Matt was so easy to work with. He was very thorough, made sure to meet with us before the wedding to go through everything. The sax was awesome during cocktail hour and the DJ'ing after was just as amazing. He always seems to make each wedding his favorite one, I have been to many weddings he was the DJ for, always dancing, enjoying himself and that's one of the most important things about a DJ, to make sure they are into it, so your guests and you guys are too.

Saxman slim was a fantastic performer and DJ for our wedding on 11/8/25. Our guests could not stop raving about how unique and classy his saxophone performance was during cocktail hour. Perfect Wedding Cocktail Hour Music!
We could not recommend Saxman Slim enough! He played during our wedding cocktail hour and completely set the tone for the evening. The music was absolutely perfect and truly brought our whole vision to life.
In preparation for the wedding, Saxman Slim had excellent communication via email and allowed us to curate the song list to match our vibe and theme, which made everything feel incredibly personal and fun.
One of my favorite parts of the experience was that he was a surprise for the groom, and the reaction was priceless! Having live saxophone music at our wedding was my (now) husband's dream.
Our guests were smiling the entire time, and so many people commented on how much they loved the saxophone. It created such an amazing atmosphere and made cocktail hour feel like we were in a cozy 90s rom com movie.
If you’re considering live music for your wedding or event, do it! Saxman Slim truly enhances the ambiance of any event he’s at. You won’t regret it!

Saxmanslim was the perfect option for us because we wanted live music during hors d’oeuvres’ and cocktails but a DJ for the dance floor. He listens to everything you say/request and is such great energy. During certain songs he’d come join us with his saxophone in the dance floor, our guests absolutely loved it.
After having him at our wedding, my Dad has hired him for 2 holiday work parties and I’m assuming he will for more in the future.

The best DJ!!!
My husband and I could not recommend Matt enough! He was very response whenever we had a question and made us feel at ease at our pre-wedding meeting. He was very organized and kept the night moving fluidly. Also, we were on the dance floor the whole night! My wedding ranged from people in their early 20’s-late 80’s and everyone loved the music selection. Absolutely perfect for our big day!

Matt from Saxman Slim was a game-changer at our wedding! I first discovered his talent at the Riverworks wedding expo and knew he was the perfect fit. The saxophone music during our ceremony and cocktail hour created a magical atmosphere, and we were able to customize the playlist to our exact preferences. Once dinner was over, Saxman seamlessly transitioned into DJ mode, filling the dance floor until the very end. Dawson was exceptional! He was one of our absolute favorite parts of our wedding. Our theme was Vintage Romance and Champagne. Dawson was a critical component in bringing our vision to life. He is a very talented individual and we will always remember him. Guests of all ages raved about him even months after our wedding. Matt has been great to work with, he's very responsive and happy to cater to all of our music requests. If you want a beautiful classy wedding
My daughter used Saxman/Matthew as the DJ for her reception. I can't recommend him enough! He was very easy to work with and super quick to respond to our messages. He is professional and extremely skilled at being both a DJ and as a saxophonist. He has the perfect voice as an emcee and kept everything running smoothy and flawlessly. He listened to my daughters song requests and the music was perfect. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing. The best part for me was the classy saxophone music that he played during the cocktail hour. It really set the tone for something unique and special. Everyone loved it! You absolutely cannot go wrong with Saxman Slim. While attending my sister's wedding I heard beautiful saxophone music being played thinking it was just the dj playing from a computer. To my surprise it was all live. It definitely added a touch of elegance having a live performance at the event, and after meeting him myself and seeing, not only what a great musician he is, but a great down to earth human as well I had no doubt I wanted him as my dj. My wife and I were married 10/29/2023 and one of the biggest standouts and compliments we had was having a dj/sax player. Again....you can't go wrong here. Jason was awesome, we can’t say enough good things about him. He eased all of our anxiety at the meeting we had a few weeks before the wedding and we’re still getting compliments from guests about how great he was. Saxman had played a couple of my friends weddings prior to our and I knew he'd be perfect! The smooth saxophone jazz PLUS DJ offering fit our wedding beautifully. Saxman is easy to work with and guides couples through every detail and I'd definitely recommend him!
Our reception was at The Roycroft Inn in East Aurora, and Saxman effortlessly setup, and was inconspicuous before and between his operations during the night. He was great!

