We got married at Sanaview and everything was was absolutely amazing! After my original coordinator suddenly having medical issues a week before my wedding, Janet and her team pulled everything together perfectly! She was so responsive any time I emailed or texted and was even up at 5am making the pizza dough for our late night snack the morning of! The day was beautiful and we got married at Pine Grove under all the trees and it was exactly how I envisioned my wedding day. We had the farm the entire weekend which made set up and tear down a lot less stressful. The food was absolutely incredible and the scenery was stunning, our guests had nothing but great things to say! Don't look any further for your dream wedding venue! SanaView Farms Winery exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding weekend and then some. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a venue—it was a full, immersive experience. The natural beauty of the property is absolutely breathtaking, with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made the entire weekend feel special from start to finish. Between the stunning landscape and the thoughtfully maintained grounds, it created the perfect backdrop for our celebration.
One of the standout aspects of SanaView is how seamlessly everything comes together. We chose to use them for catering, flowers, and coordination, and it truly felt like an all-inclusive experience in the best possible way. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and precision, allowing us to be fully present and actually enjoy our wedding rather than stress over logistics.
The food deserves special mention—simply incredible. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and universally loved by our guests. They were also extremely accommodating with our preferences for both food and alcohol, which made everything feel personalized and intentional.
The on-site accommodations, including the farmhouse and bunkhouse, made the entire weekend even more memorable. Having our family stay together created a warm, intimate environment and made getting ready for the wedding feel relaxed and joyful instead of rushed or chaotic.
What truly set SanaView apart, though, was the people. The entire staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. And above all, Josh Meyers was nothing short of exceptional. He was the driving force behind how smooth, organized, and enjoyable everything felt. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm, confident coordination allowed us to fully relax, knowing everything was in expert hands. Josh went above and beyond at every turn—anticipating needs, solving problems before they arose, and making us feel heard and supported throughout the entire process. He is truly a master of his craft and an absolute star.
Janet, the owner, was also wonderful to work with and played a key role in helping bring our wedding vision to life. Her dedication and care were evident in every aspect of the experience.
We wanted a wedding that felt like a meaningful, shared experience with our loved ones—a place where everyone could come together, connect, and celebrate—and SanaView delivered that perfectly. Even as the first wedding of the season, everything was executed flawlessly. Our guests are still talking about how magical the entire weekend was.

Unlike any other venue
I attended a wedding at SanaView in the summer of 2025. After working in event planning for over a decade, I could feel immediately, that this venue was different. As a guest, it is obvious, just how much the team values each and every person coming into their venue. It is not only a beautiful location, but also a perfect blend of elegant rustic charm inside. The food was delicious, the staff professional and accommodating, and the best part was, all of the employees were so friendly and warm. I knew immediately that it was a place I wanted to work. I was blessed with the opportunity to lead the team at SanaView and can't imagine anywhere else I'd want to work. -

Amazing Venue!!!
What a great venue! From the whimsical pine grove for the ceremony, to the wonderful barn, farmhouse, and other quaint structures on the property, made this the perfect place for our daughter’s wedding! Janet, the owner, and her staff were amazing! But a big shout out to Peyton, event manager, she is nothing short of amazing, she catered to our every want or need the whole weekend! She was doing everything from bartending, making the salad for dinner, and making sure everything was perfect! She is worth her weight in gold! The weekend was magical in every way, book this venue, you won’t be sorry!! -

We toured this farm in October 2023 with Janet & staff. From that moment we knew this was perfect for a late fall wedding. The options to stay on property was a plus. Beautiful venue and excellent staff.
SanaView was a fantastic location and partner for our wedding. Janet handled everything with class, promptness, and thoughtfulness. She was open to our ideas and allowed our day to be exactly what we wanted. Unlike many other venue offerings, had the location for the entire weekend (with lodging onsite) so we could maximize the time we had with our loved ones.SanaView Farms Winery's reply:

Janet and her team at SanaView helped us have the wedding day of our dreams! Good communication was kept leading up to wedding day to ensure our vision came true! This venue really has it all — they do appetizers, dinner, dessert, all the drinks, champagne toasts, tables and dinnerware, they’ll even do flowers! Set up and tear down was taken care of by staff which was an enormous help, especially the day after!
We were very pleased with the ceremony and reception at the same location to alleviate any headache or wrong turns from guests. The ceremony site tucked back in the pine forest is a dream come true in itself! The barn has heat and AC to allow for comfort any time of year. The barns fairy lights were the perfect soft glow to add to the days beauty. The grounds have many gorgeous spots for wedding day photos. (Will try to attach some in a comment as my file size is “too large.”) We were even able to accommodate the two of us plus ~14 guests to stay at the farm with us before and after the big day!! There are a few hotels within a short distance of the venue as well which guests really appreciated. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough!SanaView Farms Winery's reply:

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at SanaView Farms on November 9, 2024, and even months later, we are still receiving glowing compliments from our guests! From the first interaction, working with Janet, Peyton, and the entire staff was an absolute joy. They made us feel incredibly special, and their attention to detail made our wedding vision a reality!
The food was a standout feature—everything from the popcorn bar to the brisket was a hit with our guests. The wide variety of drinks at the bar also received rave reviews, ensuring everyone had something they loved. The venue itself was breathtaking. We had our ceremony in the beautiful pine grove, which added such a serene and magical touch to the day. The barn setup for dinner and dancing was also perfect, accommodating our ~140 guests with ease while creating an intimate and fun atmosphere.
Above all, the staff at SanaView Farms were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They made sure that we, as well as our guests, were well taken care of throughout the day. Choosing SanaView as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made, and we can’t wait to visit their winery and café in the future!

Seriously WOWed 🥂
I mean WOW what can I say ?? THIS venue was EVERYTHING you could want ! A beautiful blank ish canvas to decorate with your own touches but they do all the lights and fabric draping ! The barn, the dining-completely-windowed area off the barn, the Pine Tree Forest (where we got married on a crisp cool Sunny day in April) was PERFECTion. Janet and the staff at the farm are wonderful with focus on farm to table foods, handmade wines and spirits, cute and clean accommodations sleeping 20 + and the ability to rent for the weekend on a whole all adds up to my dream venue wedding venue! You must try their pizzas, pastas and steaks! My guests were dazzled by the service, food, drinks and overall experience Sanaview provided. Sanaview was wonderful for our July 2023 wedding. They were so helpful in planning every step of the way. We also had them do our catering and flowers, and both were absolutely wonderful. The barn was beautiful, and overall it was a fun and stress free day. It was also very convenient to be able to rent the property for the weekend, which included some lodging. Absolute Perfection
My wife and I cannot recommend SanaView Farms more. Janet and her team are the best around. They are so genuine and treat you as though you are their family. The attention to every detail, no matter how small, was made sure to be taken care of. We had a few times during our reception with sparklers where timing had to be perfect and Janet and her staff executed it flawlessly. They made sure that your wedding day was the absolute perfect day. Our guests are still talking, even a few months after our wedding, about the venue and food. The barn and grounds are just absolutely picturesque. The covered porch was perfect for not only our ceremony, but for the dance floor as well. The food…what can I say. Absolutely amazing. We loved that it was either grown on the farm or brought in from somewhere local. To say it was the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding is an understatement and so many of our guests said the same. We would recommend SanaView Farms to anyone looking for a wedding venue. -

