amazing must book!

Saul is amazing! From beginning to end he's a great to work with! Great pricing for all that you get. I got the photo booth and it was a major hit at my wedding, can't wait to see my album! He was directing everyone on how to pose and when I tell you he knows his stuff, he sure does! My pictures are amazing, obsessed with him!! Highly recommend

A++++ Experience!!!!!

I literally don’t have the words to tell you how awesome Saul Padua was. We hired him for our Engagement, Rehearsal party and for the entire Wedding day. We also used his Photo Booth which was another great addition to his services. Not only he delivers great photos but also is very professional, he helped to put us at ease straight away, we laughed lots and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend Saul if you want a photographer that gets involved, makes it fun and gets gorgeous photos that capture the love, romance and energy of a day that you work so hard for.
I cannot stress out on how important it is to hire a good photographer as well as a videographer, aside from your newlywed spouse, it is truly the only thing you keep to remember the happiest and most important day of your life! I would hire Saul a thousand times!

Saul Is The Greatest!

We booked Saul relatively last-minute for some engagement photos while we were in Puerto Rico for a cruise. He was SO incredible and easy to work with during our shoot. Our pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Our friends and family rave about our pictures. We loved working with Saul so much that we've also hired him to shoot our wedding in Colorado this December. He is professional, insanely talented, and really knows how to help his clients relax and have a great time during their shoot. We are so lucky we got the chance to meet and work with him while in Puerto Rico!

Amazing - saved our wedding day

When our wedding coordinator mis-informed Saul about when we were expecting him at the hotel, he made up all the time that was accidentally wasted, while still getting amazing, amazing pictures.

We haven't yet received our full contingent of photos, but he was efficient, interacted with everyone as humans and in a way that made us all smile and look good for the camera. He helps with poses, with arranging groups, and has a great eye for backgrounds as well as details. We look forward to the full set of photos! 100% recommended!

Our experience with Saul Padua

There are no words to express our gratitude for the Photography services of Saul Padua. He is an consummate professional. His pre-planning meeting allowed us to know in advance exactly what to expect. On our wedding day, he showed up early, left late, and quickly got us prepared for our big day. He laid out his expectations and there were no surprises. Our wedding was the most beautiful day ever and Saul captured all of its beauty in the photos. His staging was phenomenal and it translated very well in the photos. He provided so many beautiful pictures -- the biggest challenge was narrowing them down and making final selections. His work is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! His pricing was commensurate with the quality of his work and the services provided. Saul also worked VERY well with our videographer (NDF Films).

It is not easy having a destination wedding, Saul made it a seamless, enjoyable and fun experience. Our guests are still raving about him and our photos. I would HIGHLY recommend Saul Padua Photography Services for your wedding, anniversary or special events. There is no other photographer on the island of Puerto Rico better than Saul Padua.

There are no words to thank Saul enough for being our photographer on our wedding day. I've known Saul for a few years from work events, but taking wedding shots is no breeze. Saul was considerate, helpful, and attentive to detail. Our guests never felt that he was ever in the way - in fact he blended right in throughout the event. He made sure we got all the shots we wanted, and knew what we wanted as a couple. Saul also had a photobooth via Pixealo which we used as our guestbook. This was a very fun for our event and the guests loved it. I thank Saul for his work. All the feedback was great, and I'm sure our wedding planner will be working with him on future events.

Wow where do we even begin! We are beyond thankful to have chosen Saul Padua Photography to capture our big day!! From the moment we met Saul, we hit it off and knew Saul Padua Photography was the perfect choice. We immediately felt so comfortable and could see the great passion he has for his work. We chose Saul as our photographer and he is just AMAZING!!!! Felt instantly like he was a part of my family and you never knew where he would show up for the perfect photo op! Just awesome at directing all the family members during the "formal" pics! So professional and easy to be around!!! We were sad to see him go as he was just a special part of the night! Saul was amazing! From planning to our wedding, he was extremely responsive, professional, and actually listened to what we wanted. Of all the photographers we interviewed for our wedding, he was the only one who cared about what we wanted and didn't push us to add things on or spend more time taking formal shots than we wanted. Our wedding was very active and we really wanted a lot of candid shots. Saul delivered on every aspect we could have asked for and we would recommend his services to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day.

