One look at Sara’s pictures and I knew she would be able to capture what I was looking for on my wedding day. Once the party is over and the planning is done, the photography is what brings you back to that amazing day. Sara captured all the emotions from our wedding day in her gorgeous pictures. From our engagement session to our wedding day, Sara was so easy to talk to and work with. She got all the shots we wanted but never made us feel like we left the party! We can’t thank her enough for helping us be able to relive those memories for a lifetime!

Sara (and her assistant Mary Kathleen) were outstanding! We knew as soon as we met her in person that she was the right photographer for us! She understood that we were about having a family celebration, not a day for just us, and she absolutely stayed to true to our wishes. Now, having all of the photos of the day it feels like reliving it all over again. She captured every sweet moment, each and every one of our loved ones, the details of the day, and our two cats! The photos all exude the vibe we had that day and we're so grateful! I would recommend her to anybody!

Sara is sensational and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Her style is so unique and beautiful, it's unlike anything I've ever seen, and we are so so happy with our choice to go with Sara. I found Sara because she was the photographer for my cousin's wedding, and after seeing their photos, I needed to know who their photographer was. Sara took our engagement photos (which we have received back) and will take our wedding photos next August, and we could not be more excited or more happy with our choice. Every single engagement photo came out amazing - it was difficult to choose just 2 for our save the date! She's responsive, easy to work with, makes you feel at ease and comfortable, but also gives advice, which I really appreciate and value.

The biggest thing I want to say about Sara is that having confidence in my wedding photographer has taken so much pressure off of many other aspects of my wedding day. She's organized and keeps things moving in a timely manner, and you will not be disappointed with her photos. She's amazing.

Sara's work is beautiful and she's so easy to work with! She took two awkward love birds and three quirky pets and somehow got amazing shots of all of us that reflected our love. Can't wait for her to photograph our wedding!!

I fell in love with Sara’s photography the second I saw it, and we are so lucky to have been able to book her for our wedding. Her style isn’t like anything else I’ve seen. Not only is she a great photographer, but she’s a lovely person all around. We loved meeting with her and talking to her. She and her assistant were amazing on the day itself, having fun with us and taking great pictures even in some rain. She was open to what we wanted, while also using her professional experience to guide our shots as well. I can’t say enough about how our day was completed with Sara there as part of it. Also, she got a handful of pictures back to us just a couple of days after which was so fun! They were so beautiful I cried!

Sara was exactly what we were hoping for and more in a photographer! She was responsive, thoughtful and helpful as we planned our engagement photos and a supportive presence on our wedding day. Her "get to know you" questionnaire had us feeling at ease immediately. When we received our photos back we couldn't stop looking through all of them - each one was better than the next! Our more formal portraits were incredible, but her candid shots really captured the emotions of the day. We feel so fortunate to have chosen Sara as our photographer and would highly recommend her!

Sara was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the first meeting she worked carefully with us to ensure that we selected the best photography package for our wedding vision and our budget. Sara was extremely responsive and checked in several times before the wedding to ensure we were all on the same page. Sara's calm demeanor made our engagement pictures a breeze and an experience we genuinely enjoyed. On the wedding day Sara and her team were extremely professional and helped keep this very high strung bride calm as they walked us through all the pictures we wanted to get with our family and friends. She checked in with us throughout the wedding day and before she left to ensure we had everything we wanted. We got our proofs back this week and could not be more thrilled with the quality of the images and the variety of candids and posed photos. Every single step in the process with Sara was amazing and fun, from the engagement session to the actual day. She kept things moving so smoothly and was able to tame our crazy crowd of a family, and gave us helpful directions on how to pose. Don't even get me started on the images. I'm very picky about how I look in images, and she was able to make me feel so pretty! Every single image she captured that night is amazing and I will cherish them forever and ever. My Fiancé and knew right away after meeting with Sara, that she was the right wedding photographer for us. We visiting and spoke with two others before Sara but needless to say she was the right fit for us. She made was very flexible with her schedule and made us feel very comfortable during our engagement shoot. She also captured some of the prettiest pictures of us that I have ever seen. Sara honestly deserves more than 5 stars. Photography was super important to my husband and I and Sara was actually the first vendor we booked. We fell in love with how original and fresh her work is. She sees love from a totally different perspective than other photographers and puts an artistic and creative flair into everything she does. We were so afraid our pictures would look cookie cutter and I can promise you, if you go with Sara and her team this shouldn't be a concern!

Sara is patient and a true professional. She felt like a friend and not just a vendor we hired for our wedding. Thank you Sara for capturing the best day of our lives and for giving us 800+ pieces of art we can look back at to relive our special day.

