Wedding & Reception-DJ Services

I am writing to offer my recommendation for Brad Schroeder of Schroeder’s DJ Services. He is a well-known DJ in the Springfield area and has been recognized as one of the best DJs in the area. He is also reasonably priced without letting his services lack in any way.
Brad is a great DJ. He is friendly, professional, and takes pride in his work. He respected our wishes, while still setting his own with not allowing explicit music. We respected him even more for taking pride in himself and his business, to not be associated with that kind of music expectation. He took requests from the guests; however, he ultimately followed the wishes of the bride and groom.
Brad was able to adapt the music selection for our wedding to the guests on the dance floor. He adapted as necessary and took unplanned changes in stride. Brad was also fun and interactive with the guests, evident when playing the shoe game, encouraging guests to dance, and he even set up a dance off.
I highly recommend Brad Schroeder as a DJ for events of all kinds.

Thank you for providing the music and lights for my niece, Abbey on her wedding day. The purple up-lights matched up well with the rest of the banquet hall. Also, I noticed you played off Abby’s request list, and took requests as the guests walked up to you during the night. I know my kids had a great time doing the dance to “Thriller” during the night. The wedding reception was organized and went very well. I am happy to refer you when I can in the future.

Thank you for providing the music for my wedding and reception held at Sherman A/C on September 16th. I was relieved that you could do the music for the wedding after the piano player was not able to be there that day. The announcements at the reception were made in the right order and clear to hear on the microphone. We wanted to thank Brad Schroeder for being our DJ on June 17th at The Farm in Petersburg. He supplied the sound system for both the ceremony and wedding reception. We had a beautiful summer day and he played some very nice background music that helped set the tone for the wedding. He then transitioned to the events for the wedding reception. We were very pleased with the way he handled the announcements throughout the evening. He also played all the songs off of the song list we provided, my guests also said he played their requests throughout the evening as well. The polka music was greatly appreciated by my family. We wanted to thank Brad Schroeder for being our DJ on June 3rd at Illini Country Club. He provided the music and sound for our wedding and reception held at the Illini Country Club. The sound and music for the wedding was perfect on the first hole of the golf course. We then moved inside the county club for the reception. The toasts went very well with the use of his wireless microphone throughout the room. He played music off our song list and played requests throughout the night keeping the dance floor packed. Brad was the DJ for my husband’s military ball held on March 18th at the Wyndman Hotel for the Local 634 Bravo Unit. The background music was at a nice level so everyone could talk to each other. His up-lighting colors were red and blue in color which was a nice touch for a military event. He played appropriate music for the group and at a nice volume level.
Years earlier Brad was the DJ for my wedding and reception held in Springfield. He was very good at taking requests through the night. He also brought a great light show and we had many people on the dance floor through the evening. Should you need a DJ for any event I would suggest using Schroeder’s DJ Service.

I recently attended a wedding ceremony and reception where Brad Schroeder was the DJ for both events. He took care of all of the announcements for both the wedding and the reception.
Brad was very clear on the microphone for the announcements throughout the evening. The reception was casual and held in a nice tent with a heater. Even though it was quite chilly Brad was able to get the crowd going and get them on the dance floor. He took many requests and everyone very much enjoyed the music.
I am a co-worker of the groom and he and his family were very pleased with the music selection and the announcements made by Brad. The music was just right, not too loud and great to dance to. A great time was had by all on such a chilly evening.

Brad Schroeder was our DJ for our wedding reception held on November 18th at the Elks Club in Springfield. He arrived two hours early to make sure everything went smoothly. He had a great light show and 8 up-lights which helped the newly remodeled look of the club. He played mostly songs from our request list and also took many requests from the guests throughout the evening. Also he worked well with the many children that were there that evening at the reception. Should you need a DJ, we would highly suggest you choose Schroeder’s DJ Service as your entertainment choice for your evening.

Brad Schroeder was the DJ for our reception held on June 3rd 2016 at Hamilton’s in Jacksonville IL. Brad did a very nice job with all the announcements throughout the evening. He was dressed professionally and played all of the songs off of our request list that we provided to him, along with playing music everyone enjoyed throughout the night. Also he let the groom have a karaoke moment to sing the song “Sweet Caroline” which was a big hit through the evening. I was recently at a reception at Poe's on the hill, where Brad Schroeder was the DJ for the reception held on April 23rd 2016. My daughter was maid of honor at the wedding. Brad did a very good at the reception, he acted as master of ceremonies making all announcements through the night and kept everyone engaged in the celebration. He took many requests and was able to access his computer for many songs. The dance floor was packed and he played many different genres for all to enjoy. I have seen Brad in many different settings as a DJ over the years and I would highly recommend him for any event you have in the future!!!

