    We just got married last weekend and we couldn’t be happier. It was the best day ever! Food is a huge thing for us and the head chef was more than willing to create a different kind of menu with a carving station, create your own pasta station, a veggie station etc. EVERY SINGLE person has called or texted us to say how amazing it was. Alex was super easy to work with and made everything absolutely perfect. And the views are incredible. Highly highly reccomend!

    Saticoy was not my top choice for wedding venue originally, but it turned out to be the best and most wonderful spot for my day. It ended up pouring (the one day in california where it rained...) and therefore made my vision of an outdoor wedding my entire life not possible. However, Alex and Saticoy made the indoor ceremony (put together at the last moment per my request to wait out the rain) something of a beautiful dream. The venue was incredible, the service was outstanding, the food tasted divine. Alex was wonderful to work with - I highly recommend Saticoy and Alex to any bride. Everything about the venue was beautiful and perfect. This was not the wedding I had thought I had wanted for so long, but this venue made it much better than I could have asked for.

    We are so thankful to Alex Galaviz of Saticoy Country Club and his team. Our daughter was married there on a very rainy day and we had planned on an outdoor ceremony and had to move indoors. Alex went above and beyond and creatively found a way to make the indoor ceremony absolutely magical and beautiful and our little girl was able to walk down a real aisle with her daddy.

    We have now heard from countless friends who were there — the service and food was outstanding. Our friends could not believe how delicious the food was and how attentive and courteous and timely the staff was. The portions were very satisfying as well! The setting was intimate and cozy, yet spacious enough and enjoyable for our guests.

    It truly was a wonderful “Plan B” day and for that we can thank Alex. Throughout our entire planning, he was kind, easy to work with, open to thinking out of the box, respectful, and extremely responsive and helpful. There was no nickel and diming us - in fact, he worked within our budget and we never felt he was selling us on anything. It felt like a partnership. He is a kind and good man as well, always professional, but personable and authentic.

    Thank you Alex. Thank you Saticoy. Thank you servers and staff. My daughter and two families will forever have a beautiful wedding day memory because of you and this beautiful club.

    Words can not do justice to the WEDDING this amazing venue hosted for me & my new Hubby!
    MANAGER: Alex! You are simply a delight! If you are seeking the most accommodating, efficient, diligent, top notch venue manager, HERE HE . IS! We came to Alex in a quick pinch (5 months notice) to throw a hopeful New Years Eve Extravaganza Wedding. He made it happen!
    CEREMONY: We were married at night 6pm (in January so minimal lighting). We married on one of the holes....and used one area as seating for 170 + guests and the other area as a stage. Groom/Bride were essentially on a raised up stage, therefore it was relatively easy for everyone to see us! XO
    FOOD: First things first, let's talk the good stuff! The Groom & I have been to our fair share of weddings...(Like VERY EXPENSIVE OVER THE TOP weddings). We are personally easy going but LOVE Mexican Food so we requested a Mexican Buffet/Taco Bar situation. And let me tell you this was a HUGE hit for everyone! Every single person LOVED our food! Compliments to the CHEF! In addition, I requested (on late notice no less:) a vegan meal for quite a few of our guests! EVERY SINGLE VEGAN LOVED their meal! (Think Chili Relleno) They were over the top thrilled!
    DRINKS: We opted for an OPEN BAR (I mean, it was New Years Eve after All!) The coordinator I hired suggested we bring a bar into the grand room, to keep everyone on the dance floor! Alex worked the room & helped us make the room perfect!
    LOCATION: SOMIS! I personally grew up in Somis and was looking for a venue close to home. This location was sentimental for me due to the fact that I was able to ready at home and celebrate with everyone at this wonderful venue.
    VENDORS: CATERING, TABLES, CHARIS, LINEN, BAR, SERVICE/WAIT STAFF, were all provided by Alex & the Club. We brought in Flowers, extra specialty desserts, Specialty touches (napkins/cups/decor), DJ, WonderWall (Flower Walls for sweetheart back drop, a Greenery Backdrop for a "selfie-station". XO

    Our wedding was perfect. The Saticoy Country Club and Alex Galaviz made our dream wedding possible. Our guests had a great time. The Saticoy Country Club constantly showed high quality of service and professionalism. I would book The Saticoy Country Club for future events.

