We absolutely recommend Savour First Choice Catering for any special event. From the very beginning, Mitcy and Matt made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free, which meant so much to us while planning our wedding. Their communication, organization, and attention to detail helped everything come together perfectly.
They created a beautiful and elegant dinner setting for our wedding, and everything was presented so nicely. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening, making sure both we and our guests were well taken care of.
One moment that really stood out to us was during our wedding photoshoot. One of the servers thoughtfully brought my husband and me our own appetizer plates along with cocktails so we could actually enjoy the food while taking pictures. That small gesture meant so much and showed how much they truly care about the couple having a great experience on their big day.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests about the flavor and quality. It truly added to the overall experience of the evening.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Mitcy, Matt, and the entire Savour First Choice Catering team made this part effortless and enjoyable. Their professionalism, incredible service, and amazing food made our reception even more special.

Our Experience with Savoir first Catering was Very Exceptional. It was their first time out to Our Venue.
The Food was outstanding and our guest gave us Excellent feedback. We had the Coconut Shrimp and Bacon jam deviled eggs as passed Appetizers.
I was also very impressed they offered real plates and Silverware along with water Goblets and plated Salads with bread& butter at every Table.
Our Entrees were Buffet style ( guest later told me it was self serve) which is totally fine . The last few weddings I've been a guest at the buffet line had been overseen by staff that scooped for you , & ive always has to ask for more because this girl can Eat !
So I suppose the self serving was received with no negative feedback from guests.
We served the roasted red pepper chicken , redskin whipped potatoes and Roasted Vegetables
My Groom and I Enjoyed our Meal so much, we recreated the meal to the best of our Culinary experience 10days Later. -

From beginning to end this caterer made the decisions of food one of the most simple. Speaking with the chef to plan an coordinate the wants of the couple and the needs of the guests made the whole project seamless. On event day, I didn't have to think about any food hiccups, I knew they would handle it all. They helped our elderly guests and it all tasted delicious. -

Christmas party
Christmas party. I attended a friends Christmas party and the catering was done by Savour was absolutely fabulous from the service to the food to the professionalism to the friendliness… Absolutely first class!Savour First Choice Catering's reply:

If anyone is looking for a a caterer we HIGHLY recommend Savour First Choice Catering. The food was AMAZING and the staff was even better. They added special touches and went above and beyond to make our day special. They made sure the bride and groom both ate (if you’ve ever had a wedding you understand), the chef was hysterical, we even had one of our servers serenade us with a beautiful song. We can’t say enough good things about this company. -

Matt is so very talented and truly able to make anything your heart desires!! Being a chef myself and having my new in-laws as chefs I knew the food had to be amazing! From the tasting to the day of it was all incredible!! We had four passed appetizers during cocktail hour: crab cakes, quesadillas, tomato soup with grilled cheese shooters and his incredible pear and Brie purses! Everyone immediately started raving about them and wished there were more! We had duel entrees, beef tenderloin and grouper each with their own sauce served with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus!! Both proteins were cooked perfectly which is impressive for a buffet style dinner and you could cut the filet with a butter knife! It was so good I watched at least 10 people go back for seconds, including my husband!! The amount of compliments I received on the food was incredible and our guests were thoroughly impressed!!
Thank you Matt and staff for making our day that much more special and delicious!!

From beginning to end, Savour Catering was phenomenal!! I first heard about Savour from a Bridal Expo I had attended; it was the first time I had seen the vendor name after attending so many expo's throughout the year. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner - Matt - was very engaging and transparent about his process. Any question we had, he answered right away, or found a way to make something work if we needed additional details incorporated. Our tasting was 10/10; from presentation, to freshness of ingredients, down to the flavors of the food, Matt blew us away! Our food at the wedding was exquisite, and Matt made sure myself and my husband were taken care of during the reception. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone I come across!! We used Savour for our wedding in September and everything went very smoothly. From the very beginning Matt was patient in answering all my questions. As we got closer to the date he helped me make necessary adjustments to the invoice adding the liquor package other items we wanted. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding. We would definitely recommend hiring them for your catering needs. You won’t be disappointed. -

Our wedding planner recommended Matt and his team for our home based wedding. My husband is a chef and we did not want the average wedding food. Matt customized our menu to include a Philly twist to our passed appetizers-cheesesteak egg rolls, Philly pretzel bites in beer cheese, Stromboli, and shrimp dumplings. That was just the pregame. Matt then prepared an incredible Chilean Seabass and Beef tenderloin. The food was absolutely delicious. People are still asking me for his information a week after our wedding. The staff he brought was also professional and helped the event run smoothly. Matt, you are an amazingly talented chef. THANK YOU for being apart of our day and making it so memorable with your delicious food. -

