Perfect Ceremony!

Our ceremony went perfectly thanks to Sand Petal! Nikki was great and made sure everything went smoothly. The setup was beautiful and exactly as planned. We are still getting compliments on the wedding! Nikki worked with us and customized our package so we got everything we wanted. We couldn’t be happier with how it went and highly recommend Sand Petal to anyone planning a beach wedding!

Sand petal weddings is the best!

I cannot say enough good about sand petal weddings! Nikki and her team were so amazing to deal with. Nikki and I had been planning for about a year and couldn’t have been more helpful! She provided so many resources and extras!
Our wedding day was so organized, set beautifully and everyone communicated so well. I didn’t have a single stress in the world and for that I am the most Grateful. I wish I could relive our big day 100x over thanks to this amazing company 💜

Destination Wedding

They made my day amazing!

Truly Perfect and Magical!

From the very start, Cathy, Lisa and her team were wonderful. We made a lot of changes to their packages, and we were not the traditional wedding. They accommodated our large wedding party and constant last minute changes without missing a beat. If you are looking to have a wedding in the Sarasota, FL area, look no further. Thank you so much for a WONDERFUL, no PERFECT, wedding day. Everything went off without a hitch . The stress, the worry all melted away when: firstly, I saw my Groom at the altar, and secondly: that all my favors, flowers, and decor were put out and arranged beautifully. The food, mood, and DJ were all better than excellent. Everything was handled very professionally, including the removal of some unruly wedding crashers. All of my guests keep saying they have never had more fun at any wedding they have attended, and I believe them. I completely agree. You all were perfect. THANK YOU

Sand Petals Makes the wedding experience that much easier by giving you several options to choose from out of a catalogue they send you. EVERYTHING is customizable. The Ladies at Sand Petals will answer any questions you may have at any time and keep you up to date on what info they need from you. Very much plug and play with the ability to make your wedding experience completely customizable. If you want hot pink starfish, and blue flamingos they will make it happen. I really appreciated the advice in regards to color and design for my wedding. These Ladies have a lot of experience and will not hesitate to tell you if they think certain colors will wash out on white sand, or if a recipe for their food vendor has changed and is not as good as the old recipe. They are HONEST and trust me when I tell you I am so happy I trusted them in regards to color and food choice. They truly care about your wedding and all of their bride's big days! Wonderful Ladies.

Sand Petal Weddings gave me the wedding of my dreams with very minimal effort on my part! No muss no fuss was my goal for this wedding which my mother was not thrilled about because she didn't like not having complete control over everything. She was very skeptical of this whole destination wedding thing. Cathy and Lisa went above and beyond and exceeded any expectations that we had. Thank you for a perfect day! From the food, to the cake, to the decor, to well everything it was perfect! I've had so many compliments!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Cathy and Lisa gave me the most amazing, romantic and perfect wedding of my dreams. I loved every second of my ceremony and reception and I know none of it would have been possible without Cathy. She is so sweet and loving and truly cares about each and every bride. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Choosing Sand Petal Weddings is the best desicion I made! They are experts and know all of the best vendors! I am forever grateful to Cathy and Lisa for every single thing they did to give us the wedding of our dreams! I would highly recommend then to any bride considering a beach wedding. The ladies at Sand Petal Weddings are AMAZING! Planning our wedding in Florida from Maryland was a very stressful thought at first but Cathy and Lisa were always there to answer and or help with anything! They truly made sure my vision came to life. Our wedding ceremony and reception were perfect! I wouldn't have changed anything at all! I had many guests comment on how professional and courteous they were as well as how our wedding was the best they've ever been to! I can't thank them enough for making our day so perfect!

Working with Sand Petal Weddings was the best wedding related decision I made! They did ALL of the work for me, and being that it was a destination wedding, that's exactly what I needed. Any time I had a question Cathy or Lisa were there to email me back or give me a call. They are very responsive to messages and I never felt like a bother ( and trust me, I asked A LOT of questions). Everything on the day of the wedding was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The entire day went off without a hitch and I couldn't thank them enough for all their hard work.
If I could do it all over again, I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

I am a DJ/MC for Grant Hemond and Associates and I had the pleasure of coordinating this wedding at the Sarasota MOTE aquarium with Cathy. She was adaptable, responsible, professional and successful at producing a great wedding. I look forward to working with her again.

