Beautiful Flowers, High Quality of Service and Professionalism at a Reasonable Price
I worked with Vennissa for my wedding on June 19th, 2021. Right off the bat when I first reached out, she was prompt, highly communicative, and quickly understood my vision. Out of all my wedding vendors, Vennissa was the most efficient. The quote that she sent had helpful visual examples (vs the competitors without) and bang on to the aesthetic I was hoping for. If I had a question or felt there was something unclear or misunderstood, it was quickly resolved -- which is vital to alleviating stress on a bride! It is clear that Vennissa is a seasoned professional.
Scarlett Expressions was very reasonably priced, and the day of was beautiful, magical, and exactly as agreed upon. Highly recommend! -

The best of the best
Could not say enough good thinks about this vendor! She captured the theme and vibe I was going for just off pictures I showed her! She was more then accommodating with details and changing the time for the delivery I needed. She even made a special trip to give me my flowers at my hotel before going to my venue. She was professional and full of grace! I’m so happy I found a florist for all my future events! I wish I had all the work she did in photos but unfortunately I just have my cake and sweetheart table. -

Highly recommend!
My husband and I got married in June, and we hired Vennissa to be our
florist and event planner (after lots of searching). We had a tight
budget and figured we would save money by hiring 1 instead of 2
separate vendors. In a nutshell: she was AMAZING. Our venue provided
us a day of coordinator, but I honestly can't imagine what our day
would have been like without her. Weddings are chaotic. There's just
no getting around it, so the more confident you are in your
day-of-coordination team, the better. We had good rapport with
Vennissa right from our first email and phone call. We were initially
considering her as our florist, but she had such a warm and calm
demeanor--which is pretty critical if you're a nervous bride like I
was--that I ended up booking the coordination package as well. Me and
my husband were very thorough with all our vendors, probably more than
most... asking tons of questions, reading contracts word-for-word,
conducting reference checks... and we felt really confident when we
booked Scarlett Expressions.
She was always responsive over email or text and really helped us work
through a lot of logistics in the 6-8 weeks leading up to the
wedding... referring and calling vendors, negotiating pricing, putting
together a timeline, coordinating with the venue... she attended our
initial and final walk through and no matter what the question she was
ready to assist, offer input and just give advice on various aspects
of the wedding planning. She would check in regularly and make sure
we stayed on top of our to do list. Even though I pride myself in
being highly organized, her assistance was invaluable. And when it
came to our floral design, she worked off my pinterest boards and our
conversations to come up with design proposals that reflected our
vision.
The day of the wedding was a little tricky because one vendor
obviously can't be in two places at the same time, but her assistant
Debbie (who was wonderful too) handled the coordination of first look
photos/timeline, while Vennissa was setting up at the venue. We had an
outdoor beach ceremony and wanted a simple tropical vibe using our
wedding colors (green, gold, purple and peach) which she achieved, and she even found a way to incorporate my old raffia fans that I had pulled out of
a closet super last minute, into the ceremony design. She paired them
with palm leaves and flowers and arranged them on the aisle chairs.
When one of my nephews was about to throw a fit because he didn't have
a boutonniere or petals to throw or a ring box to carry, Vennissa and
her team quickly made him a boutonniere on the spot and avoided the
meltdown...this was literally right before he had to go down the
aisle! The ballroom was magical. Each table represented a different "tribe" and instead of having identical centerpieces, she came up with 4 floral
themes to arrange amongst our 12 tribes... each was a subtle variation
of a combination of palm leaves, greenery, peach/purple flowers,
and/or candles. It reflected the diversity of our guests but
also how we are all connected. Such a small but super meaningful
touch for us. And our sweetheart table was absolutely perfect... I
literally almost cried. From the moment we sent out our save the
dates, we knew we were going with a Black Panther/Wakanda theme
throughout our wedding and our sweetheart table really reflected that,
incorporating our wedding colors and palm leaves and an overall regal
African vibe. There were so many elements that we just trusted her to
handle and honestly never had to worry about or even think about.
That's exactly what you want when you hire a planner.
Ok, I've gushed long enough. I HIGHLY recommend booking Scarlett

Thank you to Scarlett Expressions for their beautiful decor and floral arrangements for my wedding day. Vennissa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was able to stay within my budget and worked with me through my indecisiveness. I was able to show her pictures of ideas and she executed my vision perfectly. She created our bouquets, which she delivered in time for our pictures. She also designed the altar and aisle arrangements, small centerpieces, and sweetheart table by taking some of my suggestions but elevating them to the next level. She was professional and worked with the venue on setup and breakdown times which all went smoothly. Everything about our experience with Scarlett Expressions was flawless and the evidence is displayed in our beautiful pictures. She is a master at floral arrangements, decor, planning, and day of coordination. Vennissa was everything we were looking for (and more) in a day of coordinator. She was thorough in her preparation, and actually helped us avoid some issues with the catering staff and party rentals by pointing out potential problems with my party rentals order early.
She sent us guides and directions to help plan, and had a few phone calls with us before the date to get all our preferences.
On the day of the wedding we were not disappointed. The centerpieces she designed were amazing, and I know there were lots of details she ironed out before we got there to make our reception perfect. There were a lot of moving parts, vendors, all separate, coming in. And she made it work!Scarlett Expressions's reply:

Nothing I can say will explain how amazing and professional she is. Hiring Vennissa at what she’s is best will be one of the greatest things you can do to make your day easy and normal. Being a bride was amazing but at the same time stressful. Having Vennissa as my wedding coordinator was the best investment I could’ve done for my self, husband and our guest.