Sara did our engagement pictures and wedding this past summer! Words cannot describe how amazing she was. Her photography is unique and beautiful and she truly knows how to capture all the perfect moments. I was very nervous about our engagement pictures session, however Sara made it feel so comfortable and natural. She took some amazing sunset beach pictures that we will cherish forever! And then our wedding-- was simply perfect. It was a place she had never photographered before, however you could never tell. She knew exactly where to take pictures that captured every scenic moment! Every single person who looks at our wedding pictures absolutely love them! Sara did my close friends wedding a month later and did just as an amazing job!! Sara's work speaks for itself. But, I will try to do it justice in words. My mother said about the photos I put on facebook that Sara took, "I keep thinking I've seen the best one, until I see more and more!" Sara doesn't take photos for a living. Sara captures moments and emotions with a camera. She truly has a talent.

I thought I wouldn't care about having any photos of people dancing and sweaty at my wedding. Sara proved me wrong. Friends and family dancing were captured by her lens in an incredible way. They don't look sweaty or drunk- they look happy and full of bliss.

Working with Sara was a pleasure. She puts a great deal of
effort into getting to know her clients, beginning with our first meeting before we ever signed anything (we met at a dog friendly patio for a beer). She encourages that couples do an engagement photo shoot so that she can learn more about them and so they feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

Sara was more than I could have hoped for when it comes to wedding photographers. Of course, when planning a wedding, budgets are a huge factor. I was (at one point) willing to sacrifice a photographer to put money towards other aspects of my wedding.... THANK GOODNESS I did not sacrifice Sara!!!

She captured every moment of our day without ever making me feel overwhelmed with obligatory photos. Not to mention that it was raining and our ceremony was outdoors. Sara truly never stopped smiling. She rolled with every punch without blinking an eye and I felt completely comfortable with her the entire time I was in front of the camera.

Upon receiving the final photos from the wedding, I was in shock. After a rainy day, I did not expect or get my hopes up for the most spectacular photos. But I was wrong. Each and every photo was, and is beautiful. Sara captures everything, even the smaller moments you definitely missed. I am forever grateful to her, and would recommend her work to anyone a thousand times over.

Choosing Sara as my wedding photographer was honestly one of the best choices I made during the whole planning process. We clicked right away, and she was always enthusiastic about my ideas, while providing tons of helpful tips along the way. On the day of, she was perfect- there to calm me down when things got hectic, and completely out of sight while managing to get amazing shots during the day (I had a few guests comment on how impressed they were with her climbing up into trees and such to get the perfect shot)! The photos from the engagement session and the wedding capture everything I could have hoped, and made me look 1000 times more beautiful than I thought I could on my wedding day. A few months later the whole day seems like a blur, but looking back through all the photos she took helps me remember every moment of it. I would recommend her to anyone!

I am overjoyed with Sara, her professionalism, personality and ultimately the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. We found her after endlessly searching the internet with no one who was quite the right fit. Reading through her website to "get to know her" we knew we would get along. Then to go through her portfolio I was even more pleased with the photos she showcased. Sara is one of a kind. Her uniqueness really shines in her photography of her clients.
Starting to work with Sara was like I had known her forever. Planning our wedding in Massachusetts from California, and only visiting once before the big day had its challenges, but Sara made it easy and stress free. Sara was able to squeeze us in for engagement pictures the day before Thanksgiving an hour before sunset (due to our busy schedule). The result.... Perfection. When we received the engagement photos I knew she was the "one" for us.
Through the rest of the planning process she was always available to answer questions, regarding the wedding, or anything else we needed. She was always kind and genuine but first and foremost a professional. On the day of the wedding I swear I never saw her, yet looking back at the pictures she was everywhere. Showing our friends and family they were blown away at her ability to capture so many special moments of the ceremony and first look. I had not doubt because I was already fully aware of her magic.
The pictures turned out more then I could have asked for. Every one perfect. My husband said she made us look like models :) I am so lucky to have those moments captured, the love, joy and silliness the day held. The pictures I received I will be proud to share with friends and family for generations to come.

My now husband and I found Sara after searching through lots of wedding photographers, Sara’s photos stood out from the rest. We contacted Sara, and discussed everything that we were looking for in a wedding photographer, and everything we wanted to avoid. My husband and I met with Sara, reviewed her portfolio; she listened to what we had as a vision for our wedding, and she gave us new and unique ideas adding to what we had in mind, and we decided to hire her right there on the spot.

Since Sara was the first vendor we hired, we were extremely nervous about everything. We put her through weeks of e-mails, and phone calls, asking her a ton of questions. Yet, Sara remained patient with us throughout the entire process.

