Sara was absolutely amazing! She crafted a ceremony that was not only heartfelt and beautifully detailed but also felt incredibly personal. Best officiant ever!!

Mrs. Sara did a stupendous job officiating our wedding. She went above and beyond to make our special day exceptionally special. If you're looking for someone to actually put on a ceremony for your day then Saramonies is your go to. She isn't your typical 5 minute ceremony. She's very descriptive and expressive in sharing your story with all of your loved ones. Her professionalism far exceeded what was expected. She was open to all and any suggestions and also recommended great ideals that made our day even more astounding. She is efficient, skillful, and passionate about what she does. Sara was amazing!!!

We used Sara for our October wedding and she did an amazing job. She does not do a generic, heard a million times ceremony. Sara's ceremony is truly a work of art. It does take a little time on the part of the couple, however it is so worth it. You answer questions about your relationship, yourself, and your partner and she curates a ceremony just for the two of you. She truly did an amazing job and we absolutely loved what she wrote for us. We would recommend her to anyone getting married. She is very responsive as well and extremely professional.

The BEST officiant!

There are no words to describe how amazing Sara made our wedding day. When my husband and I first got engaged, we really wanted a friend or family member to officiate our wedding to make it feel more personal and sentimental. After having a hard time deciding who to ask, we decided to look into hiring an officiant. I was very hesitant with this because I didn’t want a ceremony that was just copied and pasted from other weddings or that didn’t feel tailored to us…then our wedding planner recommended Sara. After our first phone call, we immediately felt so comfortable and confident that Sara was meant to marry us. And let me tell ya, she did not disappoint! She made our ceremony so so special and did such a beautiful job telling our love story. It was so good that people thought she was related to us because it was just so thoughtful and detailed with stories she included about our relationship, families, and friends. I think it is so important to highlight that Sara is also such an amazing human being. She is such a light and truly cares about all her couples. This is more than a job to her and she understands how important your wedding day is to you and your partner. She goes above and beyond giving a beautiful ceremony. She checks in on you, gives the best advice for your wedding day, and genuinely roots for you. The words she said during our ceremony will forever be my favorite part of our wedding day. There are many things you will look back on after your wedding is over and think “hmm maybe I should have done XYZ differently”, but I promise you having Sara as your officiant will not be one!

So amazing!

Sara was nothing short of amazing! She came highly recommended to us and we couldn’t imagined anyone better to officiate our wedding than her! When we first met Sara, she told us how each of her ceremonies were personalized to the couple, that she creates a story for the couple and the guests. But she also has fun with it and that’s exactly what she gives. She gave us both homework to do, with questions asking about our lives, our personalities, hobbies, what we want in life and for a partner. She then took those answers and made something magical. A ceremony to remember that had everyone engaged, laughing, and in tears. Sara also helped us with our vows! We were both stumped at some point or another and she directed each of us in the right direction! Sara is so kind and dependable and she is one of the best officiants in town. We love Sara!

We loved working with Sara and were thrilled with the ceremony she crafted for us! She created a beautiful, personalized ceremony that really encapsulated my husband and I’s love for each other as well as our hopes for our marriage. She took the time to fully understand our personal values and family traditions, and she was respectful and thoughtful in weaving those into the ceremony. The surveys she sends to her couples are very in-depth (it’s how she can create such a personal ceremony), and while they take a lot of time, I actually felt like they were a great introspection exercise leading up to our wedding and made me even more excited to get married.

When Sara first came recommended to us, we heard that her ceremonies tend to be most guests’ and couples' favorite parts of a wedding day, and we can now say that was 100% our experience. We could not recommend her more!

She was incredible

Sara really made the ceremony more perfect than we could’ve ever imagined. Amazing Ceremony!

Sara Michaels did our ceremony for our wedding this spring and it was simply amazing. Without a doubt, she knocked it out of the park and set the joyful tone for our wedding and the unforgettable celebration at the reception that follows. Sara puts a lot of work into these custom ceremonies and used a series of questions we had to complete together and an even longer series of questions we had to complete apart. This was actually fun, and we ended with many surprises and laughs. She can make it as serious or as whimsical, religious or non religious as you want. Magical and Catered to Perfection

We are so thankful for Sara coming down and being the officiant of our wedding. She was very thorough and thoughtful in the weeks leading up to our wedding. She always stayed in contact and making sure that she has everything she needs.

I remember when she first sent the list of questions she wanted answered to get to know us better and I remember it taking both of us quite a while especially my husband Zach. After we both got it done, we both agreed that was worth the effort and the time I needed to make sure that we answer each individual question to our best of our abilities and put our hearts and feelings into it. Sarah picked up on how sincere and heartfelt we answered those those questions so, she used the questions we gave her as part of the wedding when she married us. We also had her read us our vows, because we both knew that we were going to tear up and become a crying mess if we did ourselves really nailed it on the head. We both teared up throughout the whole ceremony. We knew that she was very passionate and talented with her words.