    The moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and tasty beverages by Alex, the event manager. He made us feel right at home. After he helped us with the details and the process, getting a gorgeous grand tour...my husband and I looked at each other and I said I'M DOWN! LET'S BOOK IT!!! Besides the lovely view overlooking Ventura/Oxnard, besides the secluded ceremony area, besides the giant bridal room, besides the complimentary golf carts, besides the flowers and cake included, besides the gorgeous recpetion area with wide open windows from your feet to the ceiling and the amazing dance floor, besides the best tasting food,....it was really Alex that made all of the difference for us. He is humble and genuine, extremely hard working, and values his co-workers. The excellence of his team really shines light on the concept of leadership. Every vendor I spoke with knew Alex and had amazing things to say about him. We are so happy with our choice.

    We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Both were wonderful. The clouds were perfect, the weather..although warm, created a grest backdrop in combination with the lush of green all around. We had our arch beautifully decorated beyond words by Yamaguchi flowers..which were included in the package. After the ceremony, we were allowed to take golf carts to various locations

    Upon our grand enterance we were immediately greeted with our food and our drink of choice. The whole night the staff checked in with us along with our guests.

    We didn't have to worry about a thing. All the tables were set up with favors, displays, etc. Was set up and taken care of before we arrived.

    The wedding was a hit. I am getting so many compliments about how fun it was :).

    I wish I could relive that night. It was the happiest day!

    I could not have asked for a better place for our day. It was the most beautiful setting, quality service, personable people to work with. And Alex is the kind of person who makes everything worth your while. Everyone knew who he was and his quality extra mile services when I brought up his name to various venues and people in the area. The kind of person where everyone knows your name...that was Alex. My husband immediately liked him because he was a real person not just trying to sell you a package, he was trying to give you what you envisioned for your day. The prices were so reasonable and the location was breath taking. They provided floral arrangements, food, planning, just a full one stop shop all around.
    We even got to ride the golf carts to and from the gorgeous dressing rooms to the ceremony site in addition to the photo locations. It was so beautiful. It was so much fun, so memorable. The ceiling lighting with the decor was absolutely breath taking. The flowers from Yamaguchi's were perfect. I can't believe how fast the day went because everything went on without a hitch. it was great! My husband was happy because he got the perfect steak he wanted, the mother and father of the bride and groom were very pleased. Everyone worked really well together, communication was clear, the drinks were flowing, it just all worked out nicely. I have gone to multiple weddings with family and friends and they still compare their time spent at other locations to ours (ours was better ;]). I would highly recommend this location, and I know my husband and everyone who attending this venue would say the same. Alex is a real leader. He is a true team player. He will go far in any direction he chooses to in this trade, and any venue would be lucky to have him; and any bride would be lucky to hire his location. It was the perfect match for our special day. Don't think twice about it, pick Saticoy.

    I had my wedding in May of 2017 at Saticoy Country Club, and it was absolutely perfect. Alex was so easy to work with, attentive, and responded to every e-mail really quickly. I planned from North Carolina, where we live, and he made it so easy. I seriously cannot thank him enough for all he did for us. I really appreciate that he was flexible and worked within my budget. The grounds are beautiful for pictures and ceremony, and the reception room is amazing - they have the most beautiful, romantic ceiling which made the pictures look fantastic. There is also a huge room for the bride/bridesmaids to get ready in that made the day go that much more smoothly. I highly recommend this venue.

    I recently celebrated my wedding at Saticoy Country Club. Let me start by saying everything was beautiful, just what I wanted. From the venue, decor, to Alex! Alex was there to serve and deliver just what you want and he is always there in everything you need, which is great! The food, need I mention, is amazing. All my guests were in awe in the variety of amazing food.
    Overall, I'm overly pleased with the venue and service. Would recommend to any bride & groom to be.

