Russ Baker with Safari Sounds is an amazing DJ! He made our night happen.

Russ Baker is an amazing DJ! He is very knowledgeable and professional and helped us so much in directing our rehearsal, ceremony music and reception music. The dance floor went the entire night and we got so many compliments on the songs he played. We had an outdoor ceremony and he brought all his equipment to make it happen perfectly. He was able to book with us very short notice and he is extremely reasonably priced. I will be recommending him to everyone!

The Best Around

Safari Sounds are so easy to work with and super affordable. They were friendly before and during the event! They played the music we wanted, and not the new crap out there in the music world! lol Would recommend them 100x over!

The best!! If you need someone who can run the behind the scenes of your wedding flawlessly, Russ is amazing!! All our guest were impressed with him and how well he played the different songs for each part of the ceremony and reception! Russ was so easy and fun to work with!!

Loved this vendor! They handled all mishaps on our end (for example we sent the wrong timeline! And they still made everything work!). We had three levels of reception for them to help the guests navigate through as well as an outdoor ceremony, and evening went so smoothly and such great sound!

Russ was great! He provided both lighting and sound for us! We provided a list of songs we wanted played and he made sure to play all that we requested! He also knew how to get the crowd on the dance floor! I would highly recommend safari sound!

Safari Sound was great to work with and was flexible with our outdoor ceremony, indoor reception and our non-traditional playlists for both! They came to rehearsal to make sure everything went smoothly and made our event so fun. We've worked with them for other parties as well and have always had a great experience. I highly recommend Safari Sound for any DJ needs.

We loved working with Safari Sound for our wedding! They were very professional and kept the party going! They followed our plan for the reception and played everything on our list. We highly recommend them!

They did an amazing job at my wedding! The up lighting was beautiful. Our dj made it his priority to make our day exactly what we wanted!

We had a GREAT experience with this vendor!! We had an outside wedding and they played all of my ceremony music as well as the reception music. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this vendor.

Safari Sound is the BEST DJ service around my area. Russ was so easy to work with and made sure I knew what to expect and got all my information correct. Had a great music selection. So happy they were a part of our big day!

Russ provided outstanding service. His sound system was topnotch and his extra lighting package was beautiful in the venue we chose. Russ was easy to work with for scheduling and choosing fantastic music from his extensive library. Anything we requested he could acquire. Russ even sacrificed some of his own time to get set up early as to not disrupt our wedding... Something another vendor probably would have charged us extra time for. Russ's entertainment kept all of our guests dancing until the end... No small accomplishment. We can't recommend Safari Sound enough.

Russ Baker with Safari Sound hasn't done our wedding yet, but I have been to several school dances and friends weddings that used Safari Sound. They do a great job of playing music that goes with the event and is very open to requests. We look forward to using them at our wedding in May!

I really enjoyed Russ. He was very friendly and he was willing to work with me to get me exactly what I wanted. He came for my rehearsal to make sure it all went smooth for my actual wedding.

I highly recommend Safari Sound they were awesome to work with and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. The dj was so good and played the music my husband & I wanted without even asking for requests. If you are looking for a great dj for your wedding Safari Sound is who you want.

Safari Sound was great! We worked with Russ and I asked a lot of questions and he was very quick to answer them all. We gave him a list of the songs we wanted and he played most if not all and mixed it up very well. We had people dancing until the very end of our wedding reception. I highly recommend Safari Sound for any event!

Russ with Safari Sound was great! He was flexible about meeting up with us and listened to our requests for songs. He has lots of experience, so he was really great at moving the reception along at the right places. He brought out additional mood lighting for our reception (even though we didn't order it), which really added to the mood. Would definitely recommend him again to anyone doing a wedding! They have a great system. Everyone danced even though we had 110 degree weather on our wedding day. Great variety of music was played like I asked and they were very prompt. They provided some uplights for our backdrop also!

Randy was our DJ for our wedding. We were a little disappointed in the song selection for the dance floor. There was an overall lack of upbeat songs. We also wanted a dollar dance and also an anniversary dance but none of these were done. I think Randy could have also been a little more enthusiastic and upbeat as well. Overall, he was very nice and flexible when we had to push up our first dance song to accommodate our photographer.

Russ was a really nice man to work with, I just wish he would've played more of the songs we had requested from the beginning and during the reception. It was basically just one genre playing all night, which wasn't terrible, we just wanted a mix of all genres of music. Maybe meeting up before like we wanted to do, to talk would've helped more to have us on the same page. The uprights he provided and the sound system was really nice. I wouldn't not recommend his services I just wish he would adapt to what the bride and groom really wants to hear.
