Sweet, Professional, & Easy to Work With

You really can't go wrong hiring Sarah. We have yet to see our photos (our wedding was one week ago), but I have no doubt in my mind that they will be beautiful, tasteful, and elegant. Sarah and her partner made us feel relaxed and natural, which is no easy feat for such non-photogenic people as us. She is the easiest person in the world to work with, and extremely sweet! The guests loved the polaroids, and they look incredible!

Sarah and Jeremy were also very flexible and respectful. We ended up doing something a little unique and made a day-of decision to read each other personalized vows alone before the ceremony in Forest Park. They captured those heartfelt moments without it feeling as though they were intruding on our extremely personal experience. They even thanked us afterward for allowing them to be a part of it. Wonderful experience!

My daughter's wedding was in January 2018 and she chose Sarah to do her photography.
Sarah was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so warm, friendly and helpful throughout the entire wedding. She truly has a gift. Her talent was able to capture the essence of pure love and fun on the faces of our family and friends. I just marvel at the warmth that radiates with all our pictures no matter the location (Clayton Court House, Chase Park Plaza Hotel, Forest Park and The Third Degree Glass Factory). I know you will be just as happy as we were. I highly recommend Sarah as your photographer for your special occasion.

My husband and I worked with Sarah Corbett on our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier! My wife and I could not have asked for a better photographer than Sarah Corbett! She worked with us on our engagement photos and our wedding day. She was amazing, as was her work! She listened to the vision we had in our heads for our wedding day and helped make it come to life! She was so kind and fun to work with! The way some brides feel about their dress, or their venue, I felt about Sarah. From our first meeting, my husband and I knew she was The One to trust with our wedding photos. We loved her work, and meeting her in person put such perspective into the photos she takes. She truly captures the spirit of her subjects.

Sarah was helpful and communicative from the moment we started working together. I had silly questions about what kinds of dresses/fabrics/colors would photograph the best, and she answered promptly and without making me feel like a "crazy bride." She helped us put together a realistic timeline for photos and the entire flow of our day. Sarah shares her opinions, but listens to her clients' needs. She gave us such great input on embarking on an experience we'd never had before.

Once our wedding day came, Sarah was the most calming presence in the room. She's friendly and fun to be with, putting me and our bridal party at ease in front of the camera. Her second shooter/partner was equally as fun, helpful and calming. My friends who have been in many bridal parties were so impressed with the speed in which they got through portraits. It was a hot St. Louis July day, but we got through our Forest Park photos before anyone really broke a sweat. I loved the spots she picked as well - locations I wouldn't have thought of that produced beautiful photos.

As for the final product, we LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos. I can't stop looking at them. Sarah captured glances and expressions of us and our family and friends that I will cherish forever. She has an amazing talent in bringing out the soul of everyone she shot. Our photos tell the best story of our wedding day. I will look at them forever. In the meantime, we're trying to figure out more reasons to have Sarah take our photos! You will not be disappointed if you have Sarah photograph any of your special events.

What can I say About Sarah? She is an amazing photographer. She captured our wedding exactly how I had dreamt about it. She doesn't take pictures, she captures moments, moments you never would even think to include on a shot list. She takes the time to get to know you and your fiance before the wedding so she understands what is important in capturing your wedding. She is kind, sweet and a stealthy ninja. I barely remember seeing her the entire evening, then when I received the images, I could not believe what she shot. She is a dream to work with!

Sarah is magical. As crazy as that may sound, she truly was for us on our wedding day.

The photos she took are all over our house and we are so appreciative that a soul like hers helped us capture such a special day. Every picture was full of joy, laughter, and smiles. Exactly what we wanted from our wedding day.

It's so difficult to put into words the amazing skill, technique, and heart that so beautifully comes together in each and every picture Sarah takes, but I'll try. My husband, Reg, and I came across Sarah when looking for our wedding photographer and immediately knew we didn't want anyone else to photograph our wedding day. Just from looking at her other events, we saw the amazing heart and love that she was able to so flawlessly capture in each snapshot and wanted nothing more for our big day. I come from a large and loving family and wanted our day and the images that would immortalize it to represent the love and welcoming joy that I knew would emanate throughout our wedding. From our engagement photos at the City Museum to our wedding shots in Forest Park and Third Degree Glass Factory, Sarah (& Jeremy) truly encapsulated the love/emotions/and life of each moment between my husband and I and our family and friends. Sarah took so much care in getting to know who we were before our engagement shoot and wedding day and made sure she got all the photos we wanted, plus hundreds of photos we never could have imagined ourselves. She was so thoughtful and generous with her time and we really appreciated that. We were planning our wedding from out of state and came into STL a few times before the wedding and she happily met with us when we were available, and even took a photo for us to use for our save the dates even though we had to reschedule the rest of our engagement shoot because of weather. When our actual engagement shoot happened at the City Museum, it was an extremely busy day with lots of families and kids running about. This didn't deter Sarah in the least! She didn't seem distracted or overwhelmed by the hectic surroundings, and instead seemed focused on us and capturing the best shots. She so effortlessly finds the right spaces that will photograph well and this truly shows in all of her work. Sarah is unquestionably the best wedding photographer!

Sarah was absolutely incredible and I have zero regrets or complaints with using her for our wedding. From the very beginning she was very easy to work with and coordinate schedules with. On our first meeting, she calmed our nerves and her excitement was contagious. We initially chose her because the quality of her work was apparent and so far beyond anyone else's we had seen. The photos she took of our wedding and for our engagement are beautiful and populate our house. I wish we lived closer to her, because we would have her photograph every important event in our life!