In simple words, Saul is the best! He makes you feel comfortable, every pose is natural and the quality of the albums and photos is amazing. He made a beautiful love story album and I had a tough time trying to pick the photos for the wedding album because we loved them all.

Saul Photography is the best in the industry. He is a tad expensive, but you pay for what you get... and Saul is nothing short of excellent and amazing! A true professional and visionary: Saul is innovative, punctual, and accommodating. Most importantly, he and his team were FUN! They were easy to work with, and we truly enjoyed having them around all night. It would be a mistake to book anyone else.

Where do I start, Saul is the best of the best. He did my sisters wedding back in 2009 and now did mine on Saturday 8-13-2016. Photography is his passion and he really puts his most effort and professionalism in all his work. He did, engagement pics, a video for wedding, poster, Photo Booth and wedding pics. He is truly amazing and his work shows it. Strongly recommend it to anyone.

Words cannot express how amazingly talented Saul is. We had our destination wedding in June, but a year ago we had him as our photographer for our engagement photo shoot. It was an adventure to see the magic through his lens... The pictures came out beautifully and we have guests who ask about him all the time! He is truly one of the most passionate, inspirational, and talented people I've ever met. He went above and beyond at our wedding to make sure he took as many beautiful photos as possible. He is adaptable and takes your vision very seriously. I honestly felt so safe and happy to be in his good hands... you just know he genuinely wants to capture all the special moments in your wedding. I would recommend Saul over and over again!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Saul as our wedding photographer. He and his staff did a flawless job. They were very creative with the shots, were really flexible about where and when to meet us, and truly made our wedding a memorable event. All night, guests of our wedding kept coming up to us saying how awesome he was and that they wish they had as great of a photographer for their weddings. Saul kept us smiling and even had us standing in traffic to get the most unique and amazing shot.

We're counting down the days until our photos are ready. I know they will be amazing based on the scenes he chose for our shots and the few sneak peaks he gave us during the night. I would recommend Saul in a heartbeat and would certainly use his services again if we are back in the San Juan area. Don't even think twice about booking Saul and his team!

UPDATE: We just got our photos back and are completely blown away. There are so many amazing shots!! We couldn't have chosen a better photographer to capture our wedding so perfectly. Hands down, Saul is the best!

Saul was very flexible with time and location due to weather. We are extremely happy with our photos. He gave us the digital copies of the high-resolution photos which was amazing and allowed us flexibility with use of our photos.

Saul and his assistant photographed our wedding at the beautiful Hacienda Siesta Alegre in Puerto Rico. We chose him in particular because of his style. He has a great eye for capturing those special moments when you think no one is looking. It was raining on our wedding day, but you wouldn't know it from our photos! Everything looks picture-perfect in the sneak peek photos he sent us just 2 days after our wedding! He was a lot of fun to work with on our special day, we can't wait to see all our photos!
Oh! I almost forgot about this - we booked Saul back in April, months before our wedding, but we decided to place a deposit only rather than pay the full amount. Saul was very flexible with us asking to do this. In July, PR implemented a tax hike that would have cost us a few hundred dollars on the remaining balance with Saul. He contacted us a few days before the tax hike went into effect so we could pay down the rest of the balance and save a few hundy. Awesome guy, he was definitely looking out for us!
I would highly recommend Saul and his talents to anyone looking for a photographer in PR. He is the BEST!

