Incredible experience!

This review is long overdue, but we literally can't stop talking about how much we loved our June 2025 wedding at Scotland Run!! We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The coordinators, the grounds, the service, and oh my goodness- the FOOD!!! Our guests continue to talk about how it was the best food they've ever experienced at a wedding. Working with Scotland Run was easy and enjoyable, and they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect (huge compliment coming from a very Type-A bride). We are so grateful and HIGHLY recommend the experience of a wedding at Scotland Run!!

May wedding

Everything went seamlessly. The pavilion is a great location for the service. The observatory and ballroom opening up to the balcony overlooking the golf course was a nice touch for our guests.

The perfect South Jersey wedding venue!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Scotland Run! The space was already stunning, but with the recent renovations before our big day, it was absolutely breathtaking.
The entire team was incredible to work with—so thorough during the planning process and always quick to answer any questions we had along the way. Everything ran so smoothly, and we truly felt supported from start to finish.
And the food—wow! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. It was a perfect night in every way. Highly recommend Scotland Run to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing staff!

Everything I could of dreamt of

Our wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club was everything I had ever dreamt of and more! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking scenery, elegant atmosphere, and impeccable service.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with lush green fairways and a picturesque backdrop that made for the most beautiful photos. The ballroom was elegant and perfectly set up to create a romantic and timeless ambiance. Every detail was executed flawlessly, making our special day feel like a true fairytale.
The staff at Scotland Run went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the entire planning process seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like VIPs from start to finish.
And the food—oh my goodness! The cuisine was simply to die for. Every dish was prepared to perfection, and our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The drinks were equally impressive, with a fantastic selection that kept everyone celebrating all night long.

The wedding of our dreams!!

My husband and I got married at the Scotland Run Golf Club in September 2024 and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! From the very first time we toured your venue to the final moments of our celebration, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning— gorgeous scenery, beautiful architecture, and the staff went above and beyond to make our day special. Everything was so well-organized and seamless. They truly thought of every detail, making our ceremony and reception feel like a dream. We had the honor to work with Marlo, who truly went above and beyond to make our dream become a reality. We never had to worry about a thing on our big day because we knew they had everything under control. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked, how attentive and friendly the staff was, and how delicious and well displayed the food was. Best venue choice!

Scotland run is such a gorgeous venue. Their recent remodel updated things and it is stunning! My guests raved about the happy hour. The food was beautifully displayed and delicious. Dinner was good too! My guests had such a great time the service was amazing. My martri d was the best. She took care of me and my husband all night. I am so happy I chose to get married at Scotland run. Everything turned out how I wanted. I couldn’t have been happier. Working with Marlo went smooth. She made it easy for me. I booked my date 2 years in advance so we had many communications over the years. She helped to make sure everything was done/paid on time. Marlo was very accommodating to us and made time whenever we wanted to come in for an appointment to talk. We were even able to customize our package so it crossed off all the boxes we wanted. My wedding was fully customized to fit me and my husbands wants. She even checked on me during my wedding to see how I was doing. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about getting married at Scotland run to DO IT! You won’t be disappointed.

Wedding of my dreams

This was/is the venue of my dreams. Everything from the grounds, to the ceremony sight, the pergola, to the conservatory, the terrace, and the ballroom is absolutely stunning, especially with the continuous renovations they’ve done. I planned my wedding half way across the country (currently living in Chicago) and Marlo, Leah, and team made all communication seamless for this type A- bride. Every question/concern I had was answered in a timely manner. I did not use an outsourced day of coordinator and I do not think it would’ve made a big difference because of how hands on I was with my own planning and how organized my mom, sister, and I were with all of my decor. Scotland Run set everything up exactly how I asked and everything was as perfect as I could’ve wanted. We were slightly under our guarantee headcount and I was able to do last minute additions to make up for the cost- I added an ice cream sundae bar and white claws. The food was excellent- so good, I still have guests talking about it 3 months later. Marlo and Leah went the extra mile for me to make sure my day was perfect and I could never thank them enough. DO NOT hesitate to book your wedding here. 🥹🤍 I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Our August Wedding

Scotland Run Golf club was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The value that you get for your money is absolutely incredible, we had the most basic package and people are still talking about our cocktail hour. The staff there is so friendly and helpful and they do everything they can to make your wedding the day of your dreams. The food was delicious the drinks were well made the the service was 10/10. Also - the venue is absolutely stunning. Our guests loved taking pictures outside on the balcony. You will not regret choosing Scotland Run for your wedding!

Dream Wedding

The wedding team at Scotland Run should be renamed the Dream Team. They exceeded all of my expectations when helping me create the wedding of my dreams. They were kind, friendly, passionate, knowledgeable, and understanding throughout my entire wedding process. The day of my wedding, the maitre D, was incredibly helpful and made sure I was taken care of during the entire wedding. I could not have asked to work with a better team and I cannot thank them enough for making my dream wedding come true.

Beautiful Venue! Amazing Food!

We had our wedding at SRGC on August 5th and everything was perfect. The venue was beautiful; all the guests enjoy the panoramic view of the golf course from the balcony. Marlo was very flexible and answered all my questions throughout the planning process. When we had our tasting, chef Laz came out to greet us. We were able to customize our stations for cocktail hour. Needless to say, all my guests LOVED the food. Everyone raves about the h’orderves, cold display, sushi and dim sum station, dinner entrees, desserts, and the takeaway cheesesteaks for days after the wedding. The food was superb quality and DELICIOUS. Some guests wished they could have more but they were so full. Our Maitre D’, Aislyn, was so helpful on the day of. She set up all the decors the way we wanted it, and honestly it exceeded our expectations. Small detail but we even got the nice bench for our sweat heart table to match with our ivory linen choice. Aislyn brought us food during cocktail hours, kept everything run smoothly from beginning of cocktail hour to the end of the reception, and helped us put our stuff together at the end of the night. The entire staff was very professional. My guests had a great night and it could not have been possible without the help from the staff at SRGC. Thank you so much for making our day even more complete. If you are considering getting married at SRGC, don’t hesitate because you will not regret it!

Best wedding ever!

We had our wedding at Scotland Run in April of 2023! It was absolutely everything we hoped for, and the day turned out even more amazing than I ever expected/imagined! We made a lot of our decor ourselves and the staff set up our decorations perfectly and completely nailed my envision perfectly even exceeded expectations. Marlo, Trinity and Lea were so helpful throughout the entire 1 1/2 year long planning process and answered our questions so quickly! Thank you so much for all of the help during this process! Also the cocktail our is the best ever and the food is so delicious!

Beautiful venue, great prices, delicious food!

The ceremony space is beautiful and like no other around here -- the cocktail our space is the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space. The food was phenomenal!! Best day ever!

We chose scotland run in 2019 for a 2020 wedding but due to Covid, we rescheduled to 2021. They could not have been more accommodating! I planned the wedding from out of state and they were always so responsive to my emails. The location was perfect, especially for all my out of town guests. Located so close to Philly which was a quick drive away to the airport. The venue was beautifully decorated for the ceremony and the reception was perfect. D-Nice was our head maitre-d and they were AMAZING. They anticipated our needs before we even knew that we needed it.

Planning through Adversity

Despite overcoming every adversity dealing with COVID19 and wedding planning, Scotland Run was there every step of the way. Our wedding planners were amazing and adjusted every detail as requested. The food was exceptional, the customer service incredible, and our wedding planner Michael was magnificent. The day before the reschedule reception, it was Micheal who kept the bride to be from having a nervous breakdown. Michael was present the day of the reception and ensured every detail was in place before leaving for the day. The decor was flawless and again the food sensational. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Beautiful!

Scotland Run was the perfect venue for us. We loved the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception with a wrap around balcony. Absolutely beautiful! The staff was amazing to work with. Michael helped us every step of the way. He answered our questions promptly and never made us feel like a burden. Very very happy! D-nice was so awesome! She made sure everything was going smoothly and really went above and beyond to take care of us on the wedding day! I would recommend to anyone!

3+ years in the making!!

I can't recommend Scotland Run enough!! What a team 👏 all the way back in March/April 2018, we looked at a few other local venues but fell in love, and ultimately, went with Scotland Run for our reception venue. Unfortunately, our original wedding date in April 2020 fell right around the time everything was shutting down completely due to covid. We were obviously bummed but honestly I think it worked out for the best because we couldn't have asked for a better wedding!! Derek, Marlo, Michael the whole gang was amazing to work with. Super responsive and helpful; these guys are pros and made sure everything went off without a hitch! The food, the wait staff (shoutout to DEE NICE!!), everyone and everything was truly incredible ❤ we highly, highly recommend Scotland Run for your wedding. You WILL NOT be disappointed 😎

Perfect Wedding

We recently held my wedding at Scotland Run (March 19, 2021) and we could not have been happier. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic, and everything was absolutely perfect. Michael and Derek went above and beyond with answered every e-mail, question, and concern that we had. Denise was absolutely fantastic and made sure that myself and husband as well as our parents were taken care of all night. The staff was so professional and made sure everything was ran smoothly. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we have received nothing but "what a great wedding" from all our guests. We can't say enough good things, and would recommend Scotland Run over and over.

Amazing!!!!

Where do I even start! Having our wedding held at Scotland Run Golf Club was the best choice we made! From start to end it was amazing! Micheal L. Was amazing so helpful and just made us feel so welcomed! The communication he had with us was great, any question I had he answered right away. Him and his team made everything look so magical. It’s a day we would never forget! Also Allison our maître d’ was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and just made sure everything was set for us through out the night!

