We had our wedding on November 9th, 2024, and Safari Texas did not disappoint! The ambiance of the Safari Lodge and Chapel was absolutely amazing and created the perfect setting for our special day. Our guests loved everything about the wedding, especially the food and open bar.

We loved that everything was all-inclusive and handled in-house, which made the entire planning process so much easier. The food was absolutely AMAZING, and we received so many compliments from our guests saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Huge kudos to the chef!

We also chose the premium drink package, and it was worth every penny! Our guests had so much fun taking pictures with the peacocks and zebra, which made the experience even more memorable. It was truly a day we will never forget.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our wedding and day-of coordinator, Cassidy. She was absolutely amazing to work with and helped bring our wedding ideas, plans, and vision to life. One example was my dream of having a boba station.

Cassidy was incredibly easy to work with, friendly, proactive, and professional. She was always responsive and timely with emails and calls. She truly went above and beyond and helped save our wedding day. Thanks to her and her team, everything ran smoothly and perfectly.

From our very first meeting to the flawless execution of our big day, she provided amazing support and unparalleled flexibility. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue experience. From the very beginning, Shelby (the manager/planner) and Allison (the owner) were incredibly understanding, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. You can truly tell how much they care about their clients—they went above and beyond for us every step of the way.

They were so flexible with our vision and made customizations happen that meant a lot to us. For example, they accommodated our request to have crepes served with our Peking duck instead of the traditional bao, and they worked with us to create a banh mi charcuterie board exactly how we envisioned it, down to the specific meats we wanted. Allison even sourced a special Johnnie Walker bottle for our VIP guests, which was such a thoughtful touch.

They also went the extra mile in ways we didn’t expect—when we had some last-minute guest cancellations, they offered us a boba bar so we could still get the most out of what we had already paid for. That level of care and consideration meant so much to us.

A huge shoutout as well to the in-house catering chef—the food was absolutely incredible. The banh mi charcuterie board was a massive hit, and we’ve had so many guests reach out asking where they can order it for their own events!

It was our son's wedding. We selected Safari Texas Ranch based on our previous experiences as guests. It is a wonderful place with multiple venues and can cater to guests of varied sizes. As the hosts of our event, we got excellent service from the management and Shelby, our point person. She was always prompt and eager to help. The food was terrific and tasty. The guests spoke highly about the venue and food. Overall, we could not have selected a better place. It will always be a special place in our memory where our only son got married.

Even my wedding coordinator RAVED about how seamless it was to work with Chloe Jemmerson and Safari Texas Ranch. I was personally BLOWN AWAY! Our vow renewal reception went off without a human hitch (burn ban prevented the fireworks). I could reach out to Chloe personally and she would respond in 24 hours or less (even on her off days)! And the value for the money was phenominal! We paid for our daughter's wedding ten years ago. Safari was definitely a comparable venue. Their current price was comparable to the ten year ago price and even INCLUDED the open bar!! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We had a Gala in the Forum room, and the Staff at ST - namely Shelby R - was awesome. They were very accommodating, very flexible, made time for us and made us feel like we were their only customer. Shelby met with us several times and made changes as we needed. On the day of the event, Shelby was there and was able to accommodate a last minute meal change, and provided us with a last minute request of a microphone.
The table settings were very nice and we loved all the options that were available; Shelby was very helpful in that process also.

Shelby was our event coordinator. She did an amazing job. She made selecting our menu and table linens super easy. She made good suggestions and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and the servers were very professional and attentive. Our venue was the Forum room and it perfect for 50 attendee event. Safari Texas Ranch is a great place to host big life time events like weddings. Right from day one we saw this place we were in love with it with lots of peacocks around the big campus. Our event was a great success from the hall decor to the layouts to the food and drinks. The bartender kept our drinking guests engaged, the chefs had prepared a delicious variety of food items from different cuisines, the servers did a great job making sure our guests were served in time in a courteous manner. We want to give a special shoutout to Shelby who apart from overseeing all the above and was always available with a smiling face to ensure every aspect of the event went smoothly. Not to mention Allison, the owner, is passionate about how this place operates.

I’m not over exaggerating when I say it’s the best venue ever. The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. Shout out to Shelby (venue coordinator) who was very responsive and patient. The Infinity ballroom was definitely beautiful and had a Disney kind of vibe which was just perfect since I had an acoustic band playing all Disney music at the hallway. Food was delicious and plenty! My guests were full after the fifth dish. Boba bar was absolutely a hit and I’m glad we added it for underage kids. Overally it was a beautiful experience. My wedding couldn’t be successful without Safari Texas Ranch. It was our first option and also the best option. Definitely recommend!