Working with Saul and his team throughout the process of planning our wedding was seamless; he was always helpful, flexible, and courteous. When it came to our wedding day, they were on time and as excited as we were. They were easy to get along with and open to any ideas we had, which made it feel like we were collaborating with friends, instead of being told where to stand. His photo journalistic style really brought out great moments happening during the wedding. The photos arrived earlier than promised and we were very impressed. If we have the opportunity to work with a photographer in the future we would love to work with Saul again. Excellent!! Pictures: Beautiful! He does everything in his power to make the bride and groom happy. He even jumped in a bus with us and the wedding party from the Church to the Reception so we could take the pictures fast and enjoy the entire party. I recommend him without a doubt.

OMG! Saul is SOOOOOO fun to work with! In addition to being good at his craft, Saul took time to make us laugh and provided a level of comfort that made us feel like family. Saul helped me when my lipstick was on my teeth, and even helped the minister that had his robe button incorrectly. Rodney and I had so much fun taking the pictures we actually felt like models. Saul worked with us to made sure that every single detail was correct. I am so excited! I am going to post him as a vendor in Dallas AND I hope that he is willing to travel, because we have many family events coming that will need a photographer. And several couple at my wedding, want to use him

We live in New Jersey and did a destination ceremony in Puerto Rico. I found Saul Padua online and fell in love with his unique style. Needless to say he did not disappoint and exceeded all of our expectations! We love our pictures and so does our family and friends. We constantly get compliments on how wonderful they came out! We hired Saul for our wedding in Vieques. Saul provided us with wonderful service and made us feel at ease during our photo sessions.

For example, I can be timid at times (especially when taking photos) and Saul guided me through all the frames. He provided my husband and I with clear directions while allowing us to have fun.

Saul has a unique eye for great shots and lighting. We loved working with Saul during our engagement shoot. Immediately, after our engagement shoot, we knew we made the right choice.

During our wedding day, Saul was relaxed, energetic, and quick. He successfully captured all of our desired pictures without being imposing or overwhelming us. For example, during the reception, Saul navigated the congested dance floor and was like a "ninja" taking photos from every angle.

The most important thing for us was to find the perfect photographer.
Looking at Sauls wedding Pictures on his website convinced us to choose him. He is just AWESOME!
We loved his Pictures right away.
We contacted him via email and the next day we got the confirmation that he will be able to work for us on "our" day:)
Helping us out in every way he could, like finding us the perfect place to get married and other vendors helped us a bunch!
If you are planning a Destination wedding you have to have a Person you can trust 150% especially on this Special day.

He made our day and he also made the months after the wedding by sending us our wedding pictures which are absolutely stunning.-sometimes you cant even remember where he took some of those pictures because you didn't remember him seeing there:)

Please stop and read this review because it's the only one you'll need to read to make a decision. If Saul Padua is available to take photos of your wedding, hire him!!! The man is like a Ninja because every time i looked around he was shooting through a bush or sneaking around for different angles. His creativity for those perfect shots is why you leave these decisions to professionals like Saul. Your wedding day is one of the most significant and memorable days you will ever experience in your life so do what you need to do and spend the money on Saul to shoot your wedding.

If you haven't seen enough of his work, he has many moments captured on his Facebook page that are breathtaking. I can't stress enough how important it is to be able to trust your photographer in making sure that everything progresses without a Hitch and Saul and his assistant did just that. The other factor was that this was a destination wedding for us but Saul was available whenever we needed to talk. He even suggested we Skype so that we could get to know each other a bit so we did. He wanted to know what was important to us so that he could make sure he captured every moment and at that point we knew he'd be our guy.

One of our pictures was posted on Saul's Facebook page on November 14th and shown in black and white. Yes i was a bubbling idiot but if you were marrying the one i got you would be too.

I hope this review has helped everyone in making their decisions because we know how tough it can be to pull the trigger. However, we just wanted to take the stress down a little because i'm sure there's a lot more on your plate. You have an amazing photographer here and well worth the every penny. So check this one off the list and hire Saul. You won't regret it.

