I searched a lot to have our destination wedding in Cancun. There were lots of options and different packages in Cancun hotels. But after reading the reviews about Sandos Hotel about their professionalism, cleanliness, accommodation, and the food quality, We chose Sandos hotel for our big day and We are glad with our decision. Everything went smoothly and as it was planned. My wedding coordinator, Juliana, went above and beyond working with us and made sure that all things would be perfect. She was really helpful and friendly, and she responded to my emails and questions very quickly. The wedding arrangement were all good. Also the hotel staff are really polite and helpful.
I cannot thank them enough for all they did for us and for our guests. We all experienced a good vacation stay at Sandos Hotel.

Our wedding turned out to be everything we wanted it to be and more! We originally booked a Spring 2021 wedding. However, due to Covid-19, we changed it to Spring 2022! The venue was super accommodating. Nely was our wedding planner and she did an amazing job! I was slightly nervous because a lot of our communication was via email but she really helped us along the way.
All of our pictures came out great and our food was cooked perfectly! This place is also super LGBT+ friendly, the staff was super friendly to all of our guests during the entire trip! -

Our wedding was absolutely perfect. We had a small hiccup during our planning stage when they change from a family friendly resort to an adult only, but we were able to make it work and I think everyone was more relaxed without their kids anyways :p. Nely was our wedding coordinator and she made everything so simple. She was very responsive and was able to answer all of my questions and coordinate the week exactly as I imagined. The week of we met with her for our tasting and went through our day detail by detail to make sure everything was perfect. She was so helpful in coordinating a private rehearsal dinner for our guests, arranging a birthday surprise for one of our guests, and even sending us a sample of our wedding cake prior to the day. We got the Seaside Bliss package that included so many things and there were an endless number of add-ons that we were able to choose from.
We had our ceremony and reception on the terrace, and it was a perfect atmosphere for both. We were worried about the weather being too hot in May but the constant breeze, although it didn't help with candles, it kept everyone comfortable. The staff throughout the day were professional and fun, everyone had a great time interacting with our servers and bartenders. We got the party package which was the highlight of the reception, it kept everyone on the dance floor and entertained the whole night!
Our guests had a fabulous time for their entire stay. They had activities and parties at the bottom pool or a quieter pool up top. We bounced between the three pools and had a great time each day. The servers by the pool were very attentive, we even had one bring us drinks on the beach!
Overall, I would pick this resort again in a heartbeat. We could not of have a better experience or a beautiful wedding! -

Some of the guests have been to a couple destination weddings and they said this was a top resort with the service and the water being so blue! We stayed from friday 3/30 to wed 4/4. Every day was a party! Sandos really catered to me, my bride and all our guest. At one point I lost my phone and it was at the lost and found the next day! AMAZING STAFF! Everything was absolutely perfect. Even booking all the rooms and transportation with Olivia Ortiz was so smooth. She responded quickly and accommodated to our changes as we needed them!
Kiani was our MVP! She was our wedding coordinator was so easy to talk to. You can tell she was a pro and loved what she does. She just had a personal touch about her, she was like a great friend helping through our stressful day! She will contact you a month before the wedding, but when she does be ready and know what you want! The planning went so smooth! It was the best experience we could ask for!
We used there transportation that they suggested Seek and Go. I read reviews and it said it wasn't great in the past. I talked with Olivia, she assured that they switched management and she vouched for them. I trusted her and they were great! No problems with Seek and Go!
If you are planning a destination wedding in Cancun, you should have it here!!! -

Nely, Carlos, and the resort staff went above and beyond for our wedding. Our ceremony took place in the penthouse and it looked absolutely amazing with a picturesque backdrop of the water, and an elegantly constructed arch that composed of wood beams, soft white draped curtains, and beautiful flowers. We then had our reception at the rooftop terrace. Everything was spaced out perfectly for our guests and allowed for a generous dance floor. Appetizers, although we were unable to try, we were told were amazing by our guests. Our meal was cooked to perfection with a great amount of flavor. Our package came with a three tiered cake which was absolutely divine and allowed for our guests to have multiple servings if they wished. We also opted to get a dessert table which allowed for some different sweet options for our guests. Sandos allowed for myself, and my now husband, to taste test prior to selecting the meal and desserts for our guests. Throughout our stay they went above and beyond for us making sure we had reservations and restaurants for our whole wedding group and upgraded our room. We could not be happier with our choice of picking Sandos and we would highly suggest to any couple looking to get married, to say “I Do,” at Sandos Cancun. -

