Planning a mini wedding in the middle of a pandemic all the way from California should have been extremely stressful, but Schweitzer's team knocked it out of the park! Being used to California's competitive wedding industry, we were shocked at how easy Cassandra and Amy made it for us every step of the way. Responding to our dozens of emails and questions, being flexible and organized, providing so many details. We weren't able to travel up and see the actual venue until two months before the wedding and we were blown away with how perfect our custom package was. And when the weather shifted at the last minute, it was still a breeze. We were married on the Musical Chairs Patio with stunning views and the reception was in the Lakeview Lodge at sunset. The catering was delicious and there were so many options to choose from! Reception and Bar staff were awesome. The whole night was seamless! Thank you Schweitzer!Schweitzer's reply:

I don’t even know where to begin. You will NOT be disappointed. Schweitzer Mountain Resort (SMR) was such an amazing venue and the staff were absolutely professional and so helpful. I could not have planned this Covid wedding without their help. It was like hiring wedding planners without the extra cost. Cassandra, Amy and Kim were extremely communicative, accommodating and helpful. They made everything go so smoothly during the planning process and day of and had an answer or solution for every possible thing. My fiancé and I were planning the wedding sight unseen from Washington and SMR was seriously the perfect team supporting us and making our day so special and memorable. We could not have asked for a better venue or support on our special day. Cassandra and Kim played such a huge part in our wedding plans and day I COULD NOT imagine it without them. Overall the most perfect wedding and venue we could have ever imagined. We are still in shock at how affordable everything was too. You will not be disappointed in selecting Schweitzer as your destination wedding location. We will definitely be back to visit!Schweitzer's reply:

User1924153 Sent on 11/16/2014Working with Schweitzer was a dream! Our wedding went on flawlessly. Michelle and Ingrid guided us through the entire process. When we had to postpone our date due to illness about a month before they were incredibly gracious and understanding. We had to push it back an entire year! Schweitzer worked with us through all of this and held all of our plans until the following year. We felt like they genuinely cared about how our special day went and it really showed! I wouldn't change anything if I had to do it again! It was a pleasure to work with them! -

From day one, the staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful while my fiancé and I decided what our vision for our wedding day was. The event coordinators made sure every detail was in place prior to the wedding and I had full confidence that our day was going to be beautiful and exactly how I requested. Leading up to the wedding the event coordinators openly showed their enthusiasm for our wedding as if they were a close friend and I was touched by their support. During the ceremony and reception the staff was wonderful in letting me know what was going on and making sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed for everyone so our guests could have a fun experience too. I cannot say enough about how great it was to get married at Schweitzer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an incredible experience not to mention an amazing view.

My husband and I got married at Schweitzer about a month ago and are still hearing from our guests about what a wonderful & memorable experience they had! We were somewhat unlucky getting heavy rain & wind on our wedding day (we got married at the summit), but the Schweitzer staff went out of their way to ensure that we, and all of our guests, were as comfortable as possible. The wedding team from Schweitzer (Cassandra & Amy) are wonderful humans who were invaluable resources any time we had a question, concern, or special requests. As an added bonus, there is plenty of lodging on the the mountain, so guests don't have to worry about driving to/from the venue and we were able to spend lots of quality time with our friends/relatives outside of the wedding day. Schweitzer is an absolutely stunning location to get married that your guests won't soon forget! -

My fiance had dreamed of getting married atop a ski mountain, so Schweitzer was a no brainer when we were looking for venues. We toured the place with Cassandra, loved everything about it, and signed either that day or a few days later. We were introduced to their coordinator and tasked with filling out an Event Sheet, the bible that everyone would refer to from the venue to make sure all was as it should be. The shaky start happened when we emailed the coordinator, who was supposed to have reached out to us between when we were first introduced and now, to find out that she was no longer working at the venue. I felt it a little odd that we weren't told of this until we reached out, so I was a little hesitant after that. Cassandra and Amy (the new coordinator) delivered on the weeks leading up to and on the day though. They were both super supportive, offering suggestions, taking our ideas, answering all our questions because boy did we have a lot. The day went so smoothly, no major hiccups at all on their end (we had some guest issues, but nothing that derailed the day) and it was just the most perfect day. A huge thank you to Cassandra and Amy for all their work on our wedding!Schweitzer's reply:
