    Love Salem Trolley!

    We highly recommend Salem Trolley! Tammy was a pleasure to work with, and gave great advice that helped us save money in booking the right number of trolleys for our big day. Like so many other couples, in early March of 2020, we quickly realized that the day we originally had planned wasn’t going to work, and that we’d need to change our wedding due to COVID-19. Tammy was incredibly helpful as we navigated this decision with our vendors. Thank you so much to Tammy and Salem Trolley!

    Tammy and the rest of the trolley staff were awesome and so accommodating for our wedding! They had the trolley stick around an extra 30 mins so we could take photos with the wedding party on the trolley after the ceremony. Such a great way to travel to and from our wedding! So glad we booked with them instead of a limo or bus company.

    So glad we went decided to get a trolley vs a limo. Salem Trolley was very easy to work with and didn't disappoint! We were able to have all immediate family, bridal party and groomsmen all on board. We did a first look session and stopped along the ocean to take pictures before the ceremony. Best way for all our friends and family to see the scenic drive along the North Shore of Boston that we love so much. Tammy was so wonderful, if you see them at a bridal show. Stop and talk to them, it is worth the stop!

    Loved having a trolley as our wedding transportation! We had the perfect day for it, and our bridal party and family loved rolling around Rockport and Gloucester in the trolley. Funny story, I let my fiance (at the time) plan the transportation for us, and he had told me he booked a white trolley. When the green trolley came to pick me up I was a little disappointed, but then I realized that this trolley was more authentic!! The name of our driver is escaping me, but he was so great, calm, and entertaining too.

    Salem Trolley was amazing. Our transportation had fallen through a few weeks before the wedding. Salem Trolley was able to accomodate us and ended up being one of my favorite parts of thr wedding. They were very affordable (best price I could find by far) and so much fun! Guests loved the trolley and our driver was fantastic. We had them from 330pm-1am and it was very reasonable (they do not charge as much for any downtime). Our driver went to multiple locations and everyone arrived on time if not early for our ceremony. So great would 100% use them again for another function!

    We wanted a very "Salem" wedding and just knew we had to use the Salem Trolley. We were pleasantly surprised when we actually received a mini tour while the bridal party was being shuttled around Salem for pictures! The guests that were shuttled from the area hotels also told us how much they enjoyed the mini tour and how friendly the driver was! Tammy worked with us to accommodate another event going on at the same time and she was so easy to work with from start to finish!

    I would definitely use the Salem Trolley again! Super fun, great driver, affordable, and most importantly ON TIME! We use the trolley to transport the wedding party and guests from our hotel to our ceremony to reception space and then back to the hotel at the end of the night. Good way to prevent drinking and driving.

    Also, general manager Tammy Harrington was super helpful in planning all the trips back and forth. Worth every penny!

    Initially, we weren't going to arrange any transportation, but two weeks before the wedding we decided that we needed a back-up plan in case it rained and if we wanted wedding party photos outside of the hotel or wedding/reception venue. We contacted a few places, but all were pricier than we liked. Salem Trolley offered a great price and served our purposes, but admittedly, we weren't looking for all the bells and whistles the other providers included in their rates.
    Our driver showed up on time, took wherever we wanted for photos and, after dropping us off at the hall, served as a shuttle for guests staying at the local hotels. Exactly what we wanted. I have no complaints and would definitely use them again.

    We had to change the location of our ceremony and changed all of our plans for our guests to ride the trolley. So having the trolley come and not sure if it was going to be used at all was scary... but then the rain stopped, and they were there right when we got the opportunity to run down to the beach for pictures!

    Thank you for being so FLEXIBLE and PERFECT!

    they are clean, pretty, and the driver did anything we needed/wanted.
    They were fun and had PERFECT timing.

    We hired Salem Trolley to provide transportation to and from the hotel and wedding venue, and it added a really nice touch to our wedding day! My husband and I were lucky enough to get to ride back in the trolley, and we had a really fun time. The driver was very friendly, everything ran on time, the planning with Tammy ahead of time was straightforward, and it added a nice vintage touch. It’s more expensive than hiring a school bus, but in my opinion, worth the extra cost!

    Trolley worked out perfect! It picked up our groomsmen at one spot, dropped them at the Church and then came to pick up me and the girls! Such an easy way to get the bridal party and immediate family to where they had to be and on time! They arrived early which was great! Everyone commented it was such a fun and unique was to have transportation! Much better than a boring limo! Made for some really cute pictures too!

    Salem Trolley was wonderful to work with! Tammy was always friendly and helpful through the booking process. Joel, our driver was friendly and professional. The trolley was beautiful and made our pictures awesome! Plus it was so fun to be able to transport such a large group! All of our bridal party (12 people) my parents, the groom's parents, my brother and sister-in-law and their 3 daughters (flower girls) all rode the trolley for a total of 23 people. For only a little more than what a limo would have cost for the same duration of time, the trolley was so much more fun and so much more our style. I definitely found the best rates at Salem Trolley and I loved that they had the red and green traditional style trolley as I didn't love the all white wedding trolley. I would definitely recommend Salem Trolley. So worth the price!