Couldn't Ask for Better Service
We had heard good things about Saxman Slim and decided to book for our wedding at Asbury Hall on 4/15.
Matt was friendly and easy to work with through the planning process. Our wedding was not super traditional, he was very flexible and willing to roll with it. The price also felt very reasonable considering you are getting both live entertainment and a DJ in one...
On the day of the wedding, he did a fantastic job with song selection, performing on the sax and DJing. He worked in most of our requests while blending in his own selections to make sure guests (of all ages) kept on dancing and having fun.
I lost track of how many people came up to compliment Matt's performance during cocktail hour and dinner, as well as DJing later on. Overall, we highly recommend Saxman Slim for your wedding or any big party!

Worked well with myself and my wife. Met with us ahead of time to work out any kinks. Was more than happy to let us send him a list of songs that we wanted and we heard all of them. Very professional, but also laid back. When there weren't a lot of people on the dance floor, he either got out and danced to try to get people going, or, changed the song to something else. First saw Saxman Slim at a wedding bridal show and contacted him afterwards.
Ended up being a very reasonable price had an excellent detailed consultation with him.
On wedding day he played beautiful live saxophone for cocktail hour and dinner and then DJed and did our intros for the reception. Perfect music choices and read the crowd, everybody was happy with the music.He also added an extra hour to our contract to play our ceremony music for an extra hundred dollars.

Saxman slim was awesome !!
We were married on June 18th 2022 and saw an option for music in a flyer from Marianthol inn where we had our wedding. It was a good mix between DJ and live music. Jason was great to deal with, from the time he got there he's starting helping us organizing things and helped out immensely. He felt out the crowd, did great with introductions, and kept everybody on the dance floor all night. Everybody at the wedding complimented on the music.

Great experience!
After seeing Saxman Slim in action at three different weddings in 2019. When we got engaged in 2020 there was no question about who we would choose to be the DJ for our wedding the following year. We end up having to postpone the wedding a year due to Covid and were married 6/24/22. Matt (Saxman Slim) did an amazing job and at a really affordable price. I would highly recommend Saxman Slim and would hire Matt again in a heartbeat. He knew just what music to play for the young and the old and really had our family dancing.

Matt was AMAZING & made our wedding day so much fun! His live saxophone music during cocktail hour was a huge hit & made our venue feel so classy.
Our 1st dances with our parents were a surprise to my husband & I and Matt helped arrange those selections for our big day, so it was one less thing to worry about. What a special surprise that was, we'll never forget those moments.
During our reception, he kept our dance floor JAM PACKED all night long. Highly recommend Matt; some of our friends & family have already hired him for their big day!

Saxman Rocks, best decision we made
We booked Saxman for our wedding last October and he was fantastic. Having our DJ playing the saxophone during our ceremony and dinner gave our wedding a unique flare that delighted both us and our guests. He also did a phenomenal job with the music and keeping the dance floor going. We received nothing but compliments and positive feedback from everyone who attended and we would recommend him for anyone looking for a quality and affordable DJ for their big day

Saxman Slim was incredible!!! We only had a wedding of about 45 people and he made sure to have everyone on the dance floor with his killer music selections. He also played the sax before our ceremony and during our cocktail hour. I am SO happy he was available for our wedding date because he was truly the best. Highly recommend.

Can’t go wrong with the Saxman!
My wife and I were extremely happy with Saxman Slim. We had a small COVID-limit guest list of 50 people, but the dance floor was consistently filled as Saxman read the room well and seemed to always play the right song at the right time (not to mention how great it was to have him play the saxophone before dinner). Incredible value for what he provided, if we could do it all over again, we’d pick Matt ten out of ten times.