For the day of the wedding, Sara worked with me, and captured so many beautiful getting ready pictures. Sara’s photo’s displayed all of my emotions before the big reveal. Every photo from the day of the wedding captured every unique moment of the ceremony. Sara worked through every crazy moment, working on her feet, even when things got delayed, Sara and her team coordinated everything to make sure we had enough time for all of the shots we wanted (which when totaled were about 800 photos!) Sara was always in the background, completely unnoticed, yet she captured everything in the ceremony. She let the ceremony be the focus of the moment; she wasn’t hovering around distracting our guests or us from the moment. She worked flawlessly, capturing every key moment of the ceremony.

Sara is not only is an amazing photographer, and artist, but a great person. If you’re looking for photos that capture the love, magic, and beauty of your big day, hire Sara, she will definitely save the memories of your big day in a way that will make you want to enjoy, and share them for a lifetime.

In short, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. The artfulness of her photographs is what drew us in. Sara was probably my favorite vendor throughout the whole wedding process. She was very helpful and easy to work with. She's great at getting photos of people who aren't really great at taking photos too. I love that we have several very unique photos from our wedding day. How to describe Sara?

After we got engaged, months and months went by before we even started thinking about wedding planning. Then someone said we needed engagement pictures. What?! WE DO!?! Enter Sara.

From the very beginning, Sara made us feel so comfortable with her laid back nature, from our very first meeting in a quirky coffee shop in downtown Providence (to which she bribed the owner into letting us take pictures there - because she knew coffee was an important aspect of our relationship and love story). Then she took a candid shot of us with a random guy playing the piano. In a park. At sunset. The shot ended up being featured on a photography website highlighting same sex love – an ode to Sara’s eye and outside-the-box mentality. Our pictures were ready to view almost immediately and she even did an incredible job on a canvas of our favorite shot in the coffee shop.

During the shoot, she asked questions about how we met, what we liked about each other etc. because she honestly wanted to know. She wants to be best friends and get to know you so she can tell your story exactly how it should be told.

If she didn't impress us with the engagement shoot alone, she BLEW US AWAY at our wedding. She endured crazy families of varying sizes, personalities and attitudes, getting lost on the way to our wedding party photo shoot location a mere 2 hours before the wedding (!!!), and indecisive grooms to name a few - but she handled it all amazingly and was such a calming force on that crazy day. She created a schedule for the day, but adjusted to the occasional change in plans with grace and professionalism!

Throughout the entire process, she was so easy to get in touch with and always offered advice on other things above and beyond photography. Her talent is so effortless and I'm jealous of all the couples who have yet to work with her because you're in for an amazing ride! Thank you Sara for EVERYTHING!

Looking over our options we came across sarasmile photography and fell in love instantly! Sara is able to capture those perfect moments that are planned and those that aren't, which for us have been our favorites! Another special touch about Sara is that she really wants to know who her clients are and incorporates it into her photography (like grabbing a beer all decked out on our wedding day!). It really made us feel special and excited to shoot our engagement and wedding photos with her. Sara was also flexible with our wedding day of schedule, which was so helpful. Basically, we love Sara and would recommend her to anyone!!

Sara was recommended to us after one of my super talented high school friends let me know she was not a comfortable wedding photographer. I let her know i was looking for a photographer who specialized in creative, rustic and most importantly CANDID photography as my, now husband (eep!), is the exact opposite of photogenic.

So I stalked Sara's website, facebook, Instagram - you name it - for about a week and decided she was what i was looking for (at least by what i saw). We met up at the Duck and Bunny for a drink and cupcake to discuss specifics and to view some of her prints and albums. Sara was extremely personable, professional, kind and funny. We decided to book her. Now, we changed locations/dates multiple times and through the whole process she was so understanding and laid back about my indecisiveness. And she was even willing to still do the wedding day photography knowing we were uninterested in the engagement shoot which is usually included in the package.

Day of the wedding she was extremely prompt and completely organized in her vision for our big day. She brought along an assistant and second photographer who were just as pleasant to work with as Sara. We did a first look, then a quick trek into the Caratunk Wildlife Reserve, which she recommended for our couples' photos. She scoped it out ahead of time and had a vision, knowing exactly where/what we were to do.

Her instruction for us was flawless from the beginning all the way up to the family and bridal party photos, which were done at the reception site, Francis Farms. Now, we as a group are not the most attentive of people, but her focused and professional attitude was not only effective, but produced some AMAZING results in the photos she captured. The posed photos and candids throughout the night. We are PRIVILEGED to have had Sara guiding us through it all. From the beginning Sara was very friendly yet professional and efficient. Her online contract and questionnaire system worked perfectly and was very helpful in getting us to think about what shots we wanted. Once she arrived, she immediately started maximizing our time together to get the most and best shots possible. She and her assistant were always friendly and helpful, had a good sense of humor (necessary in the stress of a wedding!), and were willing to be flexible with the schedule due to straying family members, etc. I would highly recommend her.

