I had my wedding on April 20th 2023 at Sandos Playacar. The resort offered photography services but I decided to look elsewhere and hire a separate vendor for my photography. This was the best decision I ever made. Esthela was absolutely amazing, so professional and talented. She is really lovely to work with and knows how to get the best out of people. My whole family is so awkward at taking photos but she made us all feel so relaxed and helped us with how to pose! I booked Esthela for 10 hours and it was great to have her there for the whole wedding to capture everything. I can't speak highly enough of Esthela and her assistant. Please do yourself the favor and book her right now! -

I sat on the idea of having photos done while in Mexico for weeks. I kept going back and forth, then finally booked it while we were there. Sooooo glad I did. The photos came out FANTASTIC. Our photographer was Eduardo, he was so nice and was willing to try all the photos I had in mind. Very happy and grateful for the whole experience. -

Quinceanera in Playa del Carmen
Santamaria photography captured the most beautiful images on the day of our daughters quinceanera. They were both very attentive and made our 15 year old daughter feel comfortable. They were ablento capture the beauty of the day and event along with the love and support we give our daughter. Thank you, we appreciate all your hard work. We definitely use Santamaria photography again. -

I am so incredibly grateful for these pictures. They are beyond words. They are amazing and beautiful. Our photographer was the absolute best. I love her vision and we had so much fun. She made us laugh and we were so comfortable with her. I would 100% recommend this to everyone going to the area. We haven't had pictures taken together since our wedding day and I am absolutely in love with them. -

Amazing Photographer and Wonderful Experience and photos!
We couldn't have been happier with the service, photos and wonderful photographer (Roberto). Santamaria Photography was very punctual, we communicated through email and we couldn't be happier with our end result. We love our photos! Our experience was 5 STARS and we highly recommend. We are from the USA and were staying at the RIU Palace Resort. We did a beach theme family shoot. Great Job and very reasonably priced. Gracias Isel, Dan and our kids. -

We got married in Mexico in Feb 22. I heard about Santamaria through a Fb group and researched them on wedding wire. I loved how they played with colour in their pictures. It can be a little nerve wrecking trying to book a photographer outside of the US. I knew I didn’t want the resort photographer. I wanted someone talented who would take awesome photos of our 10 year vow renewal. This was my dream to have a beach wedding. While it was just the two of us, Esthela & Arturo were so fun to work with. Very professional, nice and are an amazing team. Our day was absolutely perfect and they captured it so well. Seriously no regrets, all pictures are amazing. Can’t thank them enough! Will be looking to book a family shoot when we go next year with our little children! -

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with how our wedding photos turned out from Santamaria Photographers. Narciso and Arturo were our day-of photography team and WOW did they get EVERY SHOT imaginable for our ceremony and reception! They were also SO fun to work with and made our photoshoot feel very comfortable. Esthela, the owner, was also very communicative and kind. Since we were coming from Miami, we couldn't meet in person beforehand, so we arranged a video call with Narciso and Esthela that really made us feel comfortable with our decision to hire them since we were able to talk through everything we wanted. Their services were also EXTREMELY affordable and of such great quality. I highly recommend Santamaria Photography because you will just be disappointed with anyone else! -

Esthela and Arturo provided excellent service and amazing wedding photography. They were friendly, easy to work with, and I would not hesitate to purchase photography services from them again!
We found Santamaria Photography through the Wedding Wire website. After reading reviews, we decided to reach out in September of 2020. We decided to purchase a premium wedding package for 5 hours of service. We communicated via email to share photography ideas. Payment was processed via Paypal.
On the wedding day (11/5/2021), Esthela and Arturo were nothing short of amazing. They arrived on time at our resort (Hard Rock Riviera Maya), despite traffic accidents, and even stayed late to make our wedding day special. There were so many great moments that they captured!
After they completed their photography services, my wife and I received a sneak preview of edited photos approximately 2 weeks later. About 4-5 weeks later we received a website link with all our photos that we could download or share on social media.
My wife and I thought Santamaria's prices were very affordable and the service was great! We are hoping to use her again when we come back to Cancun, MX for our anniversary! -

Amazing business, amazing value, amazing results!
We were SO impressed with Santamaria Photography! From the responsiveness prior to our arrival, to the actual photo shoot, to the quick return of our amazing pictures, everything was flawless. We paid for 45-60 min of pictures, and were guaranteed at least 60 edited images. After 40 min of pictures, my husband was hot, tired, and over it (think of a restless 4 year old lol) so we told Ricky we were done. We were so surprised to still get OVER 60 AMAZING edited pictures! And soo quickly after our appointment! We will definitely be back for another photo shoot in the future. Amazing people, amazing pics, amazing value. Sooo happy we went with Santamaria Photography! -

SantaMaria Photography was a wife and husband team.
Her communication with me through the whole hiring process was top notch.
The two of them showed up on time and delivered gorgeous photos…. When deciding on a destination wedding photographer reviews are everything and I’m so glad I did the research because I was 100% satisfied with the decision to hire her!!
Her work is light and airy. Delivers gorgeous shots from every angle!! -

Anniversary shoot
I cannot say enough good things about Esthela and Ricky! We booked the Mariposa package ($120 for 1hr and 60 edited images) for an anniversary photo shoot. They were friendly, professional, and so timely with the return of our edited photos! They helped position us for poses which was nice because we can be a bit awkward 😂. I highly recommend them for any photography needs in the Cancun area! -

Amazing photographer!
First of all, it’s so easy to book a photoshoot with Esthela and she was very quick to respond to my questions. My fiancé and I had to reschedule due to double booking (on our end) and then due to the weather - Esthela was very accommodating.
During the photoshoot, she made it so easy and fun for us! I absolutely loved the final results! It was a pleasure working with Esthela and her team. Highly recommend! -

Amazing Photographer!
Santamaria Photography is incredible! We hired her to do our wedding photos at the Grand Riviera Resort in the Mayan (December 2019). She was very responsive and helpful in the booking and organizing process. On the day of the wedding she was on time, professional, and friendly. She worked so hard to get the best photos and make a great experience for us. We received our photos within a few weeks and we were blown away with the quality!! We are so happy and recommend her without hesitation. -

Esthela was a dream to work with. This was our first vacation with our twin boys and we wanted to make sure to capture it. We were running late and on top of that we got stopped by police on our way to our shoot and she was beyond accommodating and made a stressful situation much better! Our 15-month-olds were cranky and fussy throughout but Esthela and her husband were able to work smiles out of them in almost every shot. She took a crowded beach and made it look like we were alone on a private oasis! Basically, Esthela is not only talented, but she's nothing short of magic. We got an entire gallery of stunning pictures in less than 24 hrs that we were able to share and post almost immediately! If you're in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area, as a couple, family, wedding party etc, make sure you book her and have memories for a lifetime ! -

Excellent experience with Maria.
I contact Maria randomly by Instagram. She was available to answer to all my questions and she helped us find the best spot for our photoshoot. Maria is a passionate photographer and you can feel it. She is so attentive to the details and she will tell you what to do, just trust her. We were so happy with the pictures, she did a great job. Moreover she took less than 1 day to sent us the pictures. I highly recommend her. -
