  The team at Scene 217 was fantastic! My Mother In Law decided that she wanted to get her hair and makeup done two days before the wedding and the team at Scene 217 came in at 6am to make this happen. Rock Stars!
  Rachel did our make up and started subtle and than added more makeup based on our preference. Not only does she apply your makeup but she educates you about make up, cosmetics and all things along the way. She is amazing at what she does and a true professional. The bridal party received so many compliments regarding our hair and makeup and it lasted the whole day and night.
  Scene 217 is a boutique salon located in Little Italy. With it being smaller salon you almost feel like your at a friend's house getting your services done. You kick back and relax with your wedding party. There is no other place I would want to spend the morning of my wedding. Thank you Scene 217!

  I LOVE Scene 217. I go to Cerissa regularly for hair cuts/coloring, so it was so fun to have her and Morgan there as I got ready for my wedding with the moms and bridal party. They did an amazing job! The makeup and hair fit each person's personality, and everyone looked beautiful and sophisticated (the opposite of prom-y). I not only received tons of compliments on my hair style but also my hair color (which had a slightly intensified red tint to my natural color).

  My daughter had her hair done in her hotel room the morning of her wedding by a stylist we hired months ago. She had a trial run which we loved, but the wedding updo was horrible. Lucky for us, my daughter had an afternoon appointment to have her makeup done at Scene 217. We asked if they could do anything with her hair - they were wonderful. After washing her hair and starting all over, her hair and makeup were perfect. We are so grateful to Shelly and everyone there for being so kind and compassionate on this very special day!

  LOVE LOVE LOVE Candace and Cerissa! They were professional and sweet and they spent the majority of the day with me and my wedding party. They both handled the multiple requests from my sisters' to change and "improve" things. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted the first time for the trial and when it came down to the wedding, it was perfect. My hair and make up were the best they have ever been and Scene 217 set me up to look my absolute best on my wedding day.

  Love, love, love Debbie and her staff. They were fun, laid-back, and still professional on the wedding morning. Debbie brought 2 assistants and was able to do hair and make-up on 9 women in about 3 hours. I treated both moms and the bridesmaids to hair and make-up and was so glad that I did!

  I loved loved loved the women at Scene 217! They were so friendly and did such a beautiful job with my hair and makeup and the bridal party hair and makeup. One of my bridesmaids actually started going to them for regular haircuts. Morgan is great at makeup and she kept me calm on the wedding day. Love Candace and Sarissa too. Would highly recommend!

  I think I may just be a little out of touch with how expensive hair updo's cost so for a city this is probably an affordable or at least reasonably priced salon. Seemed a little high for me. However, the staff was very sweet and always responsive. I even went in for my "trial run" and hated what my hair dressed did. In her defense, she did what I asked, and it was just a bad option for me. But the rule is don't judge based on that so I told her what I thought and took a different approach and just asked her what she would do if she could do anything to my hair. She gave me ideas and told me why she thought things would look good. I felt good enough with her answers that I took a chance on my day and COULDN"T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER!
  
  She did this unique loop bun thing with my hair. I got compliments all night and to top it off she did my makeup flawlessly. Even at the end of the night (hair/makeup done at 1300 - reception ended at 2300) in pictures I look flawless. My hairdresser was Shelly and took the time and energy to listen to me and to do something on the fly, unique and special to me. It was fabulous.
  
  My recommendation is for Scene 217 and specifically Shelly and to just let her do what she thinks will look best! She will make you look and feel beautiful!
