Helen is Lovely!
She accommodated our Tybee Island beach wedding on short notice —even on the first day of her vacation! She provided us with sample vows and encouraged us to revise them to our liking. She answered all of our questions and assured us that our same-sex wedding would be met with acceptance and a non-judgmental attitude, and it was. Helen recommended photographers as well. She arrived early and worked with our photographer well. We highly recommend Helen for your simple wedding!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
Helen is professional, organized, and has an appropriate level of humor that places you at ease immediately. Her fee is perhaps the lowest on Tybee Island in order to accommodate couples who need it. I recommend giving her a generous tip as she is worth it.

Helen was simply amazing! She made the entire process seamless. We decided to get married on Tybee Island. When we arrived, the weather was not cooperating for a beach wedding. Helen was so flexible, that we were able to choose another location within a couple hours before our nuptials.
She was an absolute delight. We connected with her immediately like she was an old friend.

Helen (the officiant) and Margaret (the photographer) with Savannah Simple Weddings were amazing. My husband and I wanted a romantic ceremony just us on the beach and they made it a fabulous, alluring night that we won't forget. Helen was very professional and, throughout the countdown to our wedding, she was happy to answer our questions and prepare us for what to expect. She knew the best location on the beach for our ceremony that had a mesmerizing backdrop of the expanding sky and the ocean with a few sand dunes sprinkled alongside us. After we completed our short ceremony, we took pictures with Margaret who did a phenomenal job of listening to our requests for poses and assisting us with some shots on debris and in the water. She was very fun, enthusiastic and gave us a balance of couple and solo shots. Both Helen and Margaret are very go-with-the -low professionals who are ready to assist you but also allow you to choose how to make your day special. They were both spectacular and I highly recommend choosing Savannah Simple Weddings for a cozy and romantic wedding setting.

We were late to our ceremony (thanks to the court house) but she was very sweet and waited for us even being 15 minutes late. Even on her own anniversary! Our ceremony only lasted a few minutes. She made us feel so special and it was perfect. She offered to take photos & pointed us to a lot of city must see stops! Again, she was very very sweet. We are delighted to give Savanah Simple Weddings our highest praise. Sister's Helen and Margaret are a delightful duo. Helen as the officiant was calm, poised, professional, practiced... she provided us with several ceremony and vow choices and was also willing for us to provide our own ceremony/vow ideas. She met us at the venue of our choice and really made us feel at ease. Also of note, Helen airways replied to our texts our emails in a very timely manner. Out of all the officiants we first contacted, Helen replied quickly and provided information immediately that we didn't have to keep texting or emailing to find out. That really made us feel at ease. She also offered her Sister's assistance as a photographer.. perfect!
Margaret, the sister photographer, was an absolute delight. Like her sister Helen, Margaret made us feel totally at ease. These ladies left us nothing to worry or stress over. Margaret is willing to take whatever photographs you desire, and she also has plenty of ideas of her own which we were more than happy to take her up on. She has a little fun box of goodies 😀. Margaret gave an extra dose of happiness and joy to us on the best day of our lives.

Fantastic, easy and affordable are words I would use to describe the service I received from Savannah Simple Weddings! We had Helen and her sister Margaret do our vow renewal ceremony for our 30th wedding anniversary in Savannah. We are from Canada and the distance was not a problem. Helen was very helpful with details, suggestions for the ceremony as well as locations. Correspondence was always quick and she answered any questions we had. Helen and Margaret are very flexible about everything, in fact we didn't finalize our location until a few days before the ceremony. We loved the option of having Margaret do pictures for us, it was so fun and perfect for our needs. We received the pictures electronically very quickly. Helen and Margaret are wonderful ladies who make you feel very comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend them for any ceremony, and I would not hesitate to use their services again!

Helen was a dream. She was incredibly responsive, insightful and answered any questions I may have had about getting married out-of-state and in a different county than we currently live in. She made the process easy and completely a breeze. Helen didn’t come to our rehearsal and everything STILL went off without a hitch. Helen responded very promptly to our last minute request for an officiant. She was polite and professional, and helped us figure out how to apply for our marriage license. The ceremony was short and sweet and she provided a place for us to say our own vows to each other (which would have cost extra money with son need of the other officiants we had looked at). Would definitely recommend!