Saul was highly recommended to us by the event coordinator at the Wyndham Rio Mar and we couldn't be happier with his services. He was very professional and easy to work with. He worked with us to make sure we were getting any shots that we really wanted. I even contacted Saul for help obtained sparklers, which are difficult to order from our home state of Illinois, and he went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to have them. He managed to do all this for us in the middle of a hurricane! We also had a photo booth for the last two hours of our reception and it was the highlight of the evening. Our friends and family had so much fun and greatly enjoyed the props. We received a CD with all of the photo booth images and were able to share them with our guests via a website. Saul is very creative and his photos turned out amazing. We are very grateful for all Saul did for us!

It was just amazing working with Saul, he makes you feel very comfortable and is very professional. We wanted someone that could capture moments that we would have missed by dancing the night away, and also to be experience in outdoor beach weddings. Saul was the guy for us. I don't have my photos back yet, but I had to say that Saul was an amazing photographer, and we had a ton of fun with him! He obviously has a ton of experience, and so for the most part, we let him direct us, since after all, he is the professional! We only had contracted for a couple hours, but he stayed for an extra hour so we could get all the shots we wanted. In addition, he convinced a local to let us onto her balcony so we could get photographs on the balcony, which was awesome. I'll comment more when I see the photos, but the time we spent with him was fun and relatively relaxing, and he was a pleasure to work with!

We got married at La Concha Resort in San Juan, PR. When we were on our search for vendors, a friend of mine had recommended Saul, who had photographed her cousin's wedding in PR a few years back. As soon as I went online to do some more research, I saw all of Saul's work and loved his style of photography. My husband and I were in PR a few months prior to our wedding and met Saul in person and loved him immediately. He was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We were still looking for an Officiant at the time and asked him his thoughts and he called Rev Santana on the spot and got us an appointment with him to meet the following day, which was a great recommendation as we ended up having him as our officiant as well and he was amazing! But back to Saul :) , Saul was very professional and responsive throughout the whole planning process and also has a very user friendly website where everything can easily be managed from payments to information needed for shot list etc. It really makes planning a wedding from afar seamless. He also has a Photo Booth business which we ended up adding to our photography package. The day of the wedding, Saul was also just so awesome in setting up the right shots and I cannot wait to see the photos soon. It was such a great experience working with Saul and we would highly recommend him!

My husband and I were a little hesitant about planning a destination wedding because we would be sending money for deposits to vendors we did not know much about and we were just nervous about the whole idea. We had never visited Puerto Rico before and we didn't know anyone who had or anyone who could provide us with recommendations. We found Saul Padua Photography on wedding wire and compared him with another photographer. He was then recommended to us by our resort and our wedding coordinator! After viewing his portfolio and hearing those recommendations we knew he would be the perfect photographer for our special day. He had a safe and secure website where we could pay our deposits. He always responded to our requests in a timely manner. He was very courteous and professional. He made suggestions about things to do and places to go while on our vacation and the most important thing of all our pictures are absolutely beautiful! Our wedding photos tells the story of our special day. From the time I was getting dressed all the way till we were cutting our cake and enjoying our reception! We also booked Saul for a "trash the dress shoot." Not only did we have so much fun but the moments he was able to capture on film are unbelievable! Saul is amazing. We absolutely loved him. The hiring process was easy. He has a great website, and he made it simple for us to pay for his services through his website (or by sending a check etc.). He texted us the day of our wedding to reconfirm what time we wanted him there. He arrived earlier than he said he would and stayed later than he said he would! He was so cheerful and happy during our entire wedding. (Guests told us that he was the happiest wedding photographer ever!) He showed us photos periodically, which was awesome. He checked in with us frequently to make sure that he was getting all the photos we wanted, and he checked with us several times before he left. The photos are amazing. Anyone can take pictures. Saul doesn't only take pictures, he also captures special moments. Saul is a great guy and very professional. Working with him was very easy. I cannot say enough good things about Saul Padua. He was simply wonderful. The price was excellent, the pictures were outstanding, and Saul was SO great to work with. Funny guy and kind-hearted. He was very confident as a photographer and led us in setting up most of the shots, but he was also open to our ideas when we had specific shots we wanted. Many photographers do not want your input, which is silly since it IS your big day. But Saul was great. He has a great eye for photography...especially if you like the editorial style and not so much the traditional posed portraits (although we got some of those, too). We were most impressed by Saul's flexibility and understanding though. We had a beach wedding in Isabela, which is about a 2 hour drive from San Juan. The day of the wedding it rained and we had to move our schedule around a bit to make sure it was not raining during the ceremony. Saul was easy to contact and went with the flow when changes were made. And Saul arrived earlier than we paid him for....and stayed later than what we paid him for...all because he seemed to just love his job that much. He did not charge us any additional fees. I just cannot thank him enough for capturing our beach wedding memories like he did...the photos turned out so great! Oh - and we received them all by email and on a CD within two weeks. Pretty awesome. :)