Before the wedding she met with both of us to go over what she was going to do and the ceremony to make sure that we know when to walk out, when she was going to move for pictures in order to make sure that photographers got all the wonderful pictures that we wanted. She gave us words of wisdom, saying that the wife typically stressed up until the wedding day. Then the husband gets stressed out during the ceremony and will usually jump the gun and saying “I do” because she seen so many husbands who forget when the proper queue for “I do” is supposed to go. She also sends a written copy of your whole ceremony on your first anniversary which is perfect! She was super fast on getting our marriage certificate over to the judge as well.

In the end, Sarah is extremely passionate, kind, thoughtful, funny and we are honored for her to perform our ceremony, and we would recommend anyone else to do the same. If we were to get our vows renewed, we will most definitely be going to her again. She also sends a written copy of your whole ceremony on your first anniversary which is perfect! We love you Sara! There will never be enough thank you’s that we can give to you!

Saramonies provided a one-of-a-kind wedding that our guests will never forget!

As a wedding professional, I have seen countless weddings and when it was time to plan my own, I knew that I needed Sara as our officiant. She was actually the very first vendor I secured (3 days after we chose our date). Luckily, she travels for her weddings and was more than happy to come to us in Nashville.

Leading up to the wedding, I spoke very highly of her to all the guests (or anyone who would listen) about how amazing her work is. However, regardless of all of the events I’ve attended, she somehow still exceeded my expectations. Sara's ability to get to know each couple on a deeper level, highlight the beautiful aspects of their relationship, and then curate a unique experience that ensures no two ceremonies are alike….it is beyond special.

Ceremonial Bliss

Sara wrote an unique ceremony which shared our love story with family and friends. She was responsive, supportive and truly engaged in our whole wedding experience. Guests commented on how they were surprised over the ceremony as they expected the "standard" ceremony. Many people commented on how our love story brought tears and laughter. The best choice we could have made!

Sara traveled from Tallahassee to Jacksonville for our wedding in June and it was 100% worth it. My husband and I had pretty high expectations of what we wanted from our officiant and Sara checked every single box. She was very professional, friendly, funny, and accommodating. Most of all, she gave us the most personalized ceremony speech that we could have ever asked for. Best vendor choice ever!

Sara was incredible to work with from day one. We met her during the pandemic and she asked tons of personalized questions over email. I had absolutely no idea what my partners answers were and that made the ceremony so sweet, personalized and surprising. Everyone was crying and laughing during the ceremony and it was probably the most memorable part of our wedding. Sara was also flexible when we had to delay the wedding due to covid concerns. Amazing and magical

Sara is incredible. I would not hire anyone else. She asks you questions about your love story like how you first met, what you love about each other, etc and then from there she will craft the ceremony and write out your gorgeous love story. Officiating Extraordinaire!

I called officiants in my area and all of them were “pick one of my ceremony templates to present.” No questions, no personalization, nothing. As soon as I spoke to Sara, fireworks went off and I knew she was the perfect match. Her creative writing background and process is so unique and different, which allowed for endless opportunities for a very intimate and personalized ceremony. Throughout the whole planning process, she made it so easy and welcoming to communicate everything I wanted to incorporate, and she always gave her professional input on how we could do so or improve upon my ideas.
We had a unique situation where Sara was booked on our wedding day, but that did not stop her in providing alternative options. Her sister was sent in her absence and, my goodness, she was just as professional, helpful, kind and warm. When the day came it was insane to think that someone, who we had never met and only communicated by phone and email, could truly capture us and our relationship so perfectly. Our friends and family came up to us afterwards saying that it was the most special and loving ceremony they have ever been to. Not to mention the amount of grown men that later came up and said that her words had them crying too! After explaining her process, they loved the idea that what we were hearing for the first time included them so intimately as well.
The ceremony was perfect and was an absolute highlight of the evening for us and I think everyone else too. If it wasn’t for her hard work, time, creativity, life and love she put into it, it would have been any other boring ol’ ceremony. It was so heartfelt, emotional, and funny while making it exceptionally “us.” She was everything my husband and I had hoped for in our officiant because she gets what couples want - a tailor ceremony just for you and your husband.

