San Dimas Canyon Golf Course event coordinator saved my wedding
To start, my first venue canceled on us only four months before our wedding date. I was frantic, my mother suggested SDCGC because my grandmother used to work weddings there back in the 80s. I called and Patty was so understanding and got me in the same day for a consultation. Patty made me feel so much better and was able to meet my budget. within one day of losing my first venue, Patty had saved our wedding. The venue is perfect, the staff is caring and dedicated. We felt taken care of no matter what was thrown our way. Everything was laid out and gone over for ease. The wedding day went smoothly and effortlessly, regardless of me still being nervous. Patty and the staff were right there to help and make this day as special as possible. I cannot thank SDCGC staff enough for making our day perfect. Our friends and family raved about the food and venue. They all said that it was the most fun they had a wedding.

A Wonderful Venue
My husband I were married at San Dimas in June and it was spectacular. Patty, the coordinator for the venue was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions and requests. A huge shoutout to the kitchen at San Dimas, we got so many compliments from guests on the food. Truly so delicious and so many options to choose from. The venue is beautiful and our guests had a great time utilizing the side yard, the bar area, the patio, and the main room and dance floor. I loved that there were so many different spaces for people to hang out and enjoy themselves.
I also thought the value was great. We really did not want to spend a ton on our wedding and the price turned out excellent. I would highly recommend this venue! Thanks to Patty for everything!

60, 65 Birthday Celebrations
My wife and I are turning 60 and 65 this year and wanted to celebrate 🎉 with our friends and family on this special occasion. We were going to have a home party 🎊 but realized that we didn’t have enough room for all our guests. So next best thing was San Dimas Canyon Golf Course which has recently re-opened earlier this year after renovation and repairs. We spoke with Patty at the events center and told her what we wanted to do and she started making the plans and arrangements. We were in constant communication with Patty as the day approached and she made sure what we wanted was taken care of. The seating was perfect for the amount of guests, the tables for food, deserts, gifts was perfect. We had a table at the entrance where our guests would be able to sign our guest book and a table for appetizers and drinks. The bar area was easy accessible along with seating outside in the patio area. The server’s were very professional and helpful and tended to everyone’s needs. I highly recommend San Dimas Canyon Golf ⛳️ Course for any events and/or celebrations you have coming up. Give Patty a call, 📞 she will take care of you! Can’t wait for the next event there!

Perfect thank you
We highly recommend this venue, everything was absolutely perfect and everyone is so attentive and professional. Lisa made us feel so comfortable and made the whole experience very easy. The steak ( prime rib) was perfect and all the guests loved the beef wellington appetizers.

Christmas Brunch
Just a quick thank you to you and your staff for our Ladies Christmas Brunch on Saturday. It was a wonderful morning for our ladies. Amazing location and even more amazing staff
My wife and I held our wedding at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course this last weekend, and we could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our union. Lisa, Kellie, Cynthia and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly with us to coordinate the day, providing us with valuable suggestions to help the flow of the day and getting everything prepared so we wouldn’t have to worry so much.
Our wedding day had unexpected rain showers throughout the morning and afternoon, which worries us greatly. We were very assured by the professionalism and flexibility of the staff to move our decorations from outdoors to indoors then back to outdoors after the rain had lessened. They did everything they could to keep our wedding and our guests comfortable and dry, and the payoff was an unforgettable outdoor ceremony and reception.
Thank you to Lisa, Kellie, Cynthia, and all of the hardworking staff to making our hopes for our special day come true!

Planning a wedding from out of state is difficult but the process was stress free thanks to Lisa and Brianna . Lisa was beyond helpful, accommodating and patient when it came to planning everything. She is willing to show you the location through FaceTime on a Saturday !!! Most of our communication was through email Lisa and Brianna were awesome at getting back to us so soon.
My husband and I were beyond impressed the day of the reception. It was beyond our expectations and what we pictured. The staff that day was amazing nice and so accommodating. The made sure all of our guest were taken care of and that we didn’t have to worry about anything. I am beyond great full for everyone that helped make the day a memorable and stress free . Thank you so much !!!!

Brianna provided a great wedding servicing phase experience
Brianna was great to work with. She was very responsive and thorough throughout the entire process. Her colleague, Lisa, was also very willing to help whenever Brianna was not available. The grounds are pretty and I loved the atmosphere it provided for my wedding. However, I was highly disappointed with the food quality on my wedding day. It did not taste or look like the offerings we had at our menu tasting. We walked around to several tables to say our "thank you" to guests and more than half hadn't touched their food. The roasted potatoes were dry and overcooked. We paid to upgrade from carrots to asparagus but that wasn't a good idea. The asparagus was also over cooked and a bit soggy (olive green instead of a nice bright green) and the marsala sauce was not thick enough. I hope that the chef will take this constructive criticism to ensure this doesn't happen to another wedding couple as food is sometimes the most memorable part of an event. Other than the food, I would give them a 10.

Amazing Venue!
The San Dimas Canyon Golf Course is am amazing wedding venue! I think that from the day we initially toured the property, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here. We were dead-set on finding a venue that allowed us to have both the ceremony and reception outside as well as allow my wife to be creative. She loves crafting and we both saw enormous potential for her to go wild and make our wedding unique.
From the start, Lisa and Brianne were kind and focused on making sure our day would be amazing. They were always willing to help us with any questions or requests leading up to the day and provided us with some amazing vendor recommendations. They were both professional and supportive of our vision which we can't thank them enough for.
As for the venue itself, it was amazing. The wedding ceremony in the secluded gazebo area was beautiful and the reception outside under the giant oak tree was phenomenal. The food was excellent, service was great, and the entire staff was just welcoming. I don't think we could have found a better venue and the pricing definitely helped us keep us within our budget. Thank you so much to Lisa, Brianne, and the rest of the staff for making our day unforgettable!

Mother's 90th birthday celebration
Had our Mother's 90th birthday celebration here with 85 guests, everything was wonderful ! The room was set to exactly how we wanted it and the staff for the day made it just perfect ! Lisa the Event Director was so thoughtful with all of our decisions and made sure the day was perfect.

Wedding at San Simas
We had our wedding at this venue and I must say that it was perfect! Breanna is amazingly attentive and helpful. I bugged her so much and she was patient and extremely helpful. It's a beautifully decorated venue so you don't need too many decorations, we just had decor on our tables and flowers. I love that the outdoors area is included, my hubby set up a cigar bar with cigars that we brought from Cuba. They also have a wedding suite available to get ready in. The prices are great in comparison to other venues. I'd definitely recommend this venue if you're looking for a nice place to host a party or are getting married. Lisa was very helpful and was there along with Breanna to help the day of our wedding. Thank you Breanna and Lisa for all your help.

baby shower
I hosted a co-ed baby shower for my son and daughter in law. It was a great success and Lisa and her crew did an incredible job. Lisa helped me set up because my help was late in arriving. There was an event after us but I did not feel that the staff was rushing us to leave. I would definitely recommend this venue for any events.

We just had an event this past weekend June 15th to honor my father & celebrate his life as well as father's day. Briana and Lisa, the event managers, helped out so much to make all the details of this event so special. Having access to the private lounge/bridal room for all our private belongings/ decor/ etc was so great because we have kids ages 4,3, 2 and 3mo who have special snacks,bottles and things that were necessary to bring and having a quiet place for them to chill was perfect! (Although they were all running around the venue at different time throughout the event!) We had a hard time deciding on the food for the event because there is so much so choose from, but went with the BBQ Buffet and it was so good! Everyone loved the salad, cornbread, mashed potatoes, & bbq chicken. Between the food, the table settings, the event setup displays, audio/visual access to computer & flatscreen tvs to run our slideshow presentation of photos taken throughout my Dad's life and being able to play all his favorite music throughout the surround sound system after was so awesome. Everyone that attended was so impressed with everything and told us over and over how lovely it was and how proud my Dad would be in how we honored him that day. He loved to golf and having the event here in his hometown of San Dimas on a course he's played before multiple times was so fitting and so him, everything was perfect and we appreciate all the help from the staff in helping us put on this event. The newly renovated ballroom is beautiful and the patio/balcony area was so nice to be able to go out to and lounge, chat, have drinks, and enjoy the beautiful views of the golf course with our family and friends. It couldn't have been any better or more beautiful. I would highly recommend planning your next event here at San Dimas Canyon golf course, the staff is amazing and the pricing is very reasonable for everything that you get out of it. It was a memorable day that we'll never forget!

Great Location & Wonderful Staff
San Dimas Canyon Golf Course was a great location for our wedding and reception. The staff were very helpful and flexible in providing for our needs throughout the planning process. We had planned for the ceremony to take place outside in the garden but we got rained out. Instead, the staff moved our ceremony into the reception hall and made sure we had enough room to walk down the aisle and still enjoy ourselves. Our guests complimented the food service and we had a wonderful wedding overall. Special thanks to both Lisa and Allison for taking care of us on our wedding day.

Amazing and everything we would never have expected
I love how flexible the staff was and welcoming. There was not an unfriendly face in sight. They made me feel like I was in charge and i got to choose how the event unfolded. Everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere!

We just had our wedding here on Dec. 22nd, 2017 it was absolutely beautiful! Melinda, Valerie and their team are in it!!! We felt that we got a great deal, had fabulous service, and major compliments from our guests!! I’m so happy with our wedding and my wedding designer loved working with the venue as well! Hope my pictures help make another brides decision as easy as mine was to go with the venue. These photos were taken with a cell phone, I’ll post my professional photos once received. Thanks San Dimas Canyon for an unforgettable day that I will cherish forever!! Also the price that is listed was for the Gol Package with the Chavari chair included.

We had our wedding in October, and everything turned out beautifully as planned. Valerie, Melinda, and Amanda are an amazing team and helped us throughout the whole planning process and were very helpful with all of the millions of questions we had from the food, layout, vendors, rehearsal, setup, payment, etc.
The food tasting was not up to our expectations, however, they helped create a customized menu to our taste. It was easy to keep in touch up to the big day and the wedding went smoothly and the food and drinks turned out great. The staff are super nice and stayed on top of all of the wedding details and timeline to ensure the service and delivery was perfect.
The venue is adorable, and the gazebo for the ceremony is especially beautiful. There is also plenty of space and flexibility to create the vision you want for the wedding. The team is wonderful to work with and will help you create your special day. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Everyone was extremely helpful before the event and the day of. We were able to bring in our own dessert, they accommodated guests with allergies, and there was plenty of staff on hand. Greg, the head waiter was so accommodating and friendly. Our guests loved the venue's ambiance and they commented that the food was really good. The only thing I would suggest is that the all event planners make each other aware of the client's requests.

Choosing San Dimas Canyon Golf Course for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Melinda and Valerie did an amazing job to make our big day exactly what we wanted. They were always so patient with me and my millions of questions, covered every tiny detail and made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. This venue is absolutely amazing. On Dec 4th, 2016 I had my wedding here and it was more than I could have asked for. The venue is very intimate and beautiful. Ms. Melinda and her staff are beyond professional I could have not have asked for a better wedding coordinator and staff to help with this special day. All my requests were granted which made it so much easier to fall in love with this venue. I highly recommend this venue not just for weddings but for any special celebration. We recently had our wedding at this lovely venue. We booked last October during a Wedding Expo. The year had been full of events that I didn't really start to plan the details of our beautiful day until late this year. I had no idea what I was doing and it really takes a lot of work...I went to Coordinator, Melinda for all of my questions and concerns leading up to my event. All of my questions and calls were returned quickly. That calmed all of my nerves...if you can imagine. My day finally came...And I was in the best of hands. Thanks to Melinda & Team of Dream Makers... I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My wedding was beautiful! Wow, I have so many great things to say about San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. From the moment I walked in and met with Melinda and Valerie I was sold on this venue! It was a perfect location, setting, and their accommodations they were willing to make were amazing! As I was planning, my mom and I couldn't believe how stress free we were feeling! Melinda and Valerie made me feel so comfortable and took care of everything we needed. We met several times and spoke over the phone and each time they would go above and beyond! The week of my wedding was even better!! They allowed me to go in the day before (because no events were scheduled) to set up! Ah this point all of our chairs and tables and silverware were already set up and I was so excited to bring my guests in! Our ceremony was held at our church and our guests actually arrived earlier to the venue than our start time! I was so nervous and Valerie immediately approached me and said it was totally fine because everything was set to go! My night at the San Dimas Cabyon Golf Course was flawless!! The staff was great! I definitely recommend this venue! You can't beat the price and friendly staff!

Melinda, Valerie and the rest of the staff were also amazing. They were so accommodating and they were always available to answer your questions.

Based on a previous positive experience with an event at this venue, we decided to inquire about having our wedding at this venue and we couldn't have chosen a better place. From the very beginning, Melinda and Valerie were very flexible, accommodating, and helpful. They responded quickly to emails and worked with us to plan timeline and menu for our brunch wedding. Our wedding day went smoothly largely in part due to their hard work and dedication.

I have booked this place about a year and a half before my wedding date, and Melinda the wedding coordinator over there was absolutely AMAZING, I had emailed her with so many questions and changes over that year and a half, and she was just here for me and what ever I needed, and myself being an over obsessive bride to be, I had to put my vision in her hands and hope that it would all come out the way I had hoped and envisioned myself. When I walked in the day of my wedding, the reception room took my breath away and it had exceeded my expectations by far. It was just beautiful and Melinda was there that day with me until after dinner. She is truly the best.

Valerie was great and super easy going, totally our style! She just helped make us feel really comfortable at the venue and any of requests were easily made with no issues. Such a great venue, with the garden/gazebo area for the ceremony and the reception with the bar area was perfect. Gorgeous venue and would hold another event here in an instant!

OK< this was not a wedding, but our First Employee Appreciation Party .. for 158 people. LOVED working with Melinda our party planner, she made it very easy and fun! The staff accomodated our every request with a smile. This was an evening party ... the lighting was perfect, the room was SO beautiful!!! Everyone had a GREAT time, we will be coming back next year .... and the next!!!

I am so excited!! I booked this venue super early....almost a year and a half in advance because I just knew the minute I paid a visit! This review is for the booking process and everything that has happened so far...wedding is in Nov 2015 so it has not happened yet but so far SDGC has been wonderful. I am definitely a bride who needs to have all the details way in advance (hence the early booking) and the coordinators were very patient and accommodating. They recommend hashing out the details at least 45 days in advance, but I already have tons of questions and they were very helpful in answering them. May I say that they are SUPER DUPER great at answering emails and reply ASAP within the next business day. That definitely puts the bride at ease. I also had many requests and they were very accommodating and would usually say yes! So far everything has been great and communication is wonderful as well. Cannot wait to get married here!

I had the best experience at this venue! My fiancee and I went to about 3 or 4 venues and most of them I just didn't feel that I was so warmly welcomed (our wedding is going to be small so we don't intend on spending a fortune on any one thing). This venue was by far the best! I love the venue because it can be comfortable for either a small wedding (50 to 60 people) or a larger one (150 to 200). It is most perfect, I believe, for a smaller more intimate wedding like ours. You can have the ceremony and the reception there because they have lovely spots set aside for both. Melinda was great from the first moment and we got some great discounts because they were having a special at the time! I highly recommend this venue for anyone, especially if you live in the San Gabriel Valley. It is tucked away in a special little spot at the foot of the foothills. I cannot wait for my wedding day because I know it is going to be so beautiful and go so smoothly! It is so nice not to have any worry or anxiety about my big day!

We had our ceremony here and we loved. Everything I expected for a ceremony.the location had a garden on the front which there was no need of any decoration.the only thing is we had to bring our stereo to play the music

My hubby and I got married on a Monday which is pretty unusual, let alone Monday, April 1. Yes, April Fools day. Try explaining that to your guests! Melinda and Valerie were amazing! We had so much fun planning and coordinating our wedding we would do it over and over again! I planned my wedding from 8 hours away so I wasn't able to actually sit and look at my flowers, my arrangements, or even taste my wedding cake! Most people would think that was crazy, for us it was just how it had to be done. Our wedding was small and intimate with a rustic country feel. Melinda sent me pictures of our centerpieces as well as relayed the photos of flowers that I liked to our florist. Showing up that morning to get married was so relaxed and easy. I walked through and saw the flowers and all my arrangements had been EXACTLY what I wanted. The whole ceremony and reception was perfect, we couldn't have asked for better service. The food was amazing and every staff member we had was incredible and extremely nice! I am so pleased with the way it turned out. Anyone who has knocked a weekday wedding... Think again!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful day!! The staff and wedding coordinators were fantastic. They were incredibly flexible with options and pricing for our wedding. The wedding coordinators made everything feel effortless, I had the easiest day, I truly had a wonderful day. There was an accident with a flower arrangement and the staff just took care of it, I didn't even know about it 'til after the wedding. If you want an intimate and smooth wedding day San Dimas Canyon Golf Course is the place! Again, Thank you to everyone, I truly had a wonderful wedding day!!!

