To me, the photographer is the most important vendor that you'll hire. When our wonderful day is over, our most cherished memories are the photographs. Sarah is incredible at her job. On both our engagement photo shoot and wedding day, Sarah made my now husband and I feel so comfortable. Both of our days were horrible snowy and rainy weather and she had a smile on her face, upbeat personality, and was ready to brave the elements with us. In both sets of photos we look at them and it takes us back to how we felt on those days. She did an incredible job of capturing us and the love we have for each other. She listens to you and is extremely flexible if you ask for something specific to be captured. She's organized and you can tell she really loves what she's doing. She was great to work with! We're so unbelievably happy that we booked her, thank you!! Also follow her on instagram- her stories with her husband and kids are adorable. -

10 out of 10, Best of the Best!
We cannot sing Sarah’s praises enough! We had consultation calls with a couple of other photographers first but I kept coming back to Sarah’s pictures. She shoots weddings at The Farm at Eagles Ridge often (and was even married there herself!) so we knew she was very familiar with our venue, but I loved how her photos captured people in moments that really let their personalities and relationship shine through. I felt like I almost knew her couples just from the photos. Truthfully, she was slightly above what I had budgeted for photography but we decided it would be worth it. It was the best decision we made for our wedding!
Sarah is incredibly organized, professional but also fun and easy to talk to. She and her husband Ryan (who was her second shooter at our wedding) have the best balance of calm and fun vibes which is exactly what a generally stressful day like a wedding needs! Pre-engagement, my husband hated having his picture taken but his first comment after working with Sarah at our engagement shoot was how much fun he’d had with the prompts she gave us. We loved our time with her shooting our engagement photos in Philly but the photos from our wedding blew us away. The colors, the personalities, the emotion, the moments and our relationship are captured in such a beautiful way. It’s exactly what we wanted and then some. Her turnaround time was also so fast! We already had some sneak peek pictures as we boarded our plane home from our wedding and hundreds of pictures as a full “sneak peek” within 4 weeks! 10 out of 10 could not recommend Sarah more! -

Sarah is literally the BEST. I am so glad I found her two years ago and she agreed to be our photographer!! You don’t realize how important a GREAT photographer is until you get your pictures back. WOW. We haven’t even gotten the full gallery yet (our wedding was only 5 days ago) but I couldn’t wait to write this review in case it helps another bride make one of the most important decisions on her list! Sarah’s personality is the best and she somehow manages to get a shot of every little thing in little to no time. She simultaneously makes sure everything gets done and the show stays on time while also making the couple feel like they’re forgetting that they’re being photographed. She’ll get the best candid photos but also ask you prompts to elicit emotions so your photos are actually real, not phony looking. I could go on and on - THANK YOU, Sarah (& her awesome husband Ryan) for shooting our big day so perfectly!!! -

BEST Photographer!!!
When we were planning our wedding, I knew that our photographer was one of the most important decisions because once that magical day is over, the only thing you will have from your wedding day (aside from a spouse and your memories!) are the photos you will have to look back on! So it was an easy decision for us to go with Sarah Brookhart. She is an absolutely incredible photographer, and you can see that in all of her photos, but her most exceptional skill is her ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera!!! Sarah took our engagement and wedding photos, and we were so nervous for our engagement photos because both my husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera. But, Sarah effortlessly makes it such a fun experience, and in doing so she captures natural and loving photos for you to treasure. It was so nice going into our wedding day knowing that Sarah would do exactly the same in capturing our love and all of the special moments from that day. Our photos are beautiful, and we highly recommend working with Sarah for all of your photo needs!! -

