Wonderful!

Jaimi was AMAZING to work with! I was helping to plan a surprise proposal for one of my best friends. The groom-to-be wanted to hire a violinist for the occasion, and I'm so glad Jaimi was the person we ended up choosing. She was so kind, accommodating, flexible, and understanding when things were a bit crazy, which was super appreciated. Prompt responses, clear communication, and wonderful professionalism. You can tell how much care she puts into her craft and how dedicated she is to creating meaningful moments for her clients. I will definitely be referring her to anyone looking for a violinist in the future! :)

Save the Date provided the perfect music for ceremony and cocktail hour!

We hired a cellist and violinist to play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The music was beautiful and they matched the vibes perfectly. Very professional and nice people. They even picked up hints during our vows that Star Wars was important element of our first date and incorporated that into cocktail hour without asking! They were amazing!

Professional, responsive, and easy to work with!

We hired a string duo and DJ Gino through Save The Date and could not have been happier! Kitty was super clear and responsive to all emails and questions and the musicians were professional and so talented. I am a big Swiftie and they made sure to incorporate her music into our ceremony and cocktail hour. DJ Gino was also wonderful! We had a few phone calls with him before the big day to go over our favorite songs and discuss the timeline. On the day, he was personable and helped get everyone on the dance floor. I cannot recommend this company enough!

We love DJ Gino

We hired DJ Gino from Save the Date to play ceremony and reception music and he was wonderful! Hilarious and personable while we planned over the phone, and he was wonderfully accommodating to our very specific musical tastes while still being able to read the crowd and match the music to the energy. All of our guests absolutely loved him and I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Great experience

We hired a violin/cello/guitar trio for our wedding ceremony and it was a perfect choice! They were very professional and communicative. They had a wide range of music selections to choose from, and their performance was so beautiful! Especially we all loved the bride entrance song “salut d'amour” by Elgar. Highly recommended!

Save the Date Music is Great!!!

We booked Save the Date Music as a string trio for my daughter's wedding.
It was an outdoor ceremony at the Botanical Garden.
We were delighted with the quality of their music. Kitty was great to work with, she played what we requested and filled
the rest of the program with her own excellent selections.

Ceremony music

We reached out to save the date for ceremony music only! They were on time and played very well! While we only hired a violin and cello, they have several combinations of professional players to choose from. They played beautifully and we got a ton of compliments on them! The coordinator who manages this group was super responsive and they are priced very reasonably compared to others! I highly recommend coming from a May 2022 bride and groom!

Wonderful Trio

We hired a trio from Save the Date Music to play during our pre-ceremony cocktail hour and during our ceremony and we are very glad we did! Their repertoire was extensive and we had plenty of songs to select from. They were prompt, professional and very talented. Their music was beautiful and we are so glad they were part of our big day. Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience working with the musicians at Save the Date. They were very communicative and have a wide variety of musical selections. We really enjoyed the music and everything sounded beautiful on our wedding day. I would highly recommend them!

Great ceremony musicians and DJ!

We used Save the Date to hire both our ceremony musicians and DJ, which made things so easy! For our ceremony and cocktail hour, we worked with Chris Royce and had a guitar and violin. They played a variety of classic and contemporary songs. For our reception, we worked with DJ Gino. I told Gino that our goal was to get people on the dance floor, and he totally excelled! He played the perfect mix of tunes for our crowd. I highly recommend Save the Date for your wedding music needs!

Beautiful Ceremony Music

Due to COVID restrictions, we had to move our wedding ceremony a few months prior to our wedding date and were scrambling to find a string quartet. I reached out to Kitty at Save the Date Music and thankfully she had a quartet available! I am so happy I booked them! Kitty was very easy to work with and was quick to respond. Their performance was beautiful and I received many compliments about them!

So talented and so flexible

I hired Kitty to place at our ceremony and reception months before our wedding. She is quick to respond, organized, and helpful with anything you need. When COVID hit, we had to change our reception location and Kitty willingly set up the musicians to travel with us. Totally unheard of! So thankful we hired them. They know so many. Massive songs and modern songs. Their music is beautiful and was the classiest addition for our ceremony and cocktail hour.

Cellist Ariana is Excellent

We hired Ariana Dewar Macmillan with Save the Date Music to play as a cello soloist for our small wedding ceremony. She was wonderful and so easy to work with. She met with us to plan things out and recommended songs when didn't know what to chose, she also took the time to learn a new song on pretty short notice. She played beautifully during the ceremony. I can't recommend enough! I'm sure the whole group is just as good.

