BOOK SAM! She is absolutely incredible and talented in every way and her work is PERFECTION, and she is also just such a gem of a human being in every way possible. She is a ray of sunshine and has the most optimistic pure energy of almost anyone I've ever met. She will hype you up the entire time she shoots and make you feel so comfortable and happy. We were nervous before our first engagement shoot as we had never done a photoshoot before, but any fears were dissolved immediately when we met Sam. She is so bubbly and sweet! Our wedding photos were absolute perfection and you can just tell that Sam put her entire self into making sure they turned out perfectly. We just look so happy and comfortable in all the photos- she captured our love perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. She is the absolute best!!!! -

Sam was truly amazing! She made us feel comfortable and cared for. On the wedding day, this helped us open up and be present in the photos. Her work really captured the day in a way that is both authentic and beautiful! Also, her expertise as a wedding photographer was helpful in all aspects of our wedding planning. Sam made sure we thought of everything and gave us input and recommendations along the way. Additionally, we did an engagement session with Sam that really set the tone and got us excited about the big day. The photos were absolutely perfect! We are so happy to have all these special memories forever preserved in the collection’s Sam created for us. -

Very talented individual (her jokes are really good too!)
Sam is one of a kind gem. She is such a talented photographer I would highly suggest her to others.
During our session she was always prompting us with poses and ways to look or silly movements to do, which resulted in amazing shots that were very natural and cadidate. Her energy and desire to get the best photos really made the whole event go so smoothly. It took the awkwardness and pressure off us and made it such a rememberable time.
Sam does have keen eye for details. She made sure everything was perfect for the shots. Often she adjusted my hair or my fiance's shirt and after the shoot she made sure to edit the photos to perfection, like in once case she removed graffiti in the background.
She had great ideas on places to shoot in the area and seemed to be looking into more for the future. She also took advantage of sporadic events (lighting, lack of people, even a farriswheel on the bridge) that could make the photos even better.
I felt very lucky to have the opportunity to book her and feel she is one of a kind photographer that the area is lucky to have. -

No words describe how incredible Sam and her husband are, but I will do my best with this review!
I have followed Sam's photography career since she started and knew I would call on her when it was time for my wedding! To see her photos is to know she is an incredible talent, but to work with her is to know that she has the most amazing eye and ability to turn the smallest moments into pure magic.
Sam's intake process is so seamless and helpful that you know you are in good hands! She was highly responsive and happily answered all my silly early-bride questions. She was a fantastic resource early on and helped me understand how I wanted my wedding day to run.
As we got closer to my wedding day, I was impressed by her thorough planning process. She makes it clear that she wants to get to know her couples personally and understand your exact specifications for the day. When we had our final call, there was hardly anything to review because she was on top of things from the start. She put together such a detailed day of schedule for us, and it was such a massive help for our bridal party and vendors. It helped cut my planning time in half the week of the wedding, and I couldn't have been more grateful.
On our wedding day, the bridal party ran behind by an hour, and Sam couldn't have been calmer and more collected. She pivoted gracefully and got the most fabulous getting-ready photos in our truncated time frame. Despite the setback, she was professional and still upbeat - it helped me manage my heightened nerves that morning.
Her photos throughout the day were nothing short of stunning! Sam's photos were so outstanding that the wedding venue featured my husband and me on their social media channels for the upcoming season. Sam and her husband, Mike, captured our beautiful fall wedding so perfectly that the foliage pops in every photo. She will go to any lengths to get the most magical photos for her couples - she even had Mike stomp on a hornet's nest that was getting in the way of one of our shots! After this short brush with danger (luckily, Mike was just as dedicated to getting the shot), we received one of the most stunning photos from the day! I mean, where can you get service like that?!!
The rest of the photos were more impressive than the next! Sam and Mike captured the beauty, fall magic, love, friendship, and celebration in every photo. I never like to be photographed, and Sam made me look and feel like a princess! I can't stop looking at these photos - my husband and I were in tears when we received our gallery. As they've surfaced on social media, the incredible feedback and compliments keep pouring in even 3 weeks later!