Sarah was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding and we are soooo glad we did. We interviewed a few photographers before booking and Sarah was honestly the most expensive, but there were a few things about her and her process that convinced me to book and IT WAS WORTH IT! We don’t regret a penny because her work is worth that much.
Sarah was SO organized from the beginning. Upon booking, she sent us an online portal with all our documents and a magazine in the mail with tips and tricks to make our wedding day and engagement photos go smoothly. Truly priceless. We got lucky because Sarah had a trip to california planned before we booked her, so we were able to do our engagement photos at our home in LA.
On the day of the wedding, Sarah and Ryan came organized and prepared, easing any anxieties we had that morning. Ryan was shooting with my husband while he was getting ready and he said Ryan was just so calm and it made him feel so at ease.
They were so organized, my family loved them, and we had a blast getting our pictures taken with each other. Sarah and Ryan were down for anything. They worked so well with our toddler son, and sang the Bluey theme song to get him to smile for a picture.
Sarah delivered our photos FREAKY fast so I had pics to wedding announcement pics to post right away ;)
My husband and I loved reliving our wedding day through photos. S & R captured moments we didn’t even get to see like our son being passed around by his cousins and our older relatives getting down on the dance floor. Our wedding photos are so raw and unposed and candid, looking at them brought back all the feelings I felt on my wedding day.
I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough. I’m already thinking about booking future family sessions with her because she is just too talented and easy to work with! -

Sarah is the ultimate package - she is professional, yet fun, and is EXTREMELY talented. I fell in love right away with her candid style -- she truly captured the story of our love and the warm and intimate "feeling" of our big day. I loved that she didn't try to pose my husband and I, or my younger nieces and nephews, and just let us all be ourselves. She is the hype girl everyone wants to have with them on their wedding day; she gave us prompts to make us react naturally, and looking at our complete album, we were truly ourselves in the photos. I felt VERY relaxed on my wedding day, and Sarah's organization, combined with her relaxed, calming nature was a huge contribution to that. We also loved that Sarah did our engagement photos as well; having bonded and formed that in-person relationship prior to wedding day was another contributing factor to making our wedding day super fun and enjoyable. We would choose Sarah a hundred times over - she is amazing, and any couple would be lucky to work with her!! -

best decision hiring sarah!!!
when i got engaged, i told myself the one thing i was going to invest in was my photographer. i wanted someone to capture my vision of what i wanted for my day. i searched and searched through facebook and instagram and eventually i came across sarah. i instantly was drawn to her work. i actually couldn’t believe she had my wedding date available when i reached out to her. i felt an instant connection with her. we were even pregnant during the same time! she went above and beyond to make me feel like a friend rather than a client and for that i am forever grateful. on my wedding day she kept the entire photo process running smoothly which i really appreciated. i received my full wedding album yesterday and i’m literally in love with every single photo. i cannot recommend sarah enough! -

You won't regret it!
Sarah was by far the best decision we made for our wedding! Outside of the fact that her photos and editing are one of a kind and absolutely stunning, she and her husband, Ryan, were absolutely amazing! She clearly has this down for a science and makes sure you get everything you want. I never felt like she was being overly intrusive or staging us in awkward positions. Every shot was so authentic. She also turned the pictures around fairly quickly! We got ours around the same time as someone who got married 3 months before us. Absolutely LOVED working with her!! -

I cannot say enough good things about Sarah Brookhart. From the day I started following her a few years ago, I knew I wanted to work with her, and the first time we talked, I knew I was right all those years ago! Sarah is the definition of expert. From the way she makes you feel like you can tackle the wedding planning process to feeling comfortable in front of the camera, she was crucial every step of the way. But now, the real reason she's incredible is her work. Her photography has a way of capturing moments I've never seen another photographer capture. She captures the real, raw love. Not staged moments. Almost every photo she delivered to us, from our engagement to our wedding, made me cry. And on the day of the wedding, she was an absolute dream to work with. She kept everyone organized and moving along and made sure I got the exact photos I wanted. She even spotted a rainbow outside and ran in to grab us for a quick photo. She is always thinking about her couples and putting them first, and it shows throughout the entire process. Her husband Ryan is also awesome, and was even our officiant! He was so easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and was a great buddy to the guys during the wedding day. And the best part, he knows when to get out of the photo for the first kiss: rockstar officiant! My husband and I can't recommend Sarah enough, and everyone that sees our photos asks who took them and we are SO excited to say SARAH BROOKHART! Seriously brides, if you want an amazing, reliable vendor that takes the most incredible and meaningful photos EVER, Sarah is your girl! -