This is a top shelf venue in every respect and they're very easy to work with and accommodating. I would absolutely make this choice again. In house chefs are outstanding. Service was excellent . Very happy with the process AND the product.

This wedding venue was absolutely perfect in every way! From the moment we arrived on the day of the wedding, we were captivated by the stunning, well-manicured garden. The vibrant dancing peacocks added such a magical touch, creating a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. The venue was impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully maintained. As for the food – it was a true highlight of the day! The blend of Indian and Cajun flavors was absolutely delicious, with each dish bringing its own rich, bold taste that wowed our guests. Every bite was a delightful fusion of spice and flavor, beautifully prepared and presented.

We were initially a bit nervous when we learned our original event planner could no longer be involved as she had to quit for personal reasons but Shelby, the new event manager who stepped in just a month before our event, exceeded all expectations. She did an outstanding job picking up where things were left off, making sure every detail was in place and that everything ran smoothly. Her dedication and professionalism truly made the difference, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service was impeccable, and we were so grateful for her calm and organized approach during the final weeks leading up to the wedding. Highly recommend this venue for its breathtaking setting, exceptional service, and mouthwatering cuisine!

The team at Safari Texas Ranch did a phenomenal job making our wedding dreams come true this past weekend. Beth Maklary was our main contact point and she was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state which was daunting, but Beth and her team made sure everything went smoothly. Our guests were so pleased with the food, bar and venue in general. Our photographers an videographers absolutely took advantage of the beautiful surroundings for our pics/video. We have had so many friends get married at this venue, we knew Safari was the right choice for us.

Beth was amazing and super responsive. She asked every question possible prior to the event and ensured everything was to our liking. She came to the event and stayed late as well.

Recently celebrated a wedding here in the Magnolia Ballroom for ~330 people. Working with the coordinators went so smoothly and they made sure to answer all the questions we had - regarding anything and everything!

We recently had our wedding at the Safari Lodge. It was breathtaking and everything I imagined and more. Alli helped us along the entire journey and we couldn't be more appreciative for everything she did for us. The communication was amazing and on the day of the wedding, she would consistently check in on us to see if we needed anything. She even above and beyond to help me find a last-minute makeup artist when mine didn't show up. We couldn't be happier to have had our special day here.

If you're debating where to have your wedding, look no further than Safari Texas Ranch. The next time we have an event, we're coming back here for our future daughters Quince, sweet 16, or any event really. We will forever recommend this place to everyone we know.

We had our wedding at safari Texas in October (Roman garden and palm pavilion room). Both areas were so gorgeous. Beth was our Safari coordinator and she was absolutely amazing to work with! She is so kind and truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect in ever way. We couldn’t have done it with out her.

Beautiful ballroom we had a guest count of around 450 and needed to accomodate for over 60 children. They had high chairs and buffet for the kids and made sure all our needs for our guests were met. Everyone loved the food and the bar was amazing!

Safari is a great affordable venue for weddings. Sohini was our catering manager, and she accommodated all our needs and made everything ran so smooth the day of. We loved working with her and she made our lives so easy. Would definitely recommend working with her!

We do not regret the decision of deciding to go with Safari Ranch as our wedding venue. It turned out perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and thoughtfulness that provided by the staff. Our venue spokesperson was Alli and she was very detailed and thoughtful during the whole process. She accommodated to our every needs and was very flexible on our guest’s diet restrictions (providing separate plates based on dietary restrictions). My husband and I were not a couple that wanted a full blown wedding (we did it for our parents), but we do not regret it as everything went smooth and there was minimal stress involved with the assistance of Alli. I also appreciated that they are also not a type of venue who tries to charge for every upgrade (a lot of venues will charge you every dime and penny). We got a lot of compliments on the venue (roman gardens/magnolia) room. We didn’t feel the need to decorate much because the outdoor ceremony area and reception rooms were beautiful.

For purposes of describing our experience, I'll just share a letter of thanks that we sent to the venue after they hosted our reception:


Dear Safari Texas Ranch,

We wanted to let you know how deeply appreciative we are of your hosting and handling of our wedding reception of January 22 in your Infinity Ballroom. It really could not have gone better than it did, and we thank your staff for their efforts and hospitality. Not only was it a stress-free and wonderful experience for us, but our guests loved being there and gushed to us with praise - about the food, about the venue, and so on. So thank you again. This was the biggest night of our lives, and everything you did was noticed and felt, and we are so happy.