My Wife and I got married in November of 2021. We had a little over a year to plan the wedding and when it came time to picking an officiant we found Sara and set up a meeting. After meeting with her one time we knew immediately that she was the one that was going to marry us on our special day. She emailed a couple of lists to fill out to get to know us as a couple and individually, that’s what she does after all is make the ceremony a personalized story that everyone enjoys. It was so amazing to have a ceremony that was so personal and told our love story to everyone who might not have known. Perfection

Sara was amazing from the very beginning. My wife and I had some specific things that we wanted included in the ceremony, including hand fasting and Viking vows, and Sara accommodated us without a second thought and provided additional readings that made everything flow so beautifully. For those unsure about the process, Sara will meet with you initially to get to know you and start getting some ideas about what vibe the ceremony will have. Then she is amazing about maintaining email and phone contact. Our families are still talking about how amazing the ceremony was... Don't hesitate, and have someone recording because there will be belly laughs and some sweet tears!

Amazing Officiant!

Going into our wedding planning, we had no idea who would officiate it and how our wedding day would look. Luckily, Sara's name kept coming up from multiple people, including my mother, and we knew we had to reach out to her.

From our initial conversation over the phone, we both were overjoyed just visualizing her suggestions for our ceremony. We loved the idea of incorporating our love story, having a communal moment of support for our marriage with our loved ones, and giving our family a special moment of well wishes during our ceremony.

She tailored the ceremony to everything we wanted and gave us great inputs to make it more special than what we initially envisioned. She is responsive, accommodating, and a joy to work with. Our family and friends raved about how amazing she was, and we had four separate people come up to us asking how we found her.

Not only was Sara extremely helpful through navigating our wedding during a pandemic, but she was also a HUGE help after the wedding too by supporting us during our reception and letting us know of things to keep in mind to ensure everything ran smoothly. She was also quick to organize and deliver our marriage certificate in person soon after the ceremony.

We knew we were getting an amazing officiant with a creative writing background. However, we got that and so much more. She is warm, friendly, funny, and brought so much life to our little party. We love Sara and highly recommend her special touches for making your day beyond what you hoped for.

Ceremony of your dreams!

Sara's ceremony MADE THE DAY! I mean it is obviously what the whole day is about in the first place, but our ceremony was SO perfect and it truly was my favorite part -- which is exactly what it should be! I feel like others may not have that good fortune when they have a cookie-cutter ceremony...But Sara is anything BUT cookie-cutter!! It was tailored to us as individuals and as a couple and was nothing short of amazing. Saved My Wedding During COVID-19!

We had planned a church wedding with my cousin conducting the ceremony. Two months before our big day, the pandemic forced us to cancel all the plans and prevented any family or friends from attending, including my cousin! Sara came highly recommended to us and she agreed to help us on short notice. You'd never know she had little more than a couple of weeks to get to know us. Through her personable questionnaires and e-mails, she crafted a ceremony that brought life and joy to a three person wedding. Incredibly Amazing!

I so enjoyed having Sara officiate my wedding. I had every single guest tell me how much they enjoyed it and how unique it was. People told me they cried more at my wedding then they did at their own children’s weddings! She truly changed my life. Saramonies saves the day!

Sara crafted the weirdest, absolutely perfect ceremony for my now husband and me. We're super nontraditional, so the thought of a traditional ceremony just felt really uncomfortable for us. A ceremony that was uniquely ours

Sara was amazing. The way she captures information about her couples and writes a completely unique ceremony is perfect. Guests were raving about our ceremony for days after the wedding. I knew from the very beginning of my wedding planning process that I wanted a unique and unforgettable wedding. Everyone always thinks about the dress or the food and it seemed that the ceremony was the same rushed five minute speech and then it was on to the party. Best day ever

Sara Michaels was an outstanding officiant. She did our best friends wedding we just knew that we wanted her to marry us! We met with her and just talked for hours and we knew she was the one! A few months before the wedding my husband and I were asked to do a questionnaire together and then a few months later we did one separately. That was it. Sara is fabulous! She is a true professional and was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. She made planning fun and stress-free. She has a series of questionnaires to help guide you through the planning process and she really gets to know you as a couple and gets a good idea of what you do (and don't) want. She also included my 14 year-old daughter in the planning process (she got to fill out a secret questionnaire) and Sara made sure to include a special part in our ceremony to recognize that my daughter was an important part of our marriage as we became a new family.

Sara crafted a perfectly geeky ceremony that was completely us. My hubby and I keep commenting on how perfect our ceremony was...we think it was the best wedding ever.

So many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Many commented on the joyful energy of the ceremony, and many appreciated the touches of humor that Sara wove into the ceremony.

Unique, amazing, wonderful

My fiancé and I unexpectedly had to move up our wedding a year due to family illness, and found ourselves having to plan an entire wedding in a week. Enter Sara. Amazing officiant!