DJ Gino!!!!!

DJ Gino was fantastic!!! We had a few calls with him before the event...DJ Gino made sure that everything was spot on and was also very responsive with our coordinator to make sure our timelines matched up perfectly. We also got serval compliments from our guests (of different age ranges) regard how good the music selection was. We may have had only 40 songs request ahead of time and the rest was improvised by Gino...perfect shuffle! Special notes...Gino also came prepared with a whistle, triangle, and cowboy. He made the dancing portion of the night super fun!!

Traditional and Modern Music

We hired the string trio (violin/viola/cello) from Save the Date Music for our wedding ceremony. Kitty was very easy to work with and provided us with a wide-range of song selections to choose from. We selected a mix of both traditional and modern songs, which they seamlessly weaved together. Our guests enjoyed the music – especially when they recognized “All You Need Is Love” by the Beatles as our recessional!

Beautiful and elegant

Save the Date was wonderful to have at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I had a few odd requests to play and they rose to the challenge and it was great! The owner Katherine was so sweet and always got back to me immediately with any answers to my questions. They were very reasonably priced for what we were asking them to do, and it was wonderful music! If you want some fun, mixed with elegance please book them, you can choose any kind of music!

Very good experience

We used Save the Date Music for my daughter's recent wedding and were very pleased. The violinist they provided was able to fill in for a 20-minute delay in starting the ceremony (transportation issues) and was very professional. DJ Gino was AMAZING - he was able to accurately read the crowd and make his set fit the flow of the guests and the flow of the party. He was also good in not making the music about himself, like so many DJs do. We really enjoyed his added percussion, too!

Beautiful Music

Save The Date Music supplied an incredible string quartet that played absolutely beautiful music. The live music added even more elegance to our outdoor venue. We did a lot of research for songs that Kitty made sure the team had including the song prior to our prelude.

Highly recommend Save the Date Music and DJ Gino

I am the kind of bride who puts a lot of time and effort into researching each and every vendor till I find a perfect match. I rank my wedding vendors in an excel spreadsheet and Save The Date Music was my number one choice in the Music category. We had a quartet led by Kitty for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ Gino at our wedding reception. Both Kitty and Gino were very responsive throughout the planning process and answered our many questions. They were punctual and professional. The quartet played beautifully while DJ Gino did such a great job with the song selection and got everyone out on the dance floor. We were very pleased with the quartet and DJ Gino and we really appreciate all of their help on our big day.

Sentimental ceremony with "our" song

"Our" song is that old 70's jam Come and Get Your Love by Redbone...a little too poppy to be our first dance song but I knew I had to incorporate it. When we found Save the Date, Katherine gave us amazing suggestions for bringing this to life as well as what logistically will be the best size/instruments for our venue (outdoors), number of guests, and instruments for the song itself. We had a guitar and violin duo who played the song not only for the bridal party, but after an appropriate pause, for my walk down the aisle as well (as I requested!). They arrived an hour before ceremony to be set up and prepared to play the 30 minutes prior as guests arrived in a series of recognizable/more modern songs. It was everything I dreamed of and Jon loved hearing our song for the ceremony (it was a surprise for him!)

Absolutely amazing!! We had a string trio and DJ Gino at our wedding. The music was perfect. Kitty went out of her way to play every song we requested for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The trio even learned a song for us with no extra charge! Save The Date music was so affordable. DJ Gino was so kind and was in contact with us several times throughout the planning process. We would definitely use them again.

Save The Date Music chose the perfect ensemble for the wedding at which I recently officiated. It was an outdoor venue by a lake. The bride wanted a classical group who could also play modern and show tunes. The groom’s sister sang a solo during the ceremony. The Save The Date trio came early to practice with her and it all came off without a hitch. It was a pleasure to work with professionals who put their heart as well as their talent into what they do. Great communication and a lovely presentation. Looking forward to working with them again.

I would highly recommend Save the Date Music for a wedding because they are professional, knowledgeable, and work very hard to satisfy the interest of their client. Warren and Mark played such beautiful violin and cello duets during our wedding ceremony which added the perfect touch that we were looking for. Mary Grenier opened her business to my husband and I with warmth and joy during our initial meeting, which really convinced us that we had made the best choice for music.

The violin and cello duet music we had for my daughters wedding was beautiful. They played what we asked for, our guests really enjoyed that special touch. They were punctual and professional. A few weeks before the wedding we spoke and discussed some details and everything went perfect!

