The hands down easiest part of my wedding planning and the wedding day was having Scenic Hills as a venue. Dana was the absolute best and made everything so much easier with already having answers for not only my questions but the questions I didnt even know to ask. She made the day run smoothly and the planning that much easier just by having all of the information I needed and the experience to deal with everything that came up or could have possibly came up. The venue itself was beautiful and spacious and allowed for a comfortable yet elegant feel, and the food was superb. The pricing was great and it was so nice to have options where food and usage was concerned and it made it easier for me that the venue and catering were all together so it was one less thing to deal with. 12/10 stars!

Scenic Hills Country Club was the best spot for our wedding. Their prices are affordable and were right in our range. It's a wonderful one stop location for ceremony, reception, and catering. Dana was very responsive and worked with us, giving us options when we thought at one point we might have to have a morning wedding. We had several vegan guests attending, and she provided us us with several options to choose from for them. They were also accommodating for kids meals as well. The regular buffet was delicious, and if I had more room in my wedding dress, I would have gone back for seconds! We had storms the afternoon of wedding day, and they made sure everything was good to go once the clouds cleared and it was ceremony time. The gulf course is beautiful and made the perfect back drop for our pictures. We would recommend Scenic Hills.

This place was fantastic. Everything was just as we dreamed it would be. Dana was so helpful and informative. She was there with her sleeves rolled up to make sure that everything went as planned. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course. It was all very tasty. I would definitely recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding. You will not be disappointed!

Dana was awesome to work with, if I had a question she would almost always email me back immediately. I would highly recommended scenic Hills!

Dana and the entire Scenic Hills Staff were very professional and we had an absolutely wonderful experience!! I recommend them to anyone getting married that this is the spot.

Scenic Hills was the perfect venue for us! We had both our ceremony and reception here. The ceremony was outside on the pavilion overlooking the course. We used the ballroom and bar area for the reception. Scenic Hills is under new management and they have recently updated the facility. Dana was super easy to work with! Everything went smoothly the day-of. We were very happy with the venue!

Our wedding here was absolutely amazing, I couldn't have imagined it going any better. Dana was an absolute joy to work with and was so accommodating and sweet and was always wonderful to talk to every time I called or went up there with any questions. I met the owners the day before the wedding, when we were bringing some of our decorations to store there, and they were so kind and ready to help! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and working with Dana was the absolute best, hands down! She made the entire day like a dream for us, and went above and beyond. I have nothing but praise for her, the service, the food, and the venue as a whole!

The Staff was amazing. They made sure everything stayed on track. Dana is absolutely fantastic.

Our wedding was great! Dana was attentive and helpful the whole planning process. I planned the majority out of state and she was so accommodating! The food was wonderful and the quality for the cost was great.

I want to thank Dana for being so wonderful during my whole wedding process. She was so responsive and so helpful. She made me at ease! Especially finding out the previous coordinator was no longer working there lol She was so helpful to go over everything and start right where the lady left off.
I was very happy with my wedding day, everything turned out great, the food was amazing and the staff was awesome. They did such a great job setting up, watching over things, and keeping everything flowing.

Stephanie was great! She kept us in stitches the entire time. Stephanie was always accessible and worked with us on very difficult work schedules.. She kept us on time and was awesome in getting the venue prepared for our big day. The food was EXCELLENT! We have had so many compliments dinner and the pass around appetizers. We had a large wedding, so the kitchen could not hold some of the after dinner ideas, but it all worked out. The service was just as great! I wanted a plated dinner and Stephanie made sure we had plenty of wait staff to see that food was delivered timely. There was a small situation with the ac in one of the rooms, but it was quickly corrected and cooled down. I thought the value was great - consider a corking fee as opposed to the bottle fee if serving alcohol.

I would recommend that you meet with Stephanie and the chef!

Stephanie made planning a wedding easy for me. She even did all my decorating and it looked great. The food was hot and delicious. The staff was efficient. The venue was clean. You don't even have to know what to do, they handle it. Love it.

This venue is great for wedding & reception. Dana is very helpful with each step and super flexible with all those wedding ideas. The venue was well setup and services throughout the evening just happened. The staff know what they are doing so you don't have to worry about the details. Would recommend!!!!

This place is very spacious and beautiful, it really does not require too much decorations. We decor within a day and did not require to hire decor vendor whatsoever. Jesse was really responsive to everything you need. The menu was great, variety of options and not pricey. Definitely recommend for anyone that don't want to hire too many vendors and are planning their own wedding. I do recommend a DJ because although they do have a sound system, the volume is not loud enough. Overall, very professional and beautiful venue 🙂

This is a great place for 150 people. The venue is beautiful and it's almost like a one stop shop especially because they have a pretty good chef that cooks a wide variety of food. Down side is you can't bring your own food or drink, other than cakes and candy bar, but other than that very good accommodations. Ms. Dana really works with you even if you were a bridzilla like me and she is patient with all of your questions and concerns. The staff is helpful. Very affordable, glad this is where I had my wedding!