I’m BEYOND excited that I happened to find Sara and that we were able to hire her as our wedding officiant! From day one, I said that I wanted to have a memorable ceremony! I didn’t want to have one that everyone dreads nor that lasted 5 min and was over. After all, people come to your wedding to watch you get married and that happens at the ceremony! Sara took the time to get to know both Tyler and I on a personal level, and over many months. The questionnaires were fun to fill out and taught us things about each other we never even knew! From those questionnaires, she put together a beautiful ceremony that included sooo many important and intricate details in our ceremony that we will forever cherish. Unforgettable

The first time I met Sara, I was having a full-blown panic attack on the steps of our wedding venue as our rehearsal was supposed to begin. My (now) husband and I live in NE Ohio, but had planned our wedding in Tallahassee. The week before our wedding, Hurricane Michael hit the news. In the days leading up to the wedding, we flew to Tallahassee ahead of the hurricane, waited out its destruction, found new accommodations for guests, and changed our venue due to power outages. By our rehearsal time, my husband and I were burned out. Enter Sara. She greeted my hot-mess self, reminded me that we were getting MARRIED the next day, and that the very best thing I could do was say "yes" at the alter. The next day, Sara delivered the most unforgettable, personal ceremony. Everyone laughed, everyone cried. She created a ceremony that made all the sweat and tears of the previous few days worth it. We are so grateful to her.

Before all that, Sara and I exchanged many, many emails. She took such care getting to know me and my husband through her questionnaires, responding with questions and reactions that helped garner ideas for our ceremony. Sara probably knows me and my husband as well as our closest friends! Hiring her for our ceremony was one of the best decisions we made throughout our planning process; we are forever grateful to her for helping us begin our family together!

"I normally sleep during weddings but your officiant was so funny. It was the best wedding I have ever been to." -- Literal quote from one of my guests after the wedding. And I STILL get comments like this a year later when my wedding gets brought up. Sara is not only the best... but the best of the best! She is the nicest person you will ever meet and puts her heart into every ceremony. I could not recommend her enough. She is very detailed in interviewing her couples. In just a short period of time, Sara became like family to my husband and myself. Our ceremony was filled with laughter and joy which is exactly the ceremony for us. She listened to all of our concerns for what we did not want and what we absolutely had to have. Even with a family death days before the wedding, Sara was flexible enough to wiggly things around to accommodate a small memorial in the ceremony. The ceremony is the heart of a wedding. It is where THE reason for two people's love is exhibited for the most important people in their lives to experience the feeling they have for each other. Sara portrayed our love in a way that was only unique to us. She did not read a cookie cutter outline that follows the typical ritual. Over months she communicated with us, learning so much about us as individuals and as a couple. The questions she asked us to answer together and individually were so thought provoking and made me think about myself, my (now) husband, and our relationship in some ways that I never have before... but that I am glad that I did because it was so nice to really think deep and be excited and happy about all the great thoughts about love and a marriage.
She made the ceremony so beautiful. She took thoughts and words from two people and wove it together to make something magical. There were tears and laughs, the complete perfect combination for the PERFECT ceremony.
It wasn't all business with Sara, my husband and I both truly felt she wanted to get to know us as people. Her response was almost instantaneous, it was almost like I had a good friend that if I needed in the middle of the night she would be there. She is a person you want to have as a friend forever.
I would a thousand times over recommend Sara. The price for the most honest moment of your wedding should not be a concern, but if it is, skimp on the extra centerpiece or wooden signs, at the end of it all they do not mean half as much as the memories you, your spouse, and all your family and friends will have about you saying 'I Do'.

I really need more stars for this rating, because Sara is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Our wedding was almost three months ago and I was just looking back through our correspondence as she helped us to plan the ceremony. From the very beginning, Sara was so helpful and did everything to make our ceremony memorable, unique and beautiful. I think that in the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, a lot of effort goes into planning the details of the reception. What I experienced is that your ceremony is the truly special and magical part - that's the whole reason everyone is there to celebrate in the first place. I really cannot count how many of our guests told us afterward that they felt that they knew us both even better and so many people asked, "Who was your officiant? She was fantastic!" I couldn't agree more: Sara is the best!