Saxman Slim was recommended to us by our vendor and he was a fantastic choice! We hired him for our reception and the pricing was very reasonable and a great value. He is the perfect combination of DJ and live music! During cocktail hour and dinner he played his saxophone which gave off a great ambiance; however, once the first dances and formalities were over he began to DJ instead (side note: he confirmed the pronunciation of all our wedding party’s names before the announcements..which I thought was a nice touch) He was great at keeping everyone on the dance floor…including myself! He would even step out and join the party a little too! All of our guests told me how much they loved him and how much fun it was on the dance floor. We would highly recommend Saxman Slim to anyone…he was fantastic!

Amazing ceremony & party music all in one!
Saxman slim was so wonderful to work with! He responded quickly to all emails and then we met to discuss the music for the day. He was very helpful in suggesting songs/styles for the parts in the ceremony in which we were unsure of what we wanted. We loved the idea of having romantic music as our guests arrived, ceremony music, and an awesome DJ all in one! He even played my favorite song on the saxophone as our exit song post-ceremony. Then he kept the crowd going all night with all of our favorite tunes. 10/10 Recommend!

Saxman Slim was a great recommendation to us by family members since we live out of town. Matt did a great job with keeping the dance floor full all night. We are in our 60s and 85% of our guests were between 50-93 so we wanted music that our guests could relate to. My vision was a disco music reception so I provided Matt with all my favorite 70s and 80s tunes. It was amazing to see family members who never dance up on the dance floor. Matt also worked with our niece who performed a Luther Vandross song during our ceremony. Since my husband’s family is Persian, we provided Matt with a playlist of Persian songs which he gladly played. Thanks Matt for a fun night. So many people mentioned how much they loved the music which in turn made a fun wedding for our guests.

I can't recommend Saxman Slim enough! The saxophone music during the cocktail hour was a huge hit with all our guests, Saxman helped the evening run smoothly with perfectly timed speeches and first dances, and the dance floor was full the whole night! People still tell us how much fun they had at our wedding and that they've never seen a more packed dance floor! Saxman's music appeals to all ages and keeps everyone engaged and having a great time. He is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The best in town!

You need to hire this DJ
I can't imagine a better dj. Saxman kept my day organized and I never had to worry because of it. I was able to enjoy myself knowing he kept the entire night moving according to plan, right on time. He's obviously very experienced and so talented. He was taking song requests from guests on his saxophone during dinner. He played every song I requested at the perfect timing and added perfect songs to mix in. I genuinely am so grateful we found him. Every guests raved about him. Such value. Dont go with anyone else.

Dawson was just wonderful! So talented. The event was so classy with the Saxophone 🎷 playing for first hour and a half. Finishing the evening to great dance music. Wedding ceremony and reception
Saxman slim was our choice for our wedding service and reception. The service and attention to detail was exceptional. Our ceremony and reception was in the same facility. He provided live sax before and after the ceremony and through dinner service. Then performed as DJ after dinner played every song we asked for and made sure the children in attendance were engaged and dancing to. I can't say enough good things about our experience. The Perfect Choice!
My husband used to work banquet weddings and heard Saxman Slim play then. When we started our own wedding planning years later, we were so excited to see that Saxman Slim was still in business and booked right away! Jason B was our musician and DJ. Pre-wedding, he was very responsive and attentive, so easy to work with. He accommodated all of our requests and made us feel like he wanted our wedding to be perfect and how we wanted it to be. Jason is very talented and nothing was better than hearing his live sax performance during cocktail hour and dinner. Such a fun and romantic touch to our day. His DJ-ing and entertainment was also perfect and he made sure to play the types of music and specific songs we asked for. We received so many compliments about Jason’s sax performance and he helped make our day an absolute blast! 11/10 would recommend to anyone with an upcoming wedding! We had Jason for our SaxMan Slim DJ- he was great! Jason was very entertaining, read the crowd well, and rolled with it when we had to make some very last minute changes. Everyone loved it and had a great evening of music and dancing! We loved the atmosphere of the sax music mixed in with dancing songs, and he was so accommodating to the music/songs we wanted played during different parts of the event. We would 100% recommend using SaxMan Slim for your upcoming events!!