Excellent venue to have your wedding or other parties at. Staff is helpful and walks you through the entire process so you don't forget a thing. Melinda was so kind and on top of everything, especially the day of the wedding. Whatever I needed she was there and took care of it. The food was great and the layout was beautiful.

They were so easy to work with and were extremely flexible. They have great prices and their food is really tasty! The staff was very helpful the night of the reception and made the night more relaxing. Selena, Valerie and Johanna were extremely nice and fun to plan the reception with. I highly recommend using them for ceremony and reception. The view driving up to the golf course makes it even more worth it to have your event here. Thank you so much for everything girls!!

Tha San Dimas Canyon Golf Course is FABULOUS! I wanted to personally thank the two of you for such a beautiful day. The staff, especially Selina and Valerie are wonderful. The rehearsal, ceremony and reception went without a hitch and was wonderful and beautiful, not to mention the food was DELICIOUS. My new husband and I were aww strickin. I couldn't believe how wonderful it was. You surpassed my expectations and I couldn't have been happier. My new husband and I will have beautiful memories for years to come and plan on visiting and maybe having lunch as a reminder of our beautiful day. I can't thank you enough and I truly mean that. All of our guests couldn't say enough how beautiful the location is and how great everything was. The back drop of the mountains and the beautiful grounds... WOW. I am one that didnt think i would ever want an outside ceremony, but I am so glad we did, I LOVED IT. I will definately be talking about San Dimas Canyon golf course for years to come.

The special events coordinator and the staff are very courteous and helpful. The location has a spectacular view of the canyons and makes for a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. The chef did a wonderful job preparing our menu of choice; the food was delicous and all of our guests enjoyed it very much. We also held our ceremony at there beautifully remodeled gazebo location and was perfect. If your looking for that perfect intimate outdoor venue, this is it!

My wedding and reception was more than I could've asked for. Melinda took good care of me. Everything was handled. There was no miscommunication. The view for my photos was terrific and I loved seeing the Deer walking along the green.

San Dimas was a perfect choice for us for many reasons. We didn' t want to break the bank for our wedding, yet wished for it to be as wonderful and elegant as possible. By having SD as our reception venue, we were able to afford a great package, along with splurging in many other areas....details, details, details! Valerie and Salina were fabulous to work with and talk about being flexible!!! We were able to work with them on many details and they were totally willing and able to make our day one in a million. The food and appetizers were raved about by the guests and all had a memorable time. From the decor to the wait staff to the overall event, it was a great time all around. The value for the package was way affordable, yet beautiful at the same time. With the moola we were able to save by working with the gals at SD, we splurged on the decor, tiki torches, photo booth, personal details in the bathrooms, reception area, alcohol, etc. I highly recommend this venue for these reasons and so much more. My husband (then fiance) and his buddies even enjoyed a round of golf the day before at a discounted rate. It was a pleasure working with all of the individuals at SD and every time we visited, we were warmly welcomed with smiles and personal recognition by our names/upcoming event! Btw, the cake from Ontario Bakery #2 was fantabulous and all were raving about it...we even ordered a mini version of our wedding cake for my parents' 40th anniversary party that was in November. Overall, I highly recommend SD and I would love planning another wedding ;o)!!!

We recently got married at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course, hosting both our ceremony and reception there. This beautiful and tranquil golf course is nestled in a canyon in San Dimas, California, just a short 5-minute drive from freeway 210.
Our event coordinator, Patty, was exceptionally helpful, kind, and easy to work with. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, making our special day even more memorable. The reception area was spotless and featured new, elegant chandeliers. The balcony offered stunning views of the lush green golf course and the surrounding canyon.
We held our ceremony at the clock area, which provided breathtaking views of the canyon and golf course. The venue also offers a spacious Canyon Suite for the bride to get ready, complete with a large window overlooking the golf course.
The cost of this venue is very reasonable, and the food was excellent. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the delicious food and the beautiful venue. As a Vietnamese American, I appreciated that they allowed us to bring in two Vietnamese dishes, providing chafing dishes with sternos to keep the food warm.
I highly recommend San Dimas Canyon Golf Course to any couple looking for a perfect wedding venue.