    We used Salem Trolley to transport our guests between two hotels and our ceremony site in Beverly and reception site in Salem. I specifically wanted a trolley to give our guests that experience and Salem trolley was more reasonably priced compared to other transportation companies I looked at. I have to say, on the day of the wedding I was very worried because almost every wedding I have been to has had some sort of issue with guest transportation being late, getting stuck in traffic, and just being unreliable in general. But to my relief the trolley showed up on time, driving between 4 locations without any issues and delivered all of the guests to the ceremony on time. My bridesmaids and I arrived in an SUV and we were waiting on a side street where we could see the front enterance/parking lot, and when I saw the trolley drive up to bring the last group of guests 10 minutes before the scehduled ceremony start time, I was SO happy and the whole thing became real - I will never forget that moment. After the ceremony, we stayed to take pictures with the wedding party while the trolley took the guests to the reception site. We were actually running about 20 minutes late after taking pictures, and the trolley driver stayed overtime for us which was greatly appreciated. I was surprised at how expensive all wedding guest transportation is, but if you are looking for the best deal on a trolley in or around Salem with drivers who are on time and know the area, I would highly recommend Salem Trolley.

    We used them as transport for our wedding party to the reception, and for all guests to the reception and back to the hotel after the wedding to avoid driving. Great atmosphere and guests had a blast!

    We used Salem Trolley as our wedding party transportation for our August 2013 wedding. Our driver was Charlie and he was great- showed up early, knew the area well and was always where he was supposed to be at the right time. He was friendly to us and our friends and family. The trolleys are open air only- this was not a problem for us as we did not have a long ride and the weather was just right. There was also no working radio on the trolley, which was a bummer, but fortunately we had our own speak with music. I requested a trolley with no ads and they were able to accommodate my request. Working with the folks at Salem Trolley was easy- they were very responsive to my calls and emails and they were even able to add an extra half hour to our reservation just a couple weeks before our wedding. I found the prices just a little high for just the basics. ie. no coolers, AC or radio. However the service and professionalism was worth the value.

    We used the Salem Trolley to transport our guests from the reception venue to our ceremony location and then back to the reception. They were great! They made as many trips as it took to get all the guests to the ceremony, and then pick up the groom/groomsmen and the me and my bridesmaids. They were very flexible with what I wanted to do for the plan. They also arrived at my reception venue two hours early, so I didn't have to stress about them being late. A little on the pricey side, but was worth it so my guests didn't have to drive all over if they didn't want to.

    We had a wonderful driver and he was really flexible with where we wanted tto go and at what time. I found that the actual trolley came out fabulous in pictures, also!

    I used the Salem Trolley for my recent wedding. I did a lot of research regarding prices because I had quite a few people to transport from my hotel to church to the reception. I was excited to see that if I chartered with Salem Trolley the prices were comparable to renting a bus limo. The company was fairly easy to get in touch with, although I do live in Salem so I could easily go right to the office.

    On to wedding day...

    It was my understanding that trolley will be calling us when they arrived at my hotel to pick up the girls ans myself. I was told that the trolley will contact the front desk and call up to the room. Never got the call. It was my makeup artist that called me that the trolley was waiting outside. This did not really bother me because we still made it to the church on time.

    The only thing about the experience that upset me was the Trolley took me and my entire wedding party down the highway on the way to the reception. I was not too thrilled that prior to my FORMAL PHOTOS, I had to endure a VERY windy ride. (my ceremony site and reception were all in the same town). Yes we were running very close on time, but the driver could of asked or warned us.

    All in all the Salem Trolley did put a special spin on the day. Maybe I should of been upfront about no highways.

    I used the trolley both as guest transportation and for me and the bridal party. The driver got didn’t have directions to get to the church from my in-laws house, where my husband and the groomsmen were getting ready. One of the groomsmen had to show her where to go. They reached a bridge that the trolley couldn’t fit under, and then the driver got lost trying to go around it, making her 30 minutes late picking up the guests to bring them to the church. Then my father had to give her directions to take us from the hotel to the church. Not a big deal, but I would think they would be prepared in advance. Lawrence is a confusing city, so this would be understandable. What bothered me was that when we called to see why the trolley was late, she said the groomsmen were 20 minutes late leaving the house, which turned out not to be true. One of the groomsmen did forget his jacket but the had only gone a block. Luckily I had built in extra time, so the ceremony only started 15 minutes late.

    I hate to give such low scores on a review, but they didn't show up!!! Luckily this was the only thing that went wrong with the whole wedding (and people say at least one thing goes wrong, it just happens). Worse of all, my guests and myself were all late to the church because we were waiting around at the hotel for the trolley. Last minute, my dad was able to swing around the mini-van to take myself, maid of honor, and MOB to the church. However, a mini-van is not as cool as a trolley.

    When we went to the office to straighten things out the next day, the woman there called the driver and he first tried to lie and say he came (to which we said we had 120 witnesses on our side), but eventually he admitted he took the day off. We did get all our money back, plus an extra $100, which is what I would have expected at the very least.

    Very Disappointed in this COMPANY !
    I contracted a trolley for my daughters wedding, and they were a NO SHOW. The ONLY thing that spoiled the entire wedding. It was a cold day in January and I thought providing transportation between the hotel and the church would be a nice touch. I made an extra effort in telling all of my guests about it. NO TROLLEY, NO CALL, NO SHOW. Instead of walking my daughter down the aisle, I was playing taxi driver for all my guests.