I can’t imagine anyone ever saying that they’re glad it rained on their wedding day, but that may have just been the case for us. Thanks to Janet and the Amazing team at Sanaview, our potentially wet and dreary wedding day became more than we could have ever imagined. The seemingly limitless ceremony options, the notable preparedness of the SanaView team, and the comfort of knowing we were in the best hands, made our day extraordinary.
We had searched far and wide for the right venue in Western PA, we had made the bold decision to forego a planner and manage it all ourselves; we had only a few requirements, but every venue we visited fell short until we found SanaView Farms. All we wanted out of our venue was a scenic view, the option to supply our own bar, and most importantly independence when it came to our food.
SanaView farms is gorgeous, the barn inside and out is clean, well decorated, and romantic. SanaView had plenty of bar options, however we preferred and made the decision to bring our own Liquor/Wine/Beer, and they were extremely accommodating. Our major sticking point with other venues had been the disappointing food options, or when that was the case not being able to choose other catering or manage the food ourselves, our expectations were much of the same when seeking out SanaView, but they blew those expectations out of the water. It seemed too good to be true when Janet provided us with potential menu options, including an option for an OnSite Roast Pig which was specifically what we were hoping to do! Not to mention the delicious Organic Seasonal vegetables grown on property. We are passionate about food, and it was one of many highlights of the evening.
I can go on and on about the absolute friendliness of the staff; the convenience of the lodging; the Pine Tree Grove; the Fire pit which we after partied with s’mores and music; the endless supply of beauty surrounding the property for Photos or just good old soaking it in.
Our day was more than we could have imagined. SanaView Farms made that possible. -

I cannot recommend SanaView Farms enough to have as a wedding venue. Their staff made our wedding day an absolute dream and they made it look easy. From the flowers, to bar tenders, to servers, to their set up and decorating; the service was immaculate. Janet McKee is incredible, she lead and directed us through the entire process. She made planning the wedding so much easier. Their entire staff's attention to detail and making our vision come true was impeccable. The actual wedding reception was phenomenal. They kept the flow of the entire event so seamless, our guests had the BEST time. The flowers, center pieces, cookie table arrangement all looked out of a movie. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. Not to mention the farm is absolutely beautiful. Dave and Sara from the staff were so attentive to our wedding, they made it so easy for us to enjoy it. We had a blast, and would do it all over with them again and again. We will never forget the incredible wedding they helped us throw. We also ordered our flower arrangements; for tables, bouquets, and boutonnieres through SanaView. They turned out better than I could have imagined! This is the best place and people to trust for your wedding! Thank you SanaView!

A fairytale day
Upon driving the rolling hills to walking amongst the pines - SanaView connected with a piece of my heart! The barn is the perfect blend of classic rustic and the indoor/outdoor feel of the spacious patio was such a bonus. On-site sleeping, the ability to stay all weekend, flexible packages and kind staff are a few of our favorite things. Being surrounded by God’s wonders made for the most magical moments. I attended a wedding at SanaView Farms in November and was inspired to put this venue at the top of the list for my own upcoming event. The historic farm and barn were magical, the grounds are lovely and the service was impeccable. It’s also so easy to get to right off of the PA Turnpike and really close to so many great outdoor activities - ski resorts and state parks. The Laurel Highlands has been a favorite destination of mine for a long time and SanaView Farms is now on my “must visit” list any time I’m there. SanaView Farms exceeded my expectations for my dream wedding! The minute we arrived they were all hands on deck to help set up! They made sure everything was just how we wanted and the food was outstanding! The property is beautiful and offers many locations for a ceremony site. The farmhouse and bunkhouse were spotless for us to stay in! We didn’t have one person with a negative comment about the service and site. Our guests enjoyed it! A literal dream
WHERE DO I EVEN START???
I found SanaView in a Pittsburgh wedding community group on Facebook and fell in love with another couple’s wedding video. We went to go see it and… well, that was it.
There was so much that we loved about the farm! The way weddings support their organic farming practices, the fact that we could rent the farm for the whole weekend (no rush setting up or tearing down), the option to use the land for camping after the reception (which we and 60 of our friends took them up on)… so much of it aligned with who we are as people and a couple.
Not to mention, The farm itself is so beautiful. We honestly could have brought next to nothing and had an incredible wedding. Nature did a lot of the decorating for us! The sprawling hills, the pond on the property, all the wildflowers, THE TREES… so many beautiful trees! The air smells fresh, and my husband and I were able to spend our entire wedding day barefoot… exactly like we wanted.
After working with Sanaview for almost two years, we can say that the absolute best part about it is the people. Janet is INCREDIBLE at what she does (which is literally everything)… I honestly don’t know how she does it. She, Sara, Kevin, George and Dani are some of the kindest, most loving people… The exact kind of people you want around when you’re planning your wedding, and on the actual day itself. Anytime we needed something, they were there. Even if we DIDN’T need anything, they were there. Asking how they could help, and seeing if there was anything they could to make our day even more seamless for us. We felt so loved, held and supported by everyone who worked there, and left with all of them being friends.
I could go on and on and on about the staff and the farm itself. The people are incredible. The energy there is magical in a way that you can’t quite put your finger on, but that you can FEEL. There is literally nowhere else we would have rather gotten married.