The view was amazing, the food was great and again everyone did an amazing job!

Wow where do I begin ! Scotland Run's beautiful landscape is complimented by an equally beautiful staff . From the moment we booked Michael was amazing ! On our big day Allison was beyond extraordinary. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and how invaluable this woman is . From helping me with my dress malfunction to making sure I was enjoying myself the entire night she made me feel beyond special and made our day effortless . Helen was also super amazing and kind . The rest of the wait staff were just fantastic and so nice . The chef Laz food was out of this world delicious! He customized everything and really puts love into his food ! Overall this place and the wonderful staff have given us memories that will last the rest of our lives . Our hearts are truly full

The most beautiful wedding venue!

We had our wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club on September 28, 2019 and could not have been happier! The venue is not only beautiful, but everyone we worked with was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Marlo answered every single email I sent before the big day and on the day of Michael and Jessica were there for anything I needed (even when I needed to add an extra place setting to a table). Every staff member went above and beyond and our guests can't stop complimenting the incredible service, beautiful views, and amazing food. Our wedding at Scotland Run and absolutely perfect

We got married at Scotland Run on Aug. 4, 2019, and everything was absolutely amazing! From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to get married. We mostly worked with Alex, and she made the entire wedding-planning process so easy. We had an all-vegan wedding, and the chefs did such an incredible job of creating a totally custom menu that everyone loved (even those who were a little skeptical about the vegan food)! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous—so many of our guests have told us it was the most beautiful ceremony spot they’ve ever seen. The bartenders and wait staff were all great, and our maitre’d, Denise, was absolutely fantastic and was there for us whenever we need her on the wedding day. We are so happy we chose to get married at Scotland Run. Thank you to Alex, Marlo, Michael, Denise and the entire Scotland Run staff for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

Wedding 5/26/19

My husband and I got married at Scotland Run a few weeks back and we have heard nothing but rave reviews regarding our venue. Beyond the absolute perfection that was our wedding day, the team at Scotland Run leading up to the wedding was a dream to work with. Marlo was the one who booked us and gave us a tour. She was so kind and knowledgable. We primarily worked with Alex who was the best! She responded to all of my emails promptly and put my mind at ease. As someone who is prone to anxiety, Alex was such a calming force and her flexibility and positivity made planning our wedding a dream. Beyond the staff the venue was absolutely stunning. I loved the ceremony space! The flowers and water feature were huge selling point for me. The reception space which features an option for indoor/outdoor cocktail hour was another highlight! I would absolutely recommend Scotland Run for anyone looking to plan a wedding that people won't forget!

Absolutely Perfect!

We got married January 5th, 2019 and planned the wedding in 7 months. We worked with Alex primarily but also got to interact with Marlo and Michael took care of us on our wedding day. Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect everything was for our wedding. Alex always responded to my emails in a timely manner and was such an amazing support in helping me pull everything together in such a short period of time. She definitely took a lot of the stress out of the wedding planning for me. The food was incredibly delicious and we have heard nothing but compliments from our guests. On the day of our wedding, Michael was constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything and anything that we asked for he was more than happy to accommodate for us. There was also a server (I believe her name was Denise) that would check in on me and the groom whenever she saw us to see if we needed anything. One of our bridesmaids was in the bridal suite breastfeeding during the cocktail hour and Denise also brought her a plate full of appetizers so she would not miss out on the delicious food! We also were surprised by our parents with fireworks and everyone coordinated it perfectly and helped keep it a secret from us so we were genuinely surprised. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect and I would not have changed a single thing!

Everything was absolutely perfect!

Half way through our reception I turned to my friend and asked, "Is this day perfect or is it just perfect because it's our wedding?" My friend replied, "No, it's perfect!" There is no way that our wedding day would have been as seamless and perfect as it was without Scotland Run Golf Course and the help of Alex, Marlo and the staff.
Alex and Marlo were absolutely spectacular! They answered every request we had with PERFECT execution! Every detail was even BETTER than we imagined! They made sure the day ran so smoothly and absolutely nothing went wrong - everything was perfect.
Michael (our maitre de) helped bustle my dress and helped us we everything we needed.
All of our guests raved about how nice and friendly all the servers and bartenders were!
The ceremony space was spectacular and all our guests were comfortable in the August heat under the covering outside - the grounds looked absolutely amazing.
The food and drinks all evening were so delicious and perfectly executed!
So many of our friends and family have told us that our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to and we owe that to the professionalism and expertise of Scotland Run Golf Course. Choosing a venue is so important on your wedding day and you are in GREAT hands choosing Scotland Run!

Excellent ! You will not be disappointed with Scotland run!