From the beginning of our wedding planning experience, Sandos Cancun exceeded our expectations. Very quick in responses, and attentive to any questions we had, in the early stages of booking and planning. Once our wedding coordinator, Nely, was assigned to us, she hit the ground running with every detail, she was great at communicating in a timely manner, and meeting each one of our requests during the wedding planning process.
I really dislike planning events, and she made the wedding planning process super smooth sailing. Once we arrived at the resort for our wedding week, it was as if we had known Nely in person the entire time we had been communicating back and forth with all things wedding. She was attentive the entire wedding day with any of our needs. As far as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, she went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. It was seriously the most perfect day! We are so thankful and appreciative of all the hard work, and attentiveness that was put into our special day. We will 1,000% recommend Sandos Cancun to anyone who asks. Thank you a million times for everything Nely, and Sandos Cancun!!!! -

I had such an incredible experience having my destination wedding in this venue. For starters the venue is gorgeous. The look matched the esthetic I was going for perfectly. The process at first was scary to be so far, but the second Nely, the wedding coordinator, reached out I felt so much ease. She handles absolutely everything. I simply sent her my vision and with out any stress she completely made it come to life for me. Everything was even more beautiful than I could’ve ever dreamed of or imagined. The service the entire weekend was incredible. The took care of us and made us feel so special even on the days that wasn’t the wedding. We had such an amazing time at our wedding I truly wish we could relive it every single day. 10/10 highly recommended this venue and their incredible wedding team! -

Our wedding at Sandos was an absolute DREAM. Like many others have written in the reviews, Nely was an integral part of our amazing experience. She's been with Sandos for over 6 years and has perfected the art of coordinating weddings at this location. We were so impressed how responsive and professional she was, from start to finish. It would be impossible to have such a seamless, stress-free (and affordable) wedding in the states - especially with everything that the Sandos wedding packages provide. Anything you may need, they got it: flowers, tables, chairs, linens, DJ, cake, dinner, open bar, extra entertainment, and more! If you want to customize? Just let Nely know and she'll make it happen.
Every bride's nightmare is that it rains on her wedding day, especially when you plan on having everything 100% outdoors. This was the case for me but Nely assured me that we'd still make it a beautiful time indoors. She was right and saved me from an epic meltdown. We ended up having our ceremony in Seasons restaurant, the cocktail hour at Frattini's, and the reception was in the downstairs ballroom.
And it wasn't just the day itself that was amazing! Our guests had a fabulous time for their entire stay, whether it was 3 days or 10 days. The entertainment staff works incredibly hard to make it a PARTY every day. Not your thing? That's ok - there are more "quiet" pools and the spa was lovely for a massage or hydro therapy. There's truly something for everyone. Another special thing about Sandos - it is a smaller resort (only 213 rooms) so if you want your guests to hang out and see each other often, the set up of the resort makes it easy to do that. -

I recently had my wedding on February 23, 2019 at Sandos Cancun Lifestyle Resort and our experience was nothing but amazing! The hotel manager, Benjamin and our Wedding Coordinator, Diana were extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive. This boutique style, all-inclusive resort was perfect for our 50 guests and everyone has an absolute BLAST! From the Thursday happy hour, Friday Rehearsal Dinner at St. Trop by the beautiful ocean to our wedding on the terrace, everything was more than we ever expected. I highly recommend this resort, especially if you are planning a wedding and would like a terrace as your venue. -

Emily Sent on 03/11/2018We got married here on March 3rd and it was an amazing trip. We had 40 people coming to the wedding and it was a small enough resort that we could always find each other. The food options were all great and very available. Our wedding coordinator was Kiani and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. She came in late due to unforeseen circumstances and was a rockstar from the first second. She put our minds at ease and took care of any concern we had before we knew what that concern was. She returned our emails very quickly and was very responsive. We would highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator for any wedding getting planned at the Sandos resorts.
All of our guests loved the resort as well and continue to talk about it. They were all taken care of extremely well and treated with great respect, as we imagine every guest of the resort is. -

Beautiful wedding day
Our wedding weekend was simply amazing. From the first day we arrived at the resort Juliana our coordinator was so accommodating to every need not only for us but our family and friends. She is awesome! Our wedding day was so special each detail exceeded our expectations. Our minister spoke beautiful words of wisdom for our union. We were pleased. I’m wishing that weekend could be relived because we truly enjoyed ourselves and the amazing service received at Sandos Resort! Juliana thank you so much for such a beautiful weekend! -