The best possible experience for a DIY wedding!
We had our wedding here September 2021 and would do it over and over again. Extensive details below but the communication, flexibility, support/customer service, value, and their true kindness were top notch. Added bonus for location to hotel proximity, parking, extended weekend venue rental option, indoor/outdoor availability, it’s pet friendly, BYOB and the cost.
Janet, Kevin, Sara, George, and Dani were so fabulous through the time of inquiry to day after clean up. Communication was clear and professional, they were so kind and truly wanted to provide the best possible experience. They helped with anything we asked, or provided resources to get what we needed. They took the time to answer questions and just have honest conversation, which is incredibly valuable when planning your own wedding! I didn’t once feel like a ustome being rushed/pushed to make a decision.
They were more than willing to help provide some decor, stock up the coolers for the bar, and even make our signature drink. I was prepared to have it premade the day before but they wouldn’t let me - literally, they insisted on making it fresh. I’m a bit of a control freak but there comes a time in a DIY wedding you have to let go. SO GLAD I did with the SanaView team, they did not disappoint when it came to craft cocktails or creative setup.
We did the weekend rental and had the best time. The flexibility of setting up Friday and cleaning up Sunday gives you the time to spend with your friends/family instead of rushing day of. They offered to coordinate vendors for rentals but also offer the flexibility to choose your own, within reason.
The options for photos are endless- the barn, farmhouse, the greenhouse, the rolling hills, the pine forest. The venue has really great lighting at dawn and night (per my videographer) so bonus that your photos will look great all throughout the night. We did a sunset 30min shoot and it turned out incredible.
You can do as much or as little DIY as you want. It’s a great option for couples that want a unique wedding to make their own, or for the laid back couple that wants solid bones/surroundings for a minimalist vibe.

SanaView Farms Wedding Weekend
My husband and I wanted a unique experience for our wedding day, and with our opposite personalities, SanaView Farms was the perfect location to host our dream wedding. By chance, or fate, my husband and I randomly found Sanaview Farms on a Sunday afternoon drive. We were trying to find ideas for a wedding venue, with an indoor and outdoor option, that was easily accessible for our guests who were located across the state. When we pulled up to SanView, we were kindly greeted by George – no appointment or warning on our end, but he took time out of his Sunday to give us a tour of the farm. George showed us the barn, houses, and various ceremony sites, but it was the upper-pine ceremony site that took our breath away. We could instantly picture walking down the aisle and becoming husband and wife. After discussing a variety of options and visions with George, we knew we had to schedule an official tour and book the venue immediately.
Since many members of our wedding party had a long distance to travel, we decided to rent the farm for the entire weekend. We used the farmhouse, the bunkhouse, and the bedrooms above the barn. This worked out well, for we did not have to worry about traveling and the extra cost of hotel rooms. The ladies were able to use the farmhouse as our “get ready space” and the men used the bunkhouse. My hair and make-up team came right to the property, which eliminated any travel stress and allowed us to maximize our time. We were able to spend quality time with our friends/family before and after each event with a bonfire, a visit to the lake, or a walk around the property.
The gorgeous scenery is a selling point on its own – a lake, pine trees, open land, the historic barn, etc. After booking SanaView, we discussed with our photographer the option of holding a “first look” moment. With no worry about travel or time restraints, this provided us the opportunity to be photographed all over the property throughout the day.
My husband and I chose to use SanaView Farms for our floral arrangements and we were so glad that we did. I could not have been more in love with our flowers! Prior to the wedding date, Janet and I discussed the colors, bouquets, and ceremony arch display. Because we were on-site the day before our wedding for the rehearsal, Janet was able to show me the “rough” display of the bouquets and make a few last minute changes. On our wedding day, our bouquets and ceremony arch display were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I had imagined.
The food menu was extremely important to us, as I have a variety of food allergies, and did not want to have to worry about a reaction during our celebration. The staff was able to prepare a delicious lactose & gluten free menu which included our family recipes. The food was so wonderful, that many of our guests returned for second and third helpings.
The flexibility of the venue was one of my husband’s favorite parts. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner, bring in our own displays, lawn games, desserts, furniture, and other items needed to help us stay within our budget. The barn itself is so beautiful, that decorations were barely needed inside. I was able to surprise my husband, and our guests, by having “husband & wife” alpacas during cocktail hour. Also, our two favorite parts - my husband was permitted to display his hand-made ceremony arch on the property, and our dog was permitted to spend the weekend with us and participate in all events.
Finally, we would love to compliment the amazing, on-hand staff, George and Kevin. By the end of our wedding weekend, we named them the “dream team”. They made sure that we, the bride and groom, were the number one priority. At times, we felt that George and Kevin were reading our minds - they had furniture moved, containers filled or emptied, and decorations prepped before anyone had to ask. When questions and decisions were too overwhelming, they helped to eliminate choices and focus on the important details. When a storm rolled through 24 hours prior, they worked endlessly to ensure an outdoor ceremony was still possible. Any little detail that was out of place, they slid in to fix it before we even noticed.
As any bride will tell you, the planning process and months leading up to the wedding day were stressful and overwhelming, but our day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! We are looking forward to returning to SanaView Farms to celebrate our anniversary and relive our amazing wedding day.