Brad Schroeder was the DJ for my son Owen’s wedding held at the Sangamo Club January 9th 2016. He was very accommodating to my son’s needs and music requests for the evening. Brad Schroeder was the DJ for my sister’s wedding at the Route 66 Hotel and Conference Center. He was dressed in a suit which we appreciated and also played the requests off of my sister’s music request list. He also provided up-lighting, which added a great look to the room during the course of the evening. The guests danced the entire time of the reception and he also took requests from the guests. We had a beautiful fall day on October 3rd at Erin’s Pavilion for our daughter Ashley’s wedding. He also was the DJ for our daughter Sadie’s wedding on March 27th 2010 at Secret Recipes. The wedding ceremony was outside on the patio/garden area. Brad was able to work with both the minister and the violist to make sure the ceremony was perfect. Everyone then moved inside for the reception portion of the evening. Brad took care of all the announcements, organization for dinner, and the cake cutting. People were making requests and dancing the entire reception. We have seen Brad for many events, not just receptions, and would recommend him for any other occasions.

We were married September 12 2014 at Clayville Historic Sites. Brad Schroeder was our DJ for both the wedding and the reception. He played all of the music for the wedding ceremony and used his wireless mic for the minister and all the speeches during the ceremony. Things went great and we were very pleased about the way things went during the wedding itself. Moving on to the reception portion of the evening he was very organized, made all of the announcements and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We had many older guests from Kanas and we were surprised about how long they lasted on the dance floor. We had seen him at other receptions and brad was our choice all along.

Brad Schroeder has provided the music and lights for the last 10 years for the annual Illinois Association of Realtors Holiday Party. My husband, Gary Clayton, is the CEO of IAR and we have both been very impressed by his ability to people dancing, the light show, and his over-all demeanor in dealing with our employees. We thought so much of Brad that we hired him to do our son’s wedding at Sangamon Prairie Center several years ago. If you are looking for someone who with a great knowledge of music, interacting great with the guests, and just fun to be around, then Brad is your man. I have seen Brad Schroeder of Schroeder’s DJ Service perform many functions over the last 20 years. I have seen him at Holiday Parties, Weddings and other functions. I have been so impressed by his work, I hired him while at Big Brothers Big Sisters most recently as Director of Development at SPARC. I have known Brad Schroeder for many years through his DJ service. I was employed for several years at the Springfield Renaissance Hotel where he did many weddings. He always dressed in a professional manner, including a suit and tie, and always showed up promptly and on time. I now am employed at the Hope School and Brad and his staff do all of our student dances and will soon be doing our annual fall festival September of 2015. Brad Schroeder was the DJ for our wedding reception and my husband’s State Police Academy graduation, and also provided service for my brother’s medical benefit. Brad Schroeder did a wonderful job performing DJ services at my wedding reception on November 14th 2009. Prior to performing his services, Brad met with my wife and I several times to go over every aspect of the reception and our musical selections for the event. There were many dancers on the dance floor throughout the night and everyone was pleased with the services he provided. We were happy to have Brad Schroeder as our DJ at our wedding reception. We and our guests danced all night and we still reflect on those memories through the pictures. Most recently in August of 2014, I saw Brad and his DJ partner Nathan at my friends wedding. The reception was held outside of my friends home in a tent. Brad and Nathan were very accommodating to the guests including taking musical requests and any and all announcements throughout the night. The dance floor was filled with guests all night long. I would highly recommend Brad and Nathan and Schroeder's DJ Service for any and all of your events.

I had seen Brad do many of my friends weddings over the years, also several years ago he did a 70's 80's music night at a dance club and was very good playing the requests of myself and my coworkers. I was so impressed that I chose to have him at my wedding at Secret Recipe's on September 29th 2007. The dance floor was packed all night and he was great with taking requests from my wedding guests. The banquet hall was very long but the guests had no problem hearing the announcements throughout the evening. I would highly recommend him for any service or event anytime in the future.