I had my wedding dec 1st 2018. It was such a joy to work with Alex DiMattia who was my coordinator. She was very personable and delightful to work within our budget and make our wedding beautiful. She took any suggestion i had for my vision of my wedding and made it come to life. I highly recommend her and Scotland run for an affordable and beautiful landscape even in December ! The food is always good and they have a lot within their package to offer. Even the extended staff were a pleasure to work with! Rarely has a venue acted with such courtesy, integrity, and class. I can't recommend them highly enough. We were very excited to host a wedding there, having gotten a recommendation from a family member. Scotland Run worked with us on the food, drinks, decorations -- everything -- helping us stay within budget while planning a wonderful event. We were particularly charmed by the cleverly designed double gazebo, where both the guests and bridal party are under cover while enjoying a beautiful view. Equally impressive was the strategy for dealing with some pretty tricky food allergies and limitations. Unfortunately, the wedding did not take place, but Nick at Scotland Run went way above and beyond to lessen the impact of this. Scotland Run will treat you the way your own family would. If you are thinking about an event, you need to consider Scotland Run.

Amazing Venue!!!!!

The first time I walked into Scotland Run Golf Club I knew instantly that the venue was the one for me. Alex and Marlo are the best and are we’re beyond helpful every step of the way and made the whole process easy. Every guest raved about the food and the service. The biggest favor I did for myself was get married at Scotland Run! From the moment we started looking for venues I was looking for beautiful landscapes and modern, classic feel! I walked in to Scotland Run and met with Alex and my husband will tell you, I left knowing that's where we were getting married! The tasting was exquisite with Mary. We tried everything! All of the wedding questions I had and that my mother had and that my mother in law had were answered quickly and with enthusiasm! Alex always made me feel like our wedding was her priority! The day of the wedding was perfect and went off without a single hitch! Michael was a pleasure to have as our guru! He made sure that every detail was attended too! It was truly an amazing day! We heard nothing but compliments about our venue from guests about the food, landscape and staff! Do yourself a favor and book with Scotland Run and invite me because I want to eat there again!

Amazing!

I had my wedding at Scotland Run on September 29th and it truly was the best day of my life. The venue is so beautiful and the staff are so professional. Marlo and Alex are amazing and do everything possible to make it the perfect day for their brides. My guests are still raving about the food and how beautiful everything was! Scotland Run is a beautiful venue! We had our ceremony outside under the pavilion, and then upstairs for the cocktail hour and reception. The weather was gorgeous that day so we were able to see all of our guests up on the balcony as we took some pictures on the golf course. We can't say enough about Alex who helped us make the entire day spectacular. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding, she was there to answer any questions, calm nerves and give suggestions for other vendors. She and the entire staff at Scotland Run are so professional, caring, available and responsive. I also have to mention Michael who was in charge of me as the bride the day of the wedding. He helped to keep me calm, and he made sure that I had everything I needed the entire day! In addition, we had a last minute glitch with our officiant, and they sprang into action and the ceremony went off on time and without a hitch. The venue, food, staff and service were all amazing. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

This review is so late but life got in the way for us. First, you really don’t need to look any further for a perfect 2-in-1 (ceremony & reception) site!!! You’ll fall in love the same way we did when we walked around the reception area and the outside. It’s truly breathtaking and the landscaping is gorgeous for pictures! Best of all—Alex and Marlo make everything so easy. I was beyond thankful for their helpful hand the entire time leading up to my big day. Alex was the biggest help and went above and beyond for EVERYTHING!!! When we met with her it just sealed the deal even more, you can tell right from the start she absolutely loves her job. The staff was amazing and the food is to die for— people are still saying how delicious the food was from our wedding. Scotland run was truly a magical experience for us and we couldn’t have been happier :) the skydivers and the bag piper were an added bonus in evening which was so cool!

My wedding here was absolutely amazing. We were having trouble finding the perfect venue and after one conversation with Marlo we knew this was the place. It's hard to know where to start with how amazing Scotland Run was - it was everything we could have asked for and MORE! From the very beginning, Marlo was absolutely FANTASTIC! She was warm, friendly, attentive, responsive, and so many more wonderful things. She made our wedding the day of our dreams.

The venue itself is literally a gem: the new cocktail room is STUNNING, the reception hall and ceremony area are perfect, and the grounds couldn't be more beautiful. There were so many great places for pictures! The food was so delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing it all was! Marlo made every day leading up to the wedding so easy - she was so accommodating and answered my million questions almost immediately. On the day of the wedding we had almost an entire table not show, and her team was SO flexible and accommodating about rearranging the dining room (During cocktail hour, no less) to fulfill our wishes. If we wanted it, Marlo and the team and Scotland Run made it happen.

We hadn't really heard of Scotland Run prior to touring it for our wedding, and we'll be shouting it from the rooftops now. It was truly an amazing experiences and the folks at SR made our day one that we will never forget - perfect from the day we toured until our wedding day!! They are the best. Get married here.

