Karl was a phenomenal DJ. He performed the music for our ceremony and reception perfectly. I had a few very specific requests that I was updating him about up until two days beforehand, and he fulfilled them exactly as I hoped. I 100% would recommend him to anyone who has an idea of how they want their wedding to go and wants someone to exceed expectations! -

Not only was Karl amazing in the lead up and planning process, but I cannot state how great he was the day of. Seamless MC work and perfect timing on all the moments of the day made our lives so much easier.
Lastly, the music selection and work kept our wedding dance floor packed all the way till the end. People did not want to leave! -

Karl has been a Godsend!
We had the chance to interview three DJs, and we were particularly impressed by Karl's quiet confidence and calm demeanor. We were also drawn to the fact that he is from Detroit (my husband is from Cleveland) and a dedicated family man, which aligned with our values. At first, we were a little worried about whether he would be a good fit for a wedding reception with a diverse group of guests, but as we continued to work with him, we became more and more confident in his ability to "read the room" and adjust to the crowd's vibe. Karl proved to be an excellent communicator, always professional yet fun.
Karl was always well-prepared, willing to answer our questions, and even helped us with a music flow sheet for our special day. We shared our playlist and the guests' song suggestions with him well in advance. Out of about 16 hours of songs on that playlist, Karl impressed us with his music selection and kept the dancefloor alive throughout the day (about 7 hours). He never made weird song changes that would disrupt the party's momentum. We love music and had so much fun, thanks to Karl! He kept things lively, and everyone informed about what was coming next.
A friend initially disagreed with our choice of DJ for our wedding. However, after hearing just three songs from Karl, even he was impressed with his skills. Our friend made it a point to let us know that Karl was fantastic and the best thing since sliced bread. We are so happy that Karl was a part of our special day, and we will choose him for future events, big or small. We not only appreciate his work, but we also consider him a part of our family for life.
If you're planning an event of any kind, do yourself a favor and get Karl on board! You won't regret it! -

We found Karl through a friend and had no idea we struck gold when we booked him! Maybe it's just me, but I did not realize how much of a DJ's job would include being the voice of the event. He was the announcer for the grand entrance, when to eat, who was dancing, where to go, don't stand there, quiet please, etc, etc. Weddings can be stressful trying to keep on schedule, but Karl's voice was cool, calm and collected the entire time.
Now- onto the music. We did a lot of our planning over email and Google Sheets which, as an extroverted introvert who has a too-busy schedule, I was a huge fan of! We did get together over coffee to get a sense of how we wanted the day to go and, you know, actually meet. We picked our big must-have songs like first dance, cake cutting, etc, but then gave him an idea of our favorite bands and a Spotify playlist left him to his creative devices. He curated the PERFECT playlist for our wedding. He can read a room and know when to play the dance songs and when to wind down. He was seriously part of the magic that make our wedding the best day of my life!
I would highly, highly recommend Karl to DJ your wedding! I could not have imagined anyone else for our wedding! -

Working with Karl could not have been any better. He was very responsive and helpful and made planning and preparing very smooth!
Our ceremony music was perfect and smooth along with entrances and first dances!
I do not think the dance floor was ever empty. My guests had so much fun and some even mentioned to us about how great he was the next day! We would absolutely hire Karl again, if you are looking for an amazing DJ.. Karl is your guy, we also added lights to our package which made the dance floor super fun :) -

Amazing experience with KP
Working with KP was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I got married in January and KP made our day extraordinary. He was so helpful in planning and listening to our input. We had several meetings before our big day and I felt so heard and cared for by him. He was both professional and fun - and an amazing emcee! The music was exactly as I had wanted. The reception was incredible and people (especially myself) were dancing the whole afternoon! -

Karl took into consideration every detail of our daughter's quinceanera and ran the evening seamlessly while working through some last-minute changes and minor glitches so that our guests would never realize. He was a natural at relating to the crowd and engaging them throughout the evening. He went out of his way to make the evening absolutely wonderful! -

I worked with Karl and one of his DJ's, G-NICE, since Karl was unavailable for my wedding. That being said, I was in contact with Karl for the entire planning process and he was above and beyond amazing. He was extremely responsive, very flexible and organized and made planning a breeze. The wedding went so perfectly and the DJ was a big part of that. He definitely brought the party and made it so much fun! Everyone was dancing the whole night which is what I wanted! I can't say enough good things about Karl and his team! I highly recommend for any event! -

