Sarah-So Sweet and Talented!

I am SO glad that we found Sarah! My husband and I really placed a high priority on not only hiring a talented photographer but someone we could get along with on a personal level and just vibe with. Sarah is so sweet, fun, flexible, and just really set us at ease from the first moment we met. Not to mention, her photography is GORGEOUS and we instantly fell in love with her attention to detail and little touch of moodiness that came through her photos. The day of our wedding, Sarah was EVERYWHERE! She handled all the craziness of both of our families like the pro that she is, and made sure that she was totally on top of the time schedule for light and the order of events of the day. Working with her was effortless, and we can't wait to get all of our wedding photos back! If they are anything like our engagement photos I'm ready to cry all the happy tears and hang them in my home and gift them to family to enjoy for years to come. Any brides looking for a photographer in SoCal, I cannot recommend her enough! THANK YOU Sarah!!!!!

i dont know where to begin with Sarah. out of all my wedding vendors she had to of been my favorite hands down. from our first meeting all the way to our wedding day she was an absolute joy to work with. i had the bright idea to have our engagement photos done at Glamis over 3 hrs away from here and she was GAME! the photos came out beautiful! she is so sweet and so kind, and an AMAZING photographer. do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding! thank you Sarah! Jose and I could never repay you for all that you have done for us by capturing our biggest moment in our lives to date!..p.s. i hope you know i will be contacting you anytime i need a photographer. lol My photographger for LIFE!

We just got our wedding photos back from Sarah and couldn't be happier! She captured every feeling of love, laughter, and excitement. Looking at the photos makes me feel like I am in those moments again! I can't wait to share the photos with our friends and family!

I hired Sarah to do my family photo shoot this year and couldn't be more pleased with the results! First off, she over delivered with the pictures; I was only expecting 20ish pictures and we got so many more and they were beautiful! Secondly, I have two young children that were a bit nuts during the shoot and Sarah was so patient with them, which helped their behavior and my stress level, lol. It is always stressful doing photo shoots with young children, but Sarah handled it perfectly. I would highly recommend her services!

Sarah is so amazing!!!!! My wedding photos were something that were really important for me so it took me some time to find and research photographers. I’m glad this process took some time and that I didn’t just go with the first photographer I came across, because I wouldn’t have found Sarah!

Sarah was affordable and modified her package so that it fit within my budget. She was easy to communicate with and retuned all my calls, texts and emails right away. She was so fun and easy to work with and made my husband and me feel very comfortable. Sarah made my husband (who doesn’t like taking pictures) enjoy taking pictures.

Sarah is incredibly hardworking. The wedding venue we chose was very hilly so she was running up and down hills in and out of bushes to capture every moment and the perfect angle, while everyone else took a golf cart. She even scouted my venue, prior to the day of, to make to get an idea of some good shots. There is not a single photo we don’t like. We seriously want to print them all out!

The only downfall to Sarah shooting our wedding is that I feel like I’m losing a friend now that my wedding is over. We joked about it all day that she was like my best friend because she was always there, capturing every special, beautiful moment. Things I didn’t see on the day of my wedding, she captured.

Thank you Sarah, for making our wedding day so special and capturing pictures. We will cherish and look back on them for the rest of our lives! Xo

I can't say enough about Sarah. She is an absolute dream to work with. I had been searching for a wedding photographer for a while and had met with a few that just weren't quite right. Sarah was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. I sent her an email she she responded right away and then drove out to meet my fiancé and I. Right from the start, I knew she was the one! She put us both as ease, and is so friendly and professional. And she's a huge hockey fan which won my husband over! Her style of photography is so beautiful and truly unique. She did a sunrise engagement session in Palm Springs with us and went to two different locations. On the day of the wedding I was so excited to see her! She felt like a close friend. I was incredible nervous about the day but she put me at ease and captured the day beautifully. We did a first look in a cactus garden in San Diego and then got married in a warehouse space downtown. Sarah was there all day and captured every moment, from walking down the aisle to the last song. I'm so thankful she was there. The day went so fast but to look back on the amazing photos brings me right back. I can't wait to hire Sarah again for other life moments. She is one of the best photographers around! Thank you!

Pros: organized, willing to give us input for the day of, duration of service, captured moments well, easy way of receiving photos, pretty affordable. We were very happy with our decision of choosing Sarah to shoot our wedding. She was with us on almost the entire day from start to finish and captured moments very well. She was very friendly and easy to work with, so she made us feel comfortable with her on our big day. Overall she was fantastic and we would highly recommend!

We loved everything about Sarah and her entire process of photography. Sarah has packages that accommodate everyone, including our engagement photos and the entire wedding day process. We had her and a second shooter for the day and they were on top of all of it considering the day of the wedding it poured almost the whole day and we had to change our photos up.