Where do I begin? Sarah Brookhart Photography was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process!! From the get-go, Sarah was nothing but personable, professional, and just put us right at ease. She truly strives to get to know her couples and uses this superpower to turn average couples (like us) into photo rockstars! We felt as though we were having all of our engagement and elopement pictures taken by an old friend, someone who really cared about us. Aside from the amazing memories, Sarah has helped us capture, we are very grateful for how she helped us navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Sarah was beyond helpful, she always answered our questions with sincerity and honesty. She even helped us make our elopement dreams come true in a little less than a month, including having her sweet husband be our officiant!! You will come to Sarah for her photography talents but stay for all the other awesomeness. Can't wait to update everyone after our celebration this summer!! -

We could not have asked for anyone better.
Sarah is phenomenal. It’s taken me two weeks to write a review because I just didn’t feel ready. She captured my husband and my personality and love so well, it shows in every picture from the sneak peek she gave us. She is a total pro and is absolutely worth every penny. She and Ryan had lots of experience with weddings at our venue, so I felt very comfortable letting her run the show. They both did a fantastic job with putting us, our wedding parties, and our families at ease while also being very efficient with time. Sarah was thinking ahead and planning the whole time, she thought of things that never occurred to me. I cannot recommend or praise Sarah enough, she is absolutely phenomenal. -

I don't even know where to begin! This review is long overdue as I've now had the pleasure of being photographed by Sarah and Ryan three times - Our engagement, pandemic elopement, and large wedding ceremony. Working with Sarah was a dream come true - she is organized, professional, and fun to be around! Throughout our photo shoots, we played games, laughed, and danced and my husband and I truly forgot that we were supposed to be posing for pictures. The result: absolutely stunning pictures where we look natural, happy , and in love - exactly how I want to remember our special day! On top of that, Sarah started her maternity leave shortly after my wedding and she still committed to delivering a sneak peak album (300+ pictures) and full album within 2 months. I can't recommend Sarah Brookhart Photography enough! -

Sarah is everything you could want & MORE
Sarah was absolutely exceptional. I always dreamed of what our wedding photos would look like and they were far surpassed. Sarah is professional, fun, responsive, not to mention an absolute artist. Her work is personal, she captures your raw emotions through out the whole day. By the time the wedding was over Sarah felt like a friend. She makes you feel so comfortable infront or the camera. She is there for absolutely everything and doesn’t miss a single moment. Her work is something my entire family (and in laws) will treasure forever. Don't even think twice about booking Sarah for your wedding! She and Ryan (her husband and second shooter) were with us on both our elopement and wedding day as well as an engagement shoot -- we spent a lot of time together -- and they make every moment together amazing with the result of stunning and timeless wedding photos. I was so nervous about being nervous on camera but they made us feel so at ease and made our photography experience FUN. Sarah Brookhart Photography was hands down one of the best decisions I made when it came to wedding vendors. First of all - she's extremely talented. I love her editing, candid shots, and the way she can capture such pure emotion and storytelling through her lens. Second of all - she is so fun and easy to hangout with. And let me tell you - that's important when you're spending an entire day with someone. I told Sarah from the beginning that my groom didn't like getting his photo taken (he has 0 patience and just wants to be having fun with everyone else). Sarah and her husband Ryan made it so fun on our wedding day by asking us silly questions and even questions that made us think about our history together and why we love each other so much. It made the photo-taking process fun but also allowed them to capture our real emotions which is so crucial. I love that her pictures aren't cookie cutter but seem to be moving moments in time. She also sent me a sneak peak with about 5+ photos literally 2 days after our wedding so I could share on my instagram! All of my bridesmaids LOVED her as well - she captured her shots efficiently and quickly (aka we weren't there for 4 hours taking a million pictures). She also made them laugh as well with some of her prompts that she had (including all of us walking to the tune of "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix a Lot). Her and Ryan's energy were great and they were such an awesome duo to capture the girls and guys. I'm thrilled with her work and will definitely be hiring her again for any future picture needs.