This review is about something that you may not consider a priority when deciding on a photographer: their work ethic. Sara has an impeccable balance of professionalism and making you feel like you’ve known each other forever. On our first meeting, she was prepared with a folder of various packages with descriptions. She took time to get to know us and listened to our needs, but also offered her creative input. Throughout planning she would check in and offer assistance (creating timelines, offering advice). Especially the weeks leading up, she was always easy to reach (despite being peak wedding season for her). A week before our day, the weather said rain. I emailed her panicked and she gave me 3 backup plans. Luckily it didn’t, but I cannot thank her enough for calming me and assuring that we would still have amazing pictures. 2 days before the wedding, she scouted First Look locations in order to be prepared. Sara takes the time to prepare for each wedding. On the day, she was punctual and worked efficiently. She makes everyone feel very comfortable in front of the camera with words of encouragement, jokes, and giving great direction. You will have LOTS of fun! All of her photos come out natural (not overly posed) and gorgeous. She also has a great turnaround time. After our engagement photo shoot, we got to have a few sneak peeks of the shoot that we did only a couple hours before! Even on the night of our wedding, she was able to upload a few pictures while we were eating dinner. When you pick a wedding photographer, you are picking someone that you will be sharing intimate details of your wedding with. All of your wedding guests aren’t with you while you get ready, but your photographer is with you from start to finish. Sara knows that it is a privilege to be a part of this important day and treats it as such. I recommend Sara for any photography need and look forward to working with her again!

Sara was amazing and the photos of our wedding are beautiful! She was responsive and her planning document was a great help. She also rolled with the punches on the day and still managed to keep everything on time. We received our photos through the end of the ceremony within days of the wedding through our online gallery, and they were beautiful. Thank you, Sara!

Sara is an amazing photographer and we loved working with her! From the start she made us feel so comfortable and we knew she was the one for us. She takes the time to get to know her clients and that really shows in her work. She was easy to get in touch with and gave us some great advice on a videographer as well. My spouse and I did not have an engagement photo session and we did not have a professional photographer at our wedding. However, we do have incredibly talented friends who all chipped in and took great pictures of our big day for us. But when I look back, it feels like we may have missed some key moments and beautiful photo-ops.Fast forward, now two and a half years later, to a conversation about this exact topic with our friend and professional photographer, Sara Jessica Pacheco from Sara Smile Photography. Sara kindly offered to give us the photo shoot(s) we never had in a space she will be featuring on her website, Slater Mill in Pawtucket RI. Although I was a bit reluctant at first, as I was not sure if it was faux pas to get photos in your dress after your wedding nevermind if it would even still fit, we agreed and we could not be more delighted! From the moment we showed up to the moment we walked back to our car Sara and her assistant, Kristen, were spectacular! (Sara is so amazing at working her magic that Kristen was one of her brides and is now working with her.) Sara’s level of professionalism, dedication to her art, and raw talent seeps through in all that she does. We are not models and frankly we can be a bit goofy, but Sara was able to direct us and highlight our best features in such an effortless way that we didn't even notice we were being photographed. I truly cannot express how happy we are with the pictures that were created! Certainly weddings and everything that comes with them can be pricey. I definitely believe in being realistic and staying within a budget. However, from one bride who didn't take this advice to another bride who I hope will- Prioritize a professional photographer. Sara is amazing and I highly recommend her to anyone interested in hiring a photographer… and anyone who thinks they aren't interested!

Sara Pacheco of Sara Smile Photography is not only tremendously talented, she is a very special person as well. She was such a joy to work with during this entire process. Her creativity and artistic eye made for some of the most unique and magical wedding photos I have ever seen! We were so lucky and blessed to have found her, and have had the opportunity to work with her. She captured moments and feelings from our wedding day which I did not know could be captured in a photograph. The day of our wedding, she was not only our photographer, she was our friend. We just got married and Sara was our primary photographer for an awesome day. She was really good dealing with all the kids that we had running around and getting them to smile at her. We were also quite pleased with the second photographer that she had with her at the wedding. Both ladies had a good sense of humor and, based on the photos we have already seen, have taken some great pictures.

We contacted Sarah last minute and were grateful that she was able to do our vow renewal on such short notice. Her prices are very reasonable and worth every penny! She was great while taking pictures of all the kids in the wedding party because we all know that can be a little stressful. My family was impressed with the way she kindly handled friends and family who were taking pictures while she was. I want to have all the pictures printed and framed, I can't pick. Sara did an amazing job capturing our wedding. She has a lot of creative ideas on how to get interesting pictures, especially during the pre-ceremony when I was getting ready. She is very easy to talk to, and responds quickly to emails (a must for brides!) She is great when it comes to planning, and really tries to personalize your photos.