I was very pleased with Sand Petal Weddings. Kathy was so good to me, she was super friendly and accommodated to everything I was looking for in my destination wedding.
I had a perfect day!! The only thing I would suggest is that the DJ plays music after the photographer leaves a little longer because it seems that I only got to dance to 3 songs and they were all slow and he was ready to leave.
I would recommend Sand petal wedding to everyone:)

If I could give this company a 10 out of 10 I would! They truly made our wedding like a fairytale! They far exceeded our expectations, were an absolute pleasure to work with, and made our wedding day so memorable! We could not have been any happier with choosing this company! Highly recommend!

I found this vendor on the knot and wedding wire and was extremely impressed with the reviews. I am having a destination wedding which makes it difficult to plan when I am so far away. The ladies at this company are so accommodating and informative. They take care of everything needed to have a wedding. I am so happy that I booked my wedding through them!

To sand petals staffs. Thank you all for the great service. My guests cannot stop talking about how wonderful our wedding. (They thought I planned everything) yeah right! Lol. You ladies are like my fairy godmothers. You worked it like magic. Everything was amazing! We were so relax the whole time. Great choices on the vendors as well. We loved everything! We sincerely thank SPW for making our wedding dreams come true! We are were so grateful for their expert orchestration of our wedding day...even hurricane winds didn't stop them from creating a perfect tented beach reception on Siesta Key! We consider ourselves blessed to have had the privilege of working with a team who truly cared about every last deatil. Sand Petal Weddings went "above and beyond" to give us the wedding of our dreams!! The staff is so amazingly friendly and really put our worries at ease. Before it's all over with they feel pretty much like your "family"! They really do care about your thoughts and dreams on having an amazing wedding! I have to admit I was very nervous at the begining when choosing Sand Petal just because I had never met them and I live states away but I couldn't have chosen a better group of women to help me and my husband on our special day. They were fabulous to work with! We specifically worked with Catherine and Lisa and they were great! Any questions were always answered promptly and the ceremony and reception were great! They hired great vendors - our DJ was fabulous as was our pastor Danny and the reception location could not be better! (Haven't seen pictures yet but photographer seemed professional and very accomodating to requests). Everyone that attended said it was by far the best wedding they ever went to and hope that Dan and I will get remarried each year just so they can attend again! LOL! Overall, if I could give Sand Petal more than 5 stars I would! Such a great and memorable day! I can't possibly thank them enough!

I loved the convenience of having an all inclusive wedding! It was made very simple for me I just had to pick my decor and everything else from the packet sent to me from Sand Petals. I did the Mother of Pearl package. Everything, I mean everything, was included in that package except your attire! It came with a videographer, dj, photographer, delicious food, great location, and a 45 minute luau performance which my guests loved! Staff is wonderful to work with and everything went perfectly. You can tell they've done this a time or two. The only thing I can think of to my disliking is that I'm on my 8th week from the wedding and I still have not received any of my pictures from the photographer. I was quoted 4-6 weeks but then again this is the busiest time of the year. Would definitely recommend this company.

When my fiance and I decided to plan a destination wedding, we had no idea where to begin, but we knew we wanted to be married on the beach around Sarasota or possibly Siesta Key. We conducted research about Siesta Key Weddings and got links to several businesses that specialize in weddings. Much to my chagrin, I called the first two on the list and no one answered the phone at either place nor did they have an answering machine. I continued down my list to the next business and it was SPW. Lisa answered on the first ring!!! I proceeded to tell her what had happened and I was suddenly discouraged because we lived over 500 miles away. Lisa was amazing. We chatted about several ideas for over an hour and then she emailed me some information along with a package in the mail to review. A few days went by and I called SPW again and there she was......first ring!! I was sold, and my experience with SPW, Lisa and Cathy was nothing short of remarkable for a whole year and a half! Yep.....for a year and a half they were there to answer my calls and emails without hesitation and professionlism every step of the way. Needless to say, our wedding day was absolutley incredible and they had even thought of details I hadn't thought about! I am so grateful Lisa answered the phone that faithful day! I highly recommend SPW to any bride looking to work with people who know the business, answer their calls and emails and provide exceptional quality service that is second to none. Thank You SPW for making our wedding day one we (and our family and friends) will NEVER forget!

