If anything truly set the atmosphere for this wedding, it was Sam. From the moment he arrived and began a prelude of classical songs as guests arrived and were seated, I could tell he was the right choice. During the reception we were treated to a mixture a blues, jazz and folk songs that had everyone smiling and tapping their feet. His presence and humor melded perfectly with his collection of songs, all of which had his own personal twist. In short, Sam is a true performer. If you are looking to make your wedding truly unique, then he is your man. Our experience was anything but ordinary.

What we loved most about working with Sam was his flexibility. We had a very clear picture of what our wedding would look like and upon conveying this to him, he was confident he could make it happen! Sam was clear from the start about what he needed from us, and from our perspective, we appreciated knowing we were getting exactly what we wanted. We also had a friend sing our first song (while he accompanied her with guitar), and Sam was willing to meet with her the evening before the wedding for a run through (I didn't even know they had worked that out! We had so many other things on our minds). Sam's warmth is made clear through his music and looking back on what we felt was a perfect day, his talent and passion for what he does was one of the aspects that made it so special.

I like to think that we were gifted Sam Pacetti at our wedding, rather than him being hired to play. While candles were lit, and food prepared, Sam quietly set up in the corner of the room and effortlessly and unobtrusively began to slowly captivate the wedding guests. Everyone from children to grandparents were mesmerized. Can’t say enough about what a lasting impression Sam left, he draws from a deep well of timeless musical talent. Sam Pacetti’s sound is a perfect marriage of acoustic guitar playing and soul stirring lyrics. Much praise to Sam for his ability to enhance an already magical day - he weaved a spell on the wedding party that left us feeling very fortunate to hear him in such an intimate setting! Thanks Sam, fans now for life!

Sam offers at broad spectrum of quality professional music, second to none. He is well versed in all genres. We were very lucky to have had him perform for us and our guest. He was very professional and was very prepared and had everything set up and ready to play at the appointed time. Many of our out of town guest commented on how great the music was and of course our locals knew of Sam. If you are looking for exceptional talent Sam is definatley the very best.

Sam Pacetti is a first-class, amazing musician and we are so fortunate that we made the decision to hire him to play the music for our ceremony. I stumbled across him online, not knowing he was a bit of legend here in town. His ability to beautifully play classical music on an acoustic guitar blew me away. Although he plays much more than classical, it was just what I was looking for.
He entertained our guests while they settled into to their seats. When I was standing next to my father, nervously waiting for our walk down the aisle, I heard him start to play the first of the songs we’d agreed upon for the procession and tears filled my eyes. The music was so incredibly beautiful. I peeked out the window to see my son wheeling my 94-year old grandmother down the aisle to her seat and I almost started bawling as it was such a beautiful visual against the backdrop of my lovely venue and the most gorgeous sounds emanating from Sam’s fingers and guitar. The sweet music set the mood for the exact wedding ceremony I had hoped for.
I can’t thank Sam enough for his contribution to one of the most important days of our lives. He was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. I sent him an online request and heard back within a couple hours. We discussed what I wanted, what he offers and price. He offered to learn songs if I wanted. He sent me some suggestions based on what I told him I thought we’d like. He also sent videos of himself playing some of those. Sam followed up with me a few times before the wedding. On the big day, he was there on-time, set-up and ready to roll, like a true professional.
My guests raved about him. He put everyone in a relaxed, joyful mood. Who could ask for more?
To this day, if we hear one of the songs that he played at any point in our ceremony, I tear up and my husband and I hug automatically. I don’t even hear the music being played; I hear the memory of Sam playing it.

Sam was absolutely amazing! His music brought both me and my guests to tears, so touching and beautiful. Sam was also very professional and responsive prior to the wedding, offering selections that we might want to include. It rained at our ceremony and we had to do a lot of improvising and Sam remained positive and flexible... So glad he was part of our big day!

Sam Pacetti performed at our rehearsal dinner at Meehan's Irish Pub in St. Augustine, FL. We booked him at the last minute and we are so glad we found him! We had a number of seasoned guitar players in our group and each of them went out of their way to mention to us how amazingly talented Sam is. He kept the laid back mellow vibe we were looking for. He does a great job of setting the atmosphere for your party! We would definitely recommend him.