    Working with Alex was fantastic. He was so accommodating and always made things possible. He responds to any questions you may have within a timely matter and makes sure that the day of your event goes very smoothly. Would definitely recommend Saticoy County Club to anyone.     Alex and his entire staff did an amazing job. Every guest that attended our event was very complimentary to how polite, attentive, professional and friendly the staff was. The food was excellent. Chef Jeff and his staff did a spectacular job. A big priority for the Bride was to have a really nice dinner for her guests, and Chef did such a great job helping them choose the best options for their special day and still keeping within their budget. Our guests raved about the food and how well it was prepared. The setting of the golf course is beautiful with distant views of the Ocean, its just fabulous and serene. Saticoy Country Club is a hidden gem! They go above and beyond to make your event personal and special.

    Alex Galaviz and his staff at the Saticoy Country Club took such great care of us and our guests at my daughters wedding. From our first meeting with Alex we knew we were in good hands. He made himself available to meet and discuss arrangements and answered all of our questions. The venue was beautiful. The staff was professional and attentive. The food was fabulous. I could go on and on.

    My wedding planning was stress free because Alex's and his staffs excellent service! I received so many great compliments from all my guest on the venue and services provided on our wedding. I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it over again. Everyone was very pleasant and made us all feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this place.

    I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married. The food and service was amazing. They made everything easy from picking linens to lighting. Alex is extremely experienced and responsive and gave us advice throughout the whole process. We visited the site several times including to look at other wedding set ups. The venue was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing outdoor patio and beautiful surroundings.

    When my husband and I began to look for venues we felt extremely overwhelmed with pricing and locations. Since we knew we wanted to get married at Padre Serra Catholic Church in Camarillo we decided to look for venues closet to the church. We originally had a scheduled appointment with a coordinator at Sterling Hills, although we happened to stumble across Saticoy Country Club through Yelp in which Alex Galaviz made it obvious that this was the place to have our dream wedding celebration. Once Alex gave us a tour of the facility and gave us detailed information of the venue setup for weddings, it seemed like the price was not a factor at the point. However, it was since we had a budget to comply with. Alex gave us a quote on the exact services we wanted and it fit our budget. Alex was very flexible, honest, courteous, and trustworthy. Not only was he our event coordinator but he became a friend.

    Saticoy surpassed all of our expectations from as minimal as lighting detail, to table arrangements, staffing communication, patio decor, food quality and overall presentation.

    If you want an affordable and elegant wedding this is the place to be! The view is a plus!

    Alex was simply wonderful to work with, made things so much easier for us, we didn't have to worry about much, any concerns or questions he was on it right away.

    It was a perfect wedding day. From beginning to end. Alex was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. The venue was gorgeous. Guests enjoyed it so much. Guests continue talking about the great service and the delicious Salmon! We booked Bouquet Sounds after being recommended by Alex. Perfect choice, DJ knew venue and offered lighting packages too. Just perfect. Worth every penny spend...and compared to other similar venues...such a great deal!

    I realize it has been some time since my event and yet I still have wanted to make it known how fabulous Alex and the staff was at Saticoy country Club. I work full time and went straight into the holiday season and yet, I still get comments on how fabulous the event was. Everyone could not have been more impressed...I cannot say enough about Alex...this is not the first event I have done with Alex (and will certainly not be the last)...He is always a "5" on the above categories!

    This venue was perfect and great for our wedding. The view was nice and the food was delicious. The staff was really helpful and provided the best service. Two thumbs up for Alex Galaviz for all his great service. Thank you for making our wedding perfect.

    The venue was amazing from the first day we contacted them. They were extremely nice and professional. The food was amazing, the service was great and when the venue was decorated for the wedding it looked amazing with a beautiful view. The value was really good compared to any country club in the county. Anything we would have wanted they would have got it done for us, because of Alex and his staff our wedding was a 10 out of 10. Without a doubt we would highly recommend this venue to everyone.

    The staff and Director did everything possible to make this a wonderful day. The did an excellent job with our requests.