Dawson one of the guys who plays under the name Saxman Slim - was awesome, 10/10 would recommend again. We worked really well together and he played everything we wanted. We pretty much had the dance floor filled at all times. Cocktail hour went good as well. Unfortunately our venue made some last minute adjustments on us so the cocktail hour was in a different location at the venue. Dawson was able to adjust and roll with the punches.

Love Saxman Slim!
Saxman Slim (Steve) did the music for our whole wedding ceremony & reception! He provided the music as we walked down the aisle, performed during our cocktail hour (he's a great saxophone player) assisted with introductions, and DJ'd when it was time to dance! We had Saxman Slim for our daughter's wedding & reception. What a great choice and wonderful experience!
Matt worked with us to make everything perfect. He set up before guests arrived and serenaded them as they waited. He played the processional and recessional. It was so different from what we had seen at other weddings and guests were impressed.
Matt then became the DJ for the reception, which was a rocking good time. Especially memorable was Unforgettable, the Father/Daughter dance. Matt played along to the Nat & Natalie Cole version of the song and just enhanced the song and the dance so beautifully!
Matt kept the party going and left it open ended so we could extend, depending on the energy of the crowd.
We got so many compliments, with people saying it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to, with much credit going to Saxman Slim.

Matt was one of the best vendors I had on my wedding day. Not only was the saxophone the PERFECT touch to my outdoor cocktail hour, but Matt killed it with the music for the reception. The dance floor was full from start to finish. He was also the one vendor that I didn't have to direct AT ALL. I gave him my list of songs for entrance and special dances, etc., and we went over the timeline of the evening. From there, I left it up to his discretion to select all the music for dancing, because I had too much on my plate as it was. He knocked it out of the park. He was easy to communicate with, very flexible, so nice and so personable. All of my guests raved about him. I can't say enough good things!

Saxman Slim is a must-have for your wedding!
Saxman Slim went above and beyond for our wedding in September 2021 and our guests could not stop raving about him! Billy and I knew we wanted to hire Saxman Slim after seeing him play locally. We also loved the fact that he could play smooth saxophone beats during cocktail hour / the beginning of dinner.
A bit prior to the wedding we met with Saxman Slim to go over various aspects for the wedding, our preferences, timing etc. we had a non-traditional request for the parent dances and our first dance and Saxman Slim was more than accommodating to make our vision come to fruition.
Fast-forward to the wedding and Saxman Slim played perfect music on the saxophone for cocktail hour and the beginning of dinner to fit the mood. The guests could not stop taking about how amazing the live music was for this portion of the night. Onto introductions and announcing dessert, and the first dances, Saxman Slim then got the vibe going for dancing! He read the room perfectly as to what songs to play as the night progressed while taking our requests into account. Our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music for dancing as well!
Overall Saxman Slim was the most fantastic all-around DJ and talented musician that we could have asked for! Very accommodating, talented and overall a joy to have that made our wedding music perfect! Our guests still won’t stop talking about how great the saxophone and dancing music was!

Matt did an awesome job with our event on 7/25/21! He was very easy to work with right from the beginning. We postponed our event from September 2020 to July 2021, and it was a breeze to transfer the date. I don't live in NY anymore, so we had a pre-wedding celebration event meeting via FaceTIme, and all of our questions were asked. The day of, Matt absolutely nailed it. Our guests loved the sax music before/during the ceremony, and during cocktail hour. We gave a general guideline for music genres and a few "must play" songs. A couple times during open dancing, Matt expertly read the crowd and changed songs. Our guests raved about him all night long and in the days after our event. What we also loved is Matt got out there on the dance floor and had a good time, too. We would absolutely recommend him! 10/10!!

When picking a DJ, DEFINITELY consider Saxman Slim. He was amazing, professional and really made our night one to remember. He was easy to work with and really knows how to get a crowd going. One fear of all couples -- no one dancing, that was not the case! Saxman played to the crowd and had our dance floor full of guests the entire night!! The cocktail hour and dinner were also amazing, the saxaphone really added flare and the nice smooth music you would hope for!

