Sausalito was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. Countless people told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. One of our priorities when planning our wedding was the caterer, especially the quality/taste of food. Sausalito blew the competition out of the water on quality, price, and service. The staff was extremely professional from our very first tasting. Our worries about having a perfect day quickly became confidence throughout working alongside them. Sausalitos happened to be my wedding venues perferred caterer so we gave them a try, I'm so glad we did! At the tasting the food was so delicious and the portion sizes were huge. I was confident then I didn't need to look any further. I honestly can't say enough good things about Sausalitos! They served a plated dinner at our wedding for our guests and it was perfection! They cooked onsite so all the food was hot when served. We received so many compliments on the food, it was delicious! I honestly can't wait to go visit and have dinner there. Briarwood couldn't partner with a better catering company. The food was amazing. All of the guests loved everything and the few food allergies we had in our party were not a problem for Sausalito to handle. Even our experience at the tasting was wonderful. The only problem we had was deciding which meals to offer to our guests because everything was amazing and we honestly couldn't have picked wrong. We hired Sausalito for our wedding catering to serve around 150 guests. Charlotte, Babu, and the whole team at Sausalito were phenomenal to work with. The food was excellent (and we especially loved that the food was prepared on-site with a truck rather than off-site and then in warming trays for a long time). Our guests really enjoyed the meal! Additionally, the on-site manager ensured that the cocktail hour, dinner setup, meal, and desserts all flowed smoothly. They ensured that we were served first and had plenty of our dishes to enjoy, and also made the experience organized for our guests. Sausalito accommodated all of our guests' allergies, even some especially severe ones, which was much appreciated. They worked out logistics with our venue, and came on-site during our setup time to plan and ensure that the event ran as we pictured it. The tables were set up well for what we pictured as was the buffet. We couldn't have picked better caterers for our wedding and would highly recommend them!Sausalito Catering's reply:

From the very first moment we had a response email with Charlotte, to the incredible tasting where we had to box up some of the food, to the walk through and the final day. Charlotte was responsive to every email and phone call. Guest are still talking about how delicious and hot the the food was and the professionalism of the service. We've been to a lot of weddings where the food was just okay and was served cold. This was not the case. The bartenders and service staff was very responsive to our guests all night. We had a little snafu with our transportation service and the staff was very sweet and brought our parents back to the hotel. If you are searching for cater stop searching and book Sausalito.Sausalito Catering's reply:

Our wedding venue suggested Sausalito to us and we could not be happier with the entire experience. From our initial inquiry until the final minutes of our wedding communication was easy and enjoyable. Charolette made the wedding planning experience so fun and put our minds at ease…the entire team knows exactly what they are doing and they are doing it right! At our venue we had to have tables and chairs set up & tore down at the end of the night, Sausalito was able to do this for us. They also set up linens and flipped our space from ceremony to reception. We were able to completely enjoy our wedding knowing that we were in good hands!!
The food is awesome! We got compliments from so many of our guests that their food was delivered quickly and hot! It can be hard to serve 200+ people at a wedding and Sausalito did it seamlessly. Some crowd favorites were the chicken quesadillas for cocktail hour, the beef short rib and the eggplant parm with cheese ravioli.
I can not recommend Sausalito enough!! 10/10!Sausalito Catering's reply:

We found Sausalito through our venue and decided to give them a try, I was very impressed with the responsiveness of everyone I interacted with. Babu was fabulous at our tasting meeting and they even let us come back and try an additional app that we were thinking about. Charlotte was a dream to work with, she helped us with finding our linens as well and answered my million questions without any hesitation even if my email was at 3am (anxious thoughts you know). They were incredibly accommodating with allergies and made adjustments for those who wanted a dish but couldn't have one part of it. Everyone after the wedding told us how delicious the food and I couldn't agree more!Sausalito Catering's reply:

Made our dreams come true!
Charlotte and the Sausalito team were wonderful to work with from start to finish! We wanted to leave our guests with an incredible culinary experience and with the help of the Sausalito team we did just that! The Best Caterer for your wedding!!!
There are so many wonderful things I can say about our caterer! Let’s start off with the food! Do yourself a favor and do a tasting purely so you can eat their food twice because it’s so good!!! We worked with Charolette and she a dream vender to work with. She cared about every detail as much as we did! She was friendly and not only made sure everything tasted good but made she we had peace of mind when we went through our timeline and overall flow of the reception. Take it from someone who planned every single detail of their wedding having Charlotte and knowing she had everything covered with confidence really helped me enjoy my special day! We were very grateful to work with Sausalito and 10/10 would recommend other brides and grooms to use them too! -

Above and beyond!
Sausalito Catering went above and beyond on our wedding day! The food was outstanding and the staff members were so fun and professional. From set-up prior to the ceremony to after our send-off, the staff were so awesome to work with and laughed with us as if we’ve been friends for years. Special shout-out to Natalie who made sure our day was perfect! She went above and beyond during the planning process and on our wedding day. Her and her staff are truly amazing and we can’t thank them enough!

Charlotte, Natalie and the whole Sausalito team were absolutely amazing!! I have attended many weddings over the years and this was by far the best dinning experience I have come across. It really was that good!!
With prices going up for all sorts of food items, I thought that Charlotte was extremely fair.
Just an incredible experience.
5 Star!!
They really did exceed our expectations and we had some very discerning guests!!

WHAT AN AMAZING TEAM!!!!! Sausalito was fabulous, and our guest have not stopped raving about the food and the service. WE absolutely loved working with Charlotte and her team, they were stunning. We even had a hick-up with alcohol and their team managed seamlessly. If I had to do it all over again, Sausalito would be my first choice. They were by far the best catering team we coordinated with, from our initial tasting, to a second tasting, to helping with our postponed date, and managing all the set-up of not only food but all the dinner supplies as well as all of our random extras (The Old Courthouse Venue has nothing but they were well prepared with EVERYTHING), they were amazing to work with. Would recommend them for any and all party needs anytime!!! -

We emailed 10 catering teams and did tastings at 3 of them. Sausalito was hands down the best food we tasted. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was also great. Charlotte when above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! I did not worry day of knowing Charlotte and her team were getting everything ready. My daughter was married in October 2021 and the service, food and follow-up with Babu and Charlotte were unquestionably the reason my daughter had an amazing wedding. People are still talking about the food and the service! I have two sons who are not married and I am going to encourage them to get married in Cleveland and use Cafe Sausalito! Sourced by my wedding planner from Toronto, Sausalito has exceeded expectations by catering at my home for more that 300 people two years in a row. Not only was the food quality excellent but they managed to curate two very custom menus, provide excellent qualified staff on site to deliver an unprecedented experience for all mu guests. Very notable is their ability to anticipate needs early and also handle small emergencies on the day seamlesslessly. To be honest, I️ can't work with anyone else. I️ found them affordable and they sourced halal meat and provided a great tasting experience for the wedding! Best of the best!!!Sausalito Catering's reply:

The food was wonderful, people have been coming up to us ever since the wedding to let us know! But even more than the food, was Charlotte. She was way more than just the maitre D. She gave us insight on the timeline of the event, and had so much expertise. She was a wealth of knowledge, and even helped calm me down when things got stressful. She was always calm and collected. I could go on and on about her! The only thing I could complain about was the steaks being a little over cooked, but honestly no one noticed (except my father in law).Sausalito Catering's reply:

For our wedding we did our ceremony in the same place as the reception. During cocktail hour, the room had to be switched to full blown reception space. Sausalito not only served our delicious food, they set up our entire reception spot, while all of our guests were in the cocktail area! And cut and served our cake!Sausalito Catering's reply:

We were pleased with how flexible Sausalito Catering was when we needed to postpone our wedding reception due to the pandemic restrictions. Not typical wedding food like most caterers. Amazingly prepared on premises. Charlotte is amazing. Only thing that was bothersome was guest mentioning the servers not dressing professional. A simple white shirt and black pants would have been fine. The food was exceptional,. Guests raved!
