurassic Park theme song for our processional (by Piano Guys...it's actually a really beautiful version...). Jeff was there early to make sure all of the equipment was set up and was GREAT as our emcee for the event...he was involved, but not too involved (just what we had asked for!). I am SO happy we made the decision to book Jeff for our wedding. He was worth every penny! Super professional and passionate.!

  Jeff was our DJ for our backyard wedding this past November and he did a great job. He met with us a few times at our venue locations prior to the wedding and was very helpful with many suggestions (which we needed!) He did a great job during the reception and was very flexible with the changing timeline. He also was very flexible with taking requests from the guests. Thank you, Jeff!!

  DJ/Master of Ceremonies: The Heart and Heartbeat. More Essential Than You Know.
  
  Like many, this was our first wedding and we had vague ideas on to expect and how things should go. From our first meeting with Jeff we came to realize a DJ is much more than just your music source for the evening. Jeff showed a great DJ can be a mood setter, a pace keeper, a guide and bottomless source for information. Jeff helped us immensely from the very start with feedback on our proposed timeline, willingness to come to our venue meetings even with sometimes little notice, and always a quick smile and willingness to change things as needed.
  
  When our big day came, Jeff proved again why he was the best choice. Starting with the ceremony the music flowed beautifully and his selections based on our suggestions for the reception music was spot on. His dedication to understanding music selection and setting the candence for the night was amazing. He was quick to recognize the energy our guests were giving off and play the music that best suited the atmosphere. When our timeline went amiss, nobody could tell as Jeff adapted quickly as necessary to all our small changes.
  
  Our guests danced the night away and had a blast. Jeff even stayed and played some music for our clean up crew! We could not have asked for a better DJ, Master of Ceremonies, and wedding Guru.

  I hired Scottsdale Music Company for a company Halloween event and they did a great job. Jeff was cooperative, reliable and communicative. He listened to what we wanted and accommodated our musical requests. Best of all, he kept his composure and humor when a sudden rainstorm interrupted our outdoor event. We liked this company so much that we have hired them do do another event for us this spring.

  Jeff has worked many events for me and has truly been wonderful! Not only is he extremely professional and friendly but is also great at his profession. The services he provided as a DJ were great and really made our events. I would recommend Jeff King with the Scottsdale Music Company to anyone looking to make their event one to remember!

  The music and dancing was one of the highlights of my daughter's wedding, much to the credit of Jeff at the Scottsdale Music Company. Jeff was great to work with. He made time to meet and understand my daughter and son-in-law's vision and music selections for the ceremony and reception. There were some complicated set-up considerations given the outside venue, and they did a good job of adjusting and supporting. Jeff was able to do a real-time music montage for the father/daughter dance, which was a highlight. Jeff and his team took some guest dance music requests real-time, which is hard to do and added a positive note to the event. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 vs. 4 was a little bit of last minute scramble to coordinate the first dance and Mother/Groom music selections, which had been predefined. Jeff will certainly integrate this lesson-learned into his processes given his passion and commitment to his business. Scottsdale Music Company is a new company and a great choice that delivers value for the cost.

  It was a pleasure working with Jeff for our wedding. He met with us multiple times and was out at our venue on our first meeting date. He is passionate about what he does and brings that energy into his work. For our outdoor backyard ceremony, his ground level omnidirectional mic was not an issue in pictures and it allowed our 175 guests to all be able to hear our ceremony, which was very important to us. The sound quality was great for the ceremony and reception. There were a few timing and sequencing issues throughout the night. Overall, Jeff was a pleasure to work with and we had a day we will always cherish.