Came through for us on short notice!
My fiance proposed unexpectedly, and wanted to arrange our wedding within 6 months so we could use a planned vacation as our honeymoon. With a hoped-for wedding date in June - a very popular month for weddings! - we had to scramble to find a suitable venue available on that date for a reasonable price. San Dimas Canyon Golf Course came through for us! Lisa Smith, the event director there, met with us without an appointment, showed us the options available in June, and was able to put together a reasonable plan on the spot. What a relief! Now my fiance and I can enjoy our engagement for a few weeks before diving in to wedding planning details. Thanks, Lisa!

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful! I am so glad we chose this venue for our ceremony and reception! Even the drive up to the golf course off the main road is charming and peacful. The garden area for the ceremony is breathtaking with gorgeous flowers, foliage, a beautiful fountain, and a view of the golf course behind the open gazebo to match. I especially liked the versatile and large open style gazebo that offers countless accommodations to virtually any wedding theme you desire (all other golf course venues we visited had the more common enclosed small arch or birdcage style). We wanted to be able to put a lifesize cross (with a floral arrangement on it) behind us, so this venue was the perfect choice to acommodate that. The gazebo can be decorated as simply or extravagantly as you like and it still looks amazing. The huge patio just outside the reception room came complete with cocktail tables and another awesome view of the golf course. We had our wedding here on a Sunday and received a special package price for doing so that fit our budget perfectly. The staff are professional, friendly, attentive and accommodated all of our special requests to the best of their ability. Our package included catering, and all the food was quite delicious, too. If you are a bride on a budget, but still dream of a fairytale wedding, I highly recommend San Dimas Canyon Golf Course! Everything they did for us was top notch and our day was perfect! I couldn't be a happier bride!

Had my wedding here last week and everything turned out so nice. I got to decorate they way I wanted and the location was gorgeous. The value for the price was amazing too. What can I say, this place was AMAZING! First, we booked and paid a deposit for CocoPalm in Pomona but after we thought long and hard about our vision, we decided to forfeit our deposit and look for a better venue. We found and chose San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. Our wedding which was planned for 131 people went smoothly!! Valerie and Melinda were amazing, helpful and professional. We opted to bring outside appetizers and they set up a table, chafing pans and plates for that, amazing right?
First, we met with Val and Melinda and discussed our delimma with CocoPalm. Melinda sent over pricing options and because we already sent save the dates, we kept out June 29th wedding day, a Sunday. After we fell in love we made a deposit and Melinda told us that cake was included through a choice of vendors. We had a food tasting which was awesome. We chose to upgrade and purchase open bar for an Hour. After we paid, we got to play a fun game where I chose a bouquet in a box and in that box was a prize. I was lucky to have chosen the box with free all night hosted soft drinks, almost $700 savings! After that, we go back and discuss details, such was flow of events, possible rehearsal and final count. The day of, I was so scrambled and was all over the place. Guess what? You get a banquet director who helps you flow your day, such as the speech the toast, the bouquet toss, everything that you are too busy to think about. My dad has gout and was unable to do the father daughter dance as planned and the way it was planned, no one noticed, expected or saw any confusion. She just asked me and I said no, we skipped it and went on to the toast. I am so grateful for them. My wedding was amazing and everyone can't stop talking about it!! Trust me there are too many added perks that you wont even know about until you start planning with them, TRUST ME, book them. NOW! I sound like a paid reviewer but I am just a happy bride who got more than I expected. Woot woot!

