Oh man, I don’t even know where to start!! This beautiful woman made our day AMAZING. She is so good at what she does. The planning, the communication, the photographing, the logistics & making sure you are happy with every single thing. I couldn’t recommend her more!! I felt like I had known her for years, she was so warm and welcoming. Really went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted during our day! Our correspondence leading up to the big day was so detail oriented. She created the most beautiful script for our ceremony that was so personalized it had felt like a family member wrote it for us. Also the process of getting our marriage license & making our marriage legal was completely taken care of by Sarah & we did not have to do a thing!! 10/10 recommend her to everyone if you plan on going to Charleston for a photoshoot or elopement! -

We loved every aspect of working with Sarah; from our first phone call until the day she performed our ceremony. She contacted 4 of our closest friends/family members to get a feel for who we were. After speaking with them, she was able to understand our love story. She not only understood it, but she got it. Really got it. Our wedding ceremony wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was if Sarah hadn’t truly cared enough to get to know who we were; not only as a couple, but as individuals as well. Everyone commented on how she was able to so beautifully define the true meaning of love. Sarah’s so amazing that she even offers a “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” service where she will take your marriage license to the courthouse and file it for you! This took so much stress off of my plate. Sarah is a gem and I’m thankful that she’s now a part of our story. -

Amazing ceremony!!
Sarah was absolutely incredible to work with on our special day, we are super camera shy and she made us both feel so comfortable and was able to capture our happiness the entire ceremony, she was amazing to work with and would recommend her over and over 10000000x!!! -

Dream Ceremony in Charleston
Where to begin…simply…USE SARAH MACDONALD and Live Wilder Studio!!!
Lorraine and I used Sarah for our elopement ceremony in early September including photography, flowers and ceremony. We wanted to capture our beach setting and also the charm and history of downtown Charleston. We both have been married before so this time around gave us the chance to involve our two adult children, and even our puppy, to make it a truly family affair.
Sarah was so fun to work with and generous with her time and patience, from initial calls to LOTS of questions and messages from us right up until The Date! She really cared about our personal journey and helping us to make this event special. She managed to capture “our story” in a warm, funny and reverent ceremony script that blew us away. We have shared it many times with friends and family and it always brought smiles and a few happy tears. Lorraine’s 90 year-old mother said it best when calling the day after our reception party back home: “ I woke with a tear-stained pillow from happiness at the beautiful words and pictures from the ceremony!”
Even though everything was done remotely (we traveled for the ceremony) we got to know each other, and when we finally met Sarah in person, it was like seeing an old friend. Her energy and creative ideas made the ceremony and resulting photos everything we hoped for, she made us look great and captured the lighting and locations perfectly!
We highly recommend Sarah and Live Wilder Studio for your wedding planning, ceremony and photography. Flexibility, creativity and her wonderful personality combined to provide just what we wanted…you won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing | Authentic| Fun
Sarah was amazing! She made everything go so smoothly and stress free which is exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. She has the best personality and the pictures are better than I could have ever imagined. She really makes you feel so important and beautiful. I'll forever be thankful to her. My husband and I hired The MacDonald's (Sarah as photographer, Graham as officiant) for our intimate wedding ceremony in December, and they did the most wonderful job! Sarah was enthusiastic and genuine when it came to getting to know us as a couple, which she translated beautifully into a thoughtful script / program. Graham officiated flawlessly, and we were so thankful to have such a personalized ceremony. Her and Graham's efforts truly went above and beyond. Their detail-oriented nature put me at ease and allowed us to be fully present, knowing everything was going smoothly. Sarah is a gifted photographer and fully captured the sweetness of our day, and got all the shots we'd hoped for! She gently directed us without making things feel too "posed". She even shared a sneak peak gallery with us before the end of the night, which we couldn't believe! It was wonderful to look at with our guests the next day, and the full edited photos followed shortly after. I can't say enough good things about the MacDonald's, and how nice it was to have one couple handle both facets of our special day. They make a fantastic team, and you should ABSOLUTELY hire them! -