Where do I even begin?! I could not recommend this venue or the team that works there highly enough. In my opinion the venue is the most beautiful in the area... the flower garden/arbor area, golf greenery, brand new cocktail room and balcony made for stunning pictures. The food was delicious and I can't even count how many guests have raved to me about the service from the wait staff. We had over 220 people and everyone was made to feel so special and well attended to. The real thing that made our day so perfect is the people that work there. Throughout the 2 years we were engaged, I had so many questions/changes/strange requests and Alex was there for us every step of the way. She was beyond accommodating and flexible and is just generally a really nice person to talk to. I didn't hire a wedding planner and there is just no way I could have done it without her. Marlo was also so helpful and generous to us and we were lucky enough to have Meghan as our Maitre'd who was there for everything we needed on the night and helped it run smoothly. I agree with the other reviews that these are people you can really trust and make you feel that they are personally invested in your day. I am honesty still speechless about the amazing job they did and am so thankful!!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Marlo and Alex at Scotland Run Golf Club! They went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing short of perfection. Marlo, Alex and the entire Scotland Run staff worked tirelessly the day of our wedding to make sure things ran smoothly, that we were treated with the highest quality of customer service and professionalism, and that my husband and I were well taken care of (fed, hydrated and happy).

Leading up to the wedding, Marlo provided prompt responses, whether it be to offer ideas, resources or confirmation emails. She listened to our needs, be it budget or adding that personal touch, and made it work.

The hall itself was everything we could have asked for. It offered us the affordable outdoor rustic feel we had been striving for with an overhang in case of rain, a brand new cocktail space, and an air conditioned indoor ballroom complete with uplighting and a wrap around balcony with an exquisite view of the entire golf course.

We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was, not to mention how delicious the endless amounts of food was. We couldn't have picked a better venue or asked for a more memorable day! It was absolutely stunning and beyond anything I could have dreamt of. Our highest recommendations for Scotland Run!!

The club is gorgeous and is great for pictures! It is affordable too! The food and cake were delicious! The staff, especially Marlo, was amazing! They had no problems answering a nervous bride's million questions. The day of the wedding it rained and I still was able to get amazing pictures! During the whole reception, the staff made sure my new husband and I had enough drinks and food to eat while we walked around saying hi to everyone! We felt so catered to on our special day! I felt they went above and beyond to make sure our day went beatifully! I couldn't have picked a better place to have our afterparty at!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I couldn't be happier with picking Scotland Run for our wedding venue! We had a July wedding, and the landscaping was so beautiful! We had an overcast for weather, and some rain, and can I say FULL RAINBOW over the golf course! Service was fantastic, that I cannot complain about anything! I was so scared because when we booked, it was with Alex and JoAnn, and then a month and half before my wedding, Alex went onto another opportunity, and I was working with Marlo and JoAnn. I was scared, but Marlo picked up exactly where Alex left off, all details were taken care of. The day of the wedding, I had Michael with me, and he was such a sweetheart helping with anything that we needed that day. I have heard some stories about the bride and groom this year picking ridiculously expensive venues and they had horrible service and didn't get to enjoy anything because they did not have the staff help or were just rushed. I had none of that nonsense, it was perfect! The price is negotiable, so definitely take a look at what they offer for their packages and see what you need and don't need. They helped make it work for us. Hands down, the best, and our guests fell in love with how beautiful everything was from the outdoor ceremony to the crazy dancing at the end of the night!

I cannot say enough about the perfection of Scotland Run Golf Club as my wedding venue on June 4th! We looked at 11 venues as we were shopping around and struggled to find one within our budget that could accommodate an outdoor wedding ceremony AND outdoor cocktail hour for our desired summer wedding. Scotland Run was the last tour we had arranged but we knew as soon as we did the first walk through that that was where we wanted to say "I do!" This is the most stunning and well laid out outdoor ceremony venue I had seen while searching both online and in person - not only do you have the beauty of the golf course right there, but you have the garden setting that surrounds the pavilion, and the grandeur of the beautiful clubhouse itself! We were wowed from first pulling into the parking lot. But not only was the venue like a fairytale, the staff really made the experience truly flawless. We worked with JoAnn who is one of the most friendly, accommodating and responsive coordinators I could dream up! She worked within our budget to get exactly the package we were looking for. She remembered and executed every little detail I had requested and even accommodated day-of changes with no sweat! Despite JoAnn working hard, she never let it show and she always gave the kind of attention that would imply we were her only clients. Marlo, who was the maitre de when we booked the venue but had changed roles in the weeks prior to our wedding and was a huge help in seeing our day run smoothly. The new maitre de did a very nice job making sure we were attended to all night. Everything just went off without a hitch and we got SO many compliments on how gorgeous the setting was and how well everything was organized. The venue really sets the stage for the whole sentiment of an event and Scotland Run was everything we could have wanted and more! Thanks to much to the SR team for an amazing day! Scotland Run was an amazing venue! All of the people that I worked with including JoAnn, Alex, Marlo, and Michael were all very helpful and responsive. From the moment my husband and I stepped into the venue, we felt like part of the family. We live about 2 hours from the venue and they always worked with us around our schedule. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day and the second shuttle never showed to pick up our guests. JoAnn, Marlo, and Michael were there with smiles on their faces and were like a ray of sunshine through all of the craziness. They made sure that we still had the most incredible, magical night of our lives. They helped us meet our vision and turned it into a reality. I will never be able to thank them and the beautiful venue enough!