My daughter's wedding was just a few weeks away and I was very concerned that it was too late for us to find a string trio. Mary did not seem at all worried -- just asked for a couple of days to locate the musicians for us. She came through with flying colors. We got a wonderful trio. Plus, there was a piece of music that was important to my daughter for her processional. The music was not available, so the musicians managed to produce an arrangement of their own, which was beautiful. Very satisfied.

Our experience was exceptional. We had a jazz combo playing during our sons rehearsal dinner and welcome cocktail party. They were outstanding, professional and in my opinion a bargain for what we got. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I am SO glad we went through Save The Date Music for our ceremony music. I chose the guitar and violin duet for my ceremony and had a good time working with Warren on picking out songs for the bridal party, processional and recessional. What really made me happy about working with Save The Date, was the fact that poor Warren had a heart attack the night before my wedding! Save The Date pulled through in finding another violinist who could play the three songs I chose (A Thousand Years by Christina Perry, Canon in D, and Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker). They called my mom and once they found a replacement, called me to first let me know that Warren was OK and resting (whew! my prayers were answered!) and that they had found a violinist and that everything was going to be fine and my day perfect. That call alone helped me go from a hyperventilating mess to a happy bride! Save the Date was really great to work with. They were professional and handled an extreme circumstance with calmness and a great attitude (at least that's what I perceived, which I greatly appreciated!). I would very highly recommend Save The Date!

We had a string quartet for our wedding ceremony. It was absolutely lovely! They did an excellent job. Comminication was simple and they will go out of their way to learn a piece special for your wedding if you like! So many guests commented on how much they liked the strings. It really made our ceremony stand out and was very elegant.

Efficient in setting up meetings to understand what we wanted to represent us on our day, musician meeting was friendly and inspired confidence. Musicians on day of were on time and very helpful with offering mic services for ceremony if needed for vows. Music was breathtaking. Save the Date Music was a pleasure to work with. I chose a selection of songs I wanted played prior to the ceremony. I chose songs from both a classic list as well as a contemporary. The musician got back to me right away to confirm my choices. My mom tells me I came into the world listening to Cannon D and this is what I chose for coming down the isle. We chose La rejouissance for our recession. Just a few of our contemporary choices were : A thousand years, I see the light (Tangled). And some classic:Arioso, Wachet Auf,The ludlows (just to name a few). They offer a list of many songs to choose from. They will play from their repertoire or you can select which songs you would prefer. The violin and cello duo was just perfect for our outdoor wedding. They played with grace and elegance. It sounded flawless and added such a romantic setting to our special day. Our guests loved that we chose to have live music for our ceremony. In my opinion, live music is essential for this once in a life time moment.

Mary was outstanding from the start! We hired Dave to play our ceremony and cocktail reception. He did an excellent job with the songs that I provided. I did have him play a new song he had not played before for the portion of me walking down the isle and he was able to play everything beautifully! If you are looking for instrumental music or a band for your wedding or event then I would recommend Save the Date music. The pricing was more than affordable as well. With a tight timeline and small budget I feared having music at my event would not be possible. Mary from Save The Date Music took those fears away. She was not only professional but very personable. Our Pianist Greg Dixon played beautifully, and even handles custom requests on such a tight timeline!

We had a guitar and violin duo at our wedding at cocktail hour. They were amazing. Friendly, professional, and easy to work with. We were able to choose from a large selection of songs. We almost decided not to have them play at cocktail hour, however, this would have been a mistake. Several guests commented on how much they enjoyed their music.

I first saw Save the Date Music at a bridal show and fell in love with the idea of having them play at our wedding ceremony. Save the Date Music was the perfect fit for our wedding. Mary helped us arrange the perfect musicians for the ceremony, as well as the DJ for the reception. Through Mary, we hired Dave Spencer to play guitar and banjo, and a violinist of his choosing for the ceremony music and cocktail hour. They had a huge song selection to choose from, and were able to fulfill some special requests as well.

As for the DJ, we cannot say enough about DJ Gino. He made an effort get to know a little about our musical tastes and the "flavor and style" of our wedding. He was warm, friendly, and professional, and checked with us several times throughout the ceremony to make sure he was on right track. He has a huge song library to choose from, and was also able to fulfill some unusual special requests. He has a knack for feeling out the crowd; our dance floor was packed the entire evening.

We had a great experience with Save the Date music and highly recommend them.

Our event planner suggested this company, and she steered us right! Mary is friendly and helpful. Kathryn was accommodating. The music was beautifully performed, and the quartet adjusted to a ceremony that was not typical and not rehearsed. LOl Yet, it went off seamlessly, and I think a big part of that was due to the soothing music and professionalism of the quartet.