Our wedding was in Las Vegas Nevada, we were looking for someone who had the ability to show the video of our wedding. We wanted to thank Schroeder's DJ Service for doing a great job on our reception on August 16th at Hickory Point Golf Course in Forysth. The up-lighting was a nice added addition for the evening, and it was something that many of the younger guests have not seen before. If you're looking for a DJ for a wedding or other special event, Schroeder's DJ Service is the way to go! Brad Schroeder is very professional, detailed, dependable and with 29 years in the industry, he knows what he's doing! Brad was our wedding DJ on August 30, 2014. He met with me several times prior, to go over exactly what we wanted and the order of the traditions at the reception (first dance, cake cutting, etc.). His prices are reasonable and the company provides many services including up-lighting in the reception hall, wireless microphones and a projector screen. The music he played was exactly what we wanted to get people on the dance floor - it was packed all night! He even stayed an hour later than we initially planned because everyone wanted to keep dancing! I got many compliments from friends and family members about how great our DJ was. We have used Schroeder's DJ Service off and on throughout the years. At our wedding they hit all the marks on time and got the crowd's attention. They helped everything run like clockwork and got our guests out on the dance floor until the reception ended.

We recently booked Schroeder's for a fundraiser and they made the entire day feel positive and like a party: just what we'd hoped for. They always dress appropriately and respect our direction of how we'd like everything to go. Book these guys! They are fantastic!

I would like to thank Brad Schroeder with Schroeder’s D.J.’s Service for providing entertainment for
my sons wedding on July 27th 2014. Larry was our D.J., my son is a IOF combat vet, along with a lot of his friends, there was much focus on honoring the military and Larry did a wonderful job with that. Our daughter was married on 08/01/14. Schroeders DJ Service provided the lighting and DJ Service. It was beyond perfect. Mr Schroeder was extremely professional, having all of the neccesary professional lighting and equiptment. His attention to exceptional detail was amazing. Brad Schroeder's DJ Service is absolutely top notch! I am glad we chose his service for our wedding reception. Brad did an excellent job with keeping everyone entertained on the dance floor throughout the entire night. There were times when some people thought they were ready to go home for the night but just had to hear what Brad would play next and stayed much, much longer. It is not too often I see many different generations dancing, singing, and having fun together at a reception. I couldn't imagine having anyone else as our DJ. Our reception was absolutely perfect! Brad personally DJ'd our wedding and I have nothing but rave reviews for him. He has a well organized way of gathering song information and preferences. he was easy to contact and update information. His price(s) are reasonable and competitive. When I realized the venue was not providing the projector for the video/slideshow, I panicked. Brad offered his and provided it within 15 minutes! His assistant had to drive to retrieve it. Because it was emergently needed and there were other venue issues, he generously offered this without additional charge. The sound system worked well, he had every song requested and did a fantastic job transitioning from one thing to the next (introductions, toasts, dances, garter/bouquet...etc).

Brad Schroeder DJ did and outstanding job for us! He was flexible when he and my daughter both had to cancel phone meeting for wedding music planning. Bard and his helper drove from Springfield, IL to CHarleston IL in a storm with a Tornado warning. He called me when he left to let me know he should arrive in plenty of time, but in case he had to take shelter and was a little late, he didn't want any surprises.He arrived in plenty of time and played everything we wanted (and honored our "no play"list). My daughter and son-in-laws friends and ours all agreed we have honestly NEVER been to a reception where so many people danced for so long! Great job, Brad!

We LOVED Brad! He was professional, fun, and played a wide variety of music throughout the evening. I had several guest approach me saying how much they loved the music as well as the presentation of the entire event. My family and friends literally danced all night! I used Scharders dj service for my weeding and it was a great night. the only thing i can rally complain about is brad did not show up like he said he sent a guy named Larry. I have to give Larry all great accompanists for the company. Larry was great with all he did he keep all on a good time frame and was very flexible with us on all even time frame at the end of the night. We had a lot of great music played and are dance floor was packed all night. I also like how Larry gave special shout outs to to me and my new husband through out the night. Ray (who works for Brad, the owner) actually DJ'ed our wedding. He did a wonderful job! We sent him our music list (for the ceremony, dinner, dancing, special songs, etc) and he had all of the songs by wedding day! Even some of the obscure, or less known songs. He was great at asking the right questions when necessary and knew how to DJ a wedding without stealing all of the spotlight (like other DJs we have seen). The only complaint I have is that we were originally supposed to have Brad and he told us 3 days before the wedding that he could no longer come. Thankfully he handled the situation in a professional manner and got us in contact with Ray immediately. Ray did a great job! We will recommend them!