Savour was the best! They picked up the phone when we called every time! From Their service, to their looks, to presentation, to the taste of the food - all great!! The Staff was dressed in all black. They looked professional and sharp, which was perfect for my 1920s theme. AND the food was even better than I imagined! My husband and I are big time foodies, and their food definitely passed the test! So much that we personally brought them back out for another catered event during my pregnancy because I had a craving JUST for Chef Matt’s food. Being that I’m also an Event Director and in the industry, I’ve worked with many vendors and caterers. So my standards are high. With that said, I would highly recommend Matt and his team! Thank you guys so much for rocking it out! -

After reading what seems like hundreds of reviews and asking friends upon friends what to do - I finally narrowed it done to Matt with Savour Catering and boy, was I impressed! They were right on time and willing to work with every diet restriction we threw at them. Matt was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the food was to die for! Gorgeous presentation, so much flavor!
Chef Matt is exactly who you want for your wedding. He is young, energetic, and passionate about what he does and it shows in the energy he brings to planning and providing amazing dining for you and your party. We had many creative items served but some emphasis on the Ahi Tuna put in tiny little waffle cones - so cool and delicious! I just happened to have gone to a friend’s wedding a few weeks before ours and I remember remarking to my wife how tasteless and boring the food was at the venue - I was so happy to have selected a Chef that really puts his all into his work and loves what he does - because it shows in the presentation and quality! Book Chef Matt - you won’t regret it. -

We were so fortunate to find Chef Matt and Savour First Choice Catering! From planning to actual wedding day, working with Matt was one of the smoothest parts of wedding planning (and fun!). Our guests as the wedding raved about the food! We were fortunate to be able to eat at our wedding and we still think about the hors d'oeuvres and entrees! Besides the excellent food, Chef Matt’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness to the bride and groom were so appreciated. On our wedding day, the florist forgot our wedding cake flowers. Chef Matt was somehow able to find flowers for our cake and even personally placed them on the cake. He also grabbed footage of one of my favorite spontaneous moments of the night, our massive conga line, and shared it with me. It meant so much! Savour First Choice just catered for our rental property wedding June 6th 2020 and we cannot say enough good things about chef Matt and his crew!!! They were all so friendly, polite, and extremely helpful! They took care of everything! We had originally planned for a wedding at a restaurant but moved it to the home a couple months prior due to COVID closures. We were planning from MN and Matt sent us many updated proposals as we decided what we would like on the menu and the number of guests decreased and increased. We rented our chairs, tent, dishes etc and provided our own linens and beverages but they treated it all as their own. We had planned on setting the tables and beverages up ourselves but when 3pm rolled around and I still had curlers in my hair before 3:30pm pictures this team took over with out being asked and saved the day! Not only did they set tables, centerpieces, and beverages up for us but Matt even brought his own beautiful flowers for the buffet table. Again without being asked they moved our chairs from the ceremony spot to the dinner spot making everything very smooth for us. When time for the buffet came they already had a plate fixed up for me and my groom, and they had saved us a plate of appetizers that were served while we had more photos taken, then saved us pieces of cake later as well. The food (beef tenderloin, tuscan chicken, green beans, roasted potatoes, ceasar salad) was absolutely wonderful and the guests couldn't stop raving about the crab cakes so add that to your menu if you haven't already! Wouldn’t pick anyone else but Savour Catering!
There’s no point in looking anywhere but SAVOUR CATERING! My wife and I got married 2 months ago and hired Matt and team for our food and bar. Everything from the tasting through day of the wedding was AMAZING! Matt worked with us on a special appetizer and had us to the kitchen to help test them with him until they were exactly what we wanted. AND THEY WERE AWESOME.
When dinner was announced day of my wife and I walked to our seats we met Matt with packed plates at our table. That’s just Matt! He’s young, motivated and fantastic chef. Everyone we’ve talked to who was at the wedding says two things:
- “That tenderloin was the best I’ve ever had”
- “The chef and his team were on their game.“
Also as I ate a lot of all of it I can vouch for our whole menu:
- Philly cheesesteak egg rolls (WOW!)
- Chicken and waffle skewers
- Coconut shrimp
- Caesar salad
- Mixed veggies
- Beef tenderloin
- Red Pepper chicken

What a great experience we had with Savour First Choice Catering for our wedding reception. From the first time I contacted Chef Matt until the end of our reception, the responsiveness, communication and service were all amazing. We had about 60 people for our reception with a tropical/seafood menu theme, and Matt was able to come up with such a fantastic menu even with our last minute adjustments, that had guests from up North enjoying grouper for the first time. Chef Matt was amazing to work with- he took time to understand our vision, his staff was extremely personable and attentive and the food was absolutely amazing! Our night was so perfect with their assistance. Highly recommend ! -

Chef Matt prepared a fantastic meal for my mom's 85th birthday. It was wonderful to have our family come together and be spoiled with great food and service. Matt knocked it out of the park! Having been in the restaurant and catering business in the past, I have high expectations for good food. Savour First Choice catered a friends wedding. The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful. From the center pieces, warmer set up, and how the food was displayed. Cold dishes were served cold, hot food hot, and tasted AMAZING. 2 Thumbs up from this girl.