Let me start by saying that if you find yourself having questions about what I did or had at my wedding, or any questions in general you can send me a DM on my IG @eimaj.ination and I will happily share with you pictures, and any details!
This process had me a little nervous at first, it was scary not knowing exactly what to expect, because it is a destination wedding. BUT like the others have said, they will reach out around 3 months before! And they get it done!
Nely was the absolute best, from the moment she reached out, she was on it. I would email her and she would respond for the most part, within the hour.
Our wedding was in March 2024, we were worried that we would get rain, but Nely had a back up just incase.
We had our Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail hour and Reception on the Terrace. My worry was that the space would be too big for the small amount of people we had. But everything was spaced out so perfect that it didn't even feel like there was empty space.
Nely was able to accommodate so much. She Reserved a whole restaurant for our Welcome dinner we wanted with our guests (No charge!). They were amazing. Shots all around and a 3 course fixed meal.
Surprisingly, I feel like the Sandos IG and website do not do a great way of advertising how much fun they have to offer. We were expecting the hotel to be kinda more of a relax resort. That was not the case, they had dance clubs at the lower level inside, mexican buffet/ show, and a casino night. It was alot of fun for our guests.
For the wedding, we had ALOT of entertainment during the reception. First, at the cocktail hour we had a 6 person mariachi, mind you they only charged us for a 3 person. We had a party pack with Fire Dancers, Dance girls to get the party started, 2 stilt walkers (one pouring shots down our throats, and the other playing a drumb), we also had some samba dancers, and water drums. Lets just say no one was ever sitting down.
Overall, this was the greatest experience ever. Our wedding was in March 2024, and I still have people bringing up our wedding in July.

Something like this would have costed us over 50k+ in the states. lets just say after the discount we got for having a guest total of 100+ nights what we paid was way less than half of what it would have been in the states. -

I had the most amazing wedding thanks to Nely. She is very professional, organized, talented, and a pleasure to work with. Everything went so smoothly before, during, and after the wedding. My guests are still talking about how beautiful and organized it was. One of my cousins is even considering having her wedding at Sandos Cancun. I’m beyond grateful to Nely for making the most important day of my life so stress free and making it so special. -

