Jason was amazing!! Our guests ranged from infants to a 95 year old and he was able to get everyone out on the dance floor. We met with Jason and told him that we wanted a hit of every decade with a modern spin and that is exactly what he gave us. He made our wedding dreams come true from his energy, to dancing on clouds and his sparklers! By the end of the night everyone in the room was on the dance floor having a good time. I would definitely recommend Jason to any bride getting married. He was professional, respectful and listened to us and our requests for the day!SCE Event Group's reply:

I could write about how good SCE’s Chris Obando was at our wedding all day, however that wouldn’t be enough. We had a 10/10 experience working with Kevin and his assistant, Teddi, for our wedding! From our very first planning call, Kevin was attentive, easy to talk to, and brought such a positive and professional energy. He truly took the time to understand our vision and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day.
As both DJ and MC, Kevin was fantastic. He’s super personable, fun, and kept the energy level high throughout the night. Our guests were raving about the music and how seamless everything felt. The dance floor was full all night long!

We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding DJ, Jason! He absolutely crushed it—the vibe was perfect and we were obsessed with the music all night long.
When the tent got too cold and we had to make a last-minute move inside, Jason handled it like a total pro. The transition was seamless, the music never stopped, and the energy stayed sky-high. He kept the party going without missing a beat—literally.

Wow where do I start?! When choosing a DJ I wanted someone who we clicked with and who had an amazing energy and passion. After meeting with Bobby from SCE, I booked him immediately. SCE was the best company to work with for our wedding! I communicated with Stephanie and she was responsive, helpful, and honest when it came to the add ons that we wanted and telling us what was necessary/not. And Paul Knox over exceeded our expectations for a DJ! We got married at Bear Brook Valley on Thanksgiving Eve, one of the biggest party nights of the year, so I knew we needed a DJ that would have the floor packed all night. We can't say enough good things about SCE Event Group and our DJ, Jason Cohen. We were recommended to them by friends who had recently gotten married at the same venue, and they were spot on. Although we ended up working with a different DJ due to scheduling, Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Our wedding was a whirlwind of special moments, from a traditional Polish bread and salt ceremony to a Chinese tea ceremony. YES! ABSOLUTELY YES! Having a DJ / MC that set a good vibe and kept the party going while hitting all the events and names correctly was top of our list. We wanted to have fun, get butts up on the dance floor and have a blast all night. Casey and Eric were PERFECT! Every meeting we had was so much fun. Hiring DJ Seth Velez was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. When we began thinking of what DJ to use, we must have spent hours upon hours listening to samples from other DJs and nobody quite hit the mark, until we heard Seth. The goal was to find someone who truly reminded of us of what a DJ is, not too intrusive with MCing during the reception, ability to transition between songs, a classic DJ feel with a scratch table, and able to keep the dance floor going by assessing the floor and changing the songs up if needed. We had our special day 11.8.2024 and it could not have been any better. Paul listened to our vision and ran with it. It was so important to us to have our guests on the dance floor and Paul filled it all night long. We had our wedding 11-9-24 and decided to go with DJ Paul Knox from SCE Event Group. The entire process was so seamless from start to week of the wedding. He made sure everything we needed was taken care of and then some. The energy he brought really made the night great. My husband and I could not recommend SCE Event Group, specifically DJ Seth Velez, enough!
My husband and I got married in September 2024 on Long Beach Island and one of our biggest wishes for our weddings was to have a packed dance floor. Seth went above and beyond to make this happen. Our dance floor was pumping alllll night long! We have heard from so many of our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve been to. We also had a number of guests specifically mention how great Seth was.

It can be hard to know who to trust, but if you want to trust me - I cannot understate how much I recommend SCE and specifically Chris Atwood. One piece of advice I have is to put your dollars behind the PEOPLE that are running your wedding.
What's important when picking your wedding DJ? Yes - they gotta bring the party, yes they gotta be professional, but it shouldn't be understated how much they need to be comfortable in chaos and able to pivot with a smile. Jason Cohen and SCE Event Group went above and beyond for our wedding!! He absolutely KILLED it as our DJ - the energy and vibes were high all night - all of our guests complimented the music!
