Sandy was absolutely exceptional to work with. She did hair and makeup for myself and 4 bridesmaids. She took time with every bridesmaid to make sure she understood their vision and executed it well. We hired Sandy’s team for wedding hair and makeup on August 9, 2025, and they were incredible! Sandy was patient, accommodating, and so easy to communicate with. Her team—Lilianne (makeup) and Kasen (hair)—drove over an hour for an early start, and they were not only talented but also so sweet. Kasen even fit in a last-minute hairstyle with enthusiasm, which helped so much. I was blown away by my “messy but cute updo”—it made me feel confident and beautiful all day. We would 100% recommend Sandy and her amazing team!

Sandy was so sweet and positive! I was very indecisive about my hair and I was never giving her any direction or help with what I actually wanted. She spent a lot of time with me and showed that she cared about me being happy with the look. I also don’t wear any face makeup so any amount of foundation felt like too much for me. Sandy was able to work with me and adjust to a perfect blend of makeup for the cameras while still looking like me. My husband said the hair and makeup both looked really good! She and her associate Elizabeth did a total of 9 hair and 9 makeup services on the morning of the wedding which was A LOT. They also allowed us to take a break to get some of the classic getting ready photos I wanted, even though we were already behind schedule. Somehow they made up time though! Sandy told me it always works out, and she was right. -

Hiring Sandy and her team to provide hair and make-up services for my bridesmaids was one of the best choices I made in wedding planning. She was very responsive, listened to what I and my other bridesmaids/flower girl wanted, and executed hair and make-up services on time. She was easy to work with and service prices were transparent. She and her team treated us all with great respect, even one of my bridesmaids who identifies as transgender. I cannot recommend Sandy and her team enough! -

Sandy is INCREDIBLE! A last minute emergency left her doing services for my bridal party alone. But Sandy had a plan, and she was able to make everyone look and feel beautiful with time to spare for touch ups! She was SO fast but we never felt like she was rushing, everyone looked perfect and she listened to what everyone wanted and gave suggestions to help amp up everyone's looks. She did amazing work and I am so incredibly glad she was our hair and makeup person! -

Sandy was wonderful to work with! I never do my hair and rarely wear makeup in everyday life so I came to Sandy with a bunch of Pinterest pictures at the trial. Although my bridal party did not have a trial, their looks reflected their Pinterest boards as well :) During the trial we were able to chat and get to know one another so it helped to have that connection when on the day of we did not have to talk much and she still was able to get exactly what I wanted. Sandy and her team did an amazing job with wedding hair for me and my bridesmaids! Sandy was extremely responsive and was able to fit me into a busy 2021 schedule with short notice. KaSen did such a wonderful job with all of our hair - making little tweaks that I requested after the hair trial, accommodating everyone's preferences, and fixing any stray curls before she left. Above Expectations

I spent hours looking for the right makeup artist and hairstylist for my wedding. Thankfully, I happened upon Sandy Xiong Beauty and fell in love with the glamorous looks in the portfolio pictures. Not to mention, their services are very fair priced after searching around.

I would highly recommend Sandy for your hair needs. I only hired her for hair styling on my wedding day, but she was so amazing! She works so fast, and the results are amazing. One of my bridesmaids even called her a hair magician! Plus, the hairstyles lasted basically all day - even for my junior bridesmaid who is 6 years old! She offers such incredible services for hair - I would highly recommend her! -

I appreciated how well she communicated with me regarding scheduling my hair/makeup trial, where/when to be on the day of the wedding and what specific costs were remaining. Fabulous Experience
Sandy was incredible and she did an amazing job at my wedding! She is super professional, easygoing and patient. Most importantly, she is a good listener and takes care of every specific requirement I have asked for. I would like to give her "Six Star of Responsiveness" in review (if I can)
I did a couple of bridal makeup trials from other makeup artists, even though they are very professional and highly paid, but it was hard for me to find THE ONE. Until I met Sandy. I told her my request such as, which area I like to be highlighted, which area I would like to hide a little bit, take care of my super dry and sensitive skin, etc. Be honest, I have tons of opinion of my own face and she applied them with her professionalism. Then I had a perfect look at my wedding, it was exactly the makeup style I would love to have! Thank you sooo much, Sandy! -