Sarah was absolutely perfect on our wedding day! We were married on the most beautiful day with wonderful weather & in an unbelievably ornate & gorgeous church. Sarah managed to capture not only the beauty of the locales so that we will remember them forever. She also captured the pure joy and ecstasy of the best day of our lives. We had 275 people in attendance that day, and, somehow, I think EVERY person ended up in a photo looking fabulous! Thank you for everything, Sarah!

Sarah Corbett has described the photographs she takes as soulscapes and I love that concept because I find it to be absolutely fitting. Sarah has a gift to capture the essence and beauty of humanity in her photographs. She captures the true and authentic spirit of those lucky enough to be the subject of her photos. Sarah works hard for her clients to make sure her photographs are an authentic portrayal of the couple. Sarah has tremendous skill and finesse with the camera; Her use of light is more than skilled, it is instinctual I would say. I have had the pleasure of knowing Sarah Corbett for the last 14 years but only recently had the honor of having her as our wedding photographer. We had a destination wedding in Hawaii and Sarah captured it just beautifully! Her positive and upbeat energy behind the camera not only makes you smile naturally, it also calms your nerves and completely uplifts you! Our guests also raved about her infectious personality, her unobtrusive presence and of course -- her knack for capturing and creating gorgeous photographs! Our wedding day is and was the most important day of our life. There are so many important vendors that are involved in putting together a wonderful wedding day. To us the most important was our photographer. We were very inexperienced when it came to photographers and who to pick. We looked at a few different photographers and websites. When we came to Sarah Corbett's page the photos just spoke volumes. Her pictures were candid and charming..not posed and cheesy. We met with Sarah and she was a delight to talk to. She made us feel so comfortable and really took the time to learn about my now husband and I. She wanted to know everything, so she could get a full picture of who we are and how we came to be a couple. Right then and there we knew she was the perfect photographer for our special day.
Wedding day:
Sarah and Kate were our photographers. They split duties one with the groom and one with the bride.
Sarah met myself and the my bridesmaids at the hotel. She was on time, professional and compassionate. She was not only a photographer she was basically another bridesmaid:) She captured such wonderful candid moments and was so helpful throughout the entire day. She had such enthusiasm and passion for her job. Every time she took a good shot she was so excited and will tell us how wonderful they looked.
Sarah made both Luke and I feel so comfortable being photographed all day and took the time to make sure we were happy. All of our wonderful memories and special moments we can keep forever thanks to Sarah and her immense talent!!! We are forever grateful

Sarah is simply the best. She was incredibly professional and at the same time felt like a friend capturing the wedding. Sarah was AMAZING to work with for our wedding. She met us whenever we had questions, loved hearing about the details of the wedding to get 'the vision' of the day, and really made our day speacial. She has a great eye for color, capturing emotion in the pictures, and makes you feel very comfortable. She was very prompt with getting our pictures edited after the wedding. We got so many compliments from family and friends about how great she was through out the day to everyone and how impressed they were with the final product. I'd recommend her to anyone that wants a fun, relaxed day and to work with someone that really knows what they are doing. She made me feel so pretty through out the day. And I knew I was marrying a handsome man ;), but had no idea he was such a model :) Sarah made us look like professionals :) THANK YOU!!!

We are compelled to write this review because we are blown away by the quality of the photos from our wedding by Sarah! Sarah captured the essence of the day truly. Her style is unique: Candid and unobtrusive. On the day she doesn't force awkward poses but has a stunning eye for a great frame and background and makes you feel very at ease as she snaps away. She is also a delight as a person and was a great addition to our wedding overall. She captured everything; all of the keys shots, moments and people to a T. We cannot begin to describe how lucky we feel to have been able to work with Sarah. We had a destination wedding and when we told people that our photographer was from St. Louis (we live in Philadelphia) and we weren’t going to meet Sarah until a few days before our wedding, we were met with more than a few skeptical looks. But from our earliest conversations through to the late night “Shout” dance session, we never regretted our decision for a second. Sarah’s work is indescribably beautiful. She is a true professional and genuinely seemed as excited about our wedding as we were. Our only request was that we hoped our photos would capture people enjoying themselves and being in the moment. Sarah’s “photography ninja” skills produced truly breathtaking images that we cannot stop looking at and that truly capture the personalities and joy felt by us and our guests. Sarah is such a fun, warm, and positive person, being around her dissolved all our nerves. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Sarah was the most amazing photographer we could have ever asked for. So professional but also kind, charasmatic and she has a heart of GOLD. We are so very glad she was a part of our wedding day. Could not have asked for a more incredible individual to provide us with our memories frozen in time. We wanted our pictures somewhat outside of the box yet still somewhat traditional...photographs with a funky edge without looking as such (if that makes sense!). Sarah is an artist with the perfect eye. She made it happen effortlessly; at least she made it seem effortless. It's obvious her work is her passion. From the first time we met with Sarah, I knew that there wasnt anyone else that I wanted to take our photographs for our engagement and wedding. She is truely: talented, genuine, and enthusiastic every step of the way. We were blown away with the quality of her work, and appreciative that she always went above and beyond to make sure that we had fun and felt comfortable during our special day. Sarah Corbett was the absolute best wedding photographer we could have hoped for. She worked with us before the wedding to learn our preferred style and she was very willing to cater to our needs. Sarah has a great eye for detail and her pictures were beautiful. She captures all of the moments that you want to remember (and some that you miss), but is never a distraction.
