  Amazing pastries and cake!!

  An old school bakery with charm & great food. The cake was beautiful & tasted good, too! The cannolis and cookies were also the best I have tasted in the area. The owner was very accommodating for my cancelled 2020 date due to CoVid, too.

  Gorgeous cake and desserts

  We ordered our wedding cake, Italian cookies, cannolis, and cream puffs from Savoia's. Everything was beautiful and delicious- so much so, that there were no leftovers!!

  Always delectable!

  From cakes to pastries, breads and cupcakes, this bakeshop does it all! They made our Italian cookies and puff pastries for our wedding and not a single crumb was left! Always delicious and beautiful!

  My wedding cake was absolutely delicious! My guest had many positive comments on how beautiful and great tasting the cake was. Delivery was wonderful with no issues or hiccups. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family:)

  I can't say enough about Savoia's, I married into an Italian family and at all holiday parties and gathering there is always a tray of cookies and box of cannolis from here so when it came time to plan our wedding I knew I had to at least order the cookies and pastries from here. We also ended up ordering our wedding cake here, the standard tasting includes just white and chocolate cake with four different filling options (chocolate, vanilla, raspberry, and lemon) but they also have red velvet cake and carrot cake options available upon request. We chose to do a mix of white and chocolate cake tiers all with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. The Shoppe requires all tiered cakes to have a bottom layer of white cake and all must have buttercream or fondant frosting (this is why we didn't go with carrot cake, it's just not the same without cream cheese frosting). We also chose to get a smaller three tiered cake and ordered a sheet cake or kitchen cake as they called to be cut and served from the kitchen without ever being displayed. Although the designs in their books might have been dated but they were willing to look at pictures and come up with a design they could recreate successfully. The final product was beautiful, despite having chosen a picture which used fondant the chef was able to do a similar design using buttercream as I didn't want any fondant used, and there was not a single pastry left over. Although cake options are limited this is to ensure the highest quality products each and every time and I would return to Savoia's for this reason over and over again.

  Savoia's was our first choice for our wedding cake and pastries! They even did all my desserts for my bridal shower! The wedding cake was exactly as we wanted and it was so yummy! The sweets tables provided by them was a hit at the wedding. Lisa was awesome to work with well making all our choices. She was very helpful and had great suggestions.

  Savoia's has always been a favorite bakery of ours, I was so happy to have them do the wedding cake for our special day. They were very accommodating especially when we had a very heavy cake topper, they added extra support to help the cake topper stay up. They were also very easy to work with when we wanted the florist to bring in fresh flowers for the cake decoration.

  My husband and I ordered trays of Italian cookies, cannoli and cream puffs from Savoia for our wedding. Our family and guests were raving about them and were super happy - the cannoli and cream puffs were gone within minutes! A must for any Italian wedding, or any wedding!

  Savoia Pastry Shoppe made the best wedding cake for my wedding. We had a vanilla cake with raspberry filling to die for! So moist and with so much flavor. Kudos to the this awesome bakery!

  We had a dessert buffet for our wedding. Many items to choose from. Walking into the bakery is like walking into heaven! Everything was wonderful. Ordering process was easy. Pleasant to work with.

  The cake was DELICIOUS and it came out absolutely gorgeous. We ordered a 4-tier cake with glitter, ribbons, edible flowers, fillings, and piping. We had a lot of details on our cake, and it looked very elegant.

  First of all, Savoia has the most delicious cake I have ever had in my life. I have gone to many weddings and traveled to many places and the cake is never anything to rave about, but with Savoia it is.
  When we started searching for a cake vendor we went to a couple of other places but weren't impressed. When we arrived to Savoia and staff was very friendly and when we said we were getting married they immediately offered us to try a piece of the wedding cake that they make for samples. It was so delicious!
  While tasting our yummy samples they had a small sitting area and a ton of books so we can choose what style cake we would like and the designs. We had to come back a couple of times to decide what we wanted and they were very patient with us and didn't try to sell us on anything. They let us make the decision.
  When we did finally decide on what we wanted they required only a small deposit and they don't require a final decision on a design or size of cake until one month before the wedding. It's the only thing that you can really wait until last minute to plan!
  That was nice for us since we added cupcakes, got rid of cupcakes, added different designs, and they didn't mind us making these changes. One thing I wish I had though of earlier was to make their cake-pops favours for the guests. They are very yummy and they can make different flavors of them.
  The day before and of the wedding I didn't need to contact Savoia about anything. We paid for their transportation services and they dropped off the cake on time (i'm assuming since it was beautiful and on display after the ceremony). The guests loved the cake and most of it was gone, which was challenging since it had cobbler stations with sauces to compete with.
  Overall they did not make me worry about any detail of the cake and they have a ton of experience with weddings. I would recommend them for any occasion, not just weddings.

  We did not get a "traditional" wedding cake. Rather, we had a variety of smaller specialty cakes such as chocolate peanut butter, etc. Savoia's did a wonderful job, delivery was prompt and we got many compliments on our cakes. We plan on going back every year for our anniversary to get another cake to celebrate.

They helped us figure out how much of everything we needed (we thought that we needed a lot more than we did, and they talked us down- in the end we still had a little more than we needed, but that's what you want at a wedding), right.   I cannot say enough about the people at Savoia's - they truly are family. The pastries and cookies not only looked like they were out of a magazine, but they were delicious. Most people never comment on the wedding cake, but everyone at the reception came up to us to let us know how scrumptious the cake was - You can never go wrong with this Bakery!!!!

Very flexible too, I ordered my cherry blossom gum paste flowers and thats all I had to do! the end product was just beautiful. I would highly recommend to all brides in Rochester.