Scotland Run's pavillion for the ceremony is one the most tasteful and beautiful ceremony sites I've seen in the area, I didnt need to purchase flowers to dress it up. Having the reception and ceremony at the same sight was wonderful. Alex and Joanne were available every step of the way! It was a beautiful day.

We had our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception at Scotland Run last September. The gazebo for the outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful and our guests still talk about just how beautiful it was and it was one of the most beautiful outdoor weddings they've ever been to! It was everything that my daughter could of hoped for. The winding pathway leading to the gazebo, surrounded by flowers and gardens was very lovely, romantic and tranquil. The reception was perfect, and everything was taken care of! Not a thing went wrong so it was a beautiful, happy, fun, wedding! No stress! The wedding coordinator, Alexandria, was absolutely wonderful!!! She was always ready to help and give us advice and answered all of our questions promptly. Very flexible in the way you would like your ceremony to be set up. We brought lanterns to be displayed along the aisle, which they did for us, placed all the flowers, tulle, etc. where we wanted. I can't say enough at how they will go the extra mile to ensure that your wedding is set up the way you envision it! That was really important to my daughter and son-in-law! Food was outstanding, staff was professional and curtuous to all our guests. The outside patio was decorated in white tulle and in the evening, it's just so beautiful! I'm writing this review on their one year anniversary, and Scotland Run gave them a wonderful, complimentary anniversary dinner! My daughter was able to speak to Alexandria, her wedding coordinator. My daughter asked if they could possibly take a walk and see the gazebo, again, where they were married and they were happy to oblige. They lit the gazebo with the lights do they could see it again. Made my daughter's first anniversary wonderful!!! Price was very reasonable, too...a very important deciding factor for us!

I am so happy wirh Scotland Run as my wedding venue! Everything from the outside of the club, to the ballrooms and grounds, is lovely. The landscaping is beautiful and makes for gorgeous pictures. Scotland Run is an absolutely beautiful venue. Please go visit in person and you will see how gorgeous it is. The ceremony space was perfect. Our guests were all so impressed by the flowers and landscaping. It really looked like something out of a magazine! The view from the outside patio during cocktail hour can't be beat. Scotland Run Golf Club is an absolute dream come true to hold a wedding. Joann was the best to work with and made every step of planning as easy as possible. They offer all inclusive packages: table settings, center pieces, decor, table numbers, wedding cake, etc which made planning much simpler. Scotland Run is a beautiful venue. The scenery is gorgeous, everything is clean and the staff is excellent. The food was delicious and everyone was commenting on the champaign. My husband and I could not have been happier choosing Scotland Run. Our wedding was flawless with the help from Joann and Mackensie. They are quick to respond with any questions and care about making your day perfect.

I cannot express my sincere gratitude enough to the ladies (JoAnn and Mackensie) at Scotland Run. They made our wedding day so perfect - so seamless, I had no cares or worries in the world. Everyone knows that wedding planning isn't easy and there are a lot of unexpected surprises, but Scotland Run was accommodating and helpful through it all. The food was outstanding and my guests couldn't stop talking about how much fun they all had. I'd highly recommend Scotland Run for any event you may have in mind!

Wonderful Venue! Everyone and the staff there are just so nice! The food was terrific too! Everyone was raving over the steak weeks afterwards! So happy we found this place after looking at so many others. The price was ideal compared to what the other local places wanted for a much lower key venue....It was perfect! Great place for beautiful pictures as well! Joanne is amazing that coordinates everything for you, very down to earth kind women who truly cares about how your night goes....Love her!

great food, private beautiful setting! my husband and I are golfers and were looking forward to getting pictures at the course/club - it turned out to be the wettest rainiest day of the year so cocktail hour could not be outside (still great inside) and we got limited pictures we anticipated, however, the pavilion provided cover and we still got great pics and we never would have gotten our favorite picture that is now a portrait in our house - black and white of us under an umbrella!

The minute my husband and I stepped foot into the room at Scotland Run, we knew we had to have our reception there. Kelly and Joann were a big help and worked with us to personalize every detail of the wedding from the menu to the miniscule details. They even allowed us to store our props for our out of the box entrance in their office so we didn't have to worry about them on the day of.