First of all let me say that I had the perfect dream wedding and I thank the wedding coordinator, Nely for making everything possible!
I started off looking at all the hotels in the Cancun area, and Sandos Cancun was one of the few who could accommodate our large party. We made our wedding website through Minted, but also hotel accommodations through Destify, which made everything easy for our guests. They were able to book through Destify, but also were able to book through third party websites or through the Sandos Cancun website if they wanted. In the end, we just needed their booking number. I really like how Sandos only does 1 wedding a day because they were able to focus on just us and our party the whole weekend of Friday and Saturday.
My husband and I did travel to Sandos Cancun in November 2021, to look at everything at the resort. Nely actually greeted us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our suite, and upgraded (our parents room, but meant to upgrade our rooms), but it was a great experience. We did our menu tasting there and were able to see the Rooftop Terrace and the Ballroom that was getting remodeled. I will say, comparing our first trip to our wedding trip, the food was slightly better during the first trip, but during our wedding trip because we were so busy, we ordered room service most of the time and it was still very good!
I only had a few guests that were staying off site - either you or the guest can pay for their pass. This appeared easy, I didn’t run into any issues for their daypasses. Everyone else seemed to have an easy time checking in and out. The hotel did get booked out to capacity, but I think most of them were our guests!
We also were able to have a rehearsal dinner at Frattini’s for 60 people, and Nely was able to provide a set menu for us, as well as a speaker and microphone. I gave her place cards and a seating chart and everything was as planned! She let us have a rehearsal right before the dinner to make sure we all knew where to go (with the sound system!), so I’m glad that we were able to do that! She was so accommodating!
Our wedding was July 30, 2022 and we purchased the Seaside Bliss wedding package. We had a total of 137 adults, 3 children (2-12 years old), and 3 children under 2 years old (did not get charged). We had our ceremony on the Rooftop. It was beautiful, but sadly it started to rain after that so we weren’t able to get many pictures with our flower canopy that we paid for - the canopy was later moved to decorate right in front of our sweetheart table on the floor, so at least we could take pictures in front of it. And our cocktail hour had to be moved inside, which was not really an issue. Our reception was in the Ballroom which turned out beautifully! We did pay extra for string lights and tulle, but it turned out gorgeous so I’m glad we did!
As far as vendors, I did pay a $500 fee for an external vendor of a videographer. But Nely only charged me for the day of the wedding (it’s normally per day), and the videographer did come the day before because we had a traditional Chinese Tea ceremony the morning before. Nely was amazing because she let us use the Season’s restaurant for 2 hours (I believe this is during the time where the restaurant is not open), with no fee for our Tea Ceremony, and even provided chairs, side tables, speakers and a microphone for us at no extra cost. Oh she also provided me with extra flower petals for the petal toss after the wedding ceremony for no extra cost. She was the best!!!
One downside, we weren’t able to transfer any services to family members - my friend was doing my hair and make up, and unfortunately I lost out on the hair and make up that was included in our package, but this was my decision. We did get a room upgrade (WHICH WAS AMAZING, THANK YOU NELY) and a couples massage the day after our wedding. All we needed to do was make a reservation. We booked the Laguna Suite and were upgraded to the Presidential Suite! It was SO BEAUTIFUL and perfect for getting ready - I had a large bridal party of 9 bridesmaids. I think we were also supposed to have a special dinner included, but honestly I think we forgot about it so that was our fault. She did let us exchange the bouquet and boutonniere for a centerpiece (I opted to bring my own bouquets and boutonnieres! So I was very grateful for the exchange in centerpieces.) She also let us have the mixer/blender down in the Ballroom which is normally not provided.
For food - appetizers we chose: mini seafood ceviche served on a spoon; Smoked salmon roll, goat cheese, pesto; Carpaccio of Ahi tuna on oriental cucumber salad; and napoleon of lobster and mango. We were so busy, so my husband didn’t get to try any. I do wish that they would have saved him a plate! I was a little disappointed in the food because during our menu tasting, I tried a fabulous roasted saltillo-style (similar to a twice baked potato) and during the reception, it was just a plain potato. So I was a little sad! We had a beautiful dessert table (which I was also very busy that I didn’t get to try), we had the traditional panna cotta, tiramisu, chocolate and raspberry mousse, and creme brulee, and cheesecake for gluten free option; but the creme brulee was not brought out or told to me that they didn’t have it. That was also sad because I made a graphic menu that had all the desserts on it. I will say the cake was delicious, we got vanilla with strawberry filling. It was beautiful! But I only got a bite, I also wish they saved me a piece! Haha but initially it was $10 a person and I believe she only charged me for half. She even upgraded our cake. It turned out beautiful!
Nely was great about letting me personalize everything which was very important to me! I was able to bring my own cake toppers; bouquets and boutonnieres, welcome signs; centerpieces (vases and we used the bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces); bring my own cocktail cups; party favors (foam sticks, cowboy hats, leis, light up bow ties); picture frames; table numbers, guestbook + big cardboard cut-out heads of my dogs for the photo booth and video booth that we rented. They let me design the vinyl for our dance floor (which I feel like the dance floor is needed if you have a large party because otherwise you’re dancing on the carpet!); the photo booth vendor that works with the resort is Romanza, and they let me design my own photo booth template, as well as pick the music and design the template for the video booth! Everything that I brought for the wedding, I was able to give to Nely days before and she had it all ready for the wedding and it all looked beautiful! She made sure everything went smoothly and for that I am so grateful! I was able to make my own detailed timeline and documents for her and she followed it pretty exact! If you are not particular, then I think of course things will run smoothly, but if you are specific (like me haha) - you don’t have anything to worry about because Nely pretty much executed every tiny detail that I wanted!
The DJ was able to play all the music that we wanted for our grand entrances and throughout the night they just followed a playlist of music that I created for them. The cold sparklers that we had, didn’t go off at the right time during our first dance, but that wasn’t too big of a deal. They came on during the perfect time during our entrance so it was very pretty!
I had 2 outfit changes during the reception; so once I changed out of my wedding dress into a Vietnamese traditional ao dai, and then my ao dai into my reception dress. They don’t have a bridal suite, but we were able to give my outfits to Nely, and she kept them in her office and was able to get them for me to change into the bathroom. My bridesmaids kept a bag of my things/shoes, etc. so it was very easy for me, since Nely had it all ready - and my husband’s change of clothes as well, so I would just keep that in mind. That you can give your things to Nely or just go change in your room (we chose to give it to Nely since we didn’t want to waste time going upstairs.)
After the wedding, I made a list of things that I wanted back and she was able to make sure we got everything back! Nely truly was a gem! She answered all my questions (and I had a lot), but did so with patience and everything was honestly so perfect because of her (she even helped with little things like fixing my train and veil, she truly went above and beyond!)! I had good communication with her a few months out, but 1-2 months before the wedding, she was super quick and responsive! I was even able to text her a couple weeks out for even faster responses! She paid so much attention to all my details and I am so glad that I had her to handle everything. I seriously had the best weekend ever and I really wish that I could go back and do it all over again, but only because I had Nely and the Sandos Cancun team to make everything a dream come true!
My husband and I really want to come back and have a vow renewal because of how amazing Nely was! Despite the rain, everything was beautiful and we had the wedding of my dreams! -