Helen was fabulous! We are from St Augustine and wanted to get married in Savannah. She met with us one afternoon and we talked about our relationship and what was important to our ceremony. Savannah Simple Weddings is the Way to Go!
Helen Bradley of Savannah Simple Weddings was magnificent! My wife and I didn't want an extravagant wedding and were unaware Georgia law required an officiant to make it officially official. The courthouse gave us Miss Bradley's business card, and she was able to meet us in Colombia Square in 30 minutes! Professional, caring, and overall just a lovely lady. Completed the "ceremony" and took pictures in no more than 15 minutes. She is wonderful!

My wife and I planned a true Last minute elopement.. I called the Chatham courthouse, submitted the application, approved later the same day. All judges were on vacation during our two day stay in Savannah, but the receptionist recommended to call Helen. We called and asked if she was available “next week” and she was excited and said of course. We are a very casual couple who wanted a stress free, beautiful day. Helen and Margaret were exactly that! Super sweet, full of personality, and they made our day super special. Would 100% recommend!

Ms Bradley was absolutely amazing! She is well informed with the whole marriage license process and guided us through all the steps. My husband and I are not from Savannah so she recommended a couple of spots to have the ceremony and they were all beautiful. She was very sweet and helpful through the whole process and we were delighted to have her be a part of our day.
The day of our ceremony was also a little hectic because it had been raining all day and our ceremony was outside, so she was kind enough to see if we could do it at another location but thankfully it cleared out just for the time of our wedding and everything ended up being ok! The way she leads the ceremony is also beautiful and is encouraging throughout it if you get a little sentimental through the vows which I appreciated. If would give her 10 stars I could.

Wedding Helen Bradley and her helper/Photographer Margaret, were awesome, friendly, professional and a joy to have to participant in our special day. We felt as if we knew them for a very long time. They were as family should be. As the bride and not from the City of Savannah, I wasn't sure of the best venue to have our intimate ceremony and looked at various lodging and places to have our wedding ceremony. Due to the present day Pandemic a lot of venues were closed or had limited/delayed response to our requests by phone and internet. I connected with Helen with Simple Savannah Weddings and the patient and magic began. We looked at Tybee Island and were recommended to several spots, but finally found the right location and our magical, romantic, intimate day arrived. The most intimate and great experience
My husband and I could not have asked for a better and more intimate experience. Helen was great! We also used her sister for photography and had a great time! She did beautiful pictures that really captured the love we have for one another. We laughed and cried the whole time. It was a great experience and we were very happy! We absolutely adored Helen! We were wanting something small and intimate, prior to a bigger event next year. She was recommended by the Judges here in Savannah and we couldn’t be more pleased. Helen and Margaret are wonderful! It was like close friends doing our wedding right from the start. Helen's ceremony was beautiful and incorporated our vows. It was so simple and easy, there was no stress and we had so much fun with them and doing the photos. Vow Renewal
We chose Savannah Simple Weddings for our vow renewal at Tybee Island. We wanted to have family pictures taken as well and Savannah Simple Weddings was able to do both. Living 600+ miles away we had to rely on e-mails and texts. Helen was very responsive and answered any questions we may have had. By the time we actually met in person, it felt like we have known each other for years! The vows Helen had us recite were sweet and simple. Margaret (Helen’s sister) was our photographer. She directed some of the poses but also gave us the freedom to pose where and how we wanted. Helen gave us the exact renewal we had envisioned and Margaret captured memories of our family at our favorite place. Thanks ladies!!

Very amazing!!!!
Helen came out to officiate my wedding, last minute and in the highest heat of the day. She even gave us a great deal!! And even though i was super nervous that I would mess up, she smiled at me and reassured me. She was very professional, while at the same time very lighthearted, fun, sweet, and just made it a very amazing event!!! Thank you so much Helen. My sister who was there today may be getting married next year and i will recommend you!

Amazing, Personal Experience!
We can't say enough about our experience with Savannah Simple Weddings! I am a wedding officiant myself, and am very particular. We traveled to Savannah from Wisconsin to renew our vows on our ten year anniversary, and hired Helen based on her professionalism and her price point. The bonus of having her sister Margaret as a photographer (and so reasonably priced!) was a big selling point too. I originally asked to write my own ceremony, but ended up getting sick and ran out of time. With literally two days notice, Helen put together such a beautiful, personal ceremony that really spoke to my husband's and my personalities. They were funny, flexible, and so personable. Honestly, they were the highlight of our whole trip! Margaret's photos were beautiful and she made us feel so relaxed. I can say nothing but wonderful things about them, and you won't regret selecting them for your ceremony.