My husband and I are fortunate to say that we chose the right wedding venue for us! As artists and do-it-yourselfers with a tight budget and an affinity for the outdoors (especially gorgeous, rustic settings like this one), space and flexibility was very important to us. It is surprisingly difficult to find a venue which offers the option of doing a lot of it yourself. Not only were we trying to keep within our budget, but we also wanted to carefully select, and in many cases construct, every little detail of our wedding. Sanaview Farms is beautiful on its own (great for pictures!) and I enjoyed enhancing what was already there with my decorations and design. The team there seem to be constantly making upgrades and we were very happy with the condition and cleanliness of everything when we arrived for our wedding weekend. On the day of the wedding, the staff was helpful in resolving a technical issue that I wasn't even aware of (my husband was, but graciously kept it from me until after!). A word of general advice about working with venues and vendors: be clear about your expectations and plans, ask questions and get things in writing. Communication is key. It will help to prevent potential misunderstandings and will make everyone's life easier. SANAVIEW farms was everything I wanted from my wedding. We had the farm Friday through Sunday. Beautiful property with access to the house bunk house and bedrooms in barn. This allowed the bridal party to stay in site allowing us to really enjoy our time there and not worry about shuttling around the area. There is a Holiday in 5 minutes away for those guests who wanted a more private room. Janet was very accommodating with last minute changes they were able to do the rehearsal dinner and bartending for us. Even with a family emergency for their initial staff plan Janet stepped up herself to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Whatever we needed it was there. Highly recommend SANAVIEW for your wedding.
Also with Covid going on during this time they were very accommodating with late night phone calls to discuss options even allowing us to book the farm for a second weekend free of charge if we had decided to not keep our initial plans. Susan Sent on 06/23/2018What a true hidden treasure! Sanaview has a special feeling about it. It is not only beautiful but was a perfect place for our daughters wedding. Not only can the whole bridal party stay on site but family have options close by.
Janet was awesome in responding to emails and always a pleasure to be with around. She and Kevin made themselves available if need. They both were very accommodating. It was so nice having Friday and Sunday to set up and clean up. We got to not worry as much about doing so on the big day.