He met with us to discuss music and had some great suggestions that ended up working out very well. I was pretty shocked at what he was able to play. His music brought tears to my mother's eyes. He was very professional, showed up early, and was open and fair with his rates. Having a great musican who is also a very nice guy made such a huge difference in making our wedding even more special than we could have hoped for.

Sam is an incredible guitarist and singer. We hired him for purely instrumental music and he delivered magnificently. He aided us in choosing the appropriate music, which was mainly classical, learned our request for my bridal procession and did so without a hitch. He paid close attention to the proceedings and didn't miss a cue! Thanks, Sam!

I can't say enough good things about Sam Pacetti his contribution to our special day. He was calm, considerate, punctual, and his music was simply magical. He's simply a brilliant musician and a consumate professional through and through.

We were married in St. Augsutine in a castle with limited and environmentally challenging spaces for playing music. He played solo and made it work perfectly without us having to get involved or worry one bit. When he broke down his equipment after the ceremony, Sam transfered between locations virtually unseen and was fully set up and playing (with a band!) before the first guest even arrived at the reception venue. He made it so easy and stress-free from the moment he arrived at the castle, to the minute he stepped out the door from our reception location.

For the quality of service and the AMAZING music, Sam Pacetti is by FAR the best you will find. I recommend him to anyone looking for brilliant music, accommodating service, zero-hassle and an amazing attitude.

Sam's contribution honestly put the "special" in our special wedding day. He's the best. Thank you Sam!

Sam was awesome! He is truly family. Plays beautifully. Amazing sound! Can learn any song that is wanted in few hours too! And can deal with some crazy Mothers of the Bride wonderfully. He is truly a huge asset to and wedding adventure!

His repertoire ranges anywhere from Leo Kottke, Richard Thompson, Bob Dylan, to Lyle Lovett, Tom Petty and countless others. Sam is also a gifted songwriter in his own right.

We first started watching Sam in a local Saint Augustine restaurant and have had many enjoyable nights listening and mesmerizing over his ability to play so many different styles of music. Since he played two different events, he made sure that the playlists were different. Sam worked with the photographer to make sure his breaks either had background music or not, depending if we were cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet, or saying our toast. I did not have to coordinate a thing.

Sam provided ceremony and cocktail hour music for our daughter's wedding recently at Hammock Beach Resort in St. Augustine Florida. He is an amazingly talented guitarist who can play anything from classical to more current selections to jazz. He was able to learn songs that my daughter specifically wanted for her ceremony and was wonderful about recommending ceremony music that he felt most appropriate to the the service. Sam was the consummate professional, easy going, prompt in returning calls and emails. He made for a very stress free event and we did not have to worry at all about the music or the set up. He was able to move quickly from the ceremony site to the cocktail hour site without missing a beat! This was a destination wedding so we did all our communication long distance and it worked out perfectly! He was recommended by other musicians in the St. Augustine area.

Sam provided ceremony and cocktail hour music for our daughter's wedding recently at Hammock Beach Resort in St. Augustine Florida. He is an amazingly talented guitarist who can play anything from classical to more current selections to jazz. He was able to learn songs that my daughter specifically wanted for her ceremony and was wonderful about recommending ceremony music that he felt most appropriate to the the service. Our wedding musician search was a quite extensive journey. We would find someone with talent, but not find them professional. There would be someone professional but not with the talent we wanted. We stumbled across Sam Pacetti, while he was performing one evening at a local pub in downtown St. Augustine, and instantly needed to know if he did weddings.
The next day I received a call from Sam saying he was now available for the evening but not the morning or the night before. Sam took all of our requests when setting up a list of songs (he provided us an extensive list of his repertoire.) He even took the time to learn a new instrumental piece that we had wanted.
The wedding day Sam showed up early, and brought all of his gear and set up for ceremony and reception on his own. He played wonderfully the entire time, and even played an ipad playlist during breaks with other songs we had selected!

Overall Sam Pacetti was the perfect choice. He provided professionalism and outstanding talent for us, and we couldn't have been more elated! The only downfall throughout the entire process was Sam's availability. We wish we could have had him for the rehearsal dinner as well, but this of course is all very understandable, as he is a talented musician, and therefore booked. Always prompt in getting back to us throughout the process.
We DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone who wants musicianship of the highest caliber for their wedding!

Sam learned the specific song we wanted to have played during our ceremony and performed it beautifully. His gentle, accommodating demeanor and professionalism meant it was one less thing we had to worry about on the big day. Would not hesitate to hire again.