Even though I have been to many weddings (I am one of the last of my group of friends to be married), I quickly learned that trying to plan my own ceremony was really difficult. If I had not had the help of Sara, so many of the details that made our ceremony special would not have happened because I simply would not have thought about them or have known how to incorporate them. Sara knows how to make your ideas work, and she gives you fresh ideas on things you can add to the ceremony that truly set it apart from the usual. O. M. G. Sara is so incredibly FABULOUS - words cannot even describe! She is an absolute doll and what she does is true magic! Honestly, when my husband and I look back on our day - the ceremony that Sara thoughtfully and carefully crafted for us is the first thing to pop into our heads! We still have family and friends telling us that it was the best ceremony EVER! It was unique, fun and just so memorable. Take the time and be patient with process that Sara guides you through. We really found that it forced us to think about why we were getting married and what it means to us as couple as well as an individual. It is SO easy to get caught up in the logistics and hectic dynamics that a wedding can bring – like making sure pink petals (NOT RED) line the aisle or that Grandma Betsy wears her champagne pink dress and sits at least two seats away from Uncle Bernie. We forget why we are doing what you are doing. Sara has the gift to remind you of what truly matters - It was unbelievable.

P.S. I would highly recommend booking a videographer if you have Sara officiate your wedding. We did not and we so wish we had (it wasn't in the budget for us) but if you can squeeze it - I bet it would be worth it to have the video to look back at all the moments that made you laugh and cry tears of joy!

If you are looking for an officiant....no matter what circumstance.....I recommend you call SARA. As it is easy to get caught up in the wedding planning, keep in mind what truly matters....After your wedding and as time goes by, its not the tablecloths, the chairs, the flowers, the food, etc. that you will think about and remember.... its the way you felt, the fact that you married your best friend, and the vows you made to one another. Our ceremony was perfect and we owe it to Sara for telling our love story in such a thoughtful way, with a little humor and a lot of love. She has an amazing gift and a way of taking your thoughts, stories, and favorite memories and making it into a beautiful love story. For me, this was the number one "vendor" that I just had to have. I cannot wait to see our wedding video so I can relive it over and over. The entire process of filling out the questions, planning, and then listening to Sara on our wedding day made me fall more in love with my husband everyday as we relived the memories, talked about our future, and made promises and vows that were written about us and for us, not printed from the internet. Sara is so kind, loveable, and has such a pure heart. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to have her officiate our wedding and know her as a person. THANK YOU SARA!!!

I can't even imagine our wedding day without Sara! I found Sara's business card on my desk at work one day and it was the greatest surprise to find her. Sara was more than happy to drive from Florida to South Caroline to unite my Husband and I. Before the ceremony she sent several questions, at first to both Justin and I to answer together, then questions for us to answer on our own. The questions may make you think at first and you may be questioning how she uses the answers you provide - but I promise she is only using the answers to get to know you better. Sara personalized our ceremony and told OUR love story. She went slow enough to let you take in the moment and truly absorb the words she was saying....We had a lot of laughter and tears. It was the greatest experience I could have asked for. Sara - Justin & I couldn't begin to thank you enough for your most valuable words for us and our daughter!

I don't even know if I can type this without getting emotional...Sara is one of the most incredible people my husband and I have ever met. The first time we met her we knew that she HAD to be the one to marry us! During the process she sent us questionnaires to get to know more about us. They were so fun! Sara took our answers and somehow created the most beautiful ceremony we could have ever hoped for. It was so personalized and made the ceremony so meaningful. Our guests still talk about how much they loved it! Sara not only gave us an amazing ceremony, but she was also a friend through the entire planning experience. When you work with her you will have so much fun planning an unforgettable event!

Saramonies was referred to me by a friend/ coworker who got married in April 2015. We weren't sure how to find an officiant, so I asked my friend who he'd had as his. And boy let me tell you -- Sara is one of a kind. If you truly want a ceremony that is purely you and your fiance(e), you absolutely must get Saramonies to officiate. Sara is not only a wonderfully friendly woman, she has a gift for this.

My husband and I got married on 3/11/17. Our original date was supposed to be 10/15/16 and Sara was more than happy to work with us on that. Originally she had another wedding scheduled on 3/11 in the evening and was willing to do ours earlier in the day (though it worked out in the end for us because the other wedding got rescheduled).

Sara also went through rehearsals with us and made sure that everyone knew exactly where they were supposed to be and what they were supposed to do, my husband and I included.

The ceremony itself was incredible. I have never heard anything so resembling my husband and I, from our values to our characters to our love for one another. Everything was perfect. I could not have asked for a better wedding.

Book Saramonies as your officiant! You cannot find a better person to take care of you on your wedding day.

Where do I even begin?!... Hiring Sara was hands down the best decision that we made during the wedding planning process. In the beginning, while going around town picking vendors, everyone was asking who our officiant was. We hadn't decided or looked into that yet but every single person told us to use Saramonies. After hearing nothing but praise from other wedding vendors we did a little more research online. What vendor, or any business for that matter, has 5 star ratings across the board?! I have never seen that before and knew it had to be too good to be true. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Sara spent so much time getting to know us in the months before the wedding. We only met once before the rehearsal but emailed numerous times throughout the process. She was always there for advice or a quick question whenever needed. The questions sent were great and incorporated beautifully into the ceremony. All of the guest's compliments afterwards we about how perfect and well done it was. I couldn't have asked for anything more personalized or catered to the two of us.