This venue is beautiful, the food was incredible.
The owner Janet was an absolute nightmare. I have worked in the service industry for 15 years worked hundreds of weddings, events, from parties of 20 to parties of thousands. Never have I experienced such an understaffed event for the occasion, I think in total there were 5 people for the entire day all having multiple titles. She made excuses and took little responsible for being understaffed, unavailable, and generally disorganized. There was no one there to hold the guests while we were taking pictures in the grove, leading guests to be confused and lost.
She charges for HERSELF to do your flowers, food, and be the day of wedding coordinator. If you're wondering how that is humanly possible, it is not. To say the least, behind the scenes was absolute chaos. My flowers cost almost $2000 and they were not what I asked for. The mens boutonnières were thrown together because she was clearly only 1 of 2 people working on them. I told her no white flowers in my bouquet, she said "Oh okay only be 1 or 2". Not what happened. I wanted ONLY fall colors, there was white and peach. But this is Janet, she did not listen to my requests just what she thought. It is truly shocking behavior to have had to deal with on my wedding day. Though this is promised to be a dog friendly venue, my small dog was attacked by the Akita on the property. I was not given notice that there would be an Akita on the property.
The property manager at the time, Amos, ended up bartending - even though she allegedly hired other bartenders. Though he was supposed to also be helping with food service and managing the property. Note that we were charged separately for a server, a bartender, and to have a property manager but the roll fell on 1 person. He left one of our wedding guests to bartend while he disappeared for 30 minutes. I purchased all the alcohol for my wedding and the liquor liability insurance. Janet refused to even acknowledge this when I brought it up in an email, or how at risk she put me by having someone serving alcohol while drinking (it is illegal in PA for bartenders to be drinking while working)
I would seriously consider the woman you are working with when booking this venue. Things were very much overpromised and under delivered. I am devastated over what happened and have had periodic anxiety attacks over the way we were treated. The property is gorgeous, that was why we booked it, if I had known how poorly Janet ran it, I would reconsider.SanaView Farms Winery's reply:

This was possible because we were fully staffed, as contracted, with wonderful employees who created a great experience for all.
You can imagine how heartbreaking it is for us to read this when we truly connected with this beautiful couple and really liked them a lot.
When you compare this one review with all of the rest, you will notice that something else is going on here that is out of our control.
We decided to move forward with putting on this beautiful wedding, even though the family did not follow the contractual obligations to pay for the food in advance and only handed a bad check the weekend of the wedding, unbeknownst to us. There was a plan to never pay for this wedding in full before they ever arrived and then created issues as a ploy to avoid paying after. Last minute requests were made by the person who wrote the bad check, to try to create chaos, but we politely handled everything with as much grace as humanly possible. We did so, which is why everyone else raved about us and the venue.
We staff these events according to the plan that is agreed upon prior to the event. When we were met with drastic changes in the moment during the event, we gladly did our best to accommodate politely and without a single complaint.
Every single detail is meticulously cared for.
Yes, as the business owner I am very hands on and I personally ensure that every aspect of this service is taken seriously. So much so that I’ve been personally trained by an experienced wedding floral designer from a high-end wedding florist from Manhattan.
We ordered the flowers exactly as requested by the bride and reviewed all of the designs with her personally the day before the wedding. Even the bride’s mother said how beautiful the flowers were and members of her bridal party stated “We nailed it”. We are happy to share photos.
The cost of the flowers and materials alone was almost $1000 and the 18+ hours me and our staff put into creating the bouquets, an elaborate custom ceremony arch, boutonnieres, and centerpieces does not make it a profitable endeavor. We do it as an added service for the brides that request it.
We work with families all year to bring love and joy to the farm which makes that experience wonderful for everyone. Sometimes family influences are out of our control, but we work around the clock to accommodate every wish to the best of our ability, even if some are outside of the scope of the contract. This bride deserved better treatment from some of her family members.
Yes, the many dogs that the family brought to the farm created a bit of excitement. The security video footage showed the dogs playing before a scuffle. I addressed the issue immediately upon learning about the concern and offered to take the dog to the vet for a checkup. The couple refused. Apparently, the dog was fine and walking around the farm.
To be extra cautious, and to show how much we care about our clients, our employee's farm dog, Hope, is no longer living at the farm.
Since all of our couples remain in our hearts for sharing their vows at our farm, we truly wish the best for this couple and send blessings for a long and happy life together.