For anyone planning a wedding, party, or any event, I would recommend using Schroeder's DJ Service. From booking to discussing plans for our wedding, Brad Schroeder was very helpful and prompt in responding to our needs. Our DJ for our wedding, Gus Martin, was professional and courteous throughout the event- he even came dressed in a tuxedo! Gus was helpful throughout the night and did a great job getting the crowd dancing on the floor. Within the first few songs, the floor was full and stayed that way almost the whole night. Gus was even thoughtful enough to replay the first song my husband and I danced to as one of the last songs of the night. Brad seemed very good at first, and he delivered on what he said he would. He even gave us a military discount. However, he was very hard to get ahold of, and he often seemed to add to my stress level about what he needed me to do. Also, I didn't even find out til the day of the wedding that he wasn't even going to be my DJ. I found out right before the wedding, when another man came up to me to say he was the DJ. He turned out to be good, but even he was a little pushy about the timeline of when to do stuff. We had forgotten to grab the toss bouquets for the bouquet toss. My Mom went to get them. The DJ coerced me into doing it sooner than expected, and my Mom missed the toss. She was devastated. And I had given them a list of songs that we absolutely had to have played (our special songs or inside jokes with our wedding party). The main DJ had promised me he'd get the ones he didn't have, but of course, this other DJ didn't some of them and didn't play the rest. He probably only played 4. I still had a good time, and he did good ceremony music for us, which was a real plus, but it definitely wasn't as good as I would have liked. I imagined dancing the night away at my reception, and it wasn't quite that good.

Brad was kind of difficult to work with. I never really felt comfortable with him and he seemed very full of himself. I've been to other weddings that employed his service and the microphones kept going out. At my reception he disappeared for a full hour and left his second-in-command in charge. We had some specific requests before the wedding we wanted to do and he was no where to be found. The guy left in charge was totally clueless so my bridesmaid and I figured out how to turn the mic on and also found the song we wanted played since he had no idea. He did do a good job of keeping the events moving, but I definitely would not book him again.

This DJ service had several bad reviews but after speaking with him on the phone, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. After meeting with him to discuss all the decisions I had made, he wrote down everything we talked about on his paper. I emailed him a list of all the songs we wanted played and bridal party, etc a week before the wedding like he asked . The day before the wedding he called to have me send the email again because he had lost the email with all our songs, etc. So, I did just that while we were still on the phone.
The night of our wedding, i walked into our reception hall to find red uplights, when we had told him I wanted blue. Not a huge deal, even though it was wrong. He played the wrong song for our cake cutting. When it came time for the first dance and the father/daughter dance, he quickly announced the dance and started the music before we even had time to find the groom and father. I was very upset that he didn't give us even a few seconds.
At the end of the night, he asked if I wanted to continue the dj service for another hour since everyone was having fun and dancing. So I paid $100 cash just prior to 11pm to continue on until midnight. At 11pm, most everyone left and there were only about 10 people left in the building. I went to ask him if we could just do a half hour since everyone left and he could just give me $50 back. He said, "oh no we can't do that, we can't prorate." I was a little disappointed that he wasn't willing to be flexible.
All in all the things were minor in the grand scheme of things, but when you spend months putting together all the small details of your special day just to have it messed up, it's a little frustrating as you ARE paying a professional big bucks for their service.

Mr. Schroeder himself was helpful, but he was not there the day of my sons wedding. The person we wound up being assigned to did not seem to have the information that was sent several weeks earlier, adding to the couples stress. He was also rude to the bride during the event. This DJ service was highly recommended, but we were not impressed.

Horrible!

BEWARE...We booked him for a wedding. He called 3 weeks before and left a VM about needing a Knee Replacement and couldn't do the reception. I totally understand things happen and/come up. He said that he would issue a full refund of $530. Told him I need that money back to find another DJ. A week later no refund, I called him again he stated that his car has been overheating and i will have to wait till he gets his car fixed to refund my money. So he was using that money to get his car fixed. Then i called him again a few days later and he said that he was getting kicked out of his house. Its excuse after excuse and no money refunded. Now he is telling me that he is sending a letter from his dr about his knee. I just want the money back that was sent to him for a service that he is not providing.