She was by far the most memorable part of our special day. Words cannot describe how happy we are that we made the decision to go with Sara. She is now a part of our family and we are forever grateful for the difference she made on our wedding day. We love you!

Sara did such an AMAZING job with our ceremony! Somehow she created a touching, heartfelt, humorous, family oriented ceremony that was just perfect for us and left not a dry eye to those watching! My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago with Sara presiding over our ceremony and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We wanted a personal, non-religious ceremony and when we heard about Sara through the grapevine we reached out to set up a meeting. Make no mistake, Sara is an absolute professional and it's obvious from the first time you meet her that she loves what she does and pours a lot of time and thought into personalizing your ceremony and telling your story. She takes the time to get to know you through surveys and also weave in your traditions or requests as best she can. The result is a ceremony that you hear for the first time on your wedding day that makes you and your guests laugh and cry but ultimately better understand who you and your spouse are and why you're getting married. Sara Michaels is an extraordinary woman who does everything she possibly can to make your wedding day as perfect as you'd like. I found Sara through wedding wire and I watched some of her videos on facebook and immediately knew that I had to have her as the officiant for my wedding. She worked with me on the price, and allowed me to pay in installments and any time I emailed her, I got a response back within 24 hours. She is so kind in her emails and in person. The "saramonie" she gave on my wedding had everyone in the perfect amount of tears and laughs. 10/10, I would recommend her to anyone.

Our wedding was in November of 2015. I promise I'm not disorganized; I did not forget to review Sara Michaels for almost 7 months- there is a method to my madness. Let me explain... I knew that Sara was going to be amazing the minute we first spoke via email, but she literally shined on the day we got married. Sara perfectly captured our love for each other in her eloquent words. There was not a single guest at our wedding who didn't come up to us at the reception and tell us how personal and moving our ceremony was. I think Chris and I both knew she nailed us- we could feel it- but there was one problem: neither of us could remember everything she talked about! (No judging! It will happen to every single one of you reading this! Two words: Krishna Singh!) Of course our wedding day was perfect, but in all the excitement of promising to spend forever with each other, we were left with flashes of memories of our ceremony. So I purposely waited to write this review. I knew Sara was a rare find and that we were lucky to have her officiate our ceremony, but it was important to me to do her justice when reviewing her... so I waited until our wedding video was complete and my husband and I were able to re-live our ceremony. There are literally not enough compliments in the world to explain Sara Michaels. She was engaging, sweet, romantic, funny, spiritual, compassionate, and understanding. She left every single one of our guests with a complete picture of our relationship. We will be eternally grateful for Sara. I couldn't imagine anyone else marrying us. Simply put: having Sara officiate your ceremony will be the best thing you you ever do.

There are no words for how incredible Sara is! Most people get compliments on the food or the DJ or the flowers at their wedding (and we had some pretty amazing vendors) – but all of our guests were absolutely raving about our ceremony. When I first met Sara, she said she felt that people shouldn’t space out during your ceremony because it’s the same boring thing they hear at every wedding – your guests should laugh, cry, and leave knowing something about you that they didn’t know before. We laughed, we cried, and we ended up with a totally unique ceremony that was so US it was unbelievable – nobody could believe that she wasn’t related to us! I don’t know how she does it, but it is so clear how passionate Sara is about what she does, and she absolutely shines in your ceremony. She is more than an officiant, she has become a wonderful friend and we are so honored to have had her marry us. If you have a “Saramony”, you will never forget it!