Kathy, Lisa and the girls at Sand Petal Weddings were awesome! We planned from a far, and they worked well with us to coordinate everything and help create a day that we will remember for years to come. They worked through a rain challenge the day of and gave us a beautiful wedding! We wouldn't change a thing, everything was perfect!!

The SPW staff were amazing throughout our entire planning process! Every detail was taken care of by them, and we did not need to worry about a thing on our wedding day. This really took a lot of the stress out of planning our destination wedding! Our wedding was beautiful and our guests had the best time! Everything from the setup of the ceremony, getting all of the vendors scheduled, making sure the timeline ran smoothly, to the fun luau - we couldn't have dreamed up a better wedding if we'd tried! We will always cherish this day, and we will especially cherish the fact that we were able to concentrate on our guests and each other while knowing SPW would take care of everything else. They were more than accommodating when we asked to change details a couple of times. They even helped us create a new centerpiece that went with the theme we envisioned. They also helped us get the food we wanted with our smaller guest count, and included an extra dancer for our luau show. Staff from SPW regularly emailed us to make sure all of the details were taken care of throughout the planning process. We highly recommend SPW for your gulf coast wedding! Thank you SPW!!!

Sand Petals is an absolutely AMAZING company. They made our wedding a dream come true and it was perfect!! Their entire staff was absolutely incredible!! They do anything and everything for you to make sure you day is exactly the way you want it and that you have a total enjoyable experience. Josh and I had an absolute ball and our family had a blast too! The day was sooo perfect! :) They did an AMAZING job on all the decorating, coordinating, food, etc! They were organized, first class, and on top of everything from the time we contacted them and started planning the wedding to the last dance that night. The luau show is absolutely AMAZING!! It is a definite must have and made the night that much more memorable. I would highly reccommend this company for all weddings if your looking for a beautiful beach wedding and a night to remember!

Our wedding day was so very relaxing!! Actually the entire week before it was relaxing, because I did not have to do much of anything!! I booked the cooridinator 38 days before the wedding and they did an excellent job :). Nothing like being a procrastinator :). Everything was so beautiful. The food was wonderful and everything went so smoothly! I would highly recommend doing it this way, especially for a destination wedding. Thank you for making my dreams come true!!!

My wedding turned out to be the most wonderful day and Sand Petals did a wonderful job. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Everything went as planned and it was great and hassle free on my part. They handled both the wedding and the reception. All my guests at the reception made comments on how good the food and cake was. I would highly recommend Sand Petals Weddings to any bride looking for someone to handle their arrangements.

My wedding was perfect! I am so happy that I used Sand Petal Weddings to plan my special day. I've always wanted to get married barefoot on the beach, but since I'm from Pittsburgh I wondered how I would be able to coordinate all the vendors without loosing my mind. I found Sand Petal Weddings and it was a breeze! They have been so helpful and friendly throughout the whole wedding planning process. I can honestly say the only thing I stressed about was the weather because I choose to have both the wedding and reception on the beach, but that was perfect too. I loved everything about the day. The set up of the cermony was beautiful. Our Chaplain, Allen Tanner, was calming and put our nerves to ease. I am so grateful we had a wonderful pastor for our ceremony. We really enjoyed the shell toss and our sunset pictures. The ceremony was everything I imagined. Our Sand Petal Coordinators set up everything, the champagne flutes, place cards, favors, and made our tented reception on the beach look picture perfect. Our luau show was so much fun and gave us a lot of laughs. We really enjoyed the food and loved the wedding cake. We had 75 guests from Pittsburgh fly to be with us and they all remarked how wonderful the wedding was. They said it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Dancing in the sand with my husband,family, and friends was a dream come true. If you want a beautiful, fun, non-stressful wedding on the beach, Sand Petal Weddings will make it happen! It was the best day of our lives :)

