The most magical experience
From the day we first spoke Sarah was kind, professional, helpful, supportive, and so much more. We could not have been happier with the experience we had and she went above and beyond to make our day magical and made sure we were happy with the photos and got all of the ones we wanted and didn’t even know we needed! I would recommend her to anyone and will be recommending her to everyone I know. -

Amazing photographer to work with
Sarah did a boudoir photo shoot with me prior to my wedding and that helped build such a great repour with her. She took amazing shots of my day and even brought an assistant. She was very easy to work with. I highly recommend Sarah for you wedding day, or any other even where you need someone to catch the beauty of the day. -

Breathtaking Photos, Incredible Experience.
My husband and I are so thankful for Sarah Malis Photography. We chose Sarah to capture our wedding reception because of her incredible artistic eye and attention to detail! She exceeded our expectations and made me feel so at ease. And, most importantly, her photos are AMAZING! (Long review below).
Sarah demonstrated her expertise starting with our first phone conversation, where she took the time to get to know us, our story, and our vision. She also took the time to research our venue BEFORE we even signed a contract, and she explained how she could capture our vision there.
After we officially chose Sarah, she kept in contact with us as needed and sent us a detailed (but not overwhelming) questionnaire about important photos, our plan, and more. She then used that questionnaire to create a day-of-timeline. The day-of-timeline was not only clear and comprehensive, but it was also visually pleasing, and I was proud to hand out copies of it to our wedding party.
On the day of, we were running a bit behind (in reality, a lot behind), and I was very stressed. Sarah adjusted seamlessly and worked on the fly to make sure we got all of our photos. Likewise, she was very reassuring and kind when I started to panic a little about people not being where they were supposed to be for pictures.
Our reception day was also very, very humid. Yet, Sarah still took tons of outdoor photos and somehow helped keep my hair in place and my dress from getting too sweaty or dirty (many times, she even held my decently heavy dress for me while I shuffled across the grass).
Sarah also stayed past her contracted time to take photos of people dancing even though we were the reason that things were behind schedule. We never asked her to do that, but she still went above and beyond for us!
Finally, Sarah told us she would send us sneak peeks a few days following the reception... But somehow, she sent us numerous beautiful photos less than 24 hours after the reception that we were able to share with our friends and family right away!
In sum, Sarah has an incredible eye for beautifully capturing important moments, she has impeccable attention to detail, she is kind and reassuring, and she is an overall true professional! So if you’re looking for a wedding photographer, look no further because Sarah's photos will surpass your expectations! Thank you Sarah Maris Photography!! -

The most watched website a week before our wedding was “weather.com”, having a micro wedding in the beginning of February 2022 - we were hoping for just snow and some sun.
We got, rain, freezing rain and cloudy skies! Thankfully, it was not continuous rain - but my goodness was it COLD!!
Regardless of the weather - Sarah captured our Special day and Absolutely Beautiful & Breath taking photos. We did travel to different locations which are very special to both my husband and I. We are so appreciative and have the (better than ever imagined) wedding photos. -

Phenomenal
Sarah was absolutely amazing she came to 2 different locations for us. She spent hours with us between the two! She pays attention to detail- our pictures came out incredible. We will cherish them for a lifetime. We will definitely be meeting with her again for more! -