Ahhh... Sara! There is no one else quite like her! When I first learned about Sara, it was from a wedding video that was created by Unique Video Creations. I kept asking myself, "Who is THAT woman?" Right away, I knew that I HAD to have her at my wedding! She is so passionate about what she does. I had only briefly met Sara at a friend's wedding prior to our rehearsal dinner; however, I felt like I had known her an entire lifetime. She is just a very lovable person! She always made my heart smile when I was having a bad day! Even after my husband had communicated through e-mail with her, he came to me and said, "I really love Sara!" I said, "Me to!" I don't even know if there are enough adjectives in this world to describe her. She is unique, creative, attentive, detailed, caring, genuine, honest, calm, funny... I could go on and on! Sara took the answers from our questionnaires and created a beautiful story about my husband and me. It was a story about fishing...the thing that we love to do together. It was so unique! So perfect! So us! I loved that we had no clue what she was going to say on our wedding day until that moment! That was incredible! Such suspense! A month and a half later, I still have people asking about Sara and saying how they enjoyed our ceremony! People even commented several times, "that was the most touching ceremony," "it was perfect," and "can I call you when my daughter gets married to get the officiant's information?" In our eyes, it was perfect! From the time that I first contacted Sara, she communicated weekly with me...sometimes even numerous times a week. I really appreciated that! If I could do my wedding all over again, I can promise you that Sara would be the first person that I would reserve! If she wasn't available, then I would plan my wedding date around her. When I first saw a video of Sara doing a wedding online, I immediately emailed her to see if she was available to do our wedding. I got chills watching a wedding that was not even my own. Sarah will create a ceremony that is uniquely you. She shares your love story in the most eloquent way and then personalized your vows to you as a couple. Sara is excellent at communication and truly takes the time to get to know you. The whole experience is very special, I could cry tears of joy just thinking about it. Wow...When you have people come up to you weeks after your wedding and tell you how amazing your officiant was at the ceremony and how memorable/special it was, that says plenty about Sara Michaels. Sara is an incredibly passionate and caring woman who loves to bring out the good in others. She focuses on the most beautiful and special parts of people's lives and presents it in a way that no one will ever forget! Every time I hear her words in our wedding teaser video, my eyes (and my husband's eyes!) well up with tears because it truly is THAT beautiful. After one phone conversation with Sara, I felt as if I was talking with a friend. The quick connection, and her ability to "really get" who we were and what we wanted our ceremony to look like, sound like and what was most important to us. She put us at ease because the natural connection was so reassuring. My husband and I had watched several videos of previous ceremonies, and we loved the uniqueness of each, and the energy she brought to each one. Sara stayed in touch with us throughout the process, she encouraged us when other details were unravelling. (photographer becoming septic and admitted to hospital, days before wedding).
Our guests, also mentioned repeatedly, that they had never been to such a beautifully unique ceremony that represented the couple and who they really are.
Mav and I were so completely delighted with our ceremony, and we both recognize that had we not had Sara, our day would not have been as special.

Sara was absolutely amazing to work with! We had a blast getting to know her from our first meeting and couldn't be happier with how our ceremony turned out. I don't even know where to begin. Sara did everything everyone said in the reviews, and more. Her personality is larger than the state of Texas but her heart is even bigger than that. THE number one comment we got was about how amazing our ceremony was. We trusted Sara to pick all of our readings, write our vows, and most importantly, to marry us and that is a decision we will never regret and will cherish for life. I especially loved when I told the rest of my vendors who our officiant was, they ALL got excited because they ALL stated how much they love listening to Sara's ceremonies. Sara made our wedding day absolutely PERFECT! In the months leading up to it, she sent her questionnaires to get to know each of us. The questions asked about our relationship, ideas, experiences, what we wanted for our wedding, in life, etc. A few weeks before the wedding, my husband and I met her for lunch. She and I had constant contact for about a year before the wedding. So, when we sat down for lunch, it felt like we were just having lunch with Aunt Sara! After our experience with her, I feel like she's a member of our family, too. Sara really worked hard to make our ceremony perfect and something that we will never forget. And she did just that! Lots of tears and laughter. I still have people telling me, even weeks after our wedding, that our ceremony was one of the best they've ever seen! Sara really is #1 at her game. Her use of words, the way she worked everything in...it was great. It was so much about me and my husband and so NOT the streamline "we are gathered here today" ceremony! Sara is more than an officiant - She is our sister, mother, friend & mentor. These are just a few of the hats Sara wears when getting to know you. You inherit a family member after meeting & working with her. It's been almost a year since we've been married & people still say it was the best ceremony they've ever witnessed. We can’t give enough praise to Sara!! My wife and I had a unique situation, as we were lucky enough to meet Sara before getting engaged. Sara performed the ceremony for a friend of ours in Florida, and we got to see her in action. I’ve been to a lot of weddings, and more times than not the ceremony is simply a forgettable portion of the wedding day (for guests). This was not the case with Sara. We were blown away at how personal she was, and at the level of sincerity, emotion and even humor. This was anything BUT a forgettable ceremony.

About six months later my wife and I were engaged, and we started wedding planning. While almost everything was up for debate, one thing absolutely wasn’t: our officiant. We knew right away we had to get Sara for our own ceremony. We flew her out to San Francisco, and it was one of the best decisions we made. While I’m probably a little biased, I thought the ceremony she did for us was even better than the first time we saw her. It was warm, funny, and above all personal. She was so good she had my wife and I both choking up at the altar. And out of everything we did for the wedding, she was the one part of the day we received the most compliments. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it!

Needless to say, we can’t recommend Sara highly enough. She doesn’t even feel like someone we hired anymore. She’s now a friend.