Horrible person

This man is a thief, I booked with him for our wedding, and he asked for prepay, he sounded trustworthy (I know, stupid) so I paid him the 500.00 for our wedding. A week before our wedding he cancelled, he double booked himself. Of course at first I was stressed but I figured out a solution fairly quickly, and figured we all make mistakes so I wouldn't overreact. I told him I got his message about canceling but I really need our money back because now we need to pay another d.j. Our wedding was June 10, 2021, I have avoided reviewing him in hopes to get our money back, but after numerous texts with either no response or false promises, it's become apparent that we are not getting anything.I have watched his fb page as he posts event after event and then tells me he can't pay me, I will tell u I have researched this guy, This is not the first time he has done this, and I have no doubt that it won't be the last, DONT HIRE HIM!

Horrible DJ. Couldn’t handle a bride asking for him to play her specific Spotify playlist, many other issues and when everyone wrote bad (truthful) reviews about him he has the audacity to sue instead of fixing the issue. DONT BOOK HIM UNLESS YOU WANT TROUBLE.

Terrible experience

I had booked the owner of the company months in advance to DJ at my wedding. The day before the wedding, we were informed that a younger guy, who is a cook at iHop, would actually be dj’ing my wedding instead. We were told to put together a 25 song playlist, which took us hours to put together the perfect playlist. At the wedding, the dj maybe played 3 of the songs. He was playing songs that all of the children wanted to dance to instead. At one point he was playing “elevator music” which he said is typically what they play during dinner. He fought with my bridesmaid and threatened to pack up and leave mid reception. What a nightmare.

Con artist

We used Schroeder's DJ service for my daughters wedding on 9/21/2019. I payed $750 upfront in January and was told and I quote " VOTED THE BEST DJ SERVICE"....... what a crock of s__t. Brad never even showed up or told us he wouldn't be there and the DJ crew he sent was to say the least less then high quality. The DJ is suppose to be the MC of the reception that definitely was not the case, she even miss pronounced the brides name ..... WOW what a quality DJ that is. They did have two speakers a microphone and a laptop so i guess that qualifies as a sound system but the light show was more like four flashing Christmas lights on a stand just slightly above table height and three more that they shined on walls that they called up-lighting....... not what i would call top quality. They didn't play any requests from the group, I don't even think Brad took the time to make them a play list of the songs we requested to hear. We spent a large part of the night listening to club mixes and trying to dance to songs we had never heard. I already know in his rebuttal he will say they were all drunk and aggressive but that it the objective to have a few drinks and a lot of fun with friends and if you are not having fun because of them then some people do tend to get upset. My daughters wedding was perfect. It was beautiful right up until she cried out of disappointment over the quality of the DJ that showed up. I hope people take the time to read this and other reviews before being sucked in by this charismatic con artist. His service is a sham it is very unprofessional and very low quality. A 12 year old with an Ipod and a string of Christmas lights could have done a better job. Brad won't except my phone calls and went straight to assaulting my character with texts. Don't be fooled by this lair he is not what you think you are getting. THANKS BRAD !!!!!!!!!!

Never use him!! We met 5 days before the wedding and discussed details. Leaving saying see you Saturday. He didn't show up, 2 other random people did. No voice mail was left or email sent to explain why he did not come. We requested to fade out the mother/son, father/daughter dance... never happened. Requested the shoe game with no living together questions... those questions were asked. We did the anniversary dance they did it backwards and completely messed it up. They did not announce the cake was ready to be eaten. The person that did come kept yelling at everyone to dance that was just weird.

My husband and I were very disappointed that we chose Schrodeders DJ Service. Brad was incredibly responsive in contacting us until we finally signed a contract and paid him (5 months before the wedding). He told us that HE would our DJ. Then he dropped off the the face of the earth.

When we finally were able to meet with him again (5 days before our wedding), we learned that the projector (we payed extra for) was a small pull up screen that had to be within 15ft. from the Dj's table. We also met "Ray-Man" and learned (after directly asking Brad) that Ray-man would be our Dj. Brad, the master deceiver, reassured us that Ray was very professional,experienced, and would now know all our plans & wishes.

Ray-man was completely clueless-followed me around for guidance during the first two hours of the reception as my husband and I tried to visit with our guests. He did a mediocre job---playing some of the "must-play" songs--until he played Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" as the final song of the night--it was completely absurd! Our experience with Brad/Schroeder's DJ Service was terrible!