I recommend Sandos Cancun Resort
Sandos Cancun resort was the perfect option for our destination wedding. We stayed one week with our family and friends and had a great time. The resort has several accommodations to offer. My hair/makeup was included in the package we chose as well as a complimentary couples massage, breakfast in bed and steaming services for my husband and I’s wedding attire. My stylist (Jessica) made me feel comfortable and made me feel beautiful on our special day. We had trouble trying to figure out getting a photographer before we arrived and two days before the wedding, the resort helped us find the best one! Nelly and Jaz were extremely helpful with planning and organizing our wedding. Nelly kept in contact with me the whole time we were there to make sure everything was set in place. We did the seaside bliss package. I would 100% recommend Sandos Cancun Resort. -

My husband and I had the most perfect and dreamy wedding at Sandos Cancun! Thank you endlessly to Nely and her team for all of their hard work to make sure everything was perfect from beginning to the end. From communicating with her throughout the planning process and to the very end of our stay at Sandos Cancun, Nely has been such a great coordinator to work with. She made sure that no one from our guest list or myself, my husband, or our families had to worry about anything related to the wedding! From the decorations to the flowers to the hair and makeup and even the weather-related moving of venues for our cocktail hour and reception, every moving piece was accounted for and everything went so seamlessly. EVERY GUEST could not stop saying great things about the resort, the food, the staff, the wedding,.. everything! I now tell everyone to consider having a destination wedding and doing it at Sandos Cancun!! -

NELY, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. She helped us plan our wedding in literally 2 months. There was no task she could not complete when we asked it of her. It was great to have someone pay so much attention to detail on our big day and we would have been lost without her. Nely made sure to have a back up plan in case of bad weather for the reception (which we ended up using because it was the end of hurricane season) but it was still beautiful. We ended up having our ceremony outside on the Terrace which has great background views of the sand and ocean for pictures, and then the reception was in the Seasons restaurant. It fit our group of around 30 people perfectly but it could easily fit 50-60 people.
We were able to meet with Nely quite a few times when we arrived at Sandos in preparation for the wedding and that made us feel much more comfortable about the whole process. I hope Sandos keeps Nely as a wedding coordinator for a very long time because she is the real deal!
Their in house photography group (Romanza) was pretty great as well. We paid for 8 hours continuous coverage with photo and video (I think 5 people total) and the only thing I would say is I wish we had one of them for the last hour of the reception because that's when us and our guests let loose and it would have been nice to capture the end of the evening. The photo booth we paid for was AMAZING, such good quality pictures and the attendants running it were so funny and helpful.
We had a great 8 days at the resort, and upgrading to the presidential suite for the wedding weekend was the best because it was a good place for wedding guests to visit and hang out. Also getting ready for the bridal party was easy in that big of a space.
They have entertainment most nights and the switch up the themes so your guests have something to do in the evenings. All of the staff and bar tenders are so cool, they were on top of their game all week.
I'd definitely recommend Sandos and specifically Nely for your Mexico wedding in the future. -

Wedding at Sandos Cancun
We got married February 2020 at Sandos Cancun. We were so happy with the way our wedding turned out at Sandos and all of our guests gave us many compliments. The food, decorations and staff were great! We loved working with the onsite coordinator Juliana. She was responsive with emails leading up to when our wedding was and onsite was so helpful, friendly, and worked so hard with us to make it how we wanted it to look and play out! -