My wedding day was filled with praise for Saxman Slim from my guests. They thought it was so unique and different to have him play at the wedding. Matt was extremely professional, and responsive to emails. We asked if you could play the Jurassic Park theme song during the ceremony, and he learned it and did a fantastic job. He kept my groom and I organized and helped to organize our wedding party/ people giving toasts. He took song requests and kept the dance floor full all night. I would have liked to hear more of the songs on the playlist we provided, though we know he had to play some modern hits and play different things based on his feel for the crowd. He was incredible!!!! The perfect Saxman/DJ would could ever ask for. From the moment we met with him to the end of the night, he was very professional and felt like ive known him my whole life. I wouldn’t have another DJ/SaxMan ever! He was so great. The whole party was so full of life because of him. We even had to extend the hour because no one wanted the wedding to end. I will be highly recommending him to all of my friends and hopefully using him for any other parties we have in the future.

The best decision ever!
Saxman Slim was AMAZING! All of our guests were in love with his beautiful saxophone playing and the high energy he brought as a DJ. He did all of our special requests with ease. He was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. THANK YOU SO MUCH MATT!

Sax music nice touch!
Saxman Slim was great! The Sax/DJ combo is a great idea and everyone loved the classy romantic sax music during dinner and he kept the dance floor full after dinner! Very flexible and quick responses!

Perfect Note
Saxman Slim was a recommendation from a few friends and we were lucky to see performances both at a wedding and in other venues. The sax playing is wonderful and it really is a nice addition to a wedding as it adds the live music feel without any of the potential worry or drawbacks. An excellent MC and worked with all the other vendors very well. No worries here if you want a smooth wedding. I can't recommend them enough.

Great choice of music for our barn venue!
We were very pleased with everything. Steve Rosenthal FaceTimed with our daughter and her fiancée because they were in Maine to get everything set up. Loved the saxophone music projected outdoors at a barn venue. We were very satisfied with all of it. Steve was very easy to work with.

Excellent Wedding DJ!!
Matthew was superb! Having Saxophone music play before the ceremony, during the processional/recessional, the cocktail hour and during dinner was such a unique classy feature that brought the whole event together. He was an excellent MC announcing the wedding party and amazing DJ during the party. He is very easy to work with and makes sure he has all the details he needs for the big day. He showed up early to make sure he had enough time to set up before the ceremony and before the cocktail hour. Everyone at my wedding couldn't stop talking about him for weeks after the event because they loved him so much! Not to mention he is sooo reasonably priced too. I would definitely hire him for more events in the future!

Guests couldn't stop complimenting Saxman
We hired Saxman to play "Perfect" along with the organist at our church for the ceremony and then for the entire wedding reception. I remember walking down the aisle hearing them for the first time together and I tried to hold back my tears. It was beautiful!
Matthew was great not only as a DJ, but also as a businessman. He responded to our emails in a timely manner always and you can't beat the price for his talent! WOW! We even had a guest who wanted to write him a check right then and there for his wedding that is TBD. Thank you for making our wedding so special!

Highly recommended for any wedding or event!
Having saxman slim as our DJ/cocktail hour entertainment made our wedding so memorable and special! He is amazing and went above and beyond - some people even mentioned they thought his sax music was recorded until they physically saw him performing! He exceeded our expectations and met every request we had from mc'ing and keeping our dance floor full the entire night! I highly recommend him for any wedding or event!

We just got married in August he was amazing! From the moment we met with him originally he was great, professional, easy to work with and he makes things very easy. Matthew is kind, works through everything with you and really knows how to read what kind of music everyone likes during the event
He played everything on the sax during dinner.. from Dave Matthews to country and sounded amazing on every song. I had so many people come up to me and tell us how awesome he was. People were still dancing at the end of the event!!!!
He was the first person we met with for music and I knew after my first visit he would be the best to work with.He truly is. When planning a wedding there are so many decisions; Matthew should be an easy decision if you want you guests having fun and dancing the night away!!