I had a beautiful wedding in a scenic location and I could not be more pleased at how everything turned out. Friends and family continue to ask, "How did you find this place...I want to hold an event here." I'm appreciative of the efforts made by the venue's coordinator, Melinda who helped me pull my vision together. She was always professional and courteous. The location, service and amenities were amazing. I was glad that the venue was flexible allowing me the opportunity to bring in outside vendors to give my wedding a more personal touch. The assistants Kimberly and Linda were also great. For value, quality of service and amenities you cant go wrong with San Dimas Canyon Golf Club

Melinda and Valerie were great to work with and prompt in responding to questions and emails. We went with an outside caterer, but used SDCGC for the ceremony and reception venues. The servers, banquet captain and Valerie were very helpful on the day of the wedding and even offered advice on things we hadn't thought of until the day of the wedding.
The gazebo/garden were beautiful and we didn't have to do much to decorate (just aisle markers) because the space is so inviting and green during spring and summer. After the ceremony, we had appetizers and drinks served on the balcony adjoining the reception hall and many guests remarked how much they liked the view and the set up. We ordered chiavari chairs for the reception hall and it made a HUGE difference in making the room more elegant (if you can afford the splurge, it's well worth it to get the chiavaris!).
I also want to note that I think the space can only accommodate about 150-170 people comfortably. We had the buffet tables set up inside the bar area and the dance floor set up outside on the balcony, which freed up a lot of space in the reception hall for guests and made the space seem larger. And it was really nice to have the dance floor outside on that warm summer night. Something to consider if you have a lot of guests.

I fell in love with San Dimas Canyon as soon as I saw it!
I really liked that cozy feel. They host one event and that's it. You will not be sharing their venue with anyone else. The golf course was beautiful. The food was great! The staff was friendly.
The price could have been lower but when you're getting married, high prices are expected.
San Dimas did take care of everything! Setup, clean up, food, cake..

I loved it Valerie was wonderful and so easy to work with. She was very flexible with pretty much everything. The food was really good, everyone of my guested made remarks about it. She even allowed us in at 10 am to set up. The only problem I had was at the reception after Valerie left, the girl she left in charge didn't really seem to know what she was doing. I had an issue with my cake. I told them to cut all 3 layers and they only cut 2 layers and saved me the top one. So some of my guest didnt get cake. Plus I told them to ask what favor the guest wanted since I had 3 different favors or just to put it on the cake table. And that wasnt done. Then I asked for the bottom of the cake, because if i turn it in I would get something from the bakery, she refused to give it too me.

overall, our wedding was amazing. Half their part, the other half our part. We had both our ceremony and reception outside. Honestly, it was magical. The only thing was a comment an employee made that almost threw me off my seat because getting to this wedding was a lot of hard work (weather and unforeseen events at home) needless to say the weather cooperated. If you're having your wedding outside, think worst case scenario or have a back up plan as to what to do. Anyway, we brought our own wall backdrop so we didn't see the parking lot, brought our own centerpieces, food, etc. The night staff that helped us out at night was amazing, they took care of directing people, cleaning up etc. This was a truly amazing experience.

I would recommend to a friend on a few conditions, one of those things being that they speak up for themselves.
I had ups and downs with the two people you are most in contact with at this Venue, Lisa and Brianna. I had mentioned in other reviews how important the vibe was between the vendors and myself. It is my belief that everyone in management at this venue is relatively new. This is quite obvious.
The venue and the staff has remained there with experience, and they provided amazing excellent service, this was quite obvious as well. There was a large disconnect in communication when it came to sitting down to go over details. I had visited them with my day of coordinator and we had decided many things. After they met with my mother, many things had changed and they didn’t even inform me.
I feel as though it’s painfully easy for me to see through people, but I must say they didn’t make it very hard to see that they were trying to nickel and dime us to death. (i.e. small upcharges in places that required no real extra work, changing prices and being vague and leaving gray areas). They were really unpleasant to communicate with for me, as someone with anxiety who knows they’re being taken advantage of but in the moment it can be intimidating to bring those things up. (THANK GOODNESS FOR MY COORDINATOR!)
I continued to choose this venue because it’s beautiful, the staff was AWESOME, I REALLY loved the food after speaking with the chef. All in all, This would be 5 out of 5 if management were friendlier and provided reasonable explanations for their pricing. The worst was leading us to believe the 3 dishes we choose for the different prices, we would be paying that amount, for that dish. Apparently we pay whatever the highest amount is, for example steak is $70.00 but chicken is $60.00. If one person chooses steak for $70.00 but the rest of the guests choose chicken, the chicken plates will still be charged at $70.00.