We had a dream wedding in Sandos Cancun, with an amazing view from the Martiniere Terrace, with an exceptional set up inside for dinner and evening venue, wonderful service from the kitchen staff, the waiters, the management in general and of course the wedding coordinator. She achieved to set our dream wedding up in less than two months, amazed us with details we were not even expecting or requesting and we had an unforgettable day in Sandos Cancun. Dreams come true
I had began planning my wedding before COVID hit but with all the restrictions during the shutdown, it led to me booking this place sight unseen. This honestly made me anxious but Juliana (sandos wedding coordinator) made this a breeze. Her communication was always timely and she answered all my questions and more. All of the staff are super polite and make you feel like you’re family. The whole experience was better than I could have ever imagined. Juliana and her team are godsends and they will make your dream wedding come to life. They have multiple venues to choose from but the rooftop over looking the water stole my heart! They only have one wedding a day so you know that the staff is splitting their attention and you are their priority. I highly recommend having your wedding here! We will be returning to celebrate an anniversary and to see the staff again because of how great of an experience we had. -

Excellence!
Absolutely amazing experience! Sandos Cancun made us feel like royalty!!! They were attentive to our every desire. They upgraded our room to their honeymoon suite upon arrival, fed us breakfast in bed supplied unlimited champagne and were quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay. My family and guests were also thrilled with the experience! We plan to return annually to live out our dreamy experience! Most magical week of our life!
Our week at Sandos Cancun was the best week of our lives! We decided to get married at Sandos Cancun and it was the best decision we made. Nely, the wedding coordinator, is the best wedding coordinator ever. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and in my opinion, she is better than the wedding coordinators back in the states. Every detail was done perfectly. The day itself was amazing. We had 100 guests and so many of them said it was the best wedding they’ve been to and are wanting us to already do a vow renewal at Sandos Cancun in 5 years because they cannot wait to go back. The other staff was amazing as well. We also did welcome drinks at Bar One and rehearsal dinner at Bar Two and both events were also perfect and so much fun. The best part is the hotel is the perfect size so you keep running into your guests all week and everyone hangs in the same area. Our week was so magical, if you’re thinking about doing a destination wedding at Sandos Cancun, don’t even think twice, just do it! -

Amazing, Wedding
First of all, my Wife and I want to thank Nelly and Carlos most of all. Not only did they make us feel on top of the world during our stay, but they went out of their way to make the entire experience as stress free as possible. Any issue that popped up, they addressed it in minutes. We actually chose Sandos because of their organization and responsiveness and it shone throughout the whole process.
Anyone debating whether or not to do a destination wedding, we emphatically implore you to do so. Not only does the all inclusive hotel provide a fantastic setting to spend time with your guests (not to mention allow the wedding party to mingle), but the whole experience that Sandos Cancun provides is as stress free as it could be. No messing with coordinating vendors, caterers, and décor. Nely takes care of it all, provides you all the options, and is willing to work with anything you have in mind to make a personalized wedding. We showed up to our wedding and everything was perfect. It was on their rooftop terrace, with the deep blue ocean as the backdrop. We had about 70 guests, and everyone agreed it was one of the funnest weddings they've been to. We also had our reception in the Salon (banquet hall). The food was exquisite, and the DJ was very, very good. And if you have any music restrictions (things not to play), the DJ follows those rules (sorry to all the guests who wanted country music). We also had the Mariachi band, which honestly was a great addition to our reception. And during this whole experience, Nely and her team are quietly addressing and hiccups that occur along the way to make sure you nor your guests realize anything is going wrong. We can honestly say this was the best wedding we've ever been to, and that's great because it happened to be our wedding. We can't recommend Sandos Cancun enough for anyone looking to have their wedding in Cancun. -

We had our wedding in April and everything was wonderful! The package we chose came with everything you could need for the event. We added a few touches from the add-on options. The decor was stunning. Nely and her team did an excellent job with the set up. We curated our own playlists for the DJ and the music played was perfect. I highly recommend Sandos Cancun if you are planning to do a destination wedding with inclusive packages. It takes a lot of stress out of the planning process. Save your favorite wedding inspiration photos and Nely & team will make sure it happens just as perfect as the photos! -

