The Best!!!
When I tell you I picked my wedding date around Sarahs availability I wouldn't be lying... Sarah is literally the best of the best. She is so easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable. My husband thought taking engagement photos and wedding photos would be weird but right after our engagement shoot he kept saying how great Sarah was and how comfortable he felt the entire time. She some how makes every photo look like magic. And she has the sweetest soul on the planet. I highly recommend!! -

Loved Sarah! We are so happy we chose Sarah to be our wedding photographer. She really took the time to learn our story. She has a gift for capturing the real moments and for making hundreds of photo shots feel like 2. We never had so much fun taking pictures.

Sarah Murray is the best photographer in the wedding world. Hands. Down.
Sarah was the first vendor we booked after we had our venue and each time she posted a wedding on her site or social our excitement grew more and more. She captured our day in a way we didn't even know someone could. When we look at our photos we can see and feel our happiness. We can see the love on our faces. We can feel the energy of the day—our guest's excitement. The over 1500 photos in our gallery bring us right back to each moment. For that, we are forever grateful to Sarah and her artistic eye.
Sarah answered each and every question wedding during our planning process and gave us personalized attention week and month of. We had one big call about 1 month out and then again the week of to confirm the timeline and day of plans. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and Sarah handled my questions and strict timeline with grace.
It rained on our wedding day and Sarah somehow still managed to get gorgeous photos outside, something that was important to us. She is a true visionary and magician, making each and every photo look beautiful. For someone who does not enjoy having her photo taken, Sarah has mastered the art of making you comfortable so you don't even realize you are in front of a camera. You are just enjoying your wedding day! She is both calm and such a joy to have with you all day long, during your most intimate moments.
We received our photos within 2 weeks and a care package with printed copies in an heirloom box within a month. It's personal touches like this that truly make her exceptional.

Elizabeth Sent on 07/14/2018Sarah is an artist and an angel. she is truly so talented that a written review feels inadequate, but I will give it my best shot (but seriously, skip this and just go look at her website if you want to understand her work).
Sarah does not produce wedding photography; she produces art, which happens to feature your wedding (or engagement/new baby/whatever life milestone). She will make you look like a pair of models who belong in an moody and bohemian wedding catalog (this is not your mother's wedding photography style, and thank god for that. However, that said, your mother will still fall in love with Sarah and her work).
Sarah is a master at finding the right light, the right backdrop, the right small and emotional moment that you didn't even realize happened between you and those who you love. Sarah does this unbelievable thing where she is somehow able to capture the atmosphere and energy of each moment of your day in still imagery. You see her photos (of both guests and all the small decor details) and are immediately taken back to the feeling of being there. We did not have a videographer, but with sarah's photos, we will never need video footage to be transported back to our wedding.
Sarah excels in being the "fly on the wall." While I'm sure she's incredibly capable of doing heavily posed photos, where she is incredibly unique is in her ability to capture those candid moments, and to do so in a shockingly flattering way (because honestly, candid photos are often not synonymous with flattering).
In terms of the boring but important stuff, Sarah is incredibly professional, reliable and accessible, and a total expert. She is a pleasure to have around and makes you feel very comfortable. We truly could not have asked for a better experience with a more amazing photographer. Hire sarah!! You will NOT be disappointed. -

So far, we have only seen our engagement photos and a few 'sneak peek' wedding photos. We have LOVED every single photo. She is a great girl & you won't be disappointed! -
User2162776 Sent on 06/03/2015It took us 6 months to find the perfect photographer for our wedding. We didnt want the typical "posey" wedding pictures. We wanted someone with a great artistic eye and Sarah Murray was definitely the one! She was super responsive and very friendly. She was in constant contact with us during the whole wedding planning process. Dont be alarmed about having just 1 person doing all the photography. Sarah didnt miss anything during our wedding. All the photos were amazing and when we were doing our photos with just us she made it so easy we had forgotten we were getting our picture taken. Plus she did all this when she was 6 months pregnant! and didnt complain once. We couldnt have asked for a better photographer our pictures are just absolutely amazing!

Katie Sent on 07/11/2014Sarah Murray Photography is the BEST kept secret in the world of wedding vendors. Although after seeing her work leading up to my wedding and the day of, I think the secret out there now. Sarah had a blog with my photos up on her website and Facebook days after our wedding. I was actually still on the honeymoon when we saw the first set of pictures. The shipment with the USB, a starter set of printed photos, and a thank you card was delivered within 3 weeks. The day flew by so fast, but Sarah was there to capture everything. Our friends and family have ranted and raved about her work, and a couple of people plan to inquire about wedding dates and family photos. Everyone was blown away by her work. In addition, I was blown away by her affordability. Thank you, Sarah, for delivering the most amazing photos, on a budget I was comfortable with. I will cherish these photos forever :)