We’d like to just properly acknowledge with some specificity some of the people / aspects of the service:
The wait staff were so professional and courteous. Everything ran on time. And honestly, we didn’t even notice them. They were invisible in the best possible way, if that makes sense. They did a fantastic job!
The gentleman who were at the two bars were so nice and welcoming to our guests. We received many comments from our guests about what a good job they did!
There was a gentleman who was helping Sohini Tomar the night of our reception. I sincerely apologize - I cannot remember his name :( But as the groom, I spoke with him several times during the course of the night. He was so helpful and conscientious. He did many small things to help us without asking, and asked us about some of the big things. Particularly at the end of the night, he did us a great big favor by having the food and cake packed in such a neat and tidy manner. All of it was greatly appreciated. I wish I could remember his name, but it’s escaping me. Sohini will know!
A big thank you to everyone who we interacted with, even for a moment during the entire A-to-Z of engaging with your venue. The personnel in the office who we briefly spoke with when we dropped off payments. The personnel who hosted us during our tasting. I’m surely forgetting some people, but just know that everyone who helped us was wonderful.
The chefs! The food was incredible. Just to give some context, our menu had both Vietnamese and Indian food items. We know this is probably fairly irregular, and wanted to thank the administration for allowing us to have such a unique food experience for our guests. All of the guests loved it. I cannot emphasize this enough. And the food itself was incredible. I cannot tell you how many people on both sides of our wedding guests asked about the food, where was it from, etc, and just expressed how much they enjoyed it. We’ve all been to weddings where perhaps the venue is an A but the food is maybe a B or a C. We were so happy that the food for our party was incredible. Again, everyone really loved it - and to be very honest, this was a TOUGH crowd who you all wowed, who have all had their share of less-than-great Indian and Vietnamese dining experiences. You all did it beautifully.

And finally, a HUGE thank you to Sohini Tomar, who was our point of contact throughout the whole experience of planning and executing on our reception. She was so easy to work with, and we were always sure that Sohini listened to us and was able to address our particular concerns or sticking points to the best of her ability. That is honestly all you can want. We know for example that Sohini helped make sure that some late arriving guests were properly fed and seated, and it means alot to us that she was able to make them feel welcome without a hitch. Again, everything on 1/22 went beautifully, and we know how much of a big role Sohini played in making that happen for us.

We’ve tried to capture some of this feedback for you, so that we can properly acknowledge what a great experience you’ve provided to us on such an important occasion for both of our families. It’s not just our own feelings and observations, but the feelings and observations of our family and friends who also helped us considerably on that day and were also appreciative of all that you did, and the feelings of our guests who really just enjoyed the event and were happy to be there with us. That is to say, there’s been alot of feedback and it was all good.

There’s an expression that kids these days use: giving someone their flowers. Which is to say, making sure that someone deserving of praise and recognition is properly appreciated and acknowledged. We hope this letter gives you the feeling of receiving a bouquet of thanks from us. That is very much our intention :)

Our reception event was at Safari Texas Ranch. It is a beautiful venue and they have various sized ballrooms to fit any event and taste needs both outdoors and indoors. They have several customizable options for food / drinks and basic table chair decor..they even had an in-house Indian chef who could cater Indian food..our coordinator Sohini walked us through the entire process smoothly.she was very responsive to emails and phone calls. She worked with us to make critical decisions like guest count which drastically changed due to the Omicron situation. She also helped decide on food options and made appropriate suggestions without any imposition..During the event she kept checking in to make sure everything was smooth.. she immediately made a change to the table setup right when the event was about to start..the staff was very courteous and constantly coordinated any changes..we are very happy we choose Safari Texas Ranch for our event !!

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding at Safari Texas Ranch. Alyssa was especially helpful - from our first contact to the day of the event she was always available and working with us to help us plan the ideal day. We picked from the Halal Indian menu which had a great range of options, and again Alyssa was very helpful in putting together a menu that catered to all of our guests. Our ballroom was ready to go at 10 am the day of our event, and the staff on the day of the event were very friendly, professional and courteous, and the day-of coordinator helped ensure everything ran smoothly. The gold chargers and Chiavari chairs we added really helped make the room look even fancier, while the food was a big hit with all of our guests.

The only negative experience we had was with a person who claimed to be the owner of the property. Three hours before our event, as we were setting up the room, the gentleman came in, arguing loudly with other customers, and sat at one of the tables we had already set up with our wedding favors. We didn't say anything and this went on for 20-25 minutes. When they left, we went to go fix the seat where he had moved everything around, and in that time he came back and yelled at us to "let him sit on HIS chair." This was extremely unprofessional behavior and unnecessary stress added to our day mere hours before our event. This individual needs to learn how to deal with customers, as he was the only negative part of our experience with Safari Texas, where the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and professional.

