Best officiant ever
Barb was awesome! She helped us tremendously to make our special day be everything that we had dreamed of. She went above and beyond with help and guidance. She became part of the family and we created a lasting bond with her. Not only did she help us with permitting issues to have our wedding on the beach but she got us in contact with the best wedding planner. My Fiancé and I had plans to get married at the end of May or early June. Her father who lives in N. Naples FL. became to ill and would not be able to travel to come and see the wedding ceremony in Indy. We decided to bring the ceremony to him in Naples FL. I made a request for an Officiant we a ceremony date of Saturday the 25 two days after my initial request.. This was a last minute Idea for an ailing relative it would not be an official wedding only a ceremony. Barb reached out to me, we discussed the situation she said she could work us into her schedule that day. She asked questions about us, about religion and how many people would be there. Because of the short time frame she prepared and emailed what she proposed to say and it was perfect for us. Barb showed up on time introduced herself, struck up friendly conversations with everyone, she performed the ceremony flawlessly and it was a success with just two days of planning and plane flights. Barb stayed a short time after the ceremony to talk some more and take some pictures. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and her calming personality. The value for what she provided in a short timeframe was excellent. I would recommend her to everyone.Say I Do at the Beach's reply:

We got married on March 28th at Sanibel Marriott Resort in Fort Myers. We live on the other coast of Florida and were so lucky to find Barb as our officiant! She went above and beyond by having multiple phone calls with us, willingly attended our final venue walk through to meet us, and attended ceremony rehearsal the day before. Our family and friends loved her warmth and energy and she made our ceremony perfect. Barb was so wonderful to work with. We booked her for our last minute elopement in Sanibel Island. We're from Connecticut and book our wedding in less than a week. We booked our wedding the week of Christmas and Barb was available by phone for any questions we had for her on Christmas Eve. We were so thankful for Barb's guidance. She told us everything we needed to do in order to get our marriage liscense in Florida. She also provided us with restaurant with details to consider after our ceremony. She seeked out spots on the beach she thought we would like since we physically couldnt be there until the ceremony. We highly recommend Barb. Perfect from start to finish!!!!
Using this service was the best choice I have ever made. They were extremely courteous, professional, and flexible. We had to change locations a few times and it came to the point that Lisa would come to the house and ride to the location with us. The ceremony she performed was beautiful and intimate. My fiancé and I had a spontaneous elopement in Naples and needed an officiant on very short notice. After thorough research, Barb was the first officiant we contacted after seeing so many glowing reviews. She responded almost immediately and followed through with smooth and prompt communication. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and truly invested in making our ceremony feel personal and meaningful. She drove over an hour to be with us, which already showed how dedicated she is—but she went even further above and beyond on the day of.
Barb and her husband Wayne made sure everything ran smoothly, with a calm and reassuring presence. My fiancé and I didn't know what to expect when it came to eloping, if the ceremony would be too short or feel unnecessary, but Barb put together something beautiful and magical - and I'll never forget my fiancé tearing up at the poem she included. She was so communicative, kind, lovely, informative to the local marriage process, and always checking in to make sure I didn’t need any help along the way. Barb is an absolute joy to work with. From the beginning, she took great care to get to know my now husband and I. We had a few calls prior to the wedding where we genuinely got to know one another. It was so high-touch and pure white glove service. Barb let us alter the ceremony readings and vows to represent what was most meaningful to us. This is not something many officiants offer and it made all the difference in the world for our wedding. Barbs words outside of what was scripted were so warm, loving and heartfelt. It honestly feels like she is family. She is so smart, accommodating and flexible and she made the process so easy for us. I wouldn't change a single thing about how the ceremony went- it was perfect and Barb is absolutely lovely. Barb was a joy to work with in planning our ceremony for October 2020. Our venue changed due to the pandemic and she helped ease our stress. Barb sent us a few different types of ceremonies and readings that she has done in the past, which helped us sort through our preferences. She took the time to structure the order of the ceremony since we didn't use a wedding planner, and learned more about us as a couple. During the ceremony, she spoke confidently and lovingly throughout the readings. It was important to my husband and I to have an officiant that genuinely cared, and Barb exceeded our expectations and more!