It was amazing!
First of all Nely is amazing. She is so good and really cares about you! We had some scares with the rain but Nely was there for us the whole time and had backup plans. Luckily we were still able to have our ceremony outside (on the terrace) and it was incredible. We had to have our reception in the ballroom because it was pretty windy and chances of rain but they made it look so so beautiful, we were blown away!
The rehearsal dinner was also inside due to wind which was a really good call. We had it at one of the restaurants on property and Nely made it look so good!
The resort is also very nice and the staff are all so friendly. Everything exceeded our expectations and we are so happy! -

My husband and I had originally booked a group wedding at Sandos Cancún, however our guests were apprehensive to travel due to covid, so we unfortunately could not host a larger event. Juliana, the wedding coordinator, was extremely flexible and understanding, she easily adjusted our plans so the two of us could still enjoy our dream beach wedding. From the second we arrived, Sandos had little surprises planned for us as the wedding couple and all of the staff knew who we were and truly made us feel so welcomed. We had the most special day, it was absolutely gorgeous, between the weather, the champagne, the roses/chocolate surprises, and the customer service from the entire staff, we could not say enough in this review to appreciate them all!!! Even though it wasn’t the big party we had originally planned, the smaller intimate ceremony was everything we had hoped for and more! Thank you Juliana for everything!!! -

My husband and I have been together for 14 years and engaged for nearly 6 of those. We are definitely the worst type of planners :-). Our experience with Nely from Sandos Cancun was fantastic. Being very unsure of all the details, we were so blessed to work with her and her team at Sandos Cancun to plan our wedding week and ceremony.
From decor, arrangements, food selection, and more, the stress of planning was completely off our shoulders. When stressful moments would arise, it only took a quick message to Nely and her team to find a quick resolution. Our guests, as well as other hotel guests who happened to catch glimpses of our ceremony, absolutely enjoyed their time. For days afterwards, we were constantly complimented by complete strangers and hotel employees on how beautiful our ceremony was.
We definitely recommend the resort for anyone planning a small to medium sized wedding. It created a very intimate environment for us throughout the week that we will forever cherish.

Nely helped coordinate my wedding and saw my vision. Onsite she was always available for any questions and helped alleviate my stress on the days leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding and during Nely was very attentive and took all stress off my plate so I could enjoy my day and my guests. We got married right on the beach which made a perfect backdrop. Dream Destination Wedding
We got married on Saturday May 4th, 2019 at Sandos Cancun Rooftop Terrace and it was an absolute DREAM! We feel truly lucky and blessed to have had our big day at Sandos because they did EVERYTHING right! From the big to small details during wedding week, to our big day, the wedding team was on top of it. We had 90 guest at our wedding which is a big number for a destination wedding and they all loved the resort and our wedding. One of the main reasons we chose Sandos was because they had the rooftop terrace with the ocean view. Our wedding coordinator Ayde Cortez was so helpful, experienced, with excellent customer service and truly understood our vision. She was so passionate and attentive about helping us get what we wanted and impressed us with her dedication. We are so thankful we had Ayde as our coordinator and would choose her again if we could. You are in good hands if she’s your coordinator. The planning process was smooth and easy for us because the resort provides all the vendors needed and all you have to do is pick and choose from their packages. We did upgrade our package on a few things and it worked out for the best. Here are a few details from our wedding: We chose the Italian style buffet which everyone loved. Our flowers were fresh and upgraded. The photographer and videographer were our family and friends. We had our ceremony and reception at the same rooftop terrace but had our cocktail hour at Bar Two. The DJ was so good and played everything we wanted. The one thing I would change is my hair-do because it was extremely windy on the terrace but either than that Sandos Weddings over exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for your service and for being part of our favorite day. We definitely recommend Sandos Cancun as your destination wedding 100%. -

My March wedding review!
Nely at Sandos Cancun really helped put my nerves at ease before we arrived! She is very responsive, detailed, and very organized. It was extremely windy the morning of my wedding, so last minute we changed it from the beach to the penthouse and it looked so beautiful. I’m actually very happy that happened with how everything turned out! She planned our dinners, massages, decorated our room the night of our wedding, and many other things. I have nothing but great things to say about her. I recommend her and Sandos 10/10! -

Our wedding was very recent, July 27th 2019. It was absolutely amazing and perfect. The staff was attentive and worked with us on everything we wanted to make our dream wedding come true. Our wedding coordinator, Ayde Cortez, was fantastic! She really brought every little detail to life and answered my every question with a smile. I read up on wedding wire regarding this hotel prior to making a decision.
Nelly was mentioned as a wedding coordinator...she did not disappoint, along with her partner Carlos.
Her response time to us was always quick. She always came with a solution.
We did have a hiccup with the microphones, but I didn't that damper my experience.
The appetizers we had were amazing for the cocktail hour.
The set up was so pretty.
The weather and wind held up for us as well wish made my dream come true.
We Picked this hotel because of the beautiful set up on the terrace. It did NOT disappoint.
Fully recommend.