Our guest raved about how exemplary the service was on the day of the wedding. A guest in casual conversation was expressing to another guest about how much they were enjoying the food, but had to watch what they ate because they were diabetic. The next thing we knew, a server had brought the guest a take home box so they could enjoy the food later.

The staff at Scotland Run went above and beyond and exceeded all of my expectations!

All the help from the Scotland Run staff was amazing, I was able to plan my wedding with ease even though I live in Florida!! I am very grateful to the wedding coordinators and their dedication to making my day even more special!! The gazebo was gorgeous for our outdoor ceremony and the setting was just perfect. The food was awesome and my guests were very pleased with the service from the staff during the meal service and we especially enjoyed our bartender for the evening. All in all I would definitely recommend Scotland Run to anyone for their venue!!

I cannot rave enough about Scotland Run, for both my ceremony and reception. Everything was so amazing, to Jo Ann and Kelly (my coordinators), the mashed potato bar, the custom bulldog ice scuplute, to putting me in contact to their firework vendor. My reception is still talked about as the most amazing wedding ever. You would be insane not to check this place out. They bent over backwards to make me happy, even answering daily emails from me (heck, i was having a "platinuim" wedding, and they made sure I got everything I wanted.

I really think this was my "best" vendor. Hands down!

I can't say enough good things about Scotland Run. The building and grounds are just beautiful. The staff was very attentive all night - my family and friends are still talking about that! The food was great and everything was set up exactly as I asked it to be. Also, their Wedding Coordinator (Cynthia Lowden) is just awesome to work with!!! She took care of everything and was so sweet the whole time! I would recommend this place to anyone, even my own Sister!!! Rating - A+

We loved our experience with Scotland Run! We had booked another country club in the area a year and a half from our wedding, but it started having financial problems; five months before our wedding, they went into bankruptcy and we felt compelled to rebook somewhere else since they couldn't guarantee they'd be open on our date. It was a mad scramble to book another venue, Scotland Run was one of two available venues within 50 miles of our church. But from the moment we walked in to meet JoAnn, we knew we were in good hands. We put our deposit down on the spot, and within a month had chosen all our food and details. Scotland Run was always responsive by email and phone, even though they're very busy. The day of our wedding was flawless; we had centerpieces that we'd asked them to set up for us, and they did a great job, the room looked beautiful, and the food was delicious. The staff was incredible- JoAnn and the manager (so sorry I didn't get his name) put out a seating chart fire for us with little issue, and we never had time to get upset about it. The servers were SO nice to EVERYONE, we had so many guests comment how wonderful the service was and how all the servers seemed happy to be there. For us, my husband and I never wanted for a drink or food; whatever we wanted, someone was there with it within seconds. And the bartenders made sure the lines moved quickly and the drinks tasted great (a huge plus with our crowd- our family and friends know how to drink and very much enjoy doing it). I never saw a bar line longer than three or four people for a 200-guest wedding, which I thought was pretty impressive. And the mac and cheese bar- it was a HUGE hit. People had never seen one before and absolutely loved it. If there were problems, I never heard about them, and everyone commented on how amazing the whole place was. We are beyond happy with Scotland Run and highly reccomend them to anyone searching for a venue for any type of event.

Awesome venue to get married at!

Scotland Run was suggested to me by my father after he attended a wedding there. I remember thinking “no way, I want to discover my own venue.” After touring the venue I had a change of heart because it is an absolutely beautiful place. As I planned my wedding the director (Marlo) was quick to respond to any questions I had and made sure every detail I picked was incorporated into my wedding day. One thing my guests raved about was the food and the atmosphere. It was so tranquil under the newly renovated outdoor ceremony pavilion and the food was 5 star!!

Thank you Scotland Run for a day to remember always!

I could not have asked for a better venue! My now husband and I wanted to be able to have a ceremony and the reception all in one place. Most other places we looked at would have had us taking pictures right next to the parking lot and were completely out in the open. Scotland Run's Wedding Pavilion was not only private, but the most amazingly romantic scene for our special day. As you walk through to the pavilion not only does the greener from the golf course look amazing, but the flowers and greenery were in top condition. I got married on 09/02/2016 and had looked at the venue the same time last year. It looked exactly as I had seen I had seen it that day and didn't even have to buy additional flowers for the ceremony. The cocktail hour was held on the balcony over looking the course, and had a few skydivers land right on the tee box for a little entertainment! This was not something I paid for or planned but it most certainly caught the attention of my guest for a nice wow factor. The food was out of this world! We had the filet and crab cakes for entree options but the coconut shrimp for cocktail hour is a must!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the venue and food as we made our table touches. I believe them too since most of the plates were completely clean by the time we talked to most of them. Our night would not have been possible though without the staff. Joanne helped me cordinate most of my night as well has providing me with lost of tips I never would have thought of like a first reveal so we could go to cocktail hour, and doing first dances in-between courses so we could mingle and dance with our guests longer. Michael was also our personal Maitre d' for the night who ensured we were taken care of. There not only were cheese, crackers and champagne waiting in the bridal suite upon arrival, but even as i was getting bustled after the ceremony he brought my bridesmaids and I a personal tray of horderves to ensure we were able to eat something.