Just wanted to reach out to Safari Management and Staff and say "Thank You so much for all your help and guidance in making my Daughter's wedding a great success".
Kudos to Sohini. From start till the end, we could not have asked for any better support, you were very cooperative and easy to work with. Along the journey since last one and half year, you have exceeded our expectations. We all are very grateful to have you on our team from Safari. The venue was great and all the setup and amenities were awesome.

If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue that is not hours away from Houston look no further. Safari Texas has amazing venue space, professional staff and amazing service. Alyssa ( our event coordinator) went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. She helped make every part of the event perfect and even was forward thinking enough to ask me if I wanted gold chairs instead of the standard chairs they have in that particular venue because she noticed it would suit our decor better. Additionally, we catered Indian food through them and we received the highest compliments on the reception dinner! FOOD MATTERS! All in all an amazing experience.

Had the best experience i could have ever wanted from Texas Safari Ranch! Alli was wonderful and helped out so much throughout the entire process. They made sure everything that we asked for was what we got the day of our event. From the venue to the table set up to the food, everything was perfect! We had our son's graduation in May 2021 and we had an excellent event yesterday and the guests have been pouring accolades over the arrangements and the quality of the food. The entire staff was professional, courteous and were on top of their game. Special thanks to Alyssa Box for being there for almost of all of the event and making sure our needs were met. We just had our rehearsal dinner at the Safari Lodge and our Wedding Reception in the Grand Ball Room! Everything was amazing and it was so easy working with Alyssa planning the events. I have attended many functions at Safari Texas and have hosted a few and I am NEVER disappointed. ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!

Safari Texas is so hospitable! We hosted several wedding events with them and they left us speechless! Sohini was a dream to work with. She helped us with our vision and provided really great advice on parts of it. She was flexible when we had to make changes and was so gracious. I highly recommend that you book your next event at Safari Texas!

The accommodations for planning our outdoor wedding were great. A separate decorator apart from Safari Texas did our outdoor decorations. Sohini, from the staff at Safari Texas coordinated and organized our food tasting, and lunch on the day of the wedding turned out very well. She suggested having us taste a wide variety of dishes to get a more flavorful selection. Our guests were pleased with the food that was served. It had perfect spice, and our comments from our tasting were implemented by the chef. Forum Ball Room was set up elegantly with great lighting for lunch. They also offered us a free decorative plate on all the tables. That was the extent of their services, and it was done well.

By the way, the peacocks roaming around were a wonderful, majestic sight, enjoyed by all of our guests!

The whole experience was great! They helped with everything from booking to being present at the event to make sure everything was happening accordingly and within Covid guidelines.

I've have had two different daughters get married at Safari Texas, in two different ballrooms. (it is wonderful that they offer so many different ballrooms that are decorated differently to set a different mood.) We were extremely pleased both in 2017 and in February 2020. Both times we worked with Monica Coimbra to pick out our ballroom, linens, food and drink, table setup, etc. She is excellent at her job and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Safari Texas for any large event. I love that Safari Texas is all inclusive and we didn't have to hire so many separate vendors. The price we paid included appetizers, buffet dinner, drinks, champagne toast, linens, chair covers, servers, bartenders, etc. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves as Monica had everything under control. Our guests also had a fabulous time. The pictures included here are from the Magnolia Room.

Sohini and her team were a wonder. Sohini coordinated with us so well and accurately along the entire event that it was very calming to see someone willing to help so much. If we could recommend her to anyone, we’d say yes to her x1000. Thank you so much to Sohini and her team!

Alyssa at Texas Safari Ranch is honestly the best wedding coordinator you can have! We had a horrible experience elsewhere and came straight to Safari where Alyssa met with us the same day and was able to pick up everything. And we were not disappointed. She will make sure everything is perfect and will give you 110% of her time. If you don’t book with Safari and specifically ask for Alyssa you’re missing out. It’s a win win situation! Great place, awesome service, and the sweetest coordinator out there! Thanks Alyssa for making my brother and sister in laws wedding AMAZING!! We will forever appreciate you!

Many families have to conduct an extraordinary marriage event for the first time and that too a memorable one. They are quite anxious and overwhelmed by the details that they have to attend to. Sohini made it all too comfortable and was quite supportive in making the entire journey pleasant.

Safari Texas Ranch catered my daughter’s wedding (1/25/20) and it could not have gone better! The food was delicious, bar tenders were awesome, and the dessert bar was a huge hit! They transformed the museum (which was the venue) into the perfect ceremony/reception setting! Everything was beautiful! Monica, catering manager, was a jewel to work with! So happy we chose Safari Texas The Lodge to host our daughter’s Engagement party. Mr. Allison and Ms. Sohini Tomar were very helpful and professional. All our queries before the event were answered promptly. All the arrangements at the venue were superb. Though we had outside caterers, there was hot chai and coffee provided. The rustic decor of The Lodge added a unique touch to the ambiance.