Beach Wedding
We had to postpone our wedding two years due to Covid. It was worth the wait! First, it was so easy to change the date, no questions asked. Second, the resort was great! We got upgraded to a suit, the staff was friendly and attentive, the food was great, and everyone lovwd it. The only negative was they required a 3 night minimum, which lost us a few guests. There's also $100 fee for any guests coming from other hotels. As for the wedding, we stuck to the basic package without many upgrades, and it still was beautiful! (We did however add on the fireshow which our guests loved!) Our wedding coordinator, Nely worked so well with us. She was on top of everything and all we really had to do is choose what we liked and show up. She made the day move smoothly, even shoo-ing away people in the water so we didn't have them in the background for photos. There were also fun surprises to make the whole time there feel special- like chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us after both the tasting and reception. The massages were a bonus, and the DJ, bar, hair and makeup that were part of the Seaside Bliss package all were perfect. Plus, it's only one wedding each day. I recommend a destination wedding if you want a fuss free but amazing wedding, and Sandos will give you that. -

Hello All, This Review is being done by the actual Groom of the Owens-Cazares Wedding. I say that cause us Men rare write reviews lol. Back on May 25th me and my wife had our wedding at Sandos Lifestyle Resort Cancun. I will be the 1st to say it was the most memorable experiences of my life. Not only due to the wedding was and all the memories that came from that. But the Wedding Staff and full Staff at the resort where top notch. Our Coordinator Ayde Cortez words can not describe the care and attention to detail she put in to helping us as the bride and groom but also our families in whole from the well healthy to the handicap needing assistance. From the Food tasting, the Dinners set up and any other events/interest us or our party had the really worked hard to make it easy. The Resort is an awesome resort with great views, Pools and beach area has plenty of cabanas and plenty of room to have family and friends seated at, Bars drinks and menu are all spot on as well.
Overall I would recommend this resort to anybody that ask where to do a destination wedding at. -

Dominique Sent on 02/24/2018My husband and I were married on January 13, 2018 and it was the most beautiful experience ever! Overall we were very happy with the service we got. Our coordinator Carmen was such a dear and fulfilled every request we had. The location on the beach was absolutely perfect and the reception on the rooftop was the coolest thing ever. We booked the DJ through the resort and he was amazing! I was nervous that he wouldn't play music that we liked, but he did a great job. I ended up sending him a playlist of some songs we liked and he was able to mix those in with his selection throughout the reception. I would say that overall the venue was great. Our dinner was delicious! We had chicken fajitas. I was disappointed in the dessert and the cake. Neither was very good, but it didn't break the experience for us. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Sandos Cancun! As far as the resort it's self, I love the size. It wasn't very big which made our event more intimate. One thing I think they can improve on is having more restaurants open during the early lunch/day time. A lot of the time, your only option is the buffet and I wasn't able to try all of the places because of that reason. They treated us like royalty when we arrived and took the best care of us and our guests. They were very accommodating and welcoming. The concierge was very sweet and helpful. They went above and beyond in making sure our stay and our wedding was one to remember.

Beautiful wedding
We really enjoyed planning our wedding with Sandos and our coordinator, Nelly! We had a great time and made amazing memories. The only thing we can think that could be improved is the hotel checking in and checking out process since it felt that it could be faster and most of our guests complained about this. Other than that, the planning was amazing, flowers were beautiful, food was great! We had a beautiful wedding! -

Nely is the reason our wedding was phenomenal
My wife and I’s Sandos Cancun wedding this summer (july 2022) would not have been ideal if it wasn’t for Nely. The check-in process was SUPER slow, like 45min - 1 hour for check-in to your room. Nely was the best wedding planner and without her it would have been terrible. Nely should be working elsewhere for the amount of effort she put in to make our guests (70+people) feel welcome and whenever we were having issues she was there with a solution, definitely a diamond in the rough with the rest of the staff. Makeup, photography, and DJ was great though! Highly recommend those companies but our Sandos wedding would have been NOTHING memorable without Nely. -