Saul is the best! We were able to do three locations and two outfits in a 1.5 hour timespan, complete with the best pictures. He is also very friendly and gives you great advice about local places to visit, things to do and dishes to try. Also, the post office messed up and send my pictures to the wrong address, but once I let Saul know he was really kind and resend me the pictures the same day (!) with express service. I would recommend Saul to anyone.

I really loved Saul Padua!! He was sooo easy to work with and just knew what he was doing...He gave us good directions for taking pictures and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable! He arrived promptly on time, and immediately got to work taking pictures of my gown and all the girls getting ready....He has a very tasteful style, and is so creative with ways to capture amazing shots...I cannot recommend him enough!! He was able to handle the stresses of my annoying family trying to get in the way of the pictures, and nicely directly folks so they knew what to do!...it was exactly what I wanted, and he even exceeded my expectations.

I wanted to get some photos taken when we were in San Juan. We were renewing our vows and the city and surrounding area are so beautiful. I found Saul during my search for the right photographer and he was seriously amazing. He took all of the photos I was hoping to get and more. We asked for artistic shots and he definitely came through. He knew all the perfect spots in Old San Juan and at the beach. I can't recommend him enough.

Saul Padua photographed our wedding day at La Concha. He was professional and friendly, and added to the fun of our wedding! He worked so well with our wedding planner, and was a huge help in figuring out the timing of our photos and the ceremony. My husband and I did a "first look" prior to the ceremony which was so fun, and Saul helped set up some amazing photos after the ceremony on the beach as the sun was setting. There were a couple of photos that we really wanted to have, and Saul did a great job of remembering what we asked for and getting it done. He set up some great artistic shots during the reception, and took tons of candids as well. He showed us a few of the shots on his camera and they looked unbelievable -- we can't wait to see the final photos! We are very happy with him so far, and can't wait to see our edited photos and album. I'd recommend him for sure!

Saul was fabulous to work with! I hired him to cover our rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and rented a photo booth for 2 hours during the reception. Saul was very flexible and responsive. The contracting process was easy and I really loved his work from his website. Saul's creativity and ability to capture moments was a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to see the photos he has captured from our day. He was willing to go above and beyond for us - we wanted to leave the hotel and go in to Old San Juan to take some photos around the fort and in the streets with all the colorful buildings. The shots he set up were amazing and I felt very comfortable with him. He even scaled the side of a building in Old San Juan to get the right angle for the shot he was creating. The photo booth was TONS of fun - everyone loved dressing up in the props and had a great time. This provided some wonderful candid moments for us to remember. We gave the photo booth to our guests as the "favor" for the wedding. Each strip printed in duplicate and had our name and wedding date on the bottom. LOVED working with Saul!

Recently got married @ LaConcha. Saul was the photographer for our destination wedding. My husband and I did research on photographers and reached out to a few, we decided to go with Saul because he was flexible, responsive and seemed friendly.