Safari Texas ranch was exactly what we needed for our wedding. They offered some of the better food when it comes to venues and their prices can’t be beat when you add alcohol. They worked with us every step of the way and made she we had what we needed to have a beautiful reception. They have multiple halls as well, depending on your party size. Our wedding coordinator, Nancy Dang was OUTSTANDING. She is kind, understanding and very accommodating. She was quick to respond to texts and phone calls. On the day of the event, she was a true professional and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. We used the in-house catering for Indian cuisine. The food was delicious, and guests are still raving about it. I highly recommend this venue to future couples.

We had a wedding reception on 2 Nd nov in magnolia room . Room was itself beautifully decorated that no need any decoration but still they allowed us to display some Indian decoration .
Food- safaris Indian chef did an excellent job And it was tasty that all the guests enjoyed and appreciated the food .It was more than enough and they allowed us to take the remaining food home so we can have a rest from cooking next day .
The outside view of the venue was so beautiful with live peacocks and greenery added like a cream on the cake .
Mr Allison and Miss Sohini did what ever they promised us 100% . Their cooperative nature and hospitality was excellent. We did change the table covers few times but all the things they did with the happy face that’s shows a real good quality of the professionalism . I highly recommend all the people that plz check safari venue and talk to miss Sohini before you finalize the venue for any event . This is the where you get the feeling that you are having a perfect dream event in the resort .

The first day we stepped on safari Texas Ranch, we were a bit nervous. But Ali tended us great! She made us feel comfortable and answered all of our questions. After that Ali passed us on to Ashlynn. Yet another wonderful experience! She took care of us until the end. She made sure everything was perfect for us. She never left our sight. She felt like family. We had lots of laughs and it took a huge weight off of our shoulders! She was amazing! They made our day perfect and we feel blessed to have worked with them!! Safari Texas catered my wedding held off-site at the Houston Museum of Natural Science - Sugar Land. I can’t thank Monica and the staff enough for doing such a wonderful job executing my vision. The food was delicious and the catering staff was professional and attentive. Monica especially was very responsive and every last one of my request down to minor details was delivered as promised.

The pricing was competitive and affordable. Highly recommended.

Their chapel was the perfect place for our ceremony. It was beautiful! We had our reception in the San Antonio Room which fit our somewhat rustic decor theme. The BBQ was actually much better than we expected. A lot of our guests kept telling us they enjoyed the food a lot. The venue is pretty accomdating and they had someone assiting at the reception the whole time which was really nice to have. Their staff was very professional and did a wonderful job throughout the entire process. This place is not only nice but it is affordable which seems hard to find.

We had a wonderful wedding at Safari Texas Ranch. Monica was our coordinator and she was very courteous and prompt throughout our wedding planning process. She was very attentive during our wedding day also. Safari worked with us and our budget to provide a beautiful wedding reception with delicious food and mocktail drinks for our guests. Perfect wedding venue!

My husband and I got married last month at the Safari Texas Lodge and Roman Gardens. It was absolutely a dream and the entire Safari team made everything possible. We worked with Sandra and Monica who held our hands through the entire process. They were wonderful.

On the day of, the logistics were perfect, the venue was set up and reserved seats marked well ahead of time and organizers were very polite and great to work with. Wendy and her set-up team ensured everything went according to schedule. Following the ceremony the staff assisted in escorting guests who were unfamiliar with the ranch to the reception area inside the lodge. Meaghan, Carol, and Delmi were so nice and did a great job.

The reception was spectacular. Decorations, food, atmosphere, music, all were perfect there was more than enough hors d'oeuvres for everyone. The selection of food was awesome, some people even thought the appetizers were the main course. Tables were set very elegantly with the highest quality of flatware and china. The main dishes were excellent, served with restaurant/hotel quality and timing, for over 172 people nonetheless. All the courses were delicious, although the seabass and filet mignon stood out among the rest. Servers were all very nice and ensured all the guests had refreshments and were well taken care of.

After the meal the entertainment was great, although the music from the DJ was a hair too loud, but the music choice was great and dance floor a good size for all guests. Safari Texas was the perfect venue for our wedding.