Everyone was more than accommidating, they made my day so much easier on me, I didn't have to worry about a thing! My wedding was beautiful and it was thanks to them! The food was amazing, everything was delicious! I recommend Scotland Run to everyone!

Absolutely incredible

Our wedding was an absolute dream at Scotland run golf club. We couldn’t have asked for better people to work with Marlo was an angel she answered everyone of my questions timely. She never made me feel like I was bothering her. On the day of our wedding every detail was handled by her and our maître. Our whole wedding went off without a hitch. Our guest raved about the beauty of the venue and the delicious food. Our vendors even told us how much they loved the food and working with the staff at Scotland run. Truly made our wedding perfect

We had a great wedding at Scotland Run! The food and service were wonderful! Mackenzie assisted us on our wedding day and was so helpful! The only issue was the placement of the candy bar and photo booth. I don't know if we didn't specify a location, but many guests did not know they were there. I would suggest making it clear where you would like your favors and photo stations set up so that all guests will be able to utilize them!

Wedding Venue Review

Scotland Run is an absolutely stunning venue with excellent food! So many guests told us how much they enjoyed the food. They have beautiful flowers and greenery, a beautiful cocktail hour space with a balcony that can be used in good weather, and a covered open air ceremony space that also has temporary walls in case of bad weather. All of these items really drew us to the venue. Unfortunately, their customer service can be a bit lacking at times. We postponed twice due to covid and they certainly did not make it an easy or pleasant experience. When we postponed to 2021 we were forced to pay 2021 pricing. They attempted to add a new clause to our contract essentially saying that we could not postpone again even if covid was still bad on our new date. We wound up needing to get a lawyer involved and go through a lot of stressful back and forth to get to a point where we had a contract that we were comfortable actually signing. They have had a decent amount of turnover in terms of their wedding coordinators throughout our time planning (July 2018-September 2021) and we were sometimes told one thing by a given coordinator only to be told something completely different by another. One coordinator (who thankfully no longer works there) was extremely rude to us on multiple occasion, while the others have all at least been friendly and willing to answer questions. I’m very torn on whether I’d recommend Scotland Run as it is seriously a great venue itself and the food was so good. If postponing was taken out of the equation my guess is that our experience with them would have been much better although still not perfect given the communication issues at times.

Beautiful venue and great food. The grounds looked amazing for our wedding. Mackenzie, the bridal attendant, was amazing and invaluable. As far as flexibility we thought for the amount of money we spent they could have been alittle more flexible in some areas. For example we had to pay for the same amount of chairs for the ceremony as guest we had RSVP despite the fact that some guest were not attending the ceremony. On the day of the wedding we felt the wedding coordinator was a bit edgy and sometimes rude to our vendors and guest. Overall it was a beautiful day!!!

Coordination was horrible; food excellent

I would not recommend using them as a venue unless you hire your own wedding coordinator and they are on top of everything. The coordination here is unfortunately very poor, whether that is due to being overworked or incompetence.

It is especially frustrating given that, originally, their coordinators are one major reason we picked the place. They seemed to be on top of everything from initial discussions but when it came to the actual , most of the staff were not on the same page.

We requested food and drinks for bridal party and groomsman to be there upon arrival and even asked multiple times beforehand to make sure it would be there and it wasn't nor were there any staff coming by to the rooms to help. We had to go find staff to set up the simulator room, bring us food and drink, etc.

Once the food came they brought a single order of chicken fingers for an entire groomsman party. It may not be a big deal but it summarizes how much they had no idea what was going on. A similar situation happened with the bridesmaids.

In addition to that, they didn't come and grab us groomsman until the very last second before we had to walk down the aisle. It was very rushed and they almost made the bride forget the bouquet.

Most importantly, they charged us $1000+ for an extra hour at the end of the night only for the staff to start cleaning up an hour early so a lot of the wedding left because they thought the time was up. If we pay money for the reception to be until 1130, the cleaning crew shouldn't be turning the lights on and cleaning at 1030. I brought all this up multiple times and have yet to be in contact with anyone with actual authority to fix the issue over at Scotland Run.

There were a couple of minor issues you might not care about listed here but it just goes to show how they handle events. No one wants to have to deal with issues on their wedding day and no one wants to have to repeatedly reach out to try and get money back for services they didn't render.

If you want to risk it go ahead, the pros are that the food is excellent and the view is great but if I had to do it again I would pick somewhere else just on principle.
