  Hiring Salt City Sound Machine was one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding. Jason kept the party moving unlike anything I could've imagined. Jason was attentive to our wants, worked with our music selections, and improved on them. I would recommend his business to anyone who wants their wedding to be a blast on the dance floor.

  Salt city sound machine was the perfect fit to our wedding. Jason was so easy to work with and even went the extra mile and customized a few songs for me. I've gotten so many compliments about how great the music was-one person told me I t was the best wedding music she's ever experienced! The vibes we nothing but fantastic at my wedding and I have Jason at salt city sound machine to thank for it. If you're on the fence or still looking for a dj for your wedding LOOK NO FURTHER. A+

  Jason was the most amazing DJ we could have ever asked for. He went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we wanted, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. He was prompt with responding to emails, flexible in setting up a meeting time, and overall just good natured about everything we discussed. We didn't give him a specific playlist, just a handful of songs we didn't want to hear, but the mix of music that he played was absolutely perfect; it suited all ages and crowds. I can't say enough good things about Salt City Sound Machine! You will NOT be disappointed if you choose them for your wedding.

  There is a reason Jason has been rated best wedding DJ in Syracuse! He is extremely professional and goes above and beyond the duties of a DJ. He also has some awesome options that other DJs don’t offer. He is so experienced he will ask questions you don’t even know you need to have answers to, this makes him extremely prepared for anything that arises throughout the night.

  Jason was an incredible DJ! He played for our August 2015 wedding and ran our entire reception perfectly. He was very organized and responsive to wait my husband and I were wanting for our reception. We had a Sunday wedding and were worried about people ducking out early but they were all on the dance floor for hours! People are still talking about how much fun our wedding was, all because of Jason!!!

  Wedding DJ October 2024

  Jason is the man! We met him through one of his weekly trivia games, and knew he was the perfect MC! We booked him as our wedding DJ for October 2024. Overall, he is an organized, chill guy that helps keep stress low throughout the whole wedding planning process. He played every song we requested, and the guests loved him! He was high-energy and showed "no mercy" on the dance floor. If you're looking for an awesome DJ with a great sense of humor for your special day, then Salt City Sound Machine is the perfect match!

  Our wedding was perfect in so many ways, but one of the best choices we made in the entire process was selecting Jason at Salt City Sound Machine to be the DJ and emcee of our evening.
  
  From our first conversation, I could tell that Jason was someone who was going to be a delight to work with. Every single time we spoke, he was friendly and accommodating, but also helped guide us to a better overall wedding. Jason clearly has the experience to know the appropriate time frames necessary for each beat of the night to work in the most effective manner, and took the time to explain each of those beats to us.
  
  We had a meeting with Jason before the event where we explained to him what we did and did not want our reception to sound like. Fast forward to the day of the event, and he followed our guidelines perfectly. There was not a single song that I thought, "Why is he playing this song?". He heard what we wanted and made the perfect song choices. He had a great sense of what would get the crowd up and moving, and when the key times to throw a slow song in were. I received many compliments on how great the music was.
  
  Finally, Jason is clearly just a fun and nice guy. We had a great time talking to him every time leading up to the wedding, and he was funny and charming to all of our guests. We were initially hesitant about the idea of having a wedding DJ, but Salt City Sound Machine was worth every penny.

  Great, Affordable, Talented DJ!!!

  The Salt City Sound Machine was the perfect choice for a DJ for my wedding. Jason was AMAZING and truly made the night by keeping the energy alive, and helping to produce a great playlist. He sought my input for the songs I wanted to play and didn't want to play, and he respected that - he played all of the songs I requested, as well as a few that he artistically added, and he took requests from guests as well! He was communicative and responsive throughout the process, which helped alleviate a lot of stress during the wedding planning process. All of my guests really enjoyed him as our DJ , and we did as well. You can't go wrong with him!

  The swifties #BowmanBound

  Jason is amazing he made my wedding perfect ! We had a mix of age groups and he mixed the music up to fit everyone and he was a great MC !!!! He also got an amazing pic of my husband and I during our first dance ! I highly recommend booking for your wedding or next big event !!!   Jason was an awesome DJ for our wedding! He kept the party going all night long and played the requests of numerous guests. Setting up meetings was easy and he was always very responsive! When we lost our original wedding venue, he called me before I could even contact him!

  Jason was an amazing DJ for our wedding. Being that my family has Caribbean roots, Jason had a tall order to fill to mix reggae, soca and punta into his playlist. He did an exceptional job. He even went above and beyond and did his own research. Because of Jason's professionalism and care, both of our cultures were incorporated in our wedding and everyone had a blast. My family is still messaging me about how amazing the DJ was, and wondered how he knew what hits to play from our culture.
  
  Beyond the music playlist, Jason did a great job of making our day special. We met a few times to discuss aspects of the wedding. I honestly felt like his attention to detail made him serve partially as a wedding planner as well. Jason was always attentive and professional.

He made the process easy by having an informative meeting where we went over the contract, discussed the wedding, and asked/answered questions. We then had another meeting closer to the wedding where we shared specific music choices and scheduling. On the day of the wedding, Jason was ready and prepared hours before the ceremony started. He made a wonderful impression on our families, bridal parties, guests, and the staff at our venue. Jason did exactly what we wanted and more. The dance floor was full all night and everyone had a wonderful time. After the wedding, Jason kindly sent us some wonderful keepsakes. We 100% recommend Jason for weddings and events.

  The best DJ!

  We planned our wedding out of state & Jason made it super easy to do so. He was accommodating with all of the different visions we had for our day & everything was executed perfectly! The dance floor was crowded all night long- couldn’t recommend more!

Our guests loved him so much they went behind my back and paid him to stay an extra hour after our reception was supposed to end! He was so fun and great and I can't imagine having anyone else DJ my ceremony and reception!

  Jason was amazing. He was so helpful from our very first meeting all the way up until the end. He has great ideas to make your day special and unique and he is so responsive when you have questions or ideas of your own!   Best decision on a DJ

  This was definitely the right the decision for a wedding.Jason did our ceremony and reception and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. From our first meeting until after the wedding. He was always there with fast response times and last minute changes. He made the night run so smooth and kept the dance floor full.

He was great with our guests and their requests, played all the songs we suggested and made some great choices of his own that fit in perfectly with our style. He was super attentive and responded quickly to questions, and handled a couple of last minute changes/mistake with no issues. He also helped us a ton when it came to scheduling the timeline of evening which was a great relief!