We had our reception at HMNS Sugar Land and used Events by Safari for the catering. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Monica was knowledgeable, kind, flexible, and easy to work with. She was able to answer all of our questions and willing to help with all of our requests. The food was amazing. All of our guests were raving about it! We had the tasting (which was great) a few weeks before, and I think the food we had at wedding tasted even better. We also appreciated the fact that we did not feel as though they "nickel and dime"-d us.

Our event was at the Houston Museum of Science in Sugar Land and Safari Events catered the wedding. Monica did an outstanding job bringing all of the details together for a stunning evening. The food was outstanding. Our guests loved it. The servers were so accommodating throughout the evening. Every detail flowed perfectly. We had very high expectations for our wedding and Safari and Monica exceeded them all. We would recommend them to anyone considering the museum and catering through Safari. Our reception was flawless. Every detail was well executed. Monica and the staff of Safari Events were just awesome. Thank you for our beautiful wedding reception. My wife and I got married at this venue february 10th 2017. It could'nt have been a more exciting and smooth experience. Our wedding coordinator Monica was simply OUTSTANDING and helpful during the whole process. Any questions that we had were answered immediately whether it be by phone or during a meeting. She is very kind and sweet! The venue does not have its own audio system, but do not let that discourage you, we Hired Mr. Darrell Ripley from DJU productions to DJ/MC our wedding. His professionalism and skills as a DJ are top notch and highly reccomended. He did a fantastic job at making each stage of our wedding move seamlessly into the next, from start to finish. Also a very special thanks to Alejandro, our photographer from the company Evoke. He did a stunning job at capturing all of the best shots from our wedding. I love this guy and highly reccomend him as well as a photographer for your wedding! Super big thanks to everyone, Darrell, Monica, and Alejandro for being a part of our special day!

Our ceremony was held in the Rose Chapel and our reception in The Forum ballroom. We worked with Amanda Evans and she was fantastic! We did the BBQ buffet with an open beer and wine bar. We received numerous compliments on the food and the bartender! Amanda was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Safari Texas to anyone for their wedding. Very affordable and very thorough! Safari Texas Ranch provided with coordinator Sohini Tomar who went out of the way to make the wedding ceremony and the reception a very memorable and wonderful event for us. The venue itself was breathtaking whether it was the outside wedding or the reception at the Taxas Ballroom. Sohini co-ordinated with all our vendors in a timely manner and we are truly thankful to the Ranch for providing such a wonderful person. We wanted to bring out the South-Indian wedding feeling to our guests by serving on eco-friendly Banana leaves on the ceremony day and enormous effort was involved in coordination and she went out of the way to make it happen for us. The tables, the arrangements regards the catering of the food and also with the event managers were tremendous and we are really happy that we made the wise decision of going with Safari Texas Ranch mainly due to her presence.
At the reception also the complete from the table settings design to the table decorations and the place setting as well as the drinks we had taken from Safari Texas and we were very happy with their services.

Safari Texas Ranch is a venue that my community and I are very familiar with, however, this is the first time I've personally dealt with the team at Safari for my own personal wedding. The original planner who I signed with at Safari left 2-3 months before my wedding, but the management never let me worry. Instead, they assigned Sohini to my event, and it turned out amazing! Though are meetings were few and last minute (I had a short engagement), she executed exactly what we wanted without any hesitations and as discussed.

I didn't have a coordinator nor a day of coordinator and I'm SOOO THANKFUL that I didn't add the extra expense to my already fully loaded plate-- Sohini acted as the day of coordinator for my reception and handled everything. Of course no one tries to stress the bride out on the day of the wedding, so I didn't know anything that was going on, except my parents raved about her flawless execution and the Safari team carrying out everything as planned.

As I've mentioned, our community, friends and family alike, are no strangers to Safari, but I can't even begin to count the number of people that came up to me and said "This is the best food I've ever had at Safari" or "Your reception was beautiful-- i'm not sure what was different, but you guys did a great job"... and I couldn't have had such a great reception without the help of Sohini and the team at Safari.

We had our wedding and reception here and it was great! Sohini was our Catering Manager and she was so nice and amazing to work with. She was very responsive and helped us so much with the whole process. She made things happen that I didn't think would and everything turned out perfect. Thank you so much! Our daughter's special day of her beautiful outdoor wedding on the Pecan Tree Patio could not have been more beautiful! Sohini, our catering manager, coordinated each facet of the event by always being availabile to me (mother of the bride), the matron of honor (sister of the bride) who were doing the advance work since the bride lived out of state. The reception room was set-up with a nice flow, lovely linens, convenient buffet and bar. The San Antonio room was perfect for our group of just over 100 people. Sohini handled all of our panicky last minute changes (such as doubling the guest list two weeks before the wedding) without fuss or drama. She put the focus on making my daughter and her new husband happy and worry free. The food was delicious (prime rib and pecan encrusted chicken) and Sohini served the newlyweds herself at the end of the receiving line. Our once in a lifetime experience was magical with Sohini's guidance at Texas Safari Ranch. I heartily recommend this venue and offer thanks and praise to our coordinator.