Karl DJed our wedding and we had a BLAST. He was so helpful throughout the whole planning process, helping us plan the perfect playlist. He also MCed the reception and kept everything flowing smoothly. Our guests danced the night away and said they had so much fun. Karl was great to work with. I got in touch with him very last minute, but he made me feel calm and helped ease my nerves. He gave us exactly what we wanted for our wedding music and also offered great suggestions when we needed advice. Everyone had a blast. He helped keep everything coordinated and kept the party going. He also provided us with great audio of the night. He’s calm, cool and collected, and an excellent DJ. Super easy to talk to and just the best energy to have around at our wedding. DJ KP was the absolute best to work with. By far our favorite vendor and guy to work with during all of our wedding planning and day. He is super responsive with email and text, I never felt like he would forget our date. KP helped keep us organized and on time since we didn’t do a day of coordinator. Our ceremony music was perfect and he played all of the songs we really wanted to hear and we matched music tastes very easily. He got absolutely everyone dancing at our wedding. my biggest fear was that no one would dance or the music would be awful. But DJ KP DELIVERED & helped give us the best night ever. Everyone came up to us and said “this is the best wedding we have ever been to” & “wow, I want this playlist”. We actually we talking about doing a vow renewal in a couple years just so we can have KP dj for us again. We would absolutely love to work with him again! If you are looking for a DJ, you have found your guy! -

DJ KP was great! Our initial DJ cancelled less than a month prior to our wedding and KP turned out to be a blessing in disguise. KP was very professional throughout the entire planning process and was responsive by email, phone, and zoom calls. His work was well respected by all guest during the ceremony and the reception. For our backyard brunch wedding in Brooklyn, we spent a lot of time sifting through a lot of DJs which ranged from way too nsk nsk nsk Meatpacking District to microphone-bellowing Oakley wraparound-wearing dudes with 90s haircuts straight from Jersey Shore and Staten Island.
We got a recommendation from a friend for Karl, and he completely put both of us at ease. Karl is hip, professional, really responsive, and ultimately organized in a way that made everything super easy.
He checked in at regular intervals prior to the wedding, confirmed the night before all his details, was the first to arrive at the venue and set up, and gave us an awesome recording of the entire ceremony directly after. He got people dancing, was courteous and great on the mic, and had everything under control the entire ceremony. He also took the playlist that we had, augmented it with suggestions that were awesome, and completely controlled the entire flow of the ceremony to the dance floor.
Based on the number of compliments from people, he was most people’s favorite part of a wedding. Not only that, but in ultimate compliment, our friends who attended the wedding chose him to be their wedding DJ as well and flew him from NYC to ATL a few months later. The dancing was epic. -

I’d consider myself to be a very picky bride and an overall judgement wedding attendee. I also had a specific vision for all event details BUT the music.
DJ KP made the entire music process so Easy. I sent over some songs I liked, some deets about the event setup and a general description of the vibe, and I NEVER HAD TO WORRY ABOUT MUSIC AGAIN!
KP took care of business. Brought a dope set-up, had everything we needed for a tricky outdoor venue, put everything up and took it down like Batman without anyone noticing, and had all party guests BOPPING . Even our caterers were getting their groove on.
KP is also one of the coolest people you’ll meet. I assure you, you don’t want just anyone being the one person holding a microphone at your wedding - you want KP. Any event announcement you need, he’s got you covered and he won’t make it awkward. DJ KP will be the coolest guest at your wedding, I promise.
Also - he comes with a bonus. If you’re questioning anything else about your wedding, seek out the talents of his amazing wife, Lindsay Rae Designs. They are a killer wedding duo. You will not be disappointed. -

Top Notch Entertainment
DJ KP was amazing to work with. We first met him at our friends' wedding, at which point my fiancé (now wife) and I agreed we need to hire him for our wedding. He worked with us to plan our DIY wedding, from the entrance, to speeches, to playlists, through the end of the night... which we chose to extend because everybody was having that good of a time. We were so impressed with how our dance floor was constantly filled at the right times, how the music never seemed dull, and how our guests all seemed to enjoy DJ KP's direction on setting good vibes. I can't recommend him enough. -