Sarah is an exceptionally great person, and photographer. We had an early morning wedding and I was quite nervous, but in walked Sarah and my nerves went away. She made me feel comfortable and can I say I was all giggles the entire shoot. 😊Sarah went above and beyond for us on our special day. Her interpersonal skills, professionalism, and genuine vested interest to ensure, she understands your needs so as to help create those moments of memories, are why I would fully recommend her services. -

We had to plan out daughters wedding remotely (from out of state) .. the wedding was planned to be a small beach wedding. After bouncing through several wedding photographers who were very inflexible to our needs and wanted to just sell you a standard "wedding package" ... we found Sarah MacDonald!
Right from the start Sarah was on top of communication and worked through exactly what we wanted for our Daughters beach wedding. She was very patient setting up the booking and stayed in touch along the way.
Sarah was fun and interactive and helped to move the wedding day along. She interacted with the Bride, Groom and family. All while being very professional.
Her photos turned out awesome! Sarah captured the essence of the day and the personalities of all involved. Before the reception was over, she had already started to post the wedding photos to her online gallery.
I highly recommend Sarah.
BTW - Sarah's pricing is fair and reasonable. Sarah has an online webpay that made payment easy. -

Our Elopement Experience 💯
Our elopement with LiveWilderStudios was nothing shy of perfect. Sarah made everything so easy and stressFREE. One of the biggest reason we decided to elope: ) From the pre elopement Skype meetings to the day of Sarah was there to answer any and all question we had. Her hubby Graham was our officiant and they just knocked it out of the park! The ceremony, the location, the pictures, the marriage license/certificate process. The best experience we could have wished for! -

Breathtaking
Sarah and her team were amazing! I love how simple the process was made for us from location to vows to pictures and after the support never stopped. Sarah was so diligent with paperwork and making sure we received everything in a very timely fashion. I know she got it done before I would have even been able to think about it, as well as not having to hassle with filing And please don't get me started on the pictures my gosh breathtaking is all I can say the location time of day lightimg everything was legitimately perfect and i dont use that word often. Sarah was ans is amazing so pure hearted and loving dedicated and her services can't be compared! -

Absolutely pleased
Sarah is phenomenal, from first contact we knew she would be the one for our special day. We had contacted other vendors for quotes which we got and though they there were a bit cheaper, they lacked Sarah’s energy and enthusiasm.
Our first meeting was via video call while she was at home being a super mom. She took time to get to know me and my wife. From there on we were treated more like family than clients. That’s the value you get from Sarah because she is passionate about her work and making your day memorable (which, trust me it was) is her laser focused objective. You need someone who is as excited about your wedding as you and your spouse are about each other. And that’s what you get with Sarah, it’s not a service it’s an experience from an artist that specializes in magical moments. . -

Excellent!
When Sarah was recommended for my elopement I was told “One name. That’s all you need.” THAT WAS SO TRUE. I’m unfamiliar with the area and she told me step by step exactly what was needed and even put in a lot of extra effort to make back up plans when bad weather threatened. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else! -

I don't have the words to articulate how amazing Sarah is. She is much more than a photographer. Her personality, expertise, passion and ability to have a solution for every problem that came our way made our entire wedding day so much better. Without her, we would have been a less happy bride and groom. She is not only a fabulous photographer, but she has a wealth of experience in all type of weddings/ceremonies, knows all things Folly Beach and Charleston like the back of her hand (and saved the day for us after Hurricane Ian wiped away the beach!)
We originally had an officiant hired but felt it was not as personal and customized as we'd like. Graham officiated our wedding and did an outstanding job. It was exactly what we wanted - just the right amount of tears, laughter and joy.
If you are considering hiring LiveWilder Studios for photography and/or officiating services, I promise you won't regret it.I'd give her 10 out of 5 stars of I could! -