We asked Mary to help us put together a pianist and a cellist. Even though she hadn't had a request for these two particular musicians together before she was more than willing to accommodate us. They played Pachelbel's Canon in D and 1000 Years for my daughters wedding. It was so well done and beautiful. The musicians were early for both the rehearsal and the wedding and stayed until they knew they weren't needed anymore. They were well dressed, polite, and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The Larry Marynak Trio performed for our wedding at All-Saints Chapel in Raleigh, NC. They provided exactly the performance we envisioned when contracting them. They arrived earlier than expected, set-up but did not get into the way of the decorators or caterers. Their performed pre-ceremony, as well as from two different locations for about 45 minutes post-ceremony while the reception tables, etc. were being arranged in the main chapel. They performed right up until we left the chapel. The music selections were a combination of our choices and their standard playlist. All were perfect for the event and our tastes. There have been a steady stream of compliments from guest since. We highly recommend for any event!!

We hired this company to provide a duet for our daughters wedding. They played during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Evelyn was a pleasure to work with and very helpful in suggesting music for our event. They were prompt and we received numerous complements on their music.

We used Save the Date music to hire a guitar and saxophone duet to play at our ceremony! Mary and the musicians were great to work with. Our guitarist, Scotty, helped me to determine music that I would both enjoy and would follow the rules of our church. The guitar and saxophone together were absolutely beautiful. Both musicians came dressed and looked so professional! Overall, a great experience!

I hired Dave to play the acoustic guitar for my ceremony and cocktail hour. The ceremony music was all classical music.. and he played it beautifully. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hear the grandmothers, mothers, and bridesmaids songs because I had a very long walk and was far away, but I surely got to hear my bridal chorus! I explained to Dave how I wanted the bridal chorus played, and he nailed every bit of it. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone commented on how romantic the ceremony music was. At cocktail hour, we had Dave play oldies and country music... perfect for socializing, and that was great as well!

Marilyn Weinand was the harpist for my rehearsal brunch at Second Empire. My new daughter in law is a musician and I knew the harpist was be a fabulous surprise for her and I was right. Marilyn was set up and playing the most beautiful music when we arrived. The soft, romatic tunes were the perfect compliment to the brunch. Marilyn, herself, is a delightful lady and was so attentive to the flow of the brunch. She truly could not have made it more perfect.
I found Marilyn through Mary Greiner with Save the Date. Mary, too was delightful to work with and made this plan work easy and effortlessly. She emailed me often to let me know all was planned and let me know if and when she needed anything from me. I could not have been happier with the choice and the plan. This is a terrific and talented group.

For our daughters wedding, we had a violin/cello duet. We were very pleased with the performance and had several of our guests comment on how beautiful the music was. The lead musician contacted me several times to go over the playlist for the event and was very helpful. She went above and beyond to find music for a violin/cello duet song that my daughter really wanted them to play. We highly recommend Save The Date Music.

Evelyn was the solo violinist at our daughter's wedding.
We had her for the event alone. We had no prior rehearsal with Evelyn. Yet the quality of music was beautiful and everything was done in a professional way.

I have nothing but great things to say about Save The Date Music. Their music choices were broad and their choice of instruments was complete. Evelyn was terrific in her help with choosing the pieces. We talked about what types of songs we wanted and she gave us a list of suggestions. After that, there was nothing we had to do except enjoy their beautiful playing. They have worked with the Fearrington many times, so that went smoothly. My only regret is that I didn't get to hear them play more!
Everything about Save The Date Music was perfect! I would recommend them without hesitation!!

We were planning a wedding rehearsal dinner for over 60 people in Raleigh, NC and wanted a pianist to provide background music during the cocktail reception and dinner. Since we live in Florida we had to depend on a recommendation from the hotel where we held the event. Lucky for us they referred us to "Save the Date Music". From beginning to end the experience was wonderful. Our pianist showed up early and actually stayed 20 minutes or so beyond the contracted time. We had a mixed group from ages 20-86 and she accommodated us with a nice variety of music. Very pleased.

Save the date provided excellent music for our Daughter's weeding. They played during the ceremony and during the cocktail. The musicians were exceptional and we received many compliments on their performance.

We worked with Mary at Save the Date to book a guitar/sax duo for our June 1, 2013 ceremony at the Carolina Inn. Mary was extremely attentive and easy to work with. The musicians were similarly responsive, worked with us to satisfy our requests and were extremely prompt. Our guests truly enjoyed the ceremony music and commented on the talent and uniqueness of the guitar/sax duo.
