  BEST photographer EVER!!!!

  Sarah is absolutely amazing!! I have hired Sarah for a total of 3 sessions already and she will forever be my photographer. She recently did a family session with three children under 4 and she was so patient and helpful during the entire session. She made everyone feel calm and comfortable. I will use her every time I need professional photos done. She does amazing work and the photos come out beautifully every time. She is very talented and I can’t wait for our next photo session.

  Phenomenal! 10/10 recommend

  Having Sarah as my engagement and wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I could have ever made! She didn't just take beautiful photos, she captured moments and memories that I am going to cherish forever! She was an absolute joy to have on our special day! She captured all our beautiful and most treasured moments, was receptive to our wedding photo checklist, and she was so much fun to interact with throughout our wedding day! I would highly recommend her for any of your important life moments and family photos!

  Best photographer

  Sarah is absolutely wonderful and beyond professional when it comes to her clients. She makes everyone feel so welcome and so special. Not to mention she has the best eye for photography that will blow anyone away. I will forever go through her for any photos I need done.

  Sarah was a joy to work with! She has such a beautiful vision when it comes to her photography. I really appreciated how she listened to what I wanted in the photo before and even after the shoot when it came to editing. She was very comfortable to be around and made it fun! Working with her was such a pleasure and my family looks forward to doing it again soon!

  Sarah does amazing work! We have worked with her multiple times for different occasions and she always takes the best photographs. She is able to capture the mood and personalities of everyone. I highly recommend!

  I must start off by saying that I’ve never considered myself as being an emotional guy, but working with Sarah has changed my whole perspective. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! I never imagined that I would be lucky enough to marry my best friend since I was a child. First meeting Sarah was actually nothing but luck, she just happened to be in the restaurant the night that I proposed to my wife and in the crowd of strangers congratulating us, this phenomenal lady approaches our table. She was so personable and outgoing immediately introducing us to her husband and beautiful daughter. After giving us her contact information, we decided it was a no brainer to have her shoot at our wedding. She captured every moment and the pictures came out looking incredible! I will cherish these pictures as a reminder that I am the luckiest man in the world. Sarah, THANK YOU!!

  Sarah was a rockstar! She is SO responsive, answered all of my weird, excessive questions and is hilarious. She is so flexible with times and dates, and was able to wiggle us in exactly when we needed. She’s genuine, and I think that’s important for a photographer. Her energy is warm, so it makes you open up to the camera more.
  On a practical level, Sarah and I were like psychically connected... if that’s a word. She totally got my vision, and I got hers! The pictures showed that. Her ability to capture lighting is A+. She somehow makes every photo this gorgeous soft glow vibe (even if in the moment the tree branch you’re sitting on is not making you feel the glow). I love her style because the pictures somehow have a crispness to them, but still maintain the softness and glow... almost like a glass of hot cider on a fall day.
  She even brought her husband so he could help assist with our dogs, and other things!
  Sarah also travels for destination weddings. Pretty cool she’s willing to go wherever, whenever!

  First, Sarah did my engagement photos and they turned out amazing, so we decided to go ahead and pay for our wedding session too!! I was very happy with the finished pictures that we received for our wedding. They were absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. She was so fast at getting the photographs back to us; typically they say 2-3 weeks NOPE not with Sarah Kay Photography! Highly recommend her.

  We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer to help us capture our special day! Sarah was an absolute pleasure to work with! She made sure to capture the most beautiful shots that we can look back on years from now and still feel those butterflies from our wedding. If you’re looking for someone to capture your wedding through your eyes Sarah is the one! She is amazing and reasonably priced for what you get. 10/10 recommend!

  Sarah was AMAZING! The location we shot at was beautiful! She was very patient with us (family of 5). She captured amazing photos of us on guard and off guard! I couldn’t be more pleased! She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! #BOOKSARAHNOW :D

  Started out on a high but ended on a low

  I spoke with Sarah and she explained she was not available for the date of our wedding, but she had a photographer on her team who was. We spent 3 hours at the venue without the photographer from her team talking about where to take photos. We wanted to spend less time doing formal photos and more time with photos as people were enjoying the celebration (I now realize I should have said it is fine if these are posed), and indicated we had people who were really uncomfortable having photos taken. She assured us that she could make them comfortable.
  
  The photographer showed up as we should have been taking photos and had no real plan on where to take photos (in fairness she had never been to the property and this was a big mistake on my part to not have definitively laid out a plan with her or Sarah on where the photos were to be taken. I assumed with their talent and eye they would be better suited to pick where, out of the many options we had to take photos). The two main chosen locations (we are on a lake, have a beautiful pool, and a golf course flanks our property) were in front of our pool equipment with the neighbor's house in the background, and an area that was unlandscaped, and all you can see are unraked leaves. She then took some decent pictures of the ceremony. Despite having a photo list, many photos were not taken, and many of the key photos, like the one of our parents, were unusable. There wasn't a point that anyone adjusted my dress or adjusted the way we were standing or said anything to anyone other than (look at each other, which made everyone feel even more awkward). In some photos people look like they were photoshopped in because they are standing so far away. Many photos people look like they are in pain as there was no assisting with the fact they weren't comfortable having their photos taken. For the candid photos during the reception, it looks like we had a paparazzi at our wedding. Pictures from far away, people with no idea they were having their picture taken in many cases in embarrassing/unflattering positions. I was told this was the "documentary style" we had requested (we had never had professional photos, and that was definitely not what we had in mind).
  
  After the ceremony we received all 700 of our photos in 4 days saying that they had all been edited after editing them myself I can tell you there wasn't the time or care you would expect. I had friends that said don't worry your photographer will edit/touch up skin etc and make you look perfect even if your makeup isn't perfect. This definitely was not my experience, and if they weren't going to do that, suggesting that you do some touch-up in the moment would have been nice (you can't see yourself during photos). I was told, even though we had the wedding at our house, that there was "no time" to take a photo of my dad and me before we walked down the aisle. Given we weren't on a timescale, I was the bride, and I owned the place, I feel like we could have made that happen. I was painted to be some sort of a nightmare bride (our wedding had 20 people all of which, were family it couldn't have been more laid back).
  
  I have spent months editing and trying to salvage our photos as we won't likely ever have that group of family back together. I definitely won't have another wedding day. In fairness, we have some lovely photos, but everything from the interactions with the photographer, location of the photos, photo composition, and editing was very disappointing.
  
  As you can see from Sarah's reviews and photos, she does do lovely work. Unfortunately, we did not get this type of work. I wouldn't recommend working with her if she is using a photographer on her team, and I would get very specific about her interpretation of what she is hearing you request. In my case I deeply regret not working with another photographer.