Best DJ in Buffalo. Phenomenal!
I thought I made a review and I never did! The one thing I found most memorable including marrying my wife was the phenomenal experience that Matt provided to all of our wedding guests! He was a true professional and courteous from the start. My wife and I met Matt at his home and he went over what we can expect from him as our DJ. He certainly made everything seem easy and stress-free, which it was! My wife and I had Matt play saxophone during cocktail hour and dinner service and he was fantastic. We had multiple guests coming up to us complimenting on the music. Throughout the night, he checked in on us to make sure everything was going well and would be accommodating to any last minute changes. When it was time to dance and party, Matt transformed into "DJ mode" and rocked the night away. It was so fun seeing him get onto the dance floor and dance with everyone. That made the night even better!
Thank you again Matt for making our wedding night so memorable! Please consider using Saxman Slim as your DJ. If you want a DJ that's professional, versatile, and extremely entertaining, then Saxman Slim is perfect for you!

The most talked about part of the wedding
I wanted a grand entrance and after my smoke machine and elephant (jk) were vetoed i was inspired by some videos online. He wasn’t so flexible and went with the flow and delivered exactly what I wanted. Of all the touches i put j to my wedding, Saxman Slim was the most talked about and the most appreciated. He played along with my Dj for our grand entrance and circled around as we had our first dances. If you are thinking of hiring him AND having a stand out event, go with him. You won’t regret it. I also have to say he was Very Very affordable. And worth every single cent. I will upload better pics when i get them back.

A wonderful experience
My husband and I were so thrilled with our experience with Saxman Slim. Matt played the saxophone during cocktail hour and dinner at our wedding. After dinner he packed the dance floor with his DJ skills. Our friends and family are still raving about the fantastic music at our wedding!
Our venue had 2 floors; cocktails downstairs, dinner upstairs, dancing downstairs. We were a little concerned about getting our guests to the right place at the right time, but Matt made announcements to let everyone know where to go. He really kept the whole evening organized and on schedule.

Steve was fantastic!
Steve was amazing! We loved that he took the time to play some songs for us the first time we met with him and helped get a better understanding of what we wanted our night to feel like. He ensured us every step of the way that he wanted it to be OUR night and exactly how we wanted things to feel and tun. Everything on wedding day was great! He checked in with us frequently to make sure WE were having a great time and if we needed anything. All of our special music requests were correct, (including some instrumental versions for ceremony music) and people were dancing all night! The saxophone playing at dinner and cocktail hour stole the night though! It was amazing. We are still getting compliments about him! He made our day that much more special!

Wonderful addition to the reception
It was so nice to have live music during our cocktail hour that continued through dinner and later turned into our DJ. It was even more wonderful that the same person did all of this. We worked with Steve. He was great he checked in with us throughout the night to make sure that we were happy and having fun. The dance floor was full at night and we have no one other than Steve to thank for that!

AMAZING & Very Professional Wedding DJ
My husband and I had Matt play his saxophone during the cocktail hour and dinner service, then he switched to being our DJ he was AMAZING!!!! All the guests loved him. My husband and I live out of town and he was very flexible with our meeting dates/times - we even used video calling to discuss what type of music we wanted for our wedding day- because we were unable to meet in person. Additionally, I provided a play and do not play list - he stuck to the list even when people asked him to play something that was on the do not play list, he still did not play it - simply amazing!!! He also has a blast when he is working, which to me is a sign he loves what he is doing - he was always smiling and interacting with the guests and everyone commented on how great he was.
On a side professional note: my uncle loved him so much that he approached him during our reception asking him if he was available to play at a corporate Christmas party - Matt was so professional he said please contact me later, I don't discuss future business while I am working with my current client. I think that is so respectful and I feel like you don't get that professional type of service. (My uncle ended up contacting him later and he did end up playing at the corporate Christmas party. From what I hear, everyone also loved him at that party!!)