If you need a speaker for ANY event, Sara is the woman you need! I will say at first, I thought that I had wanted a simple ceremony with the everyday "I do's" but after meeting Sara at a wedding expo, I could not have imagined our wedding day without her! Sara really gets to know her couples so every ceremony is unique to you as a couple. I could go into the details of her process but that would just ruin the surprise and fun of it :) I will say that within our ceremony, there were tears, laughter, love (you could just feel it in the room), unity, happiness; I could go on... Everyone who attended the wedding said that it was the best ceremony they had ever been involved in! Sara is with you throughout the entire process and will also help in pretty much any aspect of the wedding process in general. In the end, you feel as though Sara is apart of your family (and really, she is) and you have known her for years!

The first thing to be said about what Sara provides in her ceremonies is that it is much more then what you could ever imagine. Picture your perfect ceremony, and then be prepared for it to be 100 times more perfect! There is something really special about Sara and what she does. I really do not know what I would have done without her many times throughout the process of wedding planning. I do not want to spoil any surprises, but Sara's special process is something that I think every bride should have the opportunity to do. Sara put together a 'Saramonie' for us that was so incredibly beautiful and beyond perfect, however, her presence throughout the process was the real treasure for me. If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding stop here! Every marriage should be born through the beauty in Sara's Saramonies.

Sara is a great officiant who really cares about the two of you. She will have two set of questions to get a full understanding of the two. We've enjoyed working with her and she presented a personalized and warm wedding ceremony for us. She is also very flexible on what we prefer in regards of ceremony style, vows, and time. Highly recommend her for couples that want to have a true friend to be involved in your big day and to marry you two.

I do not even know where to start... Sara is AMAZING!! She was the officiant for our Wedding 11.07.15 and it was ABSOLUTELY perfect! After the wedding we had so many people coming up to us asking where we found her and how amazing our wedding was because of Sara. I would recommend Sara to everyone! I feel like Sara is apart of our family now and I feel like I could call her for anything!

Sara was amazing. She created a ceremony that was 100% ours and could not have applied to any other couple. She told OUR story. She made us (and everyone) laugh, she pulled at our heart strings (but not too much), and she really listened to what we said (or wrote to her) and made something that was so wonderful. So many guests have come to me since the ceremony to tell me how great she was. Personally, my favorite part was that it was a surprise. I have heard from many couples that the ceremony is a blur and they barely remember anything. For us, we remember so much because we really had to listen during the ceremony since we hadn't heard it before. But the great thing about Sara is that she wants you to be comfortable. So if you needed to know more about the ceremony before-hand (if a surprise just totally freaks you out), she would share some of it with you. You can tell she really cares about every couple she meets and I am so glad I found her. On that note, I'd like to also give a shout out to Diane from Sweet Tea Tallahassee Events and Marketing - she's the reason I found Sara and Saramonies!

I cannot say enough about Saramonies. It was absolutely amazing and everything I wanted it to be. She has a wonderful way with words and puts together the most personal, beautiful ceremony. So many people commented on how it was one of the most uniquely beautiful ceremonies they had ever attended. Thank you so much Sara!!!!!

Sara made our wedding experience truly special. Not only did she take the time to get to know my husband and I, but she also stayed in contact with me throughout the entire wedding planning process. Sara became family in the time that I knew her and I am so grateful that we found her. Everyone was incredibly impressed by the ceremony that she created for us and I have had several friends come to me to ask how they can get in touch with her. I would recommend Sara to everyone. I can not thank her enough for all of the wonderful personal touches that she added to our ceremony. From a miniature suitcase that represented our engagement to bringing me my favorite starbucks drink to calm my nerves, I can't thank her enough for making our ceremony the best day of my life! I can honestly say that Sara and I gained a friendship over the last several months. She was not just our Officiant, but a mentor who guided us along the road leading up to marriage. She gave us advice, made us laugh, and reminded me of what's most important in this union. I'm sure most of the reviews you will read will tell you how incredible Sara was during the ceremony, and she most certainly was. Our ceremony was the most touching and sentimental ceremony most, if not all, of our guests have ever witnessed! But, I want to explain how Sara helped the months and days leading up to our big day! Sara and I e-mailed back and forth weekly. I found myself looking out for her e-mails because she would always make me cry or laugh (always in a good way). Then on my Wedding day, it poured rain. We were having an outdoor ceremony and reception and it made me very upset that our "dream wedding" wouldn't happen as planned. Unexpectedly, Sara shows up at my hotel room with a few very good pieces of advice. Sara reminded me that the weather was unimportant. That on this very day, I got to marry my best friend, and that should trump all else. That's the type of person Sara is. Someone who is more concerned about the people. She is a beautiful person, inside and out.