I have heard a lot about this Brad Schroeder. My friends had booked him for their wedding. They enjoyed meeting him and talked him up pretty good. Unfortunately to their shock he sent someone else on their wedding day. They worked to keep their cool and I decided that I would do a little detective work. The DJ let it slip that he had know he was going to be their DJ for a few months. That Brad meets with him and gives him contracts for 2 months out. So that would mean that Brad straight face lied to my friends for at least 2 months. I asked the DJ if he knew that Brad had promised them that he would be their DJ. He said he wasnt surprised and its not the first and probably wouldn't be the last time Brad told someone that. I asked him why he would be part of that and this is what he told me: "He needs the money." So basically he is a willing participant in a scam on brides. Maybe it wouldnt have been so bad if had actually been a good DJ. But not only did he suck at life, he sucked at being a DJ too. I would not recommend this company. I have chosen another DJ in town and you should too!

Horrible DJ never go with him used for a wedding...he couldn't even perform simple tasks. music skipped and wrong song played as my wife walked down the aisle and too make It worse we had plans set over 3 months in advance!!!! His song selection was terrible not what we talked about and the assistant he brought did everything while brad played on his phone and refused several requests and was rude. If all this wasn't enough he started a fight with one of the groomsmen and then after the cops where called he quickly had his assistant who by the way was utterly incompetent and smelled horrible quickly pack up his things as he begged the cop not to be put in the paper..He quickly left without an apology to me or my bride. We contacted brad The next day and he had nothing but lies and stories to tell. He informed us there was nothing he could do and deal with it. All my wife wanted was him to make it right but nothing not even an apology from the wrong music to the bad timing and skipping of the songs even with him messing up the order of the speech and toast and introduction all the way up to him causing a fight he was all about maximum money with minimal work for the price he charges you can get a better DJ just about anywhere. It's safe to say he ruined my wife's wedding and to tell you the truth he never even cared from the begining.

Brad did not show up to our wedding. He sent someone else who was late because he went to the wrong location. The microphone for the ceremony and reception made so much feedback noise I had him then it off. Our first dance song skipped so badly our guests clapped a beat for us. My wife's first dance with her father was the wrong song and our ceremony exiting song was also incorrect. DO NOT HIRE THIS DJ SERVICE!

Please do not book Schroeder's DJ for your wedding. We were horribly disappointed that Brad did not show up, he sent someone else to fill in for him. He was difficult to work with and lied to us multiple times. Very unprofessional and full of himself. Our wedding day was perfect except for our DJ. The fill in DJ did not play the right music for first dances, and did not give us any information about where Brad was. Very unprofessional business and we regret giving him any money to be at our wedding.

Our family used Schroeder s DJ service a few years ago for a wedding. Our first complaint is: We were told directly several times by Mr. Schroeder that he would be the DJ for the day night but he sent someone else whom we hadn t met until the day of the wedding. Secondly....The DJ that he sent was caught watching pornography on his laptop while sitting at the table playing music. Several people in the reception saw this behavior and complained. Third - When we attempted to receive a portion of our paid fee from Mr. Schroeder because our event was ruined by this very unprofessional behavior, he was very reluctant.

We met with Brad Schroeder and paid him in full months before our wedding. He promised he would be there along with one other DJ. He called a few times to ask about finalizing the dance list...a week before our wedding I was told everything was good to go. The night of my REHEARSAL DINNER I get a phone call from some other man saying he would be DJing my wedding. He said he had NOT DJed in quite some time but was sure he could get the hang of it. The music I had requested ahead of time to be played at my wedding was not played and the music started SKIPPING multiple times. I would NEVER recommend Brad for ANY service. What a terrible thing to do to someone.

We hired Brad Schroeder and he WENT TO THE WRONG HOTEL! We hired him because he had the best price, but that was all he had. He was super difficult to get a hold of, promised he would be the DJ and was not, and in the end, did not even come. He sent one of his guys to the wrong hotel THREE HOURS away. Then, when we tried getting our money back from him (we paid in advance), he only went through with it after we filed a lawsuit against him. In the end, he still blames us for his HUGE mistake. We met with Brad 10 months before the wedding. Our main request was that he would be the DJ at the wedding. He said he would be the DJ at the wedding there would be no problems, we were the 1st to book with him. We paid for the whole amount 10 months in advance. We told him we heard rumors that he promises wedding parties he would be there and would send someone else to DJ. He said that would not happen. Two weeks before wedding we call several times he did not answer his phone. He left voice mails for us to email song list and request, which we provide long before the wedding. Of course BRAD DID NOT SHOW up and the DJ that was there had no idea what we wanted and had to bother the bride and groom through out the reception, including what music they wanted. I WOULD NEVER depend or recommend him or his group for anything. AND he does not care about his customers only what he can book.