Amanda Evens with Events by Safari provided us with tables, linens, food, liquor, chairs etc for our wedding at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land. The food was amazing. She also took on the role of wedding planner throughout the day of our wedding and reception which was so great. One less stress for a nervous bride. She stuck to the time line like a champ!!

We used Safari Texas for our reception catering! Amanda Evans comes highly recommended by us! She is fabulous! Not only did she work with the number of people at the event but she was actually at our reception. She walked about and made sure everyone had everything they needed. She also kept the night on track! The food was AMAZING there was no complaints! We had several people tell us how good it was!

Lovely venue. I had my wedding on 06/07/15 in the forum room, which is is their newest room. The room was absolutely gorgeous, I couldn't' believe how much I spent on the room, it was almost a steal. The person I dealt with at Safari, Sherry, was great. She contacted me daily to make sure I had everything ready. I wouldn't definitely recommend this venue to anyone. The lovely outdoor space made it even a plus. The wild peacocks made great photo-opping !

We used Safari Texas Ranch for our wedding/reception at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in Sugarland, and we couldn’t have been happier. We live out of town, and Amanda was totally flexible with our travel schedule. She listened to our menu suggestions and had the chef create dishes for us based on those suggestions. Everything was so delicious at the tasting, it was hard to choose! The wedding day itself was seamless. Amanda was the perfect hostess, coordinating with all our vendors so the wedding party didn’t have to. She even brought me some appetizers as I waited in the bridal room, and brought my husband and I food at our reception table. Safari is amazing, and so is Amanda!!

We got married at the Roman Gardens and had our reception at the Lodge. Our coordinator was Amanda Evans, she was absolutely amazing. She worked with us from the very beginning and was always very quick to respond to all our questions. The day of went absolutely perfect, she was there to oversee all the small details. The staff was all very friendly, the food was delicious, it was an amazing night. They are so reasonably priced compared to nearby venues, I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Everything was top notch from the day we decided to go with Safari. Everyone was very helpful and professional specially Adriana. Adriana was there until the end of our wedding ceremonies. We only had problem with the lady name Wendy who for some reason couldn't get things right at the first place due to communication error with her company which she took it out on us. Owner of Safari was one of best people I have seen who care of people so much that he came every time to check if everything is fine.

We recently had our wedding at Safari, and I must say that they are undoubtedly the exception to the saying, "you get what you pay for." We were so doubtful at first that we were reluctant to select Safari but ultimately decided on the venue because of budget. However, those doubts quickly vanished with each day we met with Amanda Evans and her team at Safari. Throughout the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, Safari did everything to accommodate our requests, and I can assure you we had quite a bit.

We booked the courtyard just outside the Chapel for our ceremony and held the reception in the Safari Lodge for 175 guests. Both were the perfect canvas for our florist and the team at Safari to bring our rustic wedding to life. The food served was impeccable -- in fact, my bride and I received a number of compliments on it, particularly the lamb chops and champagne chicken. The staff at Safari exceeded every expectation that we had from start to finish and I am embarrassed that we judged the quality based on the price tag. I highly recommend you book Safari before they realize what a steal they are.

Safari Texas Ranch did a fantastic job for my daughter's wedding. The venue offers a selection of ballrooms depending on the sizer of your party. Amanda Evans assisted us with everything and was very easy to work with. Her knowledge of planning the ceremony, reception and menu selections were very much appreciated. The day of the wedding was really beautiful and went very smoothly. Amanda or her assistant were with us throughout the evening and I actually felt relaxed during the entire event knowing that they were there taking care of things that I would otherwise worry about. I would would definitely recommend this venue and their staff to take care of all your events.

Such a beautiful venue with so much variety. I had my event at the veranda gazebo and the veranda room. Everyone complemented me on the location it was everything I wanted. Just have to be on top of the coordinaters.

We have gone to Safari for several friends' wedding receptions, and we always had mixed reviews about the service and value of having a wedding reception at Safari. After my own experience, though, I can honestly say I no longer have mixed feelings about Safari. Namely, I have no mixed feelings about our contact/representative at Safari, Liz P. Because of Liz's amazing ability to do her job and do it well, my husband and I had the best wedding reception we could ever have hoped for. Not only did we enjoy our wedding reception, but we didn't hear any complaints from any of our family or friends about any aspect of the reception relating to Safari's facilities, customer service, or professionalism in handling our guests and vendors. I would recommend to anyone to go to Safari for their wedding reception, and, especially, to request Liz to be your rep. Because of Liz, I felt I could contact her at any time with any questions, and she'd always respond and reassure me! She not only handled any and all concerns during the wedding planning period, she took care of me and my husband, as well as our guests, on our wedding day. She was there til the very end even though she didn't need to be, and I can't ever thank her enough for helping us feel so special and keep our wedding day so special!