We had the pleasure of working with Steve as the DJ/saxophonist for our wedding. Steve was a delight to work with, he was extremely responsive to our questions, continually checking on us before and even during the wedding. Guests loved hearing him play the alto sax and he was willing to learn a new song for us to play. We would highly recommend anyone to book him for their private events.

emcee/DJ/saxophonist extraordinaire!
Steve was great! I can’t say enough good things. He asked what we wanted for music up front and definitely delivered. Also we were somewhat indecisive/didn’t have strong feelings on a lot of the songs for specific dances, etc so it was great to sit down with him and hear his suggestions to have it planned out. The saxophone addition to different songs fit in well and people loved it. We also really appreciated how he checked in with us throughout the night to see how to move things along. He always waited for us to be ready for the next thing which decreased the stress. It was nice to not be or need a middle man for a lot of details.
We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Hope he keeps playing for many couples to come.

Best DJ In Buffalo
Matt was great! He met with us ahead of time to get an understanding of what music we did/didn't want. He did a great job at the wedding of engaging all of the guests, who ranged from teenagers to grandparents. The crowd liked him. He had a great run of show, but wasn't pushy about it and went with the flow. So great! Would recommend him to anyone thinking about having a DJ for their wedding!

Great DJ & Music
Justin our DJ was excellent. We were recently married in September 2018. Justin met with us prior to our wedding to fully understand our music preference and special requests. Justin and Saxxman were very thorough and detailed which made everything go so smoothly. My wedding guests are still talking about how awesome our DJ was at the wedding. Oh my god they did a great job!!!! We had the dance floor rocking from the time he said the dance floor was open until 11 pm. I think we may have scared him when a wave of family members hit the floor. He was a very personable out going person and my husband and I really enjoyed his playing during the cocktail and dinner hours. He played all the music we requested and stayed away from ones we requested.
I would highly recommend them - I have seen three of Saxman play at another wedding and a corporate function. Every time I see Saxman Slim play I know it will be good music and a good time.

Very good experience for daughters wedding
He was hired for my daughters wedding a year ago 11/03/2017. I had remembered him from another time he played for a work function and for another wedding I had attended. He did not disappoint. He did everything from the ceremony to the closing dance perfectly. My daughter and son in law were in Texas and communicated with him via phone and emails with no problems and got all their choices and requests. He kept the evening moving and enjoyable. We were very happy with him

I really can't say enough about what Steve meant to our wedding. We were a little worried because we were getting married in East Aurora but we currently reside in Brooklyn. Right off the bat, we had a video call with him and he said "I only play music for my friends, so let's get to know each other." We then had a 2 hour call where we got to know each other and talked about what songs we liked and didn't like. He was incredibly thoughtful with his advice and wisdom. For example, we sent him a list that ended up being about 10 hours of music (because we are weirdos and have too many favorite songs). He had us pick our favorites, and asked if he could also play other songs that we would like based on our list if the mood called for it, and we said yes. That was a great decision, because he was an expert to know when to play what! People still bring up how amazing our music was and how unique and cool it was to have the sax before and after the ceremony. We had a final meeting in his lovely home where he showed us all the songs he had downloaded just for us. This entire organization was a dream to work with. If you are getting married in Buffalo, it's a no brainer. THANK YOU STEVE!!!!!! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY OUR FRIEND :)

He was so perfect!
A lot of last minute schedule changes that he accommodated well. Everyone loved him and having the saxophone music at dinner really added a nice touch to our day. Very reasonable price for the incredible service you get.

Seriously the BEST! We had a super hectic schedule and he found time to meet with us before our wedding and we had a bunch of last minute changes that he made work. Everyone at our wedding loved him- even weeks later, we keep hearing glowing reviews. The sax he played during dinner was absolutely perfect, it made the best atmosphere. And his DJing kept the dance floor completely full ALL night, it was incredible. We are SOOO glad we picked Matt!!!

Mathew is a amazing sax player. You could hear and see that Mathew really loves to play the saxophone. He is very easy to work with, we gave Mathew a google folder of our selfie pictures we had taken and asked that it be displayed on a screen during cocktail hour. It turned out amazing. We also gave Mathew a list of songs to be played and a list of announcements which he was right on que. The crowd loved his music and he accommated all requests. We love the sax and we really loved listening to Mathew's playing is saxophone. We were so fortunate to have found and have chose Mathew.