Sarah is also really personable and gets to know you and your story of love. She helps you feel comfortable on the photo and not dread the moments of trying to look perfect in the photo. She catches you in the moment of a beautiful day! My husband and I are so glad we got her as our photographer!

I contracted Sarah as my photographer after a recommendation from a family friend who had met with her as a potential wedding photographer. I fell in love with her! She has such a unique style and is so great to work with. The photos come out top notch and I really feel life she gets to know you enough to understand the style you want for the photos of your wedding. Living in SoCal, I was worried that I wouldn’t get that winter-y look I wanted but Sarah know how to choose background and does something to the photos that makes it look magical! All my photos came out exactly how I wanted them too!
One on my biggest issues when I was looking for my vendors was the cost for a longer period of time. Sarah’s packages are not priced per hour but per day. You really get her all day when you book her. It’s a huge relief because my wedding ended up going longer than most standard “per hour” packages. She is more than reasonably priced. She offers a lot in even her lowest package!

Sarah is definitely my go to photographer for any future needs! She is the best!

I would recommend Sarah as a photographer to anybody for any occasion over and over again. She made my husband and I feel super comfortable when we were a little nervous to be the complete center of attention on our wedding day and when we were feeling a little awkward to do our engagement photos before that, she instantly made us feel at ease. I absolutely loved the way my photos turned out as well. There were so many gorgeous shots, it was very hard to pick my favorites. Another thing that I rave about to anyone whenever I can, is what was included in her package. For a very reasonable price we received the normal things that come along with a photographer, but we also were able to pick prints to get printed and framed, full day coverage of our event, and a beautiful leather album with some of our favorite shots from throughout the day! And, she also has a few different packages to accommodate almost any budget. On top of all that, she was very professional, fun to work with, and got my album and prints delivered to me very quickly once they arrived because she knew I was so eager to see them!

Sarah was our wedding photographer, and we could not have chosen someone with more talent! Warm and down-to-earth, Sarah’s photography captures the same qualities she embodies. My (now) husband and I were hesitant to do an engagement session, but Sarah met us at our favorite hiking spot and immediately put us at ease. It felt more like spending time with a good friend than being photographed. Because of her demeanor, the photographs came out very natural looking--none of the awkward, "look like you're in love" shots we were hoping to avoid. We barely noticed Sarah taking photos at our wedding, but she captured it brilliantly. The set-up, ceremony, decor and (of course) party were all captured in the beautifully edited photo book she put together that allow us to relive a very memorable event in our lives. We both give her our highest recommendation.

Sarah was the most amazing photographer. Not only were our pictures stunning, but she was such a delight to work with, which is SO important on one's wedding day-- the photographer spends the most time with you and sees you at your most intimate moments! We had some personal things going on which required a lot of last minute adjustments; Sarah was totally flexible and helpful through these times. I was so comfortable with her, it felt like she was a long time girlfriend of mine. The whole day was so fun shooting with her! I'm so happy we chose Sarah for our special day-- she is such a pleasant, warm, fun, and talented photographer!

Sarah is wonderful! A friend of our in the photography business sent us links to about 10 different wedding photographers that she recommended. After looking extensively through all of their portfolio's Sarah's natural poses and artistic style really stood out to us. Not only were her pictures of us every bit as good as those in her portfolio, Sarah is also so easy to work with. She is personal and accommodating and makes the experience enjoyable. Not to mention Sarah has very competitive and reasonable prices. If you are looking for a vendor who is fun, easy going and takes top quality photos Sarah is the photographer for you!

Overall Sarah is a great photographer. I was happy with my wedding photos, as was my husband.

Some things that I wish were a little different were:

1.) I barely have ANY photos of myself (the bride) on my wedding day, in my dress and all. Some photos of me are just awful. However, my husband has a load of him (the 2nd shooter did his photos). Thankfully we suggested that we do more individual photos at one location otherwise we'd literally have maybe 2 or 3.
2.) She didn't give much direction with my husband and I, and family. In fact at one point he 2nd shooter jumped in and gave us direction. I have a handful of photos where my dads suit is bunched up, or my husbands nose is scrunched up. Or my face is a little "bland". She definitely needs to work on providing direction and instruction to clients, as not everyone is photogenic (like ourselves).
3.) You can tell on her Instagram that she favors weddings over other weddings. Which makes your wedding feel like just another day to make money.
4. It took her about 2 months to get us our photos. She did provide a date when ours would be ready and failed to meet the date.
5. Her communication on the album we got in our package was horrible. I had to email her and ask when the album would be ready
and sent to us. She responded back and provided instructions. If I hadn't asked she wouldn't have ever gave us instructions, and we probably would have never received an album.
