We cannot say enough wonderful things about Sara and Chris! From the moment I talked to Sara on the phone for our initial call, I knew she would be our wedding photographer. She was the first photographer I talked to who actually listened to the details of what I envisioned for my wedding and emailed me some of her work based on what I was looking for. It was a no brainer! We did an engagement shoot with Sara and Chris which was so fun to get those photos taken and also get comfortable with them and being behind the camera.
When Sara and Chris arrived on our wedding day, they were by our sides, making sure every special moment was captured beautifully. Their professionalism, kindness, and incredible talent made us feel so comfortable and at ease the entire day and night. They take initiative and do not let the little things get in the way!
I was feeling some nerves on my wedding day, and Sara went above and beyond by taking a moment to pray over me and allowing my bridal party to pray over me too. That gesture meant the world to me and truly helped put me at ease and be present in the moment. It’s rare to find photographers who not only capture your memories but also genuinely care about you.
Not only did they take the most breathtaking photos that we will cherish forever, but they also provided so much support throughout the day—whether it was helping us stay on schedule or capturing those little candid moments that mean everything.
Sara and Chris will definitely be our go-to photographers for all of our future photography needs, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, dedicated, and all-around amazing photography team. Thank you both for making our wedding day so magical! -Justin and Lexie -

So thankful for Sara Purdy Photography
My husband Luke and I were so blessed to have Sara Purdy and her team photograph our wedding day. Not only was she wonderful on our wedding day, but also every day leading up to the big day from the first moment that I inquired with her about shooting our wedding after we got engaged. She goes above and beyond capturing the moment and her expertise, guidance, and wisdom for the bride-to-be is unmatched. I cannot image our wedding day without her. Not only will she work wonderfully with you, but also with your family and the vendors involved (if you're planning to have her photograph your wedding, she is wonderful for other photo opportunities also!). She never let us down in any way, and truly the opposite by exceeding our expectations by her utmost flexibility and hospitality. My first conversation with Sara we talked about my desire to have photos that were timeless and would last us forever, and our collection is just that. We highly recommend Sara, and we promise that you will not have one photo taken that you simply do not absolutely love! -

I highly recommend Sara (and Chris, her husband). I hired Sara back in 2019 and was so excited to use her for our fall wedding in 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to cancel our big plans and postponed our reception to this summer. We still ended up getting married last fall and Sara and Chris were there to capture the special day. They didn’t have to do that (it wasn’t part of the agreement), but it meant SO much to us. I can’t thank them enough for being there that day. From engagement photos, wedding pics on the beach, and finally the wedding reception, Sara and Chris made us feel relaxed and comfortable through it all. We couldn’t have asked for a better duo. -

My husband and I hired Sara and Chris for our wedding and we could not be happier with our decision! Sara was super helpful from the start. I knew I picked the best photographer when all of my other vendors raved about her (understandably so!). The day of, they were amazing to work with. Everything was seamless and comfortable from start to finish. The pictures from our day turned out absolutely STUNNING. They did such a great job capturing all of the special, candid moments. So many of our friends and family have told us how beautiful the pictures are. We cannot recommend Sara Purdy Photography enough! -

First let me start by saying - Chris (Sara’s husband & photography partner) traded pants with my husband on our wedding day after my husband ripped his pants!! If that doesn’t say enough about how AMAZING this duo is, then I don’t know what will.
Throughout the entire wedding day, they were there for every important moment, moments that I didn’t even know were important until I saw them captured. They delivered the most perfect photos and captured each moment in the most artistic and magical way. There is no better, no team more professional, kind, caring, easy to be around, and FUN - which was SO important because we basically spent the entire day with them. They felt just like family/friends celebrating the day with us. They truly made our day THAT much more perfect and we will never forget them!
We have so many friends that are “ammature” photographers who could have done the job for next to nothing, but please believe me when I say it was worth every penny to have Sara & Chris, who are unbelievably talented. Starting with our engagement photos, they strived to make it the most comfortable and natural environment and it absolutely paid off and showed in the pictures. 110% recommend :)

We are so thankful for Sara and Chris! They go above and beyond and make you feel like you are the only couple that they are working with. I was blown away by the photos they were able to get during our engagement session! They always make you feel at ease and really take the time to listen to find out what you want and don't want. They are an amazing couple and the best photographers I've worked with. Highly recommend!!! -