Tamara Sent on 06/01/2019A lot of missteps in executing my wedding, look elsewhere
Overall the team was disorganized, disengaged, uncommunicative and failed to effectively troubleshoot. These observations were confirmed by the unsolicited feedback the night of/day after my wedding by almost all of my vendors who remarked that the lead coordinator/owner seemed unsure of what was going on for most of the night. Of the ten things Scarlett Expressions offers as part of their month of/day of package this team failed to adequately execute on half of those things for my wedding two weeks ago.
The lack of organization and proper communication appeared most prominently during the wedding day rehearsal. My husband and I opted not to do a first look but were both scheduled to enter down our venue’s grand staircase. As I was placed at the foot of the staircase by one of her team members, I realized he wasn’t yet in the ceremony space and would appear where I was at any moment. The team member was nonchalant and had no info or ETA on where my now husband was in the venue. Thinking on my feet with my venue coordinator I was able to hide behind a wall and preserve our special moment of not seeing each other until I walked down the aisle. I would have been inconsolable if that moment was ruined and it nearly was.
Ineffective troubleshooting was most prominent for dinner. Despite several seating charts (and me being in the dinner space for photos and thus available for questions) almost a third of the tables had people in the wrong spot. Thankfully, my aunt and one of my bridesmaids jumped in to help smooth things over. My in laws, who were to be at the table closest to us, were placed in the back of the room.
Throughout various points of the night I found myself stepping away to adjust things that were being set up incorrectly, despite sending detailed instructions and photos. For example, the wrong chairs were being used for cocktail hour, the entryway had things in the wrong order, etc. Worst of all the team never set up our photo booth which meant we lost precious photo memories and wasted the hundreds of dollars spent on renting it.
To her credit, the lead coordinator/owner did assist with an issue that arose with the beverages and worked with the venue to fill in the gaps when the wrong number of tables were delivered. Still, the constant missteps throughout the evening impacted my experience, though thankfully were largely not apparent to guests. After detailing my dissatisfaction with their services, they refunded half of what I paid. While I appreciate that, no amount of money can compensate for the time I lost with my guests because I was fixing things.
No bride who hires a month of coordinator should have to be involved in the way I was. You’ve taken great care to create an amazing day. Hire a planner who will handle your day with the care it deserves. That planner is not Scarlett Expressions.

I fully understand this is one of the most important days of your lives and no amount of apologies or monetary refund can change your experience. I want to say that my team and I were faced with a lot of issues from the very start of the day. There was a lot of miscommunication throughout the day. There were things that we could have handled a bit differently and we will in the future. I was contracted to work from 4pm – 1am day of but I worked from 9am – 2am. Non-stop there were so many issues and fires that needed to be put out and we did our absolute best to address them all. Again, I strive to make sure my clients are happy on the day of their wedding, going over and beyond as much as I possibly can. I hope that I was able to address all of your concerns through our prior email correspondence. -

So…I know this company will not be surprised I am leaving a review. It has been wayyy over due! First of all, I want to start off that I don’t have experience with their flower arrangements but the I will review about 1.Wedding bouquet casting Resin & 2. Customer service. So here we go:
Don’t EVER get your flowers casted here. EVER! My wedding bouquet meant so much to me and I wanted to hold on to a resin item casted with the flowers from my bouquet to hold on to a dear memory of my wedding day. HOWEVER!!!! After dropping off the bouquet to them, I didn’t hear from them at all. After being curious when it would be done I called and was always told “we need another week” here and there. It took almost more than 6 months!!!! Okay so in my head maybe that’s how long it takes, maybe they’re busy, and its okay I’ll wait as long as the quality is good! But i always had to be the one calling for updates and the final date was always getting pushed back! Finally, I received my casting and I noticed the flowers look like they were dead inside. This I will say - she did offer to re-do it again & I would keep it the extra casting with no extra charge. Okay! Cool so we wait AGAIN…Yall! it was almost a year after my wedding and then I don’t hear back from them. I called very bothered and they promised 3 more days and she would refund all my money back. Why? Because it still didn’t come out the way she wanted. So I’m thinking okay it can’t be that bad! So I finally see the product and it was HORRIBLE!!! This was a very important day and I lost a dear piece of memorabilia with this company. There were so many bubbles and the flowers were brown again!! They kept blaming it on the “flowers” but then why all the bubbles and why did the resin still feel sticky and so cheap. Sorry for the rant! I hardly ever write reviews but I would hate for the same thing to happen to another couple.
LONG STORY SHORT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE RESULTS. -