Erika Sent on 07/02/2024Fun, Genuine, Timeless, Accomodating- BEST OF THE BEST
Samantha is the BEST of the BEST. She is patient, kind, funny, warm, and INCREDIBLE at what she does. Every step of the way I felt like Samantha was truly taking in what WE wanted in capturing our day. There wasn't a photo that I felt we didn't get because she took the time and care to get to know us and what we really wanted in capturing our special day. She truly is perfect in every setting - making you feel SO comfortable in those 1:1 or couple shots but can command the room (in the friendliest way) when you have (what feels like) 200 family group photos to fly through.
We were lucky enough to have Sam's husband as a set of hands at our wedding which added to our experience even more. They communicate so well and work effortlessly together. It was such a bonus having Mike there!
Sam's photos are absolutely timeless. We really wanted someone who felt modern but wasn't crazy with filters/edits. When I look back at my pictures I couldn't be happier. They're perfectly edited and really feel like they captured the essence of our day. We didn't have a videographer but I feel like I'm reliving our wedding day when I look back at my pictures because of Sam's talent and artistry.
Mother nature was not on our side on our wedding day but looking back at our photos you would never be able to tell. I remember that morning Sam let me know she had a plan B & plan C if the weather didn't turn around. I didn't stress at all because I had all the confidence that she had it under control and she absolutely did. On our rainy November wedding she managed to take the most BEAUTIFUL pictures of us outside, all while keeping my hair dry! She moved so quickly with the space around her, she got SO many pictures of us outside and I swear we were out there for 5 minutes. Whatever you're up for that day and whatever the weather is doing Sam will make it work and make it work BEAUTIFULLY and SEAMLESSLY.
If you book Sam your wants/needs WILL be heard and respected, you will laugh literally ALL day, you will want to book her again and again and again (if only to just hang out with her) and you will be blown away at the moments she captured. We couldn't love her more and we're SO happy we chose Sam to be responsible for such an important part of our wedding!!

You need Sam in your life
Sam (and her hubby, who occasionally assists her) are wonderful photographers and even better people! Sam started out photographing my engagement, and that turned into her photographing my wedding, my maternity photos, my daughter's newborn photos, and most recently my daughter's 1st birthday photos. I have recommended her to so many of my friends to capture their big life moments, and it's always so fun to see her at their events! She's not a normal photographer... she's a cool photographer (IYKYK). In all seriousness, though, she is the only person I trust to document all of my favorite memories for me to look back on. She helps you feel at ease during the time she's photographing, I know she'll capture every precious moment, the turnaround time to receive photos is super quick, and every single photo is beautiful. I have a file on my iCloud titled "Sam photos," and I look forward to adding more sub-files to it! -

Oh boy, where do I start? I hate how I look in photos and as a result have almost none of me. But Sam made the entire process effortless. She made sure I was comfortable, made me laugh and smile so that I forgot someone was there. Not only that but the photos turned out amazing! We have multiple prints throughout the house. The family still uses her photos anytime someone brings up the wedding. Could not have a better person for your special day. -

I met Sam at a mutual friends house and we immediately connected when talking about my wedding day—and I didn’t even have the ring yet! Once the ring came, I knew who I wanted to capture our special day. The first date we had picked, Sam was actually booked, so I changed my date to a date she was available!! And I am so glad I did. She was amazing from start to finish. My husband is not a fan of taking pictures at all and my biggest fear was getting the pictures back and hating them because of his fake smile he always does—Sam had him genuinely smiling all day long and I couldn’t be happier with every photo captured. I am so thankful she captured our special day. Her professionalism and passion for her work and clients is top notch. 10/10! -

She’s professional, calm, organized, and still SO much fun. She has an eye for locations, angles, and details - always captures the most important things and moments in time. Sam will have you laughing until your stomach hurts. And she’s honest and real. It takes a special person to make you feel entirely comfortable right from the start.