I don't know where to start with Sara (and Chris). From the beginning she was so receptive and welcoming. Our engagement shoot was so great and when she found out we moved our wedding out of state she jumped on the chance. When working with Sara it was like working with a great friend. Our pictures have turned out so amazing, I couldn't imagine any thing better! 10/10 would recommend Sara and Chris, they made our wedding! -

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin with how wonderful Sara and Chris are at what they do. Sara and Chris without a doubt made our wedding day 100% better by being a part of it. At the end of our big day, we not only felt like we would have the best wedding photos of all times but also like we gained two amazing friends! They made us feel comfortable and calm at all times and they found a way to make everything that we wanted to happen, happen. Don't think twice, book Sara and Chris as your wedding photographers. You can trust that they'll do an amazing job and have your back throughout your entire day. We 10/10 would use them again and we absolutely will be using them again for shoots in the future :) -

We were married in beautiful Florida in April, 2018, and highly recommend Sara Purdy Photography.
As we live in Wisconsin, we were nervous and overwhelmed with all of the preparations leading up to our BIG DAY. Our wedding coordinator at the resort provided a list of preferred vendors and after consulting with Sara, I knew she was the right option for what we desired.
Sara was incredibly helpful as we finalized our details and very willing to connect via phone and email. I was very pleased with her attention to detail as we embarked on our adventure.
The BIG DAY arrived and Sara and her husband, Chris, conducted "First-Look Pictures" with us. It was immensely emotional and each moment was expertly captured. Both Sara and Chris were friendly, upbeat, and respectful of our wishes. They stayed for the duration of our reception and interacted very positively with our guests. We had eight nieces and nephews in our bridal party- all age seven and under- and they were treated with patience and kindness.

Emily Sent on 09/20/2018I cannot recommend Sara and Chris enough! I was an out of state bride, and Sara quickly answered all my emails and made herself available for a meet and greet when I was in town. She sends out a questionnaire to really understand your expectations and any special needs or requests which she was flexible. I received a very detailed timeline for the day of; this helped me schedule hair and makeup, getting dressed, and we chose to have a first look (a must). Chris and Sara were right on time and their easy-going attitudes were a calm presence in an otherwise crazy day. They wrangled all of the bridle party and family members like pros and shot beautiful photos. The photos! They exceeded my expectations! I have photos of everything I asked for, and things I didn't know I wanted. I received a preview photo the very next day, and the entire digital library very quickly. They shot so many wonderful moments, it took me a while to decide on which prints I wanted, because I wanted them all. I also received a stunning photo album where the photos really tell the story of the day. I absolutely would recommend Sara and Chris, their work speaks for itself!

Allyson Sent on 12/27/2017Sara and Chris are fantastic! They are organized, punctual, professional, thoughtful and genuinely the nicest people you will ever meet. Sara took the time to explain to me all the options I had for wedding photography. She had a detailed timeline of how the day would go. They took the time to get to know us, and treated us like friends. We felt very comfortable working with them, which shows in our pictures because everything looks so natural. They captured every moment we wanted. I am obsessed with pictures, and I was beyond thrilled with the quantity and quality of photos we received. The pictures turned out beautifully! The images are very sharp, bright and clear, from the middle of the day in the blazing sun to night on the indoor dance floor, they all look wonderful. So not only did we have the perfect wedding with the best photos to hold the memories, we also gained two awesome new friends ❤️ I would highly recommend Sara Purdy to anyone who wants fantastic photography to document their special day!

Katie Sent on 10/18/2017I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Purdys! Both Sara and Chris were so personable and easy to work with that even my camera adversion husband enjoyed our shoots! They made us comfortable and worked with our time table! They were patient with our crazy family and little kids and captured our wedding and engagement wonderfully! I would recommend them to anyone!! Aside from being amazing photographers, we also feel like we have made new friends!!

You don't just get awesome photographers when you book them (though they are that), you get two people who genuinely care about you as a couple and want to capture all the little moments that are important to you. From the moment I contacted Sara about information she had already done all of her research on my wedding via my Knot page and was able to give me a feel for how she would capture my day best. She and Chris even drove 2 hours out of their way to photograph our engagement pictures where we were actually engaged, and it was her idea! Sara and Chris captured everything in stunning quality and give you back your photos in a timely manner (no six months of waiting for photos). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for photographers!

They captured every aspect of our wedding and looking at all of the pictures is like reliving the entire day. The photos were even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Our families and friends commented how they were capturing every moment during the day. Do not hesitate, we would definitely recommend working with them for your photographs!