Sand Petal Weddings were fantastic at planning the wedding and being there for me on our wedding day. We had never been to where we were having the wedding and they planned everything perfect and made sure it was exactly what I had wanted. All of our guests said it was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to. We had the Luau option which was so memorable and fun. If I had any questions they would respond right away and were on top of the catering, photography, videography and the pastor to make sure they all knew exactly what we wanted. I couldn't have imagined a better wedding and it was all thanks to the wonderful planning of Sand Petal Weddings. We were going to do a destination wedding and it all fell through, they planned it all within two months and then we got to leave our guests behind in Florida while we went alone to the Bahamas to truly get the best of everything:)

My husband and I were married June 14th, 2014. I was very impressed with the work Sand Petal Weddings did! The ladies were very enjoyable to speak with throughout the planning process. Everything was just beautiful and delicious, from the food to the decor. The staff at the reception site were also very nice. My family members are still talking about our wedding day 9 months later. It was just as I wanted my wedding day to be (minus the 10 minutes of rain) haha, which Sand Petal and Beach House Restaurant were very quick to shield us from. The DJ was great as well, I don't think anyone was sitting in their seats for long. Thank you so much Sand Petal Weddings and Beach House Restaurant!

Sand Petal did a wonderful job in our wedding. The setup, food, cake, DJ, bartender, and officiant. The photographer was great he was just a little snappy which I get because everyone was overly excited. The only negative was that I requested an extra hour, which of course I would pay for, but I denied. So everything was very rushed and I didn't get to spend much time with my guest. I didn't even get a photo with just my mother. That was a little disappointing. However I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I would just tell them to ask for the extra hour from the beginning. It's hard to tell that you need another hour until you see the sequence of events and you only get that a week before the wedding. All in all it was wonderful and we are extremely happy.

Good, but in reflection, disappointed. We went with this vendor because they were not only cost efficient, they seemed to genuinely care and were very pleasant upon meeting.
Throughout the process it became apparent that they crank out weddings and if you want to break the cookie cutter mold, they might not be your best option. Dont get me wrong, they put on a nice show, however, seem very adverse to doing things atypically.
From the get go we made it known that we didn't want the standard and were met with resistance, even up til 5 min before the wedding. The groom received some pretty strong chastising from the planner, minutes before the bride walked down the aisle. He knew where the bride wanted the groomsmen to be and the planner argued with him. They also left the wedding without one word to the bride or groom. No congratulations, nothing. Seemed odd.
Overall, not very impressed.

Horrible Experience

WARNING….DO NOT BOOK!!!! This company is all about money. Long story as short as possible, I booked with this company (living out of state) because I read the reviews on the website and spoke to an agent, and thought I was getting a great deal along with great service. Prior to booking, my rep was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. However, when you book with this company, the hotel recommendations are not as advertised. I made the initial deposit only to find out that some of the hotels they “partner” with don’t even offer to hold weddings any longer. Some require to be booked for 2 weeks or require the entire location to be rented (mind you, I only have 25 guests) and one location, I couldn’t reach because the phone number was out of service. My plan was to use one of these locations to make the process as easy as possible. I expected this to be a fun and exciting time and this company has ruined this for me. Now I have to call multiple locations in FL (where do I even begin) and find out all of the necessary information. I paid $3,900 for the deposit and the company is refusing to refund any money even though no work was done. (They don’t start planning until about 60 days out from your wedding.) I don’t expect all of the funds back but due to the false advertising, it would be nice if we could meet somewhere in the middle. Also, the rep mentioned that I booked during one of the busiest months so they shouldn’t have a hard time rebooking my wedding date but they still are refusing to fix the problem. I now have to go through court proceedings while trying to plan my wedding. Please don’t make the mistake that I did.
