I would give 10 stars if I could!
When my husband and I toured Schlitz 2 weeks after getting engaged, we knew from the moment we walked in this was the perfect place for us. Beautiful, serene, clean, and breathtaking- this venue had it all. Everything from the ceremony space, to being surrounded by trees, the beach, it was all perfect! Bridget is THE BEST coordinator, whatever she is being paid-she needs a raise. She was so professional, attentive, and quick to reply to all my questions. Rylie and Abriana were so helpful the day of, they helped coordinate my insanely large and crazy family for the rehearsal, and made sure everything was absolutely perfect without me asking anything! They make coordinating with other vendors so easy, and every guest that attended could not stop raving about how beautiful everything was. I would recommend this venue time and time again, our wedding was absolutely perfect with Schlitz, and we cannot be more grateful.Schlitz Audubon Nature Center's reply:

Wedding of our dreams!
First of all the venue is spectacular. From the Ceremony and happy hour to the reception, everything was naturally so beautiful. Jessica and the Schlitz coordinators were so responsive and helpful. They organized everything we could think of for our big day. The venue and rentals add up for pricing, however, their alcohol package was very reasonable and the bartenders did an awesome job. -

We couldn't have asked to have our wedding at a more beautiful venue. All of our guests were raving about how gorgeous the outdoor setting and the event space was. Jessica and Bridget were wonderful to work with and made the whole process seamless. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! We had our wedding in October, so the changing leaves and gorgeous outdoor photo spots made for beautiful wedding photos that I will cherish forever. -

We loved our wedding at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center! The ceremony was held amidst the nature center's trees and greenery at the pavilion location. The grounds include photo opportunities alongside Lake Michigan, a pond full of lily pads and tower overlook where you can see the lake and tops of the trees. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive answering all of our many questions and helped to oversee our vendors the day of the wedding. We're so grateful for their time and efforts in making our day perfect. It was a wonderful way to support a local nature center through our wedding as well, which was very important to us!Schlitz Audubon Nature Center's reply:

Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with from planning our wedding, navigating the ongoing challenges with COVID, and during our wedding. Jessica is hands down the BEST vendor I have ever worked with. The Schlitz Audubon offers breathless and endless photography options to capture your lifelong memories in an elegant and timeless way. I highly recommend the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. -

The first moment my fiancé and I walked into the space we were in love. The timeless elegance and natural beauty completely sold us! Jessica is such an amazing event planner and is just as excited for our wedding as we are!

We got married at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center on 10/26/19. It was 45 and rain, so we switched to the backup rain plan and got married on the porch. We would not change a thing. The colorful leaves, the sound of rain on the roof, and the lights on the porch made our ceremony absolutely magical. Inside, staff kept the giant fireplace going while guests warmed up from the cold. Our guests raved about our venue and how it was perfect for a fall wedding. It was cozy and it fit all 90 of our guests without feeling too empty. The venue was also great for photos! We were able to do a first look on the beach as well as stunning photos up in the tower and on the boardwalk. We would strongly recommend Schlitz to anyone! -

Kristen Sent on 10/02/2017We chose the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center because of our love of nature and how beautiful the site is. Even if you need to use the backup plan for your ceremony, it is still beautiful. Logistically I was nervous with the timing of everything as it is a public space, but if you pick professional vendors that have been there before, they all know the drill and things went incredibly smooth. We worked with Jessica who was amazing to work with. She was professional, told us things straight, gave us great recommendations, answered our questions in a timely manner, and was great when dealing with my mom as well when she had questions and asked for advice. She was so accommodating and we really enjoyed working with her. They have amazing staff that made our day wonderful. The Schlitz Audubon made for our dream wedding and we couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you so much for everything - we loved, loved, loved our wedding day here! -
Amy Sent on 11/29/2017Schlitz Audubon Nature Center was the absolute perfect location for our September 2nd wedding. Everything was gorgeous and we couldn't have hoped for a more beautiful setting. Jessica Buehler (the event coordinator) was fantastic to work with throughout the process. She was extremely organized and professional from the start and if it wasn't for her, our wedding wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did; especially when it rain stormed and the ceremony had to be moved to the veranda at the very last minute. We originally planned to get married at the outdoor pavilion, and had our hearts set on that location until the downpour. However, the veranda wound up being even more perfect and beautiful than we had imagined. It fit all of our 115 guests easily, and provided a more intimate atmosphere (especially paired with the sound of rain falling behind us). It was wonderful having someone to help keep an eye on the details throughout the planning process and Jessica was great at communicating with everyone involved. We opted to include the owls in our package and we were thrilled to see them during the cocktail hour. Our guests loved the extra touch and couldn't get enough of the educational entertainment they provided. We were so glad that we chose Schlitz Audubon Nature Center as our venue. The outdoor scenery, the wildlife, and the building itself, all came together to provide us with the most romantic setting for our special day. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Jennifer Sent on 08/25/2017I had my wedding on 7/22/17 this year, and let me tell you, I have no regrets on choosing this site for my wedding. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous, the indoor reception was breath-taking, the service of the bar-tenders and Jessica, the coordinator, were outstanding.
I would recommend this spot time and time again to anyone that asked. If you like a forest woodland wedding, choose this venue for sure. -

We were a little hesitant at first because of the schedule requirements and our budget, but after seeing the beautiful scenery and meeting with Jessica we were in love! The ceremony/reception schedule didn't have much flexibility based on their open business hours, but by choosing their preferred vendors it ran smoothly. Jessica was incredible to work with from the beginning, she was responsive and a great resource. She made everything easier by giving advice and reassurance that we could pull together our dream wedding in 4 months. She was there on our big day to keep things organized and help us make the most of our once in a lifetime experience. All of our venders were great, but Jessica and Schlitz really made the day what it was, and we will be forever grateful!

Brittany Sent on 09/29/2013This is a beautiful venue if you are looking to have an outdoor wedding. There is easy access to Lake Michigan, where we took pictures with our wedding party. The people were very to work with and it is a very private venue. -
User1457564 Sent on 11/30/2013For my husband and I, this was really the only place to get married in Milwaukee. We ended up renting the pavilion to have our ceremony outside, and it was perfect. We kept getting compliments on how beautiful and unique the venue was. Would definitely recommend this place!