Portfolio
Sandy Xiong Beauty's portfolio showed a wide range of beautifully done hair and makeup styles, which stood out to me since many other vendors only showcased a few looks, mostly reflecting current trends. I was worried those other vendors wouldn't be able to deliver anything outside their usual styles. Sandy Xiong Beauty's versatility gave me confidence they could achieve the look I wanted.
Vendor Comparison
I compared 11 wedding beauty vendors and found that Sandy Xiong Beauty had the most competitive pricing across nearly every category, including the full cost of my bridal beauty (hair and makeup) and the costs for my attendants. They offer clear, competitive pricing that’s easy to understand and calculate independently. It didn’t take me long to realize Sandy Xiong Beauty offered the best value within my budget.
Constructive Feedback
The only area for improvement is email response time. Before booking, I sometimes waited anxiously for replies to my questions near the quote deadline. After booking and connecting with my day-of artists, communication was smooth and timely.
Bridal Trial
During my trial, KaSen accommodated time for two different hair styles because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told Kong I’d never liked my makeup done by anyone else before, and she completely blew me away with her work. The trial was fun, and at the end I felt beautiful while still looking like myself. My hair and makeup after the trial lasted over 10 hours (and through a nap) with only minor touch-ups. My artists encouraged me to take notes after and welcomed feedback, which was very helpful on the big day.
Wedding Day!
On my wedding day, Kong and KaSen came prepared with my trial photos to reference. Kong told me I took really good notes, which made it easy for her to tweak my look exactly how I wanted. As my beauty prep was wrapping up and the ceremony drew near, KaSen noticed my nerves and took a moment to reassure me -- I really appreciated her kindness.
My lipstick wore off quickly, which I expected & failed to prepare for -- I had planned to get the same lipstick Kong used for touchups throughout the day but failed to do (wish I would've! I recommend this tip for other brides). My eye makeup lasted through all the tears without any issues. Even though I knew my down hairstyle would eventually get knotty, I felt like Rapunzel & my half-up hair stayed full all day. I lost a few pieces of tinsel throughout the day but not a single bobby pin. Kong & KaSen's attention to detail and care made all the difference in making me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day.

Sandy and her team are magicians! I originally chose Sandy because I wanted a team that could do both services and was well versed in different skin tones and Western/Eastern style make up. We paid for a bridal hair/make up trial, wedding day bridal hair/make up, and 5 wedding party hair and make up as well. I used the bridal hair/make up trial for a photoshoot and I walked out of the appointment feeling beautiful but unsure of how everything would photograph. Well to no surprise, I looked flawless and Sandy was able to bring out a beauty in me that I didn't know existed. I was confident in her abilities on wedding day but to see her and her assistant's work on wedding seemed like magic. She made my bridesmaids and mothers look like royalty and all of our hair/make up lasted 10 hours+ in 100 degree summer weather! Her team was able to gauge each person's comfort level on the amount of make up each was comfortable with. They also did wonders with hair all of types, fine or thick, blonde or dark, it did not matter. I'm an emotional bride so of course I started crying (of happiness) an hour after having my service done during my first look, but my make up didn't even budge. I think the photos talk for themselves. I would recommend Sandy and her team over and over again! -

Highly recommend a trial before your big day so you can see how the hair style/makeup last and make notes of any changes you want on your wedding day. Just because the hair looks great on a model or someone else doesn't mean it looks the same on you because we all have different hair shape and texture/thickness. I did my trail the same day as my bridal shower. I initially chose a particular style and makeup for the trail, and realized it wasn't for me even though it looked great. I also noticed some things about my makeup that I didn't like or last so I noted those to share with Sandy, who was very receptive. By our wedding day I found a look I really wanted, which was drastically different from my trail, and Sandy adjusted easily and captured exactly the ethereal look I was going for! I got so many compliments! Sandy even stayed later the day of the wedding to help really get my look just right, which was greatly appreciated!

She did my trial run first, which I used for my engagement photos and I was SO happy with how my hair and make-up looked in my engagement photos! Then she did my Tea Ceremony hair and make-up and it was again absolutely beautiful. She really listened to what I was envisioning for my look and make it come to life! It was important for me to find someone who was versatile in doing make-up on different ethnicities and skin types and Sandy was the right choice. The only thing that was a touch unfortunate was that my hair didn't look as good as the trial run since I wanted the romantic look and I felt my curls were too tight and my look was too glam. But overall, Sandy is amazing, very responsive to e-mails and texts and she is professional yet personable to make you feel at ease on such an important day!

Sandy herself was a delight to work with. She's very happy and joyful, and she's very knowledgeable about hair and make up. I had had a few issues with communication earlier on in the process, which made me a bit nervous. I stuck with Sandy Xiong Beauty because the prices were so reasonable in comparison to other vendors and the work looked beautiful. Sometimes their emails weren't coming back to me, and I asked for a phone number a few different times but never got one, which frustrated me. I felt really good after the hair trial because I got to meet Sandy and felt like we had a good plan for the wedding day. The wedding day went well for the most part. Sandy planned for a second artist to come help her with makeup since only two people wanted make up. That person didn't show, so Sandy punted as best as she could by having her husband bring her make up supplies. One of my people didn't get to have her make up get done unfortunately. Everyone was very happy with their hair, and everyone looked beautiful. I also really appreciated Sandy's positivity and great energy she brought to the bridal suite. It was a stressful day, and she helped make the atmosphere more fun and relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Sandy and her beauty team on my wedding day. There were some hiccups in terms of figuring out timing and staffing due to some last-minute changes on my end, but Sandy was super flexible and reassuring during that time. Hair and makeup was incredibly stress-free and fun, her and her staff were so cute and friendly, and our makeup and hair looked absolutely stunning (on all of us!). Sometimes emails were not responded to right away, but I'll admit I was kindof a needy bride in that regard lol. I highly recommend Sandy!! -
