  Engagement shoot makeup and hair was on point- next is the Big Day Trial

  Reyna was awesome, it really was like an educational moment. She knows her stuff and I learned a lot. She did an awesome look for our engagement shoot and I already am booked for my trial and big day. She helped confirm my biggest fear of sweating my makeup away could easily be fixed by her insider secret formula stuff. I am super grateful I found her in time!

  Reyna and her team did an amazing job getting me ready for my big day. Reyna genuinely cared about vision and was flexible. Highly recommend her and her team.

  Amazing and Talented Makeup Artist

  Reyna did a great job explaining each step. Reyna also was very cleaned and kept her brushes and hands sanitized. Each product she put on my face she explained its purpose and how it would work on my skin. Reyna was very observant and took time to ask about any allergies and helped me with my future makeup.

  I would recommend Reyna to anyone looking to get their makeup done. Overall, she was amazing! I wasn't the bride for the wedding but she did a beautiful job of making the whole wedding party feel comfortable and confident. Her personality was also very easy-going and she really took into consideration what would look best on each person and what they would like. I loved it!

  Late, Unresponsive, Overcharged, Unsatisfactory

  Super disappointed :-(. I have never written a negative review in my life, and am really sad to do this because Reyna was so nice and down to earth (and did some great work, particularly with makeup). But the services were problematic. They arrived late, and did not seem prepared for the quantity and quality of work they needed to do, despite being provided with a full list and photo samples in advance. We're not a high-maintenance bunch, but several people were disappointed with their hair. We pushed back the time for photos (by well over an hour) because they were running so behind, but some people were still getting their makeup done as we started shooting. Others didn't end up getting their hair/makeup done at all. What was really a bummer for me was seeing this stress out the bride, especially knowing how much effort she had put into planning out this day so that everything would run smoothly on schedule. And you know what? Shit happens, we get it-- I don't know what unexpected circumstances may have made Reyna and her team arrive late and then run behind. But that's because they never communicated that. Never explained, never acknowledged, never apologized for any of it. And when the bride reached out to her after the wedding about services that were paid for but never provided, Reyna didn't respond to emails, texts, or phone calls. I'm glad that so many people had a great experience here, but I would personally not be inclined to hire after an experience that lacked reliability and integrity.

  Incredibly unprofessional artist that overcharged for incomplete services.

  I was very excited for my time with Reyna- she was kind and thoughtful leading up to the event. Unfortunately, she was a very disappointing hire, who ran behind her own schedule, charged me for services she didn’t end up completing and conveniently stopped responding to any communication post-wedding.
  
  I’ve been in many weddings and completed wedding hair services myself and I’ve never come across a vendor as unprepared and unprofessional as Reyna.
  
  I was first concerned when I needed to follow up several times after she promised a timeline and didn’t deliver. I also noticed that during our hair and make up trial, she was confident with makeup but struggled with executing my vision for hair. She promised this is common and we would be ready to execute on my wedding day. In the actual wedding day, she arrived 45 minute later than scheduled time of arrival with very little communication. Additionally, they ran incredibly behind schedule and the entire team struggled with anyone with thicker hair- even with simple hair styles such as braids, crimped hair, twists or simple curls. As someone who does hair, I know these were not complicated asks. Unfortunately, the artists struggled and we ran behind schedule. Reyna seemed a bit unaware with the over 1.5 hours delay and my friends and I needed to redo the timing for her.
  
  Unfortunately, it only got worse in that the quality of hair on my Maid of Honor was so unacceptable I needed to redo the service myself and we ran out of time to complete everyone’s services that we paid for in advance. I also did my own hair due to the delay and incredibly disappointing quality of artisanship.
  
  Hoping to reconcile these differences and gain a refund for several incomplete services, I reached our multiple times over email, text and phone call. These services can add up; however, I never heard any response back and feel it is important to let other potential brides know of my situation so that you don’t find yourself in a compromising situation.
  
  On the bright side, her team did a great job with make up and also seemed to be more comfortable with very thin hair. Fortunately, everyone made the most of the situation and we were able to laugh it off by the time festivities began.

  Would not recommend!

  I recently had my hair done for a friend's wedding with Sauced Up Makeup. We provided photos in advance, but my final hair looked very far from the photos I had provided (even my husband agreed). They showed up late to the venue and were extremely slow with hair and makeup (they had 3 artists but it seemed only 1 could do hair/makeup sufficiently and alone) and as a result, the hair/makeup schedule was at least 1-2 hours behind schedule. In the end, several hair/makeups never got done before the wedding (including the bride's hair, bride's sister's makeup, etc) My friend has been trying to reach them to discuss their lack of timeliness and get a refund on the services that were never done, and they have not responded back. Very unprofessional and would not recommend, especially if you have more than 1-2 people in your party. I recently got married and believe wedding day can already be chaotic; your hair/makeup team should show up on time, be flexible, and create a relaxing experience so you and your family/friends can look their best for the big day. This was not the case for my friend and so, I'd recommend you look elsewhere if you're looking for a smooth experience.

  Late, unable to complete paid for services at a wedding!!!

  I was appalled by the unprofessional services rendered at the wedding where we were asked to pre-pay for hair and makeup.
  I provided several photos prior to the day of the wedding (loose, large, beach waves) and even showed another picture of the same style before I sat down for my hair —- and the hair stylist tried twice and failed horribly (I ended up having very tight crimped hair). We had to change plans last minute and the bride ended up doing my hair (in an updo to hide the damage) as Reyna and her team were horribly behind schedule. Furthermore, I paid for makeup and due to her team running significantly behind schedule there was only time for eyeshadow! I had to apply the rest of the makeup myself. I think it is HIGHLY unprofessional in the fact that her team did not communicate that they were running significantly late to arrive at our venue and then fell so far behind that they couldn’t finish the promised services. Reyna should have hired a bigger team or asked to arrive earlier! Can’t believe that they thought it was ok to stress out the bridal party in this way and never even acknowledge or apologize for this unpleasant experience.