The price was a little higher than other venues. However, they have a wedding planner included in the package by the name of Stephanie Sawyer who goes above what is asked of her and takes care of the bride before, during, and after the ceremony. The food was Excellent and the staff is extremely professional. I would recommend this venue for any and all wanting to have a ceromny and or wedding reception.

Absolutely enjoyed having our wedding at Scenic Hills Country Club. The staff was very courteous, helpful and professional. The food was delicious...I could not get enough comments about the food. Having the ceremony outside and just walk over to the reception was very convenient. It was without a doubt our happiest day ever.

Dana was really helpful. She was patient. The only complaint I have is my tableclothes were pretty much just thrown on the table and upside. The food was magnificent.

They were willing to work with you depending on their availability. They we're very affordable and I was able to rent the entire building for my wedding, cocktail hour, and banquet hall for less than $7,000. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff and bartender.

Scenic Hills County Club is a beautiful place to get married. We used the outside pavillion for the ceremony and the ballroom for our reception. There are few extras that are included in the cost to rent and that includes house linens, plates, silverware, table cloths, etc. You also get an event coordinator that helps you through the process. The ballroom seats 150 people comfortably without a dance floor, but there is the option of renting the entire clubhouse if that's not enough room for you event. Overall I (the bride) was very pleased with the service. They offered me a custom menu for the dinner and were very flexible with the decorators that came in and everything. I would suggest using Scenic Hills County Club to another bride!

The wedding coordinator at the club is really amazing. She works with you to make sure you get exactly what you want on your wedding day!
The only problem that I had with them was for the rehearsal, the wedding coordinator I worked with had an emergency so they had another coordinator step it. I told her that we needed 150 chairs outside. I guess she didn't tell the other coordinator that because there ended up being only about 120/125 chairs out there. I had a whole group of people who had to stand in the back for the ceremony. I was disappointed in that.
However, the food is PHENOMENAL!!! So worth the price. Everyone loved the food.
There are a quite a few chips of paint in the walls and marks on the walls in the ballroom, so I definitely think they should fix those as they are an eyesore.
However, overall, Scenic Hills Country Club was pretty phenomenal!

DO NOT GO HERE! Brides beware. Do not have your wedding here please. Yes it looks pretty and yes they seem wonderful while showing you the venue but they are not. When we first booked when them we met with someone who was so willing to make sure you had a beautiful wedding I was 6 months out and had not heard from my venue I decided to call and I found out she was fired. They said they still had my wedding date down and I could make an appointment to meet with someone. I met with the manager and there food and beverage manager and the woman was pretty rude land didn't seem like she cared but I ignored it because the manager seemed like he was going to make sure everything was done. So I was now three months into the wedding I've called and emailed and no one has gotten back to me about setting up my food tasteing at this point I thought about going with another venue because I was so fustrated, finally someone did get back to us and I was able to schedule my tasteing. Now the day of. They scheduled a golf tournament during my wedding so while my cocktail hour was being set up there were people walking around trying to grab my food I was sitting there so fustrated but trying to let it go they opened the bar early when they weren't suppose to they promised the golf shop would go down they lied and didn't take it down they were absolutely no help at all while setting up for the wedding I mean it was horrible. The staff tried to steal some of our decorations and hide it under a table and my mom was asking everyone who worked there and finally she started to pick up table clothes and found them tucked away in a bag under a table. They did not save the top tier of my wedding cake after I asked them to. We were told we would have the event coordinator making sure things were going as planned no one was doing that at all they lied. Overall it was an extremely horrible experience and I tried to make the most out of it because it was my wedding day but it was horrible.

Six months out they were bought by the local University and we were never contacted to be told that all the staff we had been working with for a year and a half were fired and there was new staff that were taking over. Found out from our former wedding coordinator that was formerly employeed at Scenic Hills. Our new coordinator was actually a former chef with no experience and is actually just the sales manager for the country club. She felt it was unnecessary for her to stay through our rehearsal even though she planned to be the one to help queue music during the ceremony so she left shortly after we showed up. Since she didnt actually know when to queue music for the ceremony the timing for it was off a bit as we stood and waited for our recessional music and stared at her to signal it. At the reception we were seated and fed and she felt her job was done and left for the night before anything for the reception really started. Her reasoning for each night was she had been there all day, I thought that was what a coordinator was there for and did, stayed all day to make sure things went as planned and was able to take care of those that didnt. Without her I, the groom, was left telling the DJ exactly when we wanted to start the dances, garter/bouquet and cake cutting, which I figured she would be there to help us with. At the end of the evening as we were packing to leave the staff started shutting lights off and pretty much ushering my family that was helping gather our stuff to pack it and take with us out the door causing many things to be left over night. Me and my wife returned the next day to find that nothing we had asked to be gathered and placed together for us was done. Upon returning home we also found we were missing 8 of the 12 french-presses we purchased for our coffee and tea bar. After calling them I learned that one was broken that night by staff and they only had 3. We are still fighting with them over the last ones as well as poorly cooked food.