When he got to the room, I was a little stressed out and had a frown on my face. He got me and the other girls laughing and acting goofy within minutes. From time to time, he gave everyone direction on where to look and how to stand and at first my husband and I felt silly, even awkward, but then he'd show us how the photo turned out on his screen and we immediately knew to listen to Saul! He took a lot of candid shots as well.

I have been anxious to see the photos and I know it takes time, it's only been 3 weeks but Saul sent a link to about 25 - 30 images from our big day and my husband and I were truly impressed. He captured all our feelings and emotions and there are photos in there that we don't even remember taking or parts we didn't even know were being photographed. Saul and his assistant were fabulous. We cannot wait to see the rest of the photos and start working on our album.

Highly recommend Saul and his work! A lot of our friends/family commented how nice and fun he was. Thanks Saul!!

After months of researching the perfect photographer, we chose Saul Padua for our wedding in Rincon, PR. From the moment Saul and his assistant arrived on our wedding day, I knew we made the right choice. They were friendly, fun, creative, all while being extremely professional. The duo was very easy to work with and relaxing to be around. It was immediately clear that it was important to Saul that we were comfortable and able to laugh which made the entire day even more enjoyable.

Saul was able to capture posed photos without making them look staged, and natural photos were beautiful and unique. The day went by so smoothly, the entire wedding party had a great time.

A few weeks later we received the link for our photos, and they were stunning. Seriously phenomenal. The images capture our own stories and the story of our wedding. We can't wait to receive our album! We highly recommend using Saul Padua for your special day!

Saul was very professional and timely! He was a joy to work with and we absolutely loved our wedding photos. I would highly suggest using his services for wedding photography. We looked at several wedding photographers before choosing one - and I know that we chose the best. He has flexible photography packages available that allow you to add an extra hour or photobooth services, etc. It is great to be able to customize it to exactly what you want.

I cannot say enough good things about Saul. I found Saul on Wedding Wire and looked through a few of his photos. I immediately fell in love with his view of the world! He is an amazing photographer and is extremely professional. He made our day so much more wonderful. He and his assistant worked together to make sure every shot was gorgeous. We only did engagement photos so I cannot speak as to the wedding pictures. We had a 2.5-3 hour session and got about ~200 pictures, both online and on DVD. I liked Saul's artistic style, that's why we decided to do a photo session with him in the first place, and our pictures came out great! It was also a pleasure to work with Saul, he was very flexible and accommodating, trying to make our photo shoot look more natural. It did take sometime to get the DVD due to some combination of personal/mail issues, but Saul contacted me about that and sent the DVD with one day delivery in the end. We are planning a wedding for next summer and would certainly consider hiring him if we end up in PR.

My wife and I are pretty picky and have good eyes for quality. All I can say is that Saul was phenomenal...absolutely phenomenal. His website and communication before the wedding were excellent, his professionalism the day of was top notch, and the photos came out just beautiful.

We opted for the DVD only service and the value on that is impossible to beat. Just what we needed and if we were to get married again, we'd go with Saul, no question!

Saul was AWESOME! I must admit my husband and I were really nervous about the quality of service we would receive because we are from the states and were at the mercy of the vendors when we had our wedding in Puerto Rico. Boy, did we worry for nothing! Everything turned out beautifully. Saul has such a spectacular eye for detail. Our pictures came out fabulously! I wish we could go back and do it all again. Saul was our photographer for our destination Wedding at La Concha. He was GREAT to work with and quickly replied to all of my emails leading up to the Wedding. Saul was very professional and friendly and our entire bridal party enjoyed taking pictures with him along with our guests. We also purchased the photo booth option with Saul and it was a HUGE hit. The pictures turned out great and Saul brought all of the props to go along with it. Saul was the absolute BEST!! He arrived on time and took tons of pictures in my hotel suite as I got dressed and got the best shots on the beach after our ceremony. I cannot wait to see the professional photos.