Vowel renewal
I usually do not write reviews and have a very high standard. I have never given all 5s on a rating. Helen and Margaret made our day exceptional. We celebrated 20 years of marriage with family and friends. A small and intimate ceremony. Helen was quick to respond to our request, flexible when we needed to change the time, and made us all feel welcome as soon as we meet her. Helen's passion showed through as she performed the renewal. I had a family member ask, how we knew Helen as they did not remember her. When I shared we found her online and just meet before the ceremony, my family member was surprised. My family member shared watching the ceremony you would have thought Helen had known us for years.
I'm all about making and capturing memories. Helen helped us make a perfect ceremony. While her sister Margaret, captured our memories through photos. Margaret was fun from the moment we meet her. She took lots of pictures. She had great suggestions and listened to our wants. She had us all smiling and engaged throughout the photo session. Margaret, I look forward to scrapbooking the photos. We want to say thank you to both Helen and Margaret as they are a dynamic duo that brings the perfect touch to your special day.

Last Minute Booking
We had a family friend that was going to officiate for us, but that fell through within a month of our wedding. So after searching online, we found Helen! And I'm so glad we did! I already had a script written for our ceremony, so I sent that to her. She was willing to read the script I provided and did have our day available. She agreed to come to our rehearsal so we knew exactly how the ceremony would go the next day. Helen did such a beautiful job and really expressed love and enthusiasm while doing the reading. We also added an unconventional ceremony called a hand-fasting ceremony, and she was so flexible and willing to learn what that ceremony entailed. Thank you so much for making our ceremony so special! We were blown away!

Perfect Customized Vow Renewal
Helen delivered exactly what was promised: a simple, perfect, and affordable service. Maybe she didn't promise a perfect service, but that's what we got! She also graciously worked with us on dates. I was ill on the date of our vow renewal, and she changed to another date last minute for us. My favorite part about our renewal is that Helen customized it so much for us. This was our sixth renewal, but it was by far the most personalized one, so Helen made it really special for us. We won't forget her or our experience!

We couldn't have hoped for more
Living four hours away from our chosen wedding location made making arrangements "challenging", until we contacted Savannah Simple Weddings. Margaret was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. With only a small wedding party, we were looking to do something a little less formal, we had the perfect wedding in one of the cities squares. It was ideal. We also had her sister handle the photography. Although she claims to be an "amateur" she was unobtrusive during the ceremony and made the after photos a lot of fun. Although we've only seen a couple "teaser" shots so far (the wedding was only 2 days ago) from what I've seen I'm very confident we'll love the rest. Bottom line- the took the stress out of the simple ceremony we wanted and we couldn't possibly be happier we chose them.

Wonderful officiant and photographer
Helen was a wonderful officiant for our nuptials. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and very helpful in suggestions for a venue and anything else we needed. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed and performed our nuptials with true compassion and professionalism. Her sister, Margaret, was our photographer and she was such a joy to work with. She was very creative and also made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We are so happy we found Helen and Margaret and they really made our special day even more special. I would recommend them to anybody looking for an officiant and photographer no matter how big or small the ceremony will be.

Warm, flexible, and wonderful!
Helen is phenomenal. She knows her stuff and gave us great advice, particularly around the legal part of getting married--which we knew nothing about. She was willing to do whatever we wanted when it came to our ceremony, and she was one part of the day I NEVER worried about. She came to our rehearsal and even asked some important questions that our coordinators rushed past. She was always on our team, and even on the day-of, she printed vows for me, my husband-to-be, AND the maid of honor's speech! Helen went above and beyond for us, and we knew we were in great hands the whole time. If we got married again, I'd want Helen to officiate. I can't say enough about how lovely and grounding and knowledgable she is. Book her now before someone else snags your date!

THESE TWO SISTERS ARE AMAZING!!! We contacted them just four days before flying in to Savannah and they helped us create a memorable wedding. The ceremony was simple yet meaningful. Helen was an outstanding officiant. Margaret, her sister, spent time with us capturing the most beautiful photos for us to to cherish for the rest of our lives. She was creative and fun! This was so much more than we expected and were so pleased! They made the experience so easy for us. Helen knows how to handle all the legal documents which helped us since we were coming from Ohio.