My wedding was in the Safari Lodge. Safari Texas did an excellent job decorating and getting everything ready. We had fajitas for dinner and everybody loved it. The wait staff was quick and helpful as well as the bartenders. The zebras and peacocks were also a big hit with the guests. Safari Texas made my wedding planning a breeze and I absolutely loved the way my wedding turned out!

We worked with Joy at Safari Texas and she was a gem. She responded to all of our questions (and there were a lot!) and was patient with us. She helped us have in person what we created in our head. We had our wedding in the Lodge and other than the air conditioner being too hot, everything else was great!

We used Safari Texas as our caterer for our wedding at the museum. Amanda was our event coordinator and was absolutely amazing. She was there from begining to end and was not happy unless I was happy, which I was aall the time. I could not have asked for more. Allison, the owner, was phenominal to work with. The linens were so beautiful, the set up of tables, the wedding ceremony, all just looked amazing. The food was wonderful, everyone was raving about the food all week. Your bartender John was the talk of the town, everyone just loved him and he was just such a pleasure and so tentative all night. We really appreciated all of Amanda's hard work and her teams hard work. Amanda really made our day beautiful and effortless.

We just got married less than a week ago, but could not wait to write this review. We are beyond impressed by the services provided by Safari Texas, but more importantly the Event manager, Liz. From day one, she greeted us with a warm smile and insisted that every single request we made will be met with great care to detail and custom made to our dream wedding. Not only did Liz answer all our questions and concerns, but made our day go smoothly. We did not even realize all the behind the scene hard work that Liz and her team put together , but we were only aware of each other and the most important day of our life. We could not have been more pleased with this venue. Our guests enjoyed going outside and seeing the animals and gardens. The Veranda Ballroom was absolutely stunning and the food was wonderful. Everything went perfectly and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests. I can't say enough about how perfect it was!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Texas Safari and, more importantly, Liz! The whole process went smoothly and I could ALWAYS count on Liz to take care of things, even at the last minute. She was very helpful, quick to respond to emails/texts, and present for the entire weekend full of events...all with a huge smile on her face! She facilitated everything with all the other vendors on her own to make sure things went seemlessly. Texas Safari offers a lot of perks that other venues cannot and is priced extremely reasonably! I would recommend ANYONE that has a wedding, or any other event, to go to Texas Safari and ask for Liz as your coordinator!

We loved having our wedding here, the staff is really nice, and helpful. The owner (I forgot his name) really knows how Pakistani/Indian weddings work and will help you from start to finish. The venue is beautiful, and spacious with many different rooms to fit your need. We loved our event here :)

I loved JOY (our wedding coordinator). She was amazing! AMAZING! she was so flexible and so helpful. she dealt with me and my stress so SO SO WELL! I loved our experience.

For the wedding in our family, it was a little different. The bride and groom lives out of state and the wedding took place at Safari Texas. It was very difficult for the couple to fly down so, as the sister of the bride, I was very fortunate to have worked with our coordinator Liz. We did 3 events at S.T.R.. We used the Magnolia for the pre-ceremony and ceremony and used the Grand Ballroom for the reception. Liz was very understanding of our situation and was a delight to work with. As it was my job to convey what the bride and groom wanted for their special day, I was nervous that I would fail. However, Liz really helped throughout the entire process till the very end. No matter how many times I called, emailed, or made changes, she made sure that everything was exactly how the bride and groom wanted it. When it came time for their first meeting, the couple was very happy with Liz's work and how she carried out the entire process till the very end. She made sure that every detail we didn't think of was thought and taken care of. She is very dedicated at what she does and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Our family was very happy to have worked with an amazing coordinator like Liz!

Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. We are still getting compliments on it, a month later. Danielle Saunders at TX Safari Ranch worked with me on each detail. Nothing was too small or too grand to consider. The team at TSR were quite flexible with menu choices, food choices, seating and even different table sizes.
I read many reviews from different venues as I worked on our wedding. When I saw anything that might have gone wrong in another wedding Danielle and I discussed TSR's policy on that concern. Thus we knew what to expect from the beginning to the end. I can honestly say that we were happy from beginning to end.
